    Morning all
    applerose how on earth can that be...I eat loads of dried fruit... :o
    Karen I am glad you have not had the snow....we still cant go up our rd..but down the rd is clear....its this freezing wind that is bad...there's one thing we are finding were all the drafts are coming from....
    I am off to have my hair cut and coloured it should be every 6 weeks but she is away next week...I will see you this afternoon ...keep warm xxxxx

    Morning Everyone.

    We have the sun today, but it is bitterly cold. Really glad that the snow has gone.

    Early this morning my daughter received a parcel. Inside was a very large easter egg. Attached was a card which read..... Love xx. She hasn't a clue who sent it - certainly wasn't her bf :wink:. She thought it highly amusing, but I must be getting old because it rather spooked me. Perhaps I've been watching too many thrillers :lol:

    Barbara, you have reminded me ...must make a hair appointment. I've decided to try someone else as mine has put up all their prices....they have rocketed :roll:

    Hope you are all managing to keep warm. I think the utility companities will be rubbing their hands in glee this year :roll:

    Morning all, boy is it cold, im hopeing everyone is ok and managing to keep warm,

    kettle is on for you all, the soup sounds lovely, i will have a cuppa and then i have a form from atos to fill in , looks like i will be back on the battle with them again, i dont know how much more of them i can take,

    Well I do feel glamorous (not)..hair cut and coloured ..when I was young I was always colouring my hair...but these days I just have it brown :roll: I would love to be brave and have some colour in..maybe next time
    No Karen today I hope she is doing OK I know she is suffering...
    I will put the kettle on...and sit by the fire..I am froze...xxx

    Coco, I know how you feel, I have my medical at Hastings on Wednesday, am really worried about it. So I do really feel for you.

    Is there any of that soup left, I could do with some, so so cold. Catie, I would feel that way as well. But in a way, be positive, she has an admirer, keep her boyfriend on his toes.(arn't I wicked).

    Barbara, I am still waiting to get the money to have mine cut. Every time it's there one of the girls needs something and it's gone again. :roll:

    Karen we will all be there for you Wednesday...they shouldn't be allowed to cause stress like this...there are enough people that have never work and nothing wrong with them..
    Here I have made apple crumble and custard...I hope everyone's keeping warm.....I am dreading our heating bill... :o :roll:

    Barbara, the wheat is in the sweets not the raisins. Don't think it was raisins inside the chocolate though. They weren't mentioned in the list of ingredients.
    Had a little snow here for about half an hour but nothing laid. Very cold wind so I have put a curtain up at my front door and a draught excluder at the bottom.
    Catie, lucky daughter. Hope she shares it with you.

    Evening all

    One of those nights, cant sleep at all. Catie, that is something I have said to oh for next year. Getting curtains for the front door and back, there is a draught and I do feel the cold so much. Popped in for a hot choc, maybe it will help me sleep, but thinking is it worth it. I have to be up at 5, so maybe just saty up and get some jobs done.

    Well I was up with the sparrows today. Yesterday I had another session with the physio and boy did that irritate everything. The bad news was that she says I need two seesions a week :o. Just hoping it's early days and the treatment will help in the long term.

    Karen... you were up early...poor you. Apart from all the aches and pains, I expect you have a lot on your mind at the moment and that won't help a bit. I don't have any experience with Atos, but like many people have read a great deal of negative comment about them. I think it's a disgrace that anyone called to a medical doesn't see a 'specialist' in their medical condition. Makes my blood boil to be honest
    Cocoa, good luck with your medical too.

    I had better make tracks. Hope everyone is well as they can be :)

    Catie...2 sessions a week..bet you are looking forward to them...I know they have to make us work hard..but dont you think they should have to have a few sessions themselves...then they know what is is like... :o
    Its snowing again here but very light at the min...they have cleared our rd so that will help...saying that it was nice and quiet without the traffic...
    Today I am staying put...so much to do...will it ever get done is anyone's guess

    Barbara, it was both. I am worrying about tomorrow. Also I went to the drs yesterday and she gave me a steroid injection in the elbow. And I am starting physio beginning of april for my neck.

    Glad your road has been cleared, just hope it doesn't settle again for you.

    I am going to have a nice cuppa and rest. I have to take the girls to the dentist this afternoon.

    Catie, physio isn't much fun, is it, but hopefully you'll soon feel the benefit of it if you are going twice a week.
    Barbara. Poor husband. :lol::lol: Don't worry about not getting anything done. It'll always be there for another time.
    I got a voucher from my daughter for my birthday to go for a massage. Well I went today. The girl was very good. Quite a few aches and pains disappeared but I felt so sleepy, it was difficult to get off the bed and get dressed. I could easily have stayed the night. :D

    Barbara, seeing that bus made me smile. It also reminded me of the song 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' - happy days :). I was wondering...is there a nice handsome conductor onboard? :wink:

    Applerose, thank you for your kind words :). Your massage sounds as if it was wonderfully relaxing and I hope you feel the benefits in the days to come.

    I had to smile yesterday when I went to post a letter. Some chap in the village has started a campaign against those people who walk their dogs but don't clear up after them. What has he done?.... Sprayed the offending matter with a silver glittery spray.... What a sight :lol: He's also placed posters explaining the fact that such people are being anti social. What effect it will have remains to be seen.

    Thanks for the kind words all of you. I am so so nervous. Leaving at 8.30 this morning so a quick cuppa for me (could do with a stiff one to be honest). And of course, after that we have to do the weekly shop.

    Catie ..what a good idea we have a new road leading nowhere at the min....they will be building more house.. :roll: but everyone takes there dogs up there last summer it smelt awful...so I might get some silver or maybe gold spray...you have a goodish day x

    Best of luck Karen.

    I've been so sleepy for days ever since taking my methotrexate. So nothing has got done apart from dragging myself to prepare the children something to eat and wash up quickly. OH has to do everything else because I'm too tired and still have something going on with my knees.

    My hair is a mess Barbara -half brown and half blonde at the moment Barbara. Highlights are so costly so I might just add a chestnut rinse and cut the blonde out when I get the strength.

    Hope everybody is okay with the snow and electricity cuts.So sad seeing the farmers looking for their buried sheep. I thought of Skezier struggling with the cold and hope Toni can pass on my love.

    Of course i will Elizabeth :) she is copng in her usual way (was drip week last week), mostly it is very very cold and wet no snow at all.

    You are doing all you can at home kids food comes first everything else OH can and will do.

    Hope all has gone well for Karen :? and maybe that the jab has kicked in too.

    On the subject of hair - the two eldest have had their's done today.....reday for their joint 18th party on Friday. Mine will wait.

    Finally back home. Thanks for all the support. Just have to wait for the decision. At the mo the injection has started to help a bit, think I needed a higher dose. Maybe next time.

    I am going to sit in the corner with a cuppa and unwind and try and relax now.

    We can have our own knees up in honour of the girls birthday. I hope I'll be allowed on the laptop as the holidays are about to begin and the children love playing online.

    Elizabeth I am the same with the laptop..I have had my GD falling out over mine this morning... :roll: I hope you are feeling a little less tired today..
    We have sunshine ..but its freezing...my daffodils have not flowered yet...I do look forward to seeing them...
    Not doing much today apart from cleaning up after the girls...the eldest has hoovered my stairs so I cant grumble....
    The kettle is on and I will be sat in the window....xxxx

    Hi Barbara and Everyone,

    What a day.... we lost both our internet and mobile connection...and have just been restored. Meant I had to attack those jobs which I've been putting off for goodness knows how long :roll:

    Really cold out there and our daffs are still hiding. I read in the paper that this cold spell was set to last until the end of April :o .... Barbara, perhaps it's time to bring out the bus and venture to somewhere sunny. Now that would be nice :)
