Hi all 👋 nice quiet cup of tea please 😊☕️

Got all my deliveries and stuff over with by 3 which was good. Groceries were mid morning so that left me a window to do a coat of paint, just about. I know what you're thinking, I am going to say that the neighbours turned up 5 minutes into starting again and put me right off my (brush)strokes, but you would be quite wrong boys & girls, they turned up 5 minutes before I finished and put me off instead 🙄. I heard the van door & said aloud to myself "oh lor' I hope that's not the drug man" 😂, don't think they would have heard - but if so perhaps they might have 2nd thoughts about the sort of neighbourhood & move somewhere else 🤨. Anyway one coat of paint to go for good measure and I'm out of there. Hope the finger is sorting itself out nicely, I see that I have to be careful not to be no. 3 😬 eek. Hope you will at least be able to sit in the garden & admire things & plan things even though we're not really the sitting type 😣 do your best. Not getting any more bites either hopefully. I have found 2 fleas in the house the last few days 😱 oh dear not as bad as the alleged Parisian bedbug outbreak but I don't want these little blighters either. Sleek is entirely above suspicion, I hardly need say 😽 looks like I'm more likely to give them to her! I shall try not to. Knots are one thing! No doughnuts in my today's shop but she would probably accept a viennese chocolate bic? Hope everything ok with you today & everyone, btw it's clocks back not forward but same effect as you say, lighter mornings 😀 darker evenings.. 😫. Have a good weekend :) xx

Hello joan, I have got all my stuff done with today, I have to pack a little ebay parcel to be picked up tomorrow but it's only easy. I meant to say yesterday about the plan to raise the smoking age, that you mentioned, that would be good and I hope it does mean people don't even start one day. In the meantime they will try to get around it I expect but would be lovely to just call time on the tobacco industry. Have a good weekend love to Sue :) xx

Not much happening with me today I have had my medication delivery (drivers don't half vary, some remind you to put it in the fridge this one couldn't have been less bothered. Never know either why they say your name and get you to confirm, surely they should ask you, anyone can say yes that's my name 🤷‍♀️and then skip off to the dark web with illicit biologics to sell (ok, unlikely 😄). I have a very small nosegay parcel to send only pocket money but perhaps having one customer will encourager les autres haha. Have a good evening 👋 :) xx

Yikes keef, not the curse of the finger 😱 I know Loanda likes her garden gothic but blood-soaked planters, is probably too far 😬. Sorry it was mid-job & v annoying if you can't get on with it how you would like (looks around at all my half & un-started projects 😕 frustrating, innit). I will be careful if I am doing anything, should be safe enough with the paint at the moment. I did get on ok with the 'wonder stuff' (not the band on this occasion bosh, they weren't on today's playlist), it's quite gloopy actually so doesn't seem to have a thinning effect, I did feel it kept the wet edge better & the paint workable 🤔 but I might just have had better mojo today, I'd have to control test it really. Love to family have as good weekend as poss :) xx

Anyone follow F1? I gave up on it after the terrible race management at the final round 2 years ago, and I’ve just heard on radio news that Verstappen is on verge of taking the championship again, 3 times in a row.

That reminds me I’ve got 2 months worth of WSBK and MotoGP to catch up on. I subscribe to the world feed for those so really should get around to watching them but every free second has been spent playing guitar lately.

Can you do that planter? Maybe....but you have to do it in far smaller goes. Maybe only one panel a day. I think you are a bit of a 'boom and bust' kind of man maybe? I think because you used to be able to work all day you still want to?

You are safe from the curse of the cut finger! All is well. I saw the photo yesterday of my friend's sister's it's an ouch indeed she had a few stitches. A new knife and some burger rolls being the culprit.

Sleek should be safe from any fleas she has 3 monthly drops on the back of her neck bless her so don't worry. I have used household flea spray in the past you can get it from pets at home. The little blighters live outside in the grass and apparently can lay dormant in our houses for years before deciding to hatch!

I've had a chat and yes a Viennese chocolate biscuit will be more than acceptable apparently.

he and his brother made an enormous mess in their bedroom- they put Lego all over the floor - mum called it “ a lovely mess” lol, but it was poor sis who had to clear it up

Just flicking through some of my song library whilst Sucré playing in bath after I’ve cleaned him. Found Lazy Song by Bruno Mars. Me and him watch the vid on utube and it’s the band with monkey masks on, he’s had me play it about 6 times in a row now. Monkey Song Monkey Song daddy!!!!

today we were talking about the number of drones on paw patrol. He said there are twelve, i said wow that’s a lot. He held up both hands and said 2 more than ten. He’s not even 3yo yet.

i feel very chilled and relaxed for the first time in a long time. Might be the Lazy Song or the drugs, maybe a bit of both.

Despite the pain we’ve had a lovely family day today, the sort of days a family man would cherish. I’m not a family man but i just do the best i can.

Paying the price for a busy day yesterday so v much a composite of cream-crackered bosh and overdoing-it keef 🙄 would settle for 'onesie & plate of bics' kitty's lifestyle, at least it's able to keep its eyes open & watch tv which is more than I can tonight.

It was such a warm day too and you probably rested. Did Sleek tell you about the incident below? I bet she did and brought you a cuppa and some biccies?

All is well here except a dreadful experience yesterday. Paul and I saw a badly injured cat dragging herself into a hedge. We managed to raise her owner and between us we managed to get her into her cat box and her owner went off to the vet with her. I really really am still upset about her I hope she's ok. Sleek has been to check but will only say she's had surgery. That's what cats do they hide to die - if we had been 2 minutes later she would have died in there and her lovely owner would never have known where she was. Oh just awful😒 Paul thinks she will be ok it looked like a broken leg.

I had to rush home and check on my puss.

Hehehe! Don't blame teh tarmackers I expect they warned everyone to move their cars!!!! Penelope is safely in the garage with Paul's cars. Will test the drive tonight!

I had the veg burger and fruit juice takeaway today - but not too much fruit juice- it was really nice

LA told mum that men are almost fully bald sometimes as lice eat their hair from the roots, “ like what happened with BB” as he put it lol, lice are everywhere it seems then!! Have the lice been eating so much R Brek blended with Polyfilla that they’ve achieved immortality? Oh dear- best to hide out in the as yet not -infected VC then, my place is under the bed with bananas / choc bars, oh GI Joe is confusing me again haha.

So it’s Sunday again. Sucré off to nannie’s house. He been a little bit funny about whether or not he wants to go. No one moment, yes the next. I would love him to stay with me whilst Loanda works but I must admit I do enjoy a bit of time on my own to play some music (which always makes me feel guilty) but I’m just not capable of having him on my own especially if a migraine starts which as you know happens regularly unfortunately, I’ve ridden over with them this evening which he is very happy about. I guess I do always put them first. I could have been home alone now enjoying peace and quiet lol.

Nice evening for a ride though. Can’t believe it’s October. I even had to put the aircon on in the bunker today. Oh and my front tyre seems to not be leaking air any more after having that new one fitted. Must have been not settled on rim completely. A few miles has put that right. Very happy about that, hate it when anything wrong with bike!

Such a nice day, hate to waste a nice day feeling grumpy I'll soon have something to be grumpy about when it's cold. Oh well got a lineful of washing done and had a chat to Mr Speckly, that's about it 😄. Mowers & strimmers everywhere in force needless to say so any thoughts of a quiet time in the garden relaxing and reading improving literature is off 🙄. No wildlife to be seen frog, just robin, that's about it for the 'regulars'. So so sorry about the poor cat 😥 I am crossing everything it'll be alright🤞 poor you too seeing anything like that is so upsetting, 'lucky' you were there, but awful. Hope you had a good day out, Sleek will fill me in on all the news next visit. Funnily enough I was watching a back episode of Doctor Who this afternoon and Jammie Dodgers were mentioned, you may wish to pass that on to her, as I seem to be out 😉. Have a good Monday it will be nice again apparently 🌞 I did go and dig over a bit of border as it needs a going over and rethink, so I suppose I did something, hope the fingers lets you 'join' me soon in the garden.

Hi bosh, I have just translated your previous reply to me re nosegay, I got the vague gist but 'mefiez-vous' I didn't recognize at all (good verb! I like it). A Beware of the Toad sign on the door might be good for unwanted callers but fr. for toad is the rather unfortunate 'crapaud' as you may know, would not look very good on a sign would it 😔, shame. Also 'flaneur' I only know because there is a slightly hipster magazine of that name, which I have never bought, so that helped me out. LA on nosegay 😱😱 oh, what a thought that is! Would he make a worse buyer or seller, hard to say. Probably a seller, because if anyone criticized anything he sold to them I can imagine he would probably write pages of cross responses to their feedback including personal insults about hair loss and lice 😂. Glad things not too bad with you today and your mum is feeling better, hopefully if it was just the shoulder pain and it's better she will be less easily upset. Thank you for the anti-neighbour spell it seems to be working they haven't been here all weekend which was a big help 👍️ could you augment it to include the local cats, who are currently scrapping in the back garden by the sounds of it 🤨. I have one more story, this time it’s about BR, he saw bill wearing some of the brightly and oddly coloured shirts, I think this time at was an unsightly orange that matched his lockdown shorts at one point presumably lol, but little BR was not at all impressed, he said, “ daddy why are you wearing mummy’s clothes? You take that shirt off please, it’s not yours” or something along those lines, lol.

Thanks about LA and the cat pics, hopefully some of the cat pics are just photoshopped or whatever so no cats are actually in pain.

Yes hopefully dad did put his clothes in the laundry, heaven forbid he should ever wash them himself.
