    Hi Wonky

    I asked Ben about the bread and he said that it does crumble. He has not mentioned that before, bless him. As I said, he eats anything! He said he has to be very careful when he eats the sandwiches at work because of the crumbs although they do brush off his suit easily!!Makes a bit of a mess if he eats the sandwiches in the car!! :roll: I gave him the two loaves I made last night, so they have not been frozen. He wonders if that may make a difference. He also mentioned the bread does not stay fresh too long.

    HI Elna,

    the freshness thing is quite a problem when you want to go anywhere & take some with you.

    My friend tends to toast hers beforehand, although last year we did go away for a weekend and we visited one of the larger chains of pubs which do GF meals, and because I had rung before & checked with them, they kindly toasted her bread so she could use it for breakfast the next day.

    It really is like a military operation when she goes away abroad, as she never knows what she will find that she can eat! I love trying things out when cooking and baking ..... and have found quite a few recipes that I can use for her from my veg box people.

    I'lll let you know when I've tried it out.

    :D Slept soooo well last night and had a lie in too, cannot remember when that last happened, the lie in I mean, :lol: My sleep pattern has finally sorted itself out since my TKR, two months earlier than the first one, so that is something to be very cheerful and grateful about too :D

    I'm so happy to have seen and had a long cuddle with my grandson today. It was so nice to see him and talk to him again.

    He has grown taller as well.

    raining on my garden...sorry but we do have an hosepipe ban...so it saves hubby using watering can :) Oh and going for my patio table it is in the sale....so have to buy now...I will sit under the umbrella :):)

    :D You enjoy sitting at your new table with the umbrella up, Barbara. 8) :D This rain is quite a novetly, isn't it, well it is in the south! We are happy too that it is raining off and on, I have been relinquished of watering the garden with 2 watering cans and hubby is spared watering at the allotment. We have no ban as yet.

    :D:D It turned into a lovely, sunny day over our garden. Received a phone call from grand daughter and later she and daddy called in for a good couple of hours. :D Peace reigns now. :D Gotta dash and get our meal now so we can sit outside to eat before the sun goes in. :D

    Hi, it is our weddng anniversary today, saturday, 14 years but we have been together longer, Malcolm and my brother sent me some flowers, and Malcolm bought me a piece of Royal Worcester, we have been working our way through a bottle of wine, diluted with lemonade, all day. I bought some profriteroles, forgot Malcolm dosen't like them, I will have to eat them all, what a shame!! love Jaspercatxx
