    Hi Iris

Just catching up on you here and sending hugs. Been a busy and stressful time all round for you recently I know. Hope you and your son coping there, you do have my sympathy. Love to you both.

Hope all goes well for the new meds next week and that they do start to help quickly. At least you were given time at the medical so hope the outcome is a good one for you and that they don't keep you waiting with a decision. Take care, gentle hugs to Wally too.

    love
    Chris

    Hi Iris,

It would be nice to think her being an ra nurse would be in your favour but..... will it be?! I still think it will be interesting to know what jobs they think you can do...... Will have to wait and see what they say to you eh?

Sorry its all so much up in the air for you and R still. Hope they can get the lad home soon and that R is ok?

Its not surprising you missed the hand appointment, the week you have had there. Hope they are ok about it and that Wally has had a good week?

Sending you am omelette, a hungry sheep and a ((((( ))))) and well as the healing draft and greens. Love Cris xx

    Hello Iris

Sorry to hear that things are still up in the air with regards to the funeral arrangements - it's horrendous for the family and friends..

    Great news about the infliximab!

Glad that your hand/wrist is more functional now and pain free.. those are the important things.

    Take care.

    Hi Iris

good to have an update - you are doing well to keep up the exercise no matter what. I'm not having many minutes to myself at the mo - so have to settle for "daily life therapy" quite often - and the physical activity of the day has to count as my exercise.

The work assessment thingy - well who knows? I suppose it depends on how much the RA nurse/assessor is allowed to apply her own knowledge and how restricted she is by the actual assessment.

    Thinking of you and R.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hello Iris, Sorry things are so up in the air at the moment for you and your son.
All the rules and regulations makes for even more stress and upset. His parents will need all the support they can get.
Sorry your son has lost his friend in this way and I know you will be torn between wanting to keep him with you so you can comfort him.
Fingers crossed you can start the meds on Thursday. You certainly need to get Arthur back into his box.
Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you.

Loads of hugs to you both,

    Lv, Ix
