My reason to be cheerful is, the sun is shinning, my anti inflammatories are working, and best of all my granddaughters don't go back to school till next week, so don't have to be at 7 just yet
hope everyone has a goodish day.

I'm so pleased for you. No you keep on his side let him talk to you I'm sure he could do with someone listening to him. Perhaps he will find it easier to talk to you Julie.
Not judging is the best way to go with him at the moment.
At least he is talking Julie. It will make you feel better too.

Its sunny outside - in the office with the window wide open, listening to the cows in the field outside... Hubby just told me he has put the new tap on the kitchen sink...
Oh, and just realised my pain is easing after giving in and taking some co-codamol - god's gift to sore elbows!!
I think that is more than one reason to be happy - but today seems to be a good day! (plus 10 days till I go to Italy!)0 -
Been at the allotment in the sunshine with hubby for nearly three hours. The time whizzed by Probably suffer tomorrow but who cares... I don't

Bet you are counting the days until your hols,Katie! Keep taking the cocos regularly and you may find they keep the pain away, even if you only take one or two per day.

Yes, Trish, we have had an allotment for nearly 25 years and over that time it has been our allotment, my allotment and hubby's allotment. For the past few years it has been his allotment and I have not been down there that often although it is just down the road. I always enjoy it, when I go there though
I see you had something to be cheerful about today then

I always try to keep cheerful as I can. I'm sure it pulls you down when you are unhappy.
I'm cheerful today because the sun is shining. Just wish I could sleep properly.

An allotment for 25 years. I expect you have had a lot of vegtables from that.
It must be nice as you can make lots of soups with all the vegtables. Dpes hubby grow fruit there as well??

Hi Trish
No fruit trees or fruit bushes. We have been given lots of plums though, I sent you some over, remember? Also got some from my mum when we saw her. We used to have an apple tree in the garden but it caught some disease in the end so had to be cut down. Next door used to have a Bramley apple tree, so we got lots of cookers then. Sadly that tree is no longer there either. These houses were built on land that was an orchard, hence we all had fruit trees in the gardens at one point.

Totally agree with you Trish about trying to keep cheerful. Not being able to sleep does drag one down, I remember how I felt when I had bouts of not sleeping at all well. Let's hope you are able to get to sleep and stay asleep tonight.

A huge cauldron of butternut squash soup is simmering nicely on the hob - when cooked I shall add the milk and liquidise. Will be ready in the freezer for those cold wintery days.

I'm still very happily married.
IWe had a Scype call from our family. With all this modern technology we ended up playing snakes and ladders and then Ludo. We had a great time and grandson was laughing.
It made our day.

I'm still very happily married in spite of the fact that I can't stand the sight of him. 45 years next week - you get far less for murder!
