Don't know which airport she was flying from, some here seem to have been OK.........Stansted and Gatwick seem to have been the worst hit as far as I can see, as she is further north hopefully she will have been all right.

Hi barbara I think I might be comming down with something, my face is flushed which usualy means I am
When I woke up this morning my left hand was swollen like a balloon  I couldn't bend my fingers, think that might be a reaction to the antidepressants

Notice some of you were wondering about Val and her flight.
She had an early morning flight 7.30 am. I'm sure she got there alright.
Trish xxx
ps
Val was not flying from Gatwick, nor Stanstead I think she lives near Sheffield she was catching a train and going to an airport around that area I don't know that way.
Would she go from Manchester???0 -
Hugs to you Trish and Julie, nurse had better be on her rounds to keep an eye on you, with ice, flat lemonade, essential oils, range of pain killers, anti sickness meds, in fact I will bring the trolley.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0

evening all.
been in bed all of yesterday - felt really sick & totally drained.
managed a bit of shopping today and gradually felt better as day went on.
Lucky me to have a hubby who doesn't mind helping me out.
Ange ...... if I parcel him up & send him he can help with your cleaning ... as long as you give clear and simple instructions that is
Loads of hugs for all those who are not doing so good. There seem to be lots of us  just at the mo.
Perhaps it is the icelandic volcanic ash that has upset arthur? :?
wahtever it is .... I've got the hugs, lavender, cow pats, painkillers and anti-sickness meds on standby and am goign to see if I can sleep tonight.

Ah Trish there you are, thought I'd lost you for a minute there. How you doing0
-
Hi Brenda
Not so good. How about you is it pain??0 -
Hi Trish so sorry you not feeling so good, sending some hugs, hope they help (((()))). I'm having loads of probs with my feet at the mo, pain keeping me awake. Doc gave me new slow release painkillers on Friday but don;t think they strong enough. Can't take anti inflams so that seems to make things harder to treat. Anyway that's enough of me feeling sorry for myself, just hate being awake at this time of night,
here's a little flower to cheer you up x
0 -
What ones did your doctor give you??
Sorry Brenda. thanks for the flower What have you got RA or OA??0 -
Tradorec XL 200mg, I think they're Tramadol slow release, was taking co codamol 30/500 before, they were marginally better0
-
We could bash him that might stop him. My bones go out at night then come in and complain.
Here look I think he might hit arthur for us
Trish x0 -
Lets give him a go see if he can beat the c--p out of him, ooh I'm getting a bit carried away now. Been diagnosed with OA despite positive rh factor, doc hinks its ra and so does physio, so not sure really, going for some more xrays next week on feet so might be clearer then. All I know is the pain seems t be everywhere, toeas, ankles, knees, fingers, wrists, elbows, neck and shoulders allhurt all the time but feet by far the worst at the mo and beginning to affect my walking etc... How about you??0
-
Brenda
Well I'm not sure if they have to build up in your body. I take slow realease Oxycontin but I have to take them every 12 hours. I do have Oxynorm in between if the pain gets bad.
Can you not take something like Paracetamol just to give you something in between can't you ask your doctor?0 -
He did say I could top up with paracetomol and did this yeasterday, did make things better for a while, should try that again now I guess cos its not going away without0
-
Trish, just wanted to say thanks for chatting with me, sorry you feeling so bad, but it really helps to know someone's there x0
