Hi Cris,
Hope you had a sleep your bed last night. I think you should have one of those old fashioned and very loud alarm clocks set for 11 or 12 midnight or whatever by the side of your armchair to wake you up enough to go to bed . Is your living room big or small? You could have a chaise longue (sp?) or a bed settee or whatever in there too - so if you just can't bear going to bed you can have a kip somewhere more comfy.
Must go and collect S from his playscheme in 10 mins ... hope he has had a good time.
Speedy
PS meant to say something else, can't remember now ...
Marion your story made me laugh too ... fancy that woman admitting that to you!!I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Well? Truth please. Did you make it to bed last night? Oh I hope so, and I hope you slept well and that things are OK-ish, if not even OK, today. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi peeps
Cris's still got no broadband but says she'll try again later.
Bones have been aching all day so Cris said she will try for an early night so not to worry if we don't hear from her til tomorrow.
I told her everyone was asking for her on this thread and CC.

Thanks Iris:
Hi Cris: Hope you get some rest in 'them there bones' tonight.
I thought about you this afternoon as I was watching a Vet programme and there was a chicken on that had 'egg peritonitis' - it had a lot of fluid/stomatch swelling. Apparently the egg had gone 'the wrong way'.. The Vet spayed it (which apparently is a very tricky operation) to resolve the problem.

Thank You Iris
We do worry about her bless, i hope she is getting some quality sleep.

I've just had a text from her: she is tired, made it to bed last night but took her pregabalin too late. Her cold is in her throat and chest, and she has upped her meth, so is feeling rough. It is very, very wet there, she is considering buidling an ark. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks DD - do send her our love when you next 'speak'
and Littlelegs is on her way down to Cornwall complete with tool box having spent yesterday constructing our own Ark so Cris won't be on her own

Of course I will. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD
please give her my love too.
hope the chest trouble and cold go fairly quickly .

Thanks Iris and DD, for keeping us informed.
Glad you made it up to bed Cris - sounds like you need to stay there. Of course if you did build and ark and get all the animals on board, it would save you dashing around putting the hens to bed etc and would protect you all from the elements ... not sure about the mucking out though ... could throw out the muck through the portholes??!

Had a text at about 2pm. She is babysitting (humans or animals?) and playing the Sims. Having a whale of a time, apparently and yes, it's wet there. Very. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Cris, This awful weather is getting out of hand now.
All together..Rain Rain go away,
Hope things improve for you tomorrow. Good luck with the MTX, fingers crossed it works for you. Rotten that the cold has come back.
Really hope you have sorted some veggi stew out for yourself. You need comfort food at a time like this. As well as CDM
Sending lots of hugs and tissues.

I forgot! I texted skez earlier, it is not so wet there, even a little sunny, but she has started building an ark. She slept OK last night, in bed, so that is a good thing. She was able to make contact briefly this morning then it all went wrong again. She is mighty fed up about that, but says she will keep trying. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks DD - give her my love if you are in touch with her again..
