Hi All,

I have been a bit off lately, so firstly have to apologize fr that. Some of it is Internet connection and some of it is my brain......

I haven't bee so good for a while..... Some of you know that but what I was wondering is how do you stop this sleeping thing?! I mean real fall asleep just like that and tired as son as you wake up.....

I have to leave at 7-8 on a Sunday and despite 75 missed calls (I am not joking) and 3 alarms I didn't wake up till gone 11..... now that's a good 11 hours and I feel like I could just go back to bed! This is all without the aid of sleeping pills as well!

I never do this, partly cus after 4-5 hours the back wakes me up and since it didn't the lumber is having a banging old party in there! Still the pregabalin is gatecrashing that so it soon should be singing mellow :lol:

I got the pain clinic on Wednesday, the normal medrone isn't doing much now as my tissues etc have gotten used to it so she is going to use botox..... hell am I going to move the face into the injection fast :lol: Mind I have already told her that so she said she would be prepared :lol: I also got to wake up.....

Does anyone have any ideas about stopping this crushing tiredness please?! The bones are rubbish, my wrists are full of fluid, my muscles are teasy and have had to stop the mtx for a couple of weeks cus got the father and mother of a cold that wont shift and well I don't feel too good and maybe sleep is the answer but.... I can't keep auditioning for the part of Rip van Winkle!

You all take care and anyone who is about on a sale ,morning please fly down and shake me till I do wake up :lol: Cris xx

Oh skezier, I have no idea. We all know well the tiredness that comes with everything we have but this does seem extreme. You do push yourself very hard, which in some ways is admirable (the 'this bloody disease is not going to beat me!' attitude which we all need and you have in spades) but I think you have severely overdone it in the past few weeks - the foalings, the shearing, the sales etc - hun, it's payback time and I think this is it. I am sorry I cannot be more constructive but you have such a range of problems I really do not know where to start - and, I suspect, neither do you. I am sitting here typing and bouncing around to Deadmau5 - I've sent you a light-hearted message about that and now I feel very guilty 'cos I didn't realise things were this tough. I feel so helpless: all I can do is this ((((((())))))), and send many, many healing thoughts. DD

    Hi DD,

Hey don't you go feeling guilty that you didn't know, I don't say much cus we all got problems and well you haven't been so good your self.

I like light hearted flower... I use a sense of humour as part of my cope mechanism... got that chained down cus when that runs off....:lol:

So glad you got it... track 5! Takes you up to the clouds and beyond  (if it Random).

I think you may be right its a hard way of life sometimes. The foaling actually did take it out of me.... few sleepless nights there and well I shall just get another alarm clock and practice a quick face move for wens :lol::lol:

Hope your feeling a bit better as well? Sending you a ((((( ))))) and a bucket of feel better draft which I have as well and hope it works.... Love Cris xx

Hi - sending you loads (((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))) cause thats all I can do.
trouble is we have to battle all the time with something but determination keeps pushing us but as DD said, you have done too much. But your fighting spirt will make you come out the other end of this - hope that makes sense :?:

    hope you feel better soon.

Yep, it is Random and I will be putting track 5 on the MP3 later! I need it LOUD and we got neighbours. I'm not sure about the first track - I much prefer instrumentals to lyrics with these things - but I am still bouncing!

So, Dr DD got it right, did she? You are an inspiration skezier, and I mean that. You rarely complain, so when you do I know that means 'rough' beyond my imagination. Be kind to yourself for the next few days please - yes, tend the animals 'cos you have to, but in short bursts, don't spend too long hanging around chewing the cud with them, so to speak, get in and get out and get home to bed. PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE MAKING IT TO BED and not armchairing all the time 'cos that really WON'T help. DD

Ooooh - track 7, got a bint warbling on it but despite that . . . . . .another LOUD one for DD!

    Hi Julie,

Its a shift this bone stuff isn't it? A mate of mine told me the sleeping thing is likely to be the fibro..... I shall try a few early night actually in bed and not an armchair..... that might help eh?!

Hope your doing ok? ((( ))) and some flamingo seed (do they eat seed?) xx

    Hi DD,

Track 13 are the best versions....... only needs to be loud..... Oh I love no near neighbours

Yep I think I have pushed it a bit but have to as well to some degree..... Been taking it more easy and just getting more tired.... odd eh? Catch up and payback but I must get to bed and not do the armchair thing eh?! Debs keeps sending her dog down to make me go...... I wish lot would but they just lament a missing armchair for them and Haz goes to bed :lol:

Back on the mtx this week and the cold has improved and I get the drip again soon so that will help...... and I can sleep all week :lol::lol::lol:

Track 13 flower..... best there is! ((( ))) xxx

    Ops track 12 there isn't a 13

That's how it goes: you slow up and the tiredness takes over. Pure adrenalin was keeping you going for quite some time, out at all odd hours of the night and very early morning - hun you ain't as young as you used to be, your body is under attack from the conditions and the meds - well, they're unspeakable anyway! ARMCHAIRING ISN'T HELPING. I think I shall have to come and live with you for a little while so I can look after you in my own inimitable way. Beaujolais, any white we can get and Deadmau5 v v v loud will sort us both out! Now that's what I call nursing! DD

I will put all the tracks on my MP3 when I can boot Rod off his computer (that's where all my stuff is - he's surfing hotel/restaurant porn at the mo) apart from Track 1. Don't get that one at all.

Cris It is good you are getting some rest but not so good when it is artificial and you still feel wiped out when you wake up. What you- and lots of others on the forum need- is good quality sleep.

    75 missed calls! 3 alarms!

Thanks for your good wishes(cafe thread). Having a crisis of confidence with OH at the moment and feel crushed.Might feel better eventually.......but he so knows how to hurt me.

    Hi DD,

I know the armchair isn't real sleep and you wake up at around 5 and its too late to go to bed.... done it a few times as well.....

Come on down flower and we can wind the music as loud as you like... sometimes walking into my front room its like you can feel the sound like a wall....... I love it!:lol::lol::lol:

Track 12 is remixes of all the tracks and are better versions.... one always reminds me of Chris actually...... another of a meadow long ago and flowers and breezes and my old partner, another just takes me up and up and up... think I need that one!

hey sometimes things get complicated :lol::lol: ((( ))) and thanks for your advise I do appreciate it and know your right..... I just must become a bit more animated today  Shall have a bop round in a min..... xxx

    Hi Elizabeth,

I am sorry its not a good day. Sending you some more hugs and a ton of understanding. More ((( ))) and you are right.... 75 missed calls is my new record    I worried the callers as well......  Love and a bounce from Primmy Cris xx

I have never slept in the afternoon, but now I could go to bed and not get up till the day after.
I normally have to be up at 7 for the grand kids...but while they are on holiday my OH has to wake me at 9 sometimes  my gp did say that it can be linked with fibro.
I will send you lots of hugs for now, till I know more ((((((((())))))

I am so embarrassed... 75 missed calls 50 from the same person     She is giving me a biscuit tin so it vibrates more and I must find a really annoying ring tone :lol:

Hi, I get tired easily too, as others have said, anything extra or stressful and the next day I'm off. I often tell my husband that I'm not sleeping, just relaxing, but he says I make a lot of noise when I relax.....I can't get away with that, I know I snore!!!

Might be worth having a word with a doctor about it but it may just be natures way of helping you get over your cold! Love Sue

Cris, I think it could be the fibro too, 'cos I am query that and I am sleeping for England. I wouldn't mind if I woke up feeling any better but I don't, I feel like something the cat's chewed up before bringing it in.

I was hoping the amytrip would help but I am on the lowest possible dose and I don't think it is enough. Still got all the muscle pain..........oddly enough I do feel better in myself since I started it even though it is a minute dose and in spite of all the problems I've had in the last 6 weeks.

Still waiting for my next Rheumy appointment to come through - some time in October is my best guess, but will be asking to go on the cancellations list.

I'm lucky in that I've got someone here who will forcibly wake me (but only if I ask him to. He thinks I'm better off sleeping, but it doesn't make me feel any better so where's the point?)

Ho hum, if it's not one thing it's another............from one Rip to another.................

Hope your holding there and sending a ((( ))) and hope things are ok? Luv Cris xx

    Hi Joan,

My brain goes off on its own now a days! I have so much I should do and yet here I sit with baning music vibrating me and looking out the window thinking... I shall do that in a min......

Hope you and Sue are ok and we still got a bit of sun :D Luv and a bounce from Blossom as primmy is asleep  xx

    Hi Rip Annie,

Its horrible isn't it? Sleep yet feel so wished when you wake! Pregabalin is good for fibro Annie and I am on it and have been for over 2 years so its a ache in the muscles but not pain... just feel like someone has filled me up with concrete!:lol::lol: That would include my brain as well  Next time you see the rumo ask about the pregabalin flower. Please could i borrow your waker upper.... think I might need one some how  Sending ((( )))'s and a bucket of wake-up as well as a bucket of hopes they help you soon! Oh Cris

The crushing tiredness flower has only one solution, don't work so hard!!! Sorry I know that isn't an option but I do so wish you could get some help there. Did you ever find any local agricultural place who have students needing the hands on experience and would volunteer to help with the critters? It's all I can think of at the mo.

No wonder you are so tired with all you do. Sending some healing drafts, hugs, and strawberry shortbread your way.

this was the best I could find with a sheepsie on:

You need quality sleep so no armchairing please!
    Hang in there.

    Hi Chris,

Your right... The drip soon and I get help that week! I just feel sometimes it would be ice to get away and not have my strings pulled all the time... Mind that’s called a holiday and I haven't had one of those since the '80's.... and I wonder why I am tired....

You know what I should do? I should go down west.... take a flask and a camera and go home! Its just finding the time and the money for petrol but you know what .... Thursday I will do the market (it was closed for a min but its back now) and I shall hope for a good sale!

The the second track on track 12 is the one that always make me think of you!

Hope your dong ok flower and I have just been out with the camera... will get back to you on that :lol::lol: and you know I will

    Love the sheepis :D

Love and ((((( ))))) Cris xxx

    Hi DD,

Its an incredible album eh? I don’t mind track 1 but it not the best is it?

I tend to listen to track 12 all the time... I must lay the other one sometime  Brazil is him.... in fact I think its tack 5?!

I know one thing I really am held together by pregablin and loud music :lol::lol: Some of Deadmau5 is trance... and I like trance  How old am I?!:lol: ((( ))) and time he did another album  xx

Just done a bit of actual work and .... who put this concrete in my legs and arms?!

    Oh roll on our Rave!!!

    Hi there Cris

Gosh you must have been 'out for the count' not to have heard all those calls!

Is your haemaglobin OK? I'm just wondering if you're anaemic, on top of everything else - that used to make me sleep all the time..

You're incredibly strong physically. Cris, to be able to do all that you do. Perhaps, as you say, it's catch up time..

Hope you have managed to enjoy some sunshine today. I managed a 40 minute walk with both dogs today - the most I have managed with them in one go for a long time..

By the way - when my Freya was a puppy (before she got her 'ruff' and thick coat) I was constantly being asked by children if she was a fox... and a friend who had a Bedlington Terrier was once asked by a child if it was a sheep!!

    Love from Marion x
