WOW thanks for that brilliant news DD. Oh mig, I'm dancing (slowly)
round the room with excitement. If it wasn't chucking it down with rain, I'd start a Conga line through our village. t4591 t4591 t4591"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Well, if all has gone to plan (and I haven't heard it hasn't) then today is final chemo day. For those who can face it I suggest bunting, cake and cuppas in celebration. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

This morning she went to the GPs, unaccompanied and on the bus! She's feeling the effects now but it's an achievement. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

What a brave lady you are mig. I hope you're GP is as proud of you as we are. There's still plenty of cake and tea at the cafe.

It is, indeed, an impressive achievement and well done, mig
And how are you, DD? You were distinctly under the cosh yourself. Have the dizzy heights of mod grot appeared on the horizon yet?If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
Steven Wright0 -
Thank you for asking, Sticky, the giddy heights of moderately grotty still lie some way over the horizon. I haven't felt this bad for this long before but never mind, there are others in greater distress. I only have arthritis so no big deal, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Absolutely an achievement Mig, I am sure your GP is very proud of you.
Adding to the pot of strength and popping the kettle on again, for you and for DD - large cuppa's needed regularly - much love t4591 t4591 AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I've heard nothing (mind you I haven't asked!) so presume all is well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Yess DD, you are wlcome any time. We cafe dwellers have the kettle permanently on the boil and cake deliveries every 5 minutes. Youv'e certainly earned the privelege of being an honorary member of our warm and welcoming and very famous VAL'S CAFE.

Kathleen, that is so kind of you and I appreciate the generous offer. I have been known to press my nose against the steamy windows of our dearly-loved and much-missed Val's esteemed establishment but do not venture in because I have an appalling allergy to . . . . cats. However, if there is a spare table going outside (and if Aidan consents to be my waitress) I'd love a cuppa and a piece of millionaire's shortbread! You found the picture of Val's cafe Kath - haw amazing is that.
Large cups of T for our Mig and buckets of strength and love t4591
Allergies to pus cats DD, we don't want any itches or sneezes, do take a seat. I am on my way, with my 1970's cake / tea trolley. Very a la mode. Tea for one, with Millionaire's Shortbread, a pleasureXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Bubbles, you're both a darling and a treasure. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
