Up the meth and wear a hat. Would breathing pure oxygen every now and again help the O2 levels? Botox has been used medically for years - the frozen-faced ones have a great deal to answer for. I havge to go cook - will be back with more rubbish ideas later. DD (unplugged)

    H Marion,

Didn't see you there! Are they prescription drinks? I had some of those when the crohn's was really bad as was put on a liquid diet last flare. They were chalky and didn't taste nice but those were the ensures I think they were called and it was 3-4 years ago.

Tis lot also ai the chair is theirs at night so are not too impressed to find me in it still  I am going to get my head down earlier tonight as I do feel tired and with a bit of luck it will make it easier to be up at my normal time and not 11    I can't believe I did that you know... never have before ever!

Hope work wsa ok today? ((( ))) and slurps to the girls xx

    Hi Barbara,

They have moved it to save money to Plymouth so distances are involved... also I don't have enough animals or acreage so don't qualify. They dd put a card up for me on their notice bored but nothing has come of it at all.

Hey this morning about 10ish the dam fox turned up... sleek coated and clearly not old I don't know what it was up to doing a daylight recki... he didn't get a chicken or a duck but he did get a raving banshee :lol::lol:

Hope your ok today and sending you a ((( ))) xx

    Hi DD,

Good luck with your dinner and would you like some eggs to go with it  I agree upping the mtx is right, hair loss well it might stabilize eh?!

Its my blood vessels that are too small to support my body that causes the lack of O2 in the tissues and organs. It wouldn't really help to breath more in as the vessels still couldn't carry more. That's what the drip does, widens them all up big time but they are so small they spring back quite quick and that's why it wares off in 3 months...... I wish it didn't  ((( )))) Cris xx

Hey Cris me ol' flower :D

I is soooo verrrrry glad you had such a good doc appointment and it was a bonus she was being nice. sounds too that she is interested in the follow up so that will make the next visit easier?

All the symptoms make sense now don't they :?: doesn't make it less painful or tiring..but at least you (and all of us) aren't worrying ourselves senseless about you and what is going on with the PA and everything else. :!:

Don't worry about the hair...you're right..compared to it controlling the arther and crohn's it's a no brainer. And although the doc said there's nothing can help with hair loss...well some of us have been helped with taking increased Folic Acid...so you might be the same.
Keeping your hair short and nourished makes good sense too. I have mine quite short and although I don't have a comb over yet :lol: I do brush it over the thinning bit at the top. All glamour this innit.
Get theeself to bed early Cris and no falling asleep in odd places. k050.gif

The loons send their sloppiest slurps and Smudge just a fixed feral stare.

Love n 'Well Done Cris for Today' ((Hugs))

Hi Cris, wow had some catching up to do with your life ..

The docs appointment sounded helpful, clearly your letter after last time worked.

Not enough oxygen in your blood - no wonder you are shattered - think of mountain climbers struggling as the air get thinner and there is less available oxygen. Is there nothing they can do to improve this? Is this what the drip helps with? People who have sleep apnea sometimes wear a mask to give them more oxygen at night - would something like this give you a more refreshing night's sleep? You could ask at the pain clinic -might be a daft idea, might not.

I have no idea re ideas for peeling veg - but they do say that frozen and tinned veg (Iris has a fab tin opener) still count towards your 5 a day ... Do you eat fruit? You could cook veg in a microwave - plastic containers, very little water needed - so lighter or how about getting a billy can from a camping shop - it would have a bucket style handle - they come in all sizes (ie boy scout's pan for one!) so might be easier to lift - if you bought a cheap one it would probably be lighter too.

Dont even sit in the armchair tonight - tumble into bed even if you don't undress.

    Take care,

    Speedy
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hi Cris - can you get referred to adult social care?? The OT referred me and I had a visit from a lovely, young!! Gentleman who assessed me and my home and needs and then came back about 3 weeks later with equipment that I can use :!:

Eg - a chair that slops, special cutlery, something to help me undo bottles and jars etc! And it is all free :!: :!: Worth a try?

Sun was here for a while today - but then we had big rain drops :(

Am glad that the doc listened to you - are you going to listen to your body and not be too hard on yourself :?: But arent we all like that sometimes

please take care of yourself. (((((((hugs))))))))

    HI Cris,

wow! I've just been trying to catch up having not been on the computer myself for a couple of days.

Sorry to see you are feeling so tired ..... I know how much of a struggle it is to do anything when you feel like that, and knowing that you have to must make it even more of a struggle.

I wish I had some good advice for you but I can't think of anything to add to what has already been said.

so instead I am sending littlelegs with her best 'wake up' tonic (I dare you to sleep through her jumping all over you insisting it is time to get up :lol::lol: ) and loads of love and hugs from us both.

hope the pain clinic gives you some answers and some welcome relief.

    hugs
    WOnky

    Hi Iris,

Sorry I am late getting back to you, the joys of babysitting....

Smudge has quite a severe stare there and you know mine have the sane look  What is it about ferals?"!:lol:

Forgot to tell you we also talked about xrays and erosion..... She was saying cus the amount of xrays and scans I have had she wouldn't be happy to send me for one until all this inflammation is gone... they maybe a bit blurred cus of all the fluid. I should like to know about possible erosion (she said there might be) but will wait for the mtx (or something) to work and get the fluid down! One thing both her and the rumo agree there is no doubt I have pa :lol: So obvious eh?!

Hugs and a cuppa and end me the loons please? xxx

    Hi Kim,

I hope your soon feeling much better this endless sleep stuff just isn't nice is it? ((( ))) xx

    Hi Tilly,

Oh now they I should wake up for :lol: Bin lids... I would hope I could hear  Least i got out of the chair last night... did dose first though and will maybe take the cushion out so its very uncomfortable, mind it is anyway  Hope your doing ok and sending a ((( ))) and a cuppa. Cris xx

    Hi Speedy,

That's what the drip does, it widens everything so for a few weeks I have the corrected sized circulation system. That's why I feel much better a few days after its finished, wished for a bit as I have to make up the blood first.

Hey someone said I can have their old slow cooker now that could help eh?! Bit of white stew and I might give up eggs for a week  I can't eat fruit, occasionally get away with an apple but not too often. Crohn's and food are not best mates

Never thought to microwave veg..... thanks for that one, I don't know why I didn't think of it  Will have a look at some peelers and hope this new increase of tablets will give me back some of the strength etc in my hands at lease.

Hope your dong ok? ((( ))) xx

    Hi Louise,

Will ask about o/t tomorrow. Hey what is tis wet stuff doing here again!?! Where did summer go? The increased mtx will help... or not....:lol: Have you ever been told you won't get funding for anything else flower? The rumo told me I had better hope it does work as there is nothing I will get funding for if it doesn't.... xx

    Hi Wonky,

Please send her down for tomorrow and Thursday :D Mind he said he jumped all over me and it still took a while to wake me today.... Not like Sunday though  Hope your feeling better now and sending a ((((( )))))) and slurps xx

    Hi DD,

Oh never unplug the music  Bit less tired today so that's a big step forward and didn't spend all night in the chair though sleep doesn't seem to be refreshing eh? Winding up the volume as ever... :D xx

Sorry Joan and Barbara didn't see you  You are right Joan it all gets harder and the buckets get heavier and heavier all the time... now had the lodgers not taken the wheel from the sack truck..... Mind I got something that will mend that so will you give us a hand please to do it? xx

Barbara thanks ever so for the peeler stuff, will go have a look in a min :D xx

Sleep never refreshes one who has PA. Believe me, I know! Track 7 is the winner by a country mile, wailing bint and all!

Go slowly over the next few days hun, please. Take dachshund's advice, a little and often, with a good rest in between. You are sounding more up-beat now, and that is a wondrous thing. Thinking of you: I have to go to work now. Poo. Don't want to. I'm not in the mood. DD

Carrying stuff is a bind, isn't it? Our sitting room is upstairs, so if I have to ferry two cuppas it's put one on the stair 3-4 up, hold the other, climb the first stair, second stair, put the cup I'm holding 3-4 stairs up, climb the next, pick up the one originally on the stair and move it 3-4 steps up, etc etc etc. No wonder the days fly past!
