I was so nervous. I'd been awake since 2am with tremendous pain in my knees and ankles. My father came with me and took notes. It went quite well. Basically running through the form again. Plus there were some mental arithmetic which I utterly failed at. I was asked to remember three words and I was so focussed on the…
I just wanted to say how much help Arthritis Care has been to me. First of all it was nice not to feel so alone, I borrowed loads of the tips to make life easier, I was guided in the direction of speechnotes.co and I looked up medications to get an independent view. I saw the rheumatologist in Mid December. Because there…

Hi everyone, I've recently been having a bit of a flare up. I came off the methotrexate as we want to try for a baby. I've received a steroid injection from my physio which has definitely helped but my knee is still giving me a lot of bother. I go to my local hydrotherapy pool once a week too which does help too but my…
Things have been deteriorating in my knees for some months but it's only now that I am acknowledging the fact. I know from experience that, once I am used to certain levels of difficulty, I don't always recognise when things are exceeding reasonable but there's no doubt they are. When I saw a rheumatology nurse earlier…
