Coco bet you enjoyed the rugby!
I still get reviewed every six months but it gives me time to get a carer established. I've already paid for a couple of days out for him at Easter.
My son who never sleeps must be ill because he took himself off to bed Sunday afternoon and slept from then until about half an hour ago (he's up now).
Lovely coffee. Now I need some hot buttered toast,
Has your pain eased Karen?

Afternoon All
Barbara, hubby's thumb is on the mend thank you - still looks a mess though.
It's his birthday today and so he's got the day off. This morning we went for a nice drive and stopped at a quaint pub for lunch - nice and relaxing as we were the only ones there . He's now counting the days off 'till he retires....three years to go .
Sounds like we're all in the wars at the moment. My back and neck are stiff as a poker and I've been waiting for NHS physio for about 6 weeks. Think the average time around here is about 8-12 wks..... Can't wait to be honest.
Applerose....hope the snow has gone. We had the sun yesterday and it's the same today - feels like spring.
I think we could do with a steam cleaner too - would save a lot of work0 -
Afternoon Catie
And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your hubby...that sounds like my sought of day out..it makes such a difference ..especially when the sun is out..
My OH is retired on paper...but not in reality...he is self employed with no pension...apart form the state one.... so he will carry on working...must say he enjoys working...says a lot for meLove
Barbara0 -
Evening all
I must admit I do like bleach. It is so good for so many things.
Catie, happy birthday to your hubby. Sounds like you both had a good day.
Barbara, it is such a shame that people like your hubby have to keep working to get a good pension.
I went to the doctors, only got back about 15mins ago. She was oh so busy with 5 more after me. Anyway, she has given me a prescription for diazepam. She reckons I have a trapped nerve in my neck. If that doesn't work then she will says physio will help.
Well, I hope everyone is okish and had a good day. And might see you later.Karen xx0 -
Evening all
Karen Tony is on that and he says it helps him a lot..it will relax your muscles and help the pain....I hope you get some sleep...

Sleep well everyone will see you tomorrow ..night xxxxLove

Coco, I shall have a cuppa and a bacon sarnie. Barbara and Coco, I am the same, just cant get going. Billing paying. And prescription collecting for me today. Oh what excitement.
Hope everyone has a good day, well as good as it can be.
I am going to be told off later when H gets back from school, I forgot to make her an appointment with the dr. :?Karen xx0 -
I can't get going today either, maybe one of Coco's bacon sarnies will help? I'm just going to take it easy today and watch a few youtube videos I think and maybe play words.
Arranged an appointment at opticians for my daughter otherwise I'd be told off too Karen.
Very cold here......

First off, I'm glad you are taking it easy today Elizabeth. You need it. And I will have to tell a porky to H about her appointment and try again tomorrow.
Coco, good to hear you have your feet up. But I bet not for long knowing you.
I am going to sit by the window and watch the world go by with a nice cuppa until the girls come home.Karen xx0 -
Had a mad rush this morning and cleaned the top of cooker ,so had a relaxing afternoon.

Afternoon all
Went to do a bit of shopping and came back with 3 fish for my tank...and a magnetic cleaning thingy..
I think we all need a get going tonic...apart from Coco that is...she got going..
Dexa scan is it like an MRI..I have had 3 of those one was 10 mins...I do not like confined spaces ...but I managed not to press the buzzer...the second was 15 mins...and the last 20mins..I had to press the buzzer on that one...I had earphones listening to the radio...but I got panicky...they were lovely about it gave me 5 mins and in I went again...and it was fine...wewill all come with you Coco dont worry...
oops nearly missed you Mig...the salmon sounds nice you are always making me hungry... glad you had a goodish day...by the way I love the frozen mash..Love
Barbara0 -
Barbara..... don't mention MRI Scans  .... Hate them. I've only had one, but that was enough as like you I hate to be in confined spaces. I didn't press the buzzer, but came close to it. There was a lady at the hospital who told me that she had pressed it SIX times. I think in the end they had to give her a sedative. When my hubby had one he thought nothing of it and can't understand why I'm like I am. Still, we're all different aren't we
Hope everyone has had a good day0
