It's pouring down with rain......falling down lovely forgotten what it looked like real rain.

We've had rain, too, and thunder and lightning.........I love a good storm! Enough to water the plants nicely and half fill the water butt.
Made my day (little things, eh?)

Off out to lunch to celebrate my friend's Ruby wedding aniversary. She married her economics lecturer at the tender age of 20 years old, which caused a bit of a stir at college

I was checked out at the hospital yesterday afternoon and have been diagnosed with IBS. Could have been much worse so that is definately something for me to be cheerful about. I have also been given the go ahead to begin my anti inflams again after being told to stop them over two months ago. That is something to be utterly cheerful about.

Elna, I am glad to hear from you. I had a feeling something wasn`t quite right. Thank goodness it isn`t anything more serious. Still unpleasant for you though..........Much love to you, and L`il Lola.........Ange.0

Aw thank you Ange, yes it has been dragging on for about three months or so. Have a list of foods to avoid and am wondering what to do with all the beautiful tomatoes in the greenhouse and the onions on the allotment. I love my vegs too and so many appear to be a "no, no" from now on. I love jacket tatties too but must not eat the skins anymore. Will have to experiment and see as time goes on.
I hope you are ok,
Love

Hi Joan
Yes it will be so nice and it is a surprise. His son was missing so much as well.
Although my DIL took him to see old friends and all the family he has still missed him.

I had a phone call from my grandson telling me that they got to Euro Disney and had got Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse autographs for me.
He had been on the tea cup and saucer ride twice. Tomorrow he is going to have his breakfast with the Characters.

Hi Trish
Hope you have a lovely time with you son (and grandson) this week.
Hi Elna
Sorry to hear you've had the worry over the last few months - but glad that you have got the diagnosis now. What a shame about having to avoid those home grown tomatoes!

Aw, thank you Marion and Barbara,
I am hoping that I may be able to introduce to tomatoes at a later date. Fingers x'd. I had to use 61bs of lovely homegrown beef tomatoes to make tomato soup!! Broke my heart but at least they have not gone to waste and now I have 7 portions of soup in the freezer for others, to hopefully enjoy. Lola went to the beach on Thursday, not the first time, but she loves going. This time it was Brighton and she adores pebbles so was in her element filling her bucket!!
You both look after yourselves,
Love

Elna, So sorry you have IBS I do hope you manage to get it under control soon. My brother has it but thankfully not to bad with it.
Two year olds are such a pleasure to watch. So full of wonder.
Trish, Have a wonderful time with your son. Hope it will be the boost you need just now.
