You have been very busy Toni. Thank you. I'll have a lovely hot choc with some of those little marshmallows on top.
Elizabeth and Karen, hope you both feel better very soon.
And Barbara, your poor little girl. How awful for her. I really hope she's over the worst of it.

    Morning Toni and Everyone :)

Toni, I love pancakes - savoury and sweet - delicious :)

Barbara, your poor little gd, I hope she's feeling a lot better and that both you and the rest of the family stay clear of the bug. I bet you're exhausted, so hope you can rest.

Hope Karen and Elizabeth are feeling a little better too.

My poor OH is in the wars 'again'. He was chopping an onion with a new and very sharp knife. Unfortunately the onion slipped and the knife caught his left thumb. Never seen so much blood  . A lovely doctor at A & E glued him back together again - fortunately no worse than that.

    See you all later :)

    Afternoon all

Thanks for the well wishes. And Elizabeth, I hope you are coming through the other side now. I still feel worn out. (more like totally wiped out) but the pain is a little better. Think I might make a doctors appt.

It is very overcast down here. Yay, clocks going forward is only next week. Barbara, I'm sure half my life I am in hibernation.

    Have a good afternoon all

    Evening all,

Barbara, there may not have been wheelchairs but at least you made it to the cafe, thats the main thing. Did you enjoy it.

I do remember reading, someones hubby sliced his finger. I think it was Catie. I hope he is ok and you have recovered from all that blood.

Mig, I have never tryed venison. Tony has. Had it in burgers and sausages. I just start thinking of bambi. :? I'm the same with rabbit. Sad arn't I.

Shall be laying down very soon, I am so fed up with my left side. Arm neck and even hand now. It's fine as long as I dont do anything but that is impossible. Right, moan over, sorry.

Toni, you've reminded me I meant to have pancakes for lunch but forgot and had boiled eggs instead.

Barbara, glad your GD is feeling a bit better. Hope her mummy doesn't have the bug for too long. Glad you at least managed to get to the cafe. Done a bit of research on the Trip. It says you can feel a bit spaced out in the mornings if you take it too late and it was suggested not to take it any later than 8pm. Not what my GP told me. I did as you suggested and took it earlier last night. Felt better when I woke up this morning.

Oooooh, Catie. Just had shivers up and down my body thinking about your poor husband using the knife. Hope you have both recovered from it.

Mig, sounds as if you had a lovely day. Not sure if I've had venison before. Is it a strong flavour?

Karen, yes it might be a good idea to make a doctor's appointment. Hopefully, he can help with the pain and make you fell less worn out.

There was sunshine here when I first woke up but it had disappeared once I'd had breakfast. Snowed from late afternoon and still is. Clocks go forward next week. Yaaay! Ermm no, that means I need to get up for work an hour earlier. :o

Are there any marshmallows left or did everyone toast them on the fire? I'll have a hot chocolate with some on I think while I sit near the fire. Hope I don't fall asleep as it is so cosy there.

Heard there was snow in Oxfordshire,we had rain for most of afternoon.
Hope your doctors appointment goes well Karen.
Will have hot choc as well and marshmallows too.

Enjoy the peace and quiet if you can although I expect your Pup will be wanting lots of attention.

Its my left side too Karen. I have taken my beloved Humira injection, 2nd one since I took a break due to illness, and usually humira works for me but the flare has got a bigger stranglehold on me.

the reason I didn't try the venison is I saw the poor thing hanging up in the shed! It put me off.

Barbara poor GC. My son had the sickness and temperature and is off today. I bet your GC feels all weak after all that.

Morning all, anyone around to join me with a coffee?

Morning Karen. not better yet. This flare has got a hold.

did you see that i get my Sons payments reinstated with backpay? So now I can pay for a carer again. I keep adding updates on Problem with Carer thread but I think the updates are getting lost on a long thread.
