Morning Toady how are you today?

We need some American boxes it seems🤨interesting.....Well done sorting something for the nosegay parcel. I am very stressed at the prospect of the 'shove it in' drawers of which there are 3😣 help me!!! The saucepan drawer is great though I am so proud and yes one of the drawers I did was the cutlery one it's spotless! The process will resume this week for both of us.

Just one cardigan this time in the charity bag just one. Be brave.

Oh dear imagine someone doing that to you mid loft lowering of ming vases😣 I really do think you should have echoed a spooky voice from above down to them. HAH!!!!🤭

Yes black buns! Beautiful black buns we have just a few here in the village. I always thought maybe once many generations back a pet bun escaped into the wild. We have known people not from the village driving through trying to 'rescue' one. As you can imagine epic fail!

I will continue to try to photograph them probably in the summer I may succeed 🤞

i had an Irish friend when I was working at the unnamed college at one point, I guessed she was Irish from her name, she said when she moved down south, she decided to speak in a more neutral accent as it mean she encountered less prejudice, I find that somewhat saddening

ides of March I see, well I can safely say I’ve settled my debts, although I almost bought a massive gingerbread bunny from Cost a packet, then remembered high sugar content just in time, otherwise I’d have had to sell everything I own on nosegay to balance my books lol - could have raised 25 p maybe lol

Hope you have had a good day frog, mine had been quite productive so far, although windows decided to rearrange a folder of mine just as I sat down to start a nice little poke about online, so that was that bit of time down the drain while I sorted it. I meant to say yesterday, about the mobile phone replacement situation, yes I have a backup plan and this being me it's quite complicated 😂 will let you know, post-auction in a few days. Anyway it was rather nice earlier! really was, tidied up a bit outdoors, put in some chard, potted on some pansies and generally played at cold frames 😊. Well done having a lovely cutlery drawer 👍️ I hope you have had relatively little truck with cutlery today and that everyone has been bringing you nice cups of tea and hopefully not too humorous gifts to go with the humorous cards. I was going to say I hope Sleek brought you a present too but actually let's not think what that might be 😱. Hope everyone well and you have had some sun 🌞. btw going back to phones have you seen this story? 😮 I don't think I want 6 phones turned on the day they do this! I mean all well & good, but will sound whether you have the volume down or not, and won't be able to proceed til you acknowledge it, it's a bit much imo. Have a good start to the week :) xx

Hi bosh, that hair 😂 I will pass on the centre parting but actually the 'wild bits of foliage effect', I could get behind (as they say). That gothic window is my idea of perfection, just imagine if no-one had ever thought up gothic windows & architecture! they are just so right looking, I would never have come up with them, thank goodness someone did 😍 and the ivy is fantastic of course. Talking of heaven or rather the road to the other place, next door have a Wishing Well, well that explains a lot 😱😂. Hope all went well with the EF and very funny about LA being social secretary and strict about sis's visit 😄 lovely making cards at that age, theirs sound great 🤩. Well done resisting the gingerbread bunny, if I were to put temptation in your way I might mention there are 10 winning tokens out there in certain gold foiled wrapped choc bunnies, you could always buy one, add the prize money to your 25p and donate the choc to a friend 😉. Yes joking aside emails with tempting choc or other offers are tricky aren't they I don't want to unsub from things altogether necessarily but I do get too many really. Right, I must print out another letter and get it to the box in a bit, if I see any saturated bats you will be the first to know 😄 ..then it will be time to start writing Easter cards 🙄 eek. Re the news story I mentioned to frog, it would have helped if I posted the link 🙄 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64999417 so anyone that hasn't seen this; the govt will be testing their new 'warning of flood fire plague & pestilence' alarm on the 23rd April on (apparently) everyone's mobile phone - might want to make a note, I don't think anyone wants to be mid-injecting themselves at the time 😮.

Sleek brought me one of her lattes in bed at 4am. Stood on my bladder to ensure I was awake enough to drink it! Luckily no small deceased creatures I think she really is past all that malarkey.

I had flowers, a voucher for next and some 'normal' cards😁 Paul and I were able to sneak off to Buxton to have lunch out and back before anyone appeared so a good day.

Probably a day in the garden would have suited me much, much better. You did really well I am so envious! This week is set to be a silly busy one again. Never mind I'll survive I usually do.

I'm very pleased to hear there is a plan B for the phone situation. I'll wait and see after the auction.

One of Sue’s carers has long Covid she’s leaving because the work is affecting her health she has a job to go to it’s a cleaner in the hospital and she gets £5 an hour more it upset her to think a cleaner got more than a carer. Glad you had a nice day yesterday frog even if your garden was calling you with a siren song 😂 it does sound to have been a good plan to make a nifty exit with Paul on your own, and you were lucky to get a nice day I assume as much better to have the Buxton spa water rising up where it should be and none falling as rain like poor bosh's sailor-suited children. Bit dull today not so nice by far. Have done v little really but sometimes that's just the way of it after a busier previous day. I hope your busy week is mixed things not just obligations etc. Yes you're right it is St George's Day on the 23rd (I never know these things), you don't think the govt knows there will be dragons about do you 🤨. I couldn't quite take in what I was reading at the time about the alarm, the news being more & more like spoof news all the time anyway. I think I'll be turning all mine off thank you 'big bro'. Talking of which hope all's going well with yours (is he big bro though or little bro?). I meant to say the other day, yes I only know of nice Lucies too, interesting how that is. We had lots of Lorraines and Julies in my day and none of them were that nice mind you nice schoolgirls were a bit of a minority, one good reason I never really looked any of them up on 'friends' reunited 😂 only v occasional curiosity like a lot of people. Hello joan, no garden today, it is a bit dismal really. I might try & plant a few hasty seeds indoors later. Did you also hear on the news that the govt want to reshuffle the bin collection system and come more often for all sorts of different recycling bins, that sounds like fun 🙄. One auction is tomorrow for me & keeping an eye on another one the next day, I'll let you know how I get on - it's awkward being without 1 or 2 apps in particular without it, especially ones you need to get newfangled codes to log into websites etc 🙄. Hi bosh, your mum couldn't be totally restrained from excess cooking then I expect you weren't totally surprised you can only try. Glad things not too bad at the moment. Not much going on with me today at all. Maybe a walk later? I was just saying to Toni about schoolgirls, like you mentioned you knew a nice Lucy, and also meant to say about how your college type friend toned her accent down, yes that's always a pity if it's to fit in 😔 you'd think people would maybe do it less now, and it's become more likely than it used to be for anyone to get jobs, or tv and radio work for example in fact it's probably gone full circle. We moved around a lot and I didn't really have an accent so didn't fit in with everyone that did! You do find after a while you pick up bits of local accent even without meaning, then you move and it all changes again. The good thing (I think) about that was you get a bit of perspective because you look at things like being really big supporters of regional traditions and sports teams &c from an outside view and don't take any of it very seriously. V funny about ETL, yes thank goodness you were in time to stop your mum fanning the flames with Leola too 😂 nice use of Lady M quote. Have a good evening I might get a walk later who knows. he’s the one whose dad wrote his dissertation for him, lol so not exactly the brains behind any part of London I believe 😂, his dad is a science professor, so looks like the intellect “skipped” a generation lol, I’m all for skipping ads, but that’s maybe a “skip too far”, I wonder what happens to skipped intelligence though, maybe it ventures into outer space “ to boldly skip where no one / no entity has ever skipped before” it’s not impossible

We had a burst water pipe yesterday in the basement which is like our loft. Of course it was full of stuff; from photographs to the Christmas tree. Had to have an emergency plumber out which costs an arm and a leg and threw loads of stuff out because it had been leaking, I think, before it burst for some time🙄 Today I hope it's dry outside so I can get some stuff out there to dry off.

I see you managed your walk yesterday. I failed - too busy bailing out!!!

LA is wonderful he says exactly what any of us would love to! He even renders Big Babu 😶 silent😁I rather thing he knows too much bread = big bellies!

It's very windy here, but not raining yet so will try to have my walk ASAP.

If you read my post to Bosh and you'll see what happened here yesterday. I need to get washed sleeping bags etc outside to dry.

I thought the alarm news would be genuine and actually quite a good idea if they can do it without setting off alarms in other countries like if you were on holiday in Spain for instance.

My week is by far mostly obligations unfortunately and not what I want at all. Helping at the soup lunch here in the village making soup, setting up and serving people. Then probably clearing up too🙄One duty but a good one is taking my lovely neighbour to the hospital for cataract procedure on Thursday. He is an intelligent and interesting man whose company is always a pleasure to be in. I will drive steadily.

You had a less busy day yesterday yourself i see. You're right it does often happen that a recovery time is needed.

My bro is much bigger than me, but younger Kari is the eldest I am middle (woe is me) Bless him he is doing extremely well now, ditched his crutches and can go up stairs well. Down steadier. He is even going into work for short periods. Sitting is still a bit uncomfortable, but he is much happier. Thanks for asking.

Paul's sister is a Julie she is very nice. We had a vile Stephanie so i am prejudiced against all Stephanies😁 I know it's mad, but you will be the same with Lorraines and Julies I bet! You think girls were not nice when we were at school they are ten times worse now😕 Anti bullying policies my behind!

V cheap anyway, couple of bidders but nobody fought me for it (no idea why people bid someone up to their max & then wander off, when they now know what would be the winning amount). Yes the govt siren is not a bad thing ofc, I am just getting more resistant to things being pressed upon me, for my own good or otherwise - so if there's a Martian invasion, that's my lookout if I don't know, isn't it 😄👽️. Hello joan, I have won one auction, thank you 😊 so I will just keep an eye on the other and if it goes too high won't bother. I made a sale too so that's something fairly bulky out of the house and will use some surplus boxes & packaging up 😀. our shower had been playing up for a long time too on and off, but dad being his stingy self didn’t do anything about it until it got dramatically bad, he wouldn’t let mum or I organise a plumber either 🤷‍♀️

I had egg noodles with my chicken, but there were lots of nice vegan options as there are nowadays.

It was extremely filling though I’m feeling very full

I intend to go to the group tomorrow, but a little bit earlier than usual as my dad is dropping me before his blood test so now I’m a bit tired and there’s not much time

so according to my extensive research you can apply for 3 headed moon goddess course to cut out the middle - warlock or whoever cheaper in long run good investment etc but hidden charges include extra fees for each new goddess head and for scary -eye - contact lenses that create a sort of killer look effect.
