I was just going to hun, parched here too. Need to move a moment as I am setting like stone. We see people of mature years out speed walking or jogging  They don't have Fybro that's for sure, it does say somewhere to do aerobic exercise to help with fybro, ok, that's fine if your joints can take it and you don't have 60% of your coronary arteries blocked. Eh, what we like...........right, kettle, on, T, make, be right back.

Course you can Trish, coffee??? Sorry you are ouching, sending hugs

2 sugars, got yer Jan, there you go.
I didnt have any probs taking the oramorph & Gabs, I dont take Oramorph unless its so bad i cant function.

Bubbles, Cris swears by Pregabalins & i think there slowly working for me too. gabapentins did nothing for me.
Im only on 150 twice a day ATM as 300 x2 daily is too much for me. I couldnt function, so spaced out.
I now do what cris advised. GP cut me down by half,150 twice a day but when it gets real bad i take an extra 150 half way through the day & its seeming to work.Ive got me Tramadols, 50mg amptripylins & Oramorph for when i need it. Ive got to have me Trams now then off to bed shortly.
    Im whacked out.

    Hi Debs

Do you really think the Pregablin is better Debs?

Have you got a leaflet in the box? Only my phantom pains are getting worse plus nerve pain keeps making them jump. I have no control over them.

Can you see if it says it is for nerve pain?

Thanks Trish, lovely. I think they are giving me pregablin for nerve or neuropathic pains, rather than gabapentin.

We were chatting to the neighbour over the way and talking about gardens and trimming bushes.............well, as you might imagine, it went a bit down hill and we started chuckling about, topiary and doing a brazillian on the hedge.

She then said about her next door neighbour, who was out one day, saying to our friends husband, that she just had to trim her bush because it was so long it was banging against the house at night     c045.gif our friend said she had to run inside as she was wetting herself and I nearly fell out the back door when she told us.............I wish I had been there when the lady said it, mind you, there would have been a puddle.

Ditto my friend, ditto, the cardiologist says it is a case of damage limitation and long term cocktail of drugs and the rheummy says conservative management as I am no candidate for surgery with even more drugs...........I know what you mean with the pilates, they had it on QVC tonight, well, I would never get on the machine and if I did it would take a team of weight lifters and a wheelbarrow to get me up again.
The original pilates thing was designed at high bed height, which would be a start I guess.

Rheummy said to me, nice regular exercise, errrrrrrrr, no, sorry, cannot do that, I have chronic heart disease, as my gp has TOLD you. apparently my arteries are spastic, so the consultant said last week the drugs help to a point, but they cannot perform miracles.

I need to move, I am hurting. I will say n night peeps, rest well, take lots of care, sleep well and I will see you tomorrow. Hope the pains ease, lots of hugs, as always. XXX Love Bubbles. f030.gif

Hi all, anyone around???? OMG Bubbles, I'd never be able to look that woman in the eye again!!!!!!! Well, think I'll have a lovely hot choccy while I'm here, nice and creamy with sprinkles and Marshmallows on and some strawberies to dip in yum yum, don't want much do I. Well in agony tonight, feet, ankles and knees, will be glad to go back to see doc tomorrow and have another stab at some stronger medication, just scared it will zonk me out, cos still have to go to work tomorrow, going on a training course to York. I feel like I'm turning into a right moaning Minnie, every time I go to see him there seems to be somthing else hurting or stopping me from sleeping, but hey ho I guess that's what he's there for, and he is very good. Ah well, enough of my ramblings, hope you all having a good night and wishing you all a better day tomorrow. Love and hugs, ((((((())))))) Brenda xx

    Hi

I'm awake, keep coughing, I do hope, well I just do hope.

Will have an Ovaltine, and listen to the birds all chatting away in the garden.

There are two birds that sing so nice but it is not like the other bird songs I hear.
They are different. Don't know what they are.

Well find my bed. Place is nice and clean Toni Val.

Has anyone seen Barbara? I don't seem to have seen her, is she ok??

Hi Trish, how lovely to see you, sorry you're awake with coughing, I hope it soon settles down so you can get back to sleep. Listening to the birds is very soothing isn't it, its very peaceful at this time of day and it feels as though time stands still somewhat. Enjoy your ovaltine, that reminds me of being a little girl, a mug of hot ovaltine before bed hmmm makes me feel all safe and warm remembering it. We have really missed you Trish and were very worried, so its such a relief to know that you are on the mend. Take it easy an look aftet yourself, love, Brenda xxx :D:D:D
