Hi Cris, Hope you are in the land of Nod.
Fingers crossed that the car is back to good behaviour.
Not long now to the appointment in Sept. I know you dread it but at least you will get the boost you so badly need.
Got to be some sunshine soon.
Sending hugs I really hope your appt for the pain clinic comes through soon.

Hope you are sleeping in your bed now Cris, and I should be in mine too ...
Good night, hope the rain holds off, this humid weather shifts and you have a reasonable day tomorrow.
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Hi Marion, I, Luise and Speedy,
Nope didn't get to bed... whole night in the chair but I did wake up at 3.40 and almost got up yet it's an early start today (hey Louise sun! and the sale isn't cancelled! after yesterday I did think it might be  ) For some reason I started chairing it earl yesterday...... most the afternoon I spent asleep in it as well..... I have o idea whats making me sleep so much but I do wish it wold stop!
Marion it was a bit tmi.... its not nice though and does frighten me  Not much health things do now a days but that one is so evil if it kicks off. Hope work is going ok for you still? The increased hours I hope aren't wiping you out are they? xx
Hi I,
So far its been good but there is a bit of trust issue for now..... Need to give it a run without the lights and wipers on as maybe today I will be bale to as its sunny! Its actually sunny..... Mind there is somewhere I got to go first I shall go load it up after this cuppa... or maybe the next cuppa It sends a hug to Jessie but I can't help thinking she could teach it something about reliability! Probably fuel consumption too xx
Hi Louise,
Oh flower I hope you haven't got my old doctors! Depending on which bit your in it can't be that far from here so you got sun today! Surprisingly cloud free.... but..... seen the forecast for later  I think it needs to be re-named the web feet area The sheeps are down in a TR area and they have less rain... Bless them they went there when this was under offer but it fell through (can't think why )
The rave..... I should love to have one! We are going to have an arthritic rave someday When I was younger there weren't any and I always think I missed out so in my second childhood Hope you have a good day? xx
Hi Speedy,
I think I shall put big spikes in the top bit so if I put my head back to fall asleep it really hurts This neck just hates aremchairing...... I honestly do wake in blinding pain and paralyzed... then I remember I have to move the neck but have to use the hands cus it wont move its self cus it hurts too much..... Have bents it and stretched it into some kind of compliance and now off to lad the car. You have a good day and hope S and you are getting some more outings in for a min? xx
If anyone see's me snoring i this chair again today please kick me....hard!0 -
Morning Cris
you must be so sore all over after another night in the chair.
will have to come down and take the chair away or get you one that expels you out of it after a certain time of night.
have made you a cuppa with honey in and put a wheat wrap in the microwave ....for you neck...not for eating. hope the sun continues to shine and the sales are kind to you today.
Iris x0 -
Thanks Iris, your right about the ache Why do I keep doing this! I have gone from partial insomnia to all out sleep in weeks
Ta for the wheat wrap, could you give me a hand to get this concrete body warmer off please? I keep telling my self its just oversensitivity to pain..... but..... still hurts Doped up now and must get moving......
You have a good day flower and shall send you a coffee at some point.... xx0 -
Hello skezier, I guess you are out and about by now so I hope you are coping OK. No doubt we will hear from you later, so in the meantime I send you these - ((())) and I am thinking of you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD,
Survived the sale and don't feel as wished today so maybe its getting better..... well it has to at some point eh?! Please help remind me I sleep in a bed not the chair tonight cus I still haven't recovered and have had a twitching hand, pins and needles and a finger that keeps leaping.... thankfully downwards as its the index one
Hope your feeling less teasy today and had a reasonable night? Your getting good at these hugs flower and much appreciated they are as well. From some silly childhood issue I likes hugs (my mother never once would! i always believed they would help )
hey still got sunish, being a bit challenged by the rain thing but....... and making a cuppa if you would like one? ((( ))) xx0 -
I am gasping for a cuppa. I am pain-challenged today, big-time-styley. ugh. It dunnarf get one down sometimes, never mind, I'll get it sorted. We went out last night for a curry with some friends. The curry house is a five minute walk from ours, for those who can walk. It took me and R 20 minutes last night, I was moving soooooo bl***y slowly. Two bus stops gave the opportunity for a nice sit-down, which helped. Strewth. Past it at the age of 51. Not a good feeling! Lovely cuppa, thankyer. Are you OK? GO TO BED TONIGHT, or even now so that you don't armchair. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD,
I am sorry flower these flares and no response to meds is guaranteed to send us spiralling here and there. I tell you what you drink this cuppa and there's a bit of quiche if you would like it and I will go fix a safety net under you so you can't spiral too far...... deal?
Hey I am fine except for the tiredness... the pain... the swelling and the twitching..... oh and have a very bruised ego as well.... I was asked by 2 different people if I was claiming pension credits Doesn't do you much good when they show shock at the age now where did I put the hair dye xx0 -
Good grief Penfold! I guess it's all taking its toll. I have naturally blonde hair, darkening a little now, but really streaked with silver. I don't mind, I ain't gonna hide it, it lightens the blonde anyway!
We're battening down the hatches here: we have some truly foul weather promised for tonight, driving rain, strong winds, it's very muggy now and getting dark. I guess that's not helping my mood, or, perhaps, the inflammation. My knees feel as tho they weight a ton! Oh, I grabbed half of dorcas' dandelion, I'm sure she won't mind! OUr secret, yes? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi DD,
I wont tell her if you don't
Moods are the hardest thing to keep a hold on I find but thankfully my natural is insanity and it helps me to drift off and come back feeling better..... Have you ever tried visualization? I stuck the arthritis and another problem in a hamster ball.... it really helps though i know it may not sound like it!?! I visualize too much probably but having got a hold on what arthritis looked like it was easy to put it in the hamster ball..... I did try to kill it actually but sadly it kept coming back... now it rolls about but it can't get me!
I do drift to a bad place now and then but on the table in the cell I have a stereo and that shakes me to find the door..... I have to say i prefer to go to the meadow
Nets tight under you now so you will bounce back up. hey that for cast... we got similar coming in tonight... can't wait  xx
Oh the circulation thing means my body hasn't aged well and I started gong grey at 13.... now I am kinda white!  :roll:0 -
You do make me laugh - insanity is your natural mood! You are one quirky woman, skezier.
I like the idea of the hamster ball: I just take myself off into a whole other world. It's a nicer world than the one I live in - I still have arthritis in my other world, just nowhere near as badly! I should be clearing our bomb site of a kitchen, but I cannot be harrised (family-speak for an anal variation of bothered). I ma in need of one of my French gaspers, however, so I will go and have that and tackle the kitchen after. Have you heard from frogmorton? I am leaving her alone, I is a good girl. I is also missing her. Very much. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Oh Cris
Good job indeed that your index finger is pointing downwards!
Don't worry about the pension credits comment ... I was walking the dogs today and met a woman I hadn't seen for many months and she said she had seen someone else with my dogs (ie the dog walker) and had thought I must have DIED!!!!! I knew I looked rough/old before my hip op but I didn't realise I looked that bad!
Glad you sound a bit better today Cris..
Marion x0 -
Hi DD,
Disappearing is a good plan! I missing her as well.... Just heard from her and hate the 30 degree in sun!! Bless her they have earned it and well s soon as this front has gone through (it arrived here by the way  ) maybe the sun will condescend to come out?! xx
Hi Marion,
Sorry that made me laugh.... no body said that to me yet The pain clinic doc keeps telling me pain ages you......
I am a bit less tired today and I haven't had to fight to stay awake o maybe I needed all that sleep yesterday?! I must g to bed tonight though as I have so much pain You reckon that will remind me
Soon as I had this cuppa its chicken and sheep time and then I might be in danger of armchairing...... Kick me if I do please? Cris xx0 -
Hi Cris
My daughter fell about laughing too when I told her! Good job I'm thick skinned!
Cris - do you sleep ON a duvet? I have a memory foam mattress topper but also find sleeping on top of a (cheap) duvet is really soothing for my joints/bones..
Just a thought..
Love
Marion x0 -
Hi Marion,
Been sleeping on one for years and got one of those imitation fleece things and well. Started it cus its warmer and I do eel the cold and don't have central heating  Don't know as I should want it either but could do with easier fires
I am sitting bolt upright (makes the back hurt a lot s should keep me awake for a second )
You have a good night flower and hope tomorrow goes well for you. ((( ))) Cris xx0 -
Hi Cris, Hope the bad weather misses you tonight.
Did you see the programme tonight with the horses?
Glad you are in the straight back chair, no peeking at the armchair now
Sleep well Cris,
Sending loads of very gentle hugs.
Lv,Ix0 -
Hi I,
Just real heavy rain ....... Its like a monsoon... I was walking around in it earlier and got soaked. Caused by total stupidity and I might pay tomorrow... with pneumonia I actually 'lost' Haz only I hadn't I'd locked him in the car......
I saw the end of it but also recorded it..... I have that kind f trust with the lodgers and its nice! I will sit and watch the bit I didn't see tomorrow as the armchair is calling and I started yawning.... That's the warning sign now a days You have a good night and I promise bed tonight as my neck will not do another day after armchairing it...... even if the lumber would and I don't think that's up for it either ((( ))) Cris xx0 -
Hi Cris
Hope you are IN the BED by now, and if not WHY not?? Sorry am I shouting a bit. Glad you got a sale out of the way and do hope you are feeling less tired. Sorry you have a twitch to add to the collection there. Really do hope you feel a tad better tomorrow.
Say hi to Toni, when you can, hope she is having a good time. If she can log on anywhere tell her I will pm her the BB news, oops I think I just came out of the closet there. What a saddo I am.
Been sunny here so the shop was quiet, thank goodness and the hip co-operated today so don't be worrying bout me.
Sending some decent kip vibes your way, and buckets of hugs to you and the critters. (((( )))))
love
Chris xx0 -
Hi Cris and Chris,
Just wanted to say goodnite to you both. No rain here today so that made a change.
Off to bed as I overslept today which is almost never heard of. Ususally wondering the halls every nite. Must have needed it.
Lv, Ix0 -

Cris
I have a hammer and I am not afraid to use it.
GO TO BED, please pretty please. I am now taking my own advise and shoving the lappie on the floor. Will have to try and catch up elsewhere tomorrow me eyes are half shut. Can I leave a hug for DD here, I know she will be checking on you tomorrow. Hang in there DD. ((((( ))))
Hope you do get some restful sleep if you can Cris and that the neck isn't too bad in the morning. Will look in tomorrow if I can. Hi Ironic, hope you are snuggled up now.
sleep well all.
Chris xx0 -
Morning girls, thanks for the hugs! When I went to bed last night it was definitely August, this morning it appears to be November. Have I done a woodbon and lost my mind? Have I done a skezier and slept for three months? Gawd knows. It's dark, it's tipping it down, the patch of ground under our dining room window is about 4" deep in water: I think I will hoover out my wellies, I shall need them later when I go out.
Skezier, I hope you a) dried off properly and b) made it to bed. I thought you would be without central heating, but do you have an electric fire or bottled gas one? As you were soaked thro you have to be so careful - I guess I don't need to tell you that but . . . . . you looking after you is not guaranteed! I know: pretend you are a horse, or a sheepsie, any form of animal apart from human, then you'll take better care of you!
chris7, I'm glad work wasn't too bad yesterday and I hope you slept well last night. Good luck for this week, I shall try to remember to say 'Hi!' from time to time! Hear from you on Thursday, perhaps. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi Cris,
Hope you are behaving and getting into bed!!! i have been reading that armchair of yours is keeping you trapped!!
You need to rest lying down . Chop off the arms of your arm chair lol make him uncomfortable and less inviting. Hard though isnt it when your cream crackered .
Have a good one today and i think you will be needing your wellies.
Rose x0 -
Hi Chris, DD and Rose,
I got to bed  UI nearly didn't but wasn't quite as tired as last night... am this morning though  I shall go put some rails up (why do the lodgers have to keep taking stuff down?!) that might wake me more.
Hey we were lucky, the rain stopped and its not ultra wet on the ground so except for a bit of a stiff breeze is more like October than winter today... that's kinda an improvement on last week
DD I got solid, gas and oil fires. It gets warm enough and I really feel the cold bug time so can make it akin to a green house
Rose its not a comfy chair to begin with I have this theory you know your backs rubbish when the only thing you can sit in is a Queen Anne
Right leaving a bit of saffron and hevva for you Chris and a hope work was okish. Cris xx0
