    Morning Everyone :)

Just dropped my daughter off at the railway station. She's off to London to stay with a friend for the weekend. Apparently this evening they are off speed dating :). Sounds like a lot of fun - only wish it had been about when I was young

Fowls, hope you managed to warm-up before your boss arrived :)

Barbara, I hope your hubby changes his mind about the surround :)

Christine, glad little Ruby is ok now and I hope your hands are feeling a little better :)

Toni, I've never had a caramel whotsit :) ...sounds tempting though.

Hi, to everyone not mentioned :)

Right a caramel macchiato for Catie coming right up (extra shot of caramel) Speed dating eh? I would have been worried taht no-one would put me on their list

Karen (Fowls)....a convict eh? Could you see my 'tag'

Yes Barbara I agree -the nurse is so the best person to advise and aks her for a diet sheet for low sodium if you can.

I remember my Charley haing that eye test Christine - it's worth it because they can get a kind of blindness due to extra oxygen I think. Oddly enough Charley was so early that she slept thorugh it!!!

    Rosie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so extra exited some cafe-twins!!! :D WAHAY!!! I think you deserve a caramel macchiato with extra caramel shot too....if you prefer I can do you de-caf?

    Love

Fowls, hope you got to keep the heating on if you were cold. I'm always complaining at work about the heating being on. I have to keep sticking my head out of the window.

Catie, sounds as if your daughter will be having a whale of a time. My hands are a little better but not going to do too much typing. Thanks.

Toni, I guess the eye test was something that had to be done. I've never heard of it but glad it's over. It looks like I'm at the back of the queue for one of your specials. Are there any left?

Rosie, a little girl. Fantastic. I feel a pink shopping trip coming on for you. :D

Mig, sounds as if you did your best to enjoy York despite the weather. The forecast is better for tomorrow so hope you get out a bit more. I love York.

Oh dear Barbara. Hopefully, your OH will get used to the fire surround. I'm up for tonight's speed dating but don't think I could manage 2 meals.

Hope everyone is doing ok and looking forward to the bank holiday. Is anyone doing anything special/

    Hi Everyone :)

A much better day here and hoping it is for you all.
Mig, sounds like you're having a great time. I'm another one who loves York, and as we have friends nearby are lucky to visit quite often.

Well, I received a call from my daughter at 8am! She was really excited at having met someone nice at the speed-dating event. Apparently he's a medical doctor. After the event they spent the rest of the evening chatting and are meeting-up tonight . I think her friend met someone too :).

Coco, hope you feel better soon. I think we could all do with some nice warm weather for a little boost.

Karen, hope you are ok and also your hubby as he hasn't been too well of late.

Hi to everone else mentioned. Hope you all enjoy the bank holiday break. We are off to Kent shortly to stay with my sister and her family - see you all soon :)

    Evening all

Sorry I've been AWOL. I went to the job centre. And I am glad to say all went reasonably very well. Haven't been around because of lack of sleep due to pain. Just feeling generally unwell.

Coco, sorry to hear you are struggling. Hope you feel better real soon. I have been asleep for a little but so so uncomfortable again tonight. Just taken some more pain killers and diazepam, so hopefully should get my head down soon.

I hope you all have a good night sleep and that as I am writing this you are all in the land of nod.

    Morning all

And thanks Toni. I think you get those days and sometimes longer that you are in pain and just feel so low with it all. But I am bouncing(wish I could) back now.

It's lovely here too. Already got one load of washing out. Got a bit behind. So next lot will be ready soon.

The youngest has already gone out. She doesn't waste any time, even though it's Sunday. So, just me at the Mo, everyone else still in bed.

Hope you all have a lovely day and you all have nice weather.

Coco, sorry you are struggling. Hope you are getting plenty of rest and enjoying the sun. Get better soon.

Hope you have another lovely day Mig. Looks like the weather will be good again today.

Enjoy your gardening Barbara (or should I say Barbara's oh  ).

Thanks for the macchiato Toni. Keep typing mariato (just searched for that and it's a place in Panama) More vitamin D to be had today. Enjoy.

Oooh Catie. Fingers crossed your daughter has found herself a good man. Sounds as if she's having fun. Enjoy yourself at your sister's.

Hi Karen. Good to see you again. Glad things went well at the job centre. Sorry about the lack of sleep and pain though. Hope it eases soon so you can get some decent sleep.

Ruby has reached 6lbs but still feels light as a feather. Her eyes are ok again and she's sleeping better once again. My daughter, her husband and 2 other GC are arriving on Friday for a couple of days so spending the next few days toddler-proofing the house. Ornaments, candles, contents of kitchen drawers and cupboards to rehouse. The locks you can get won't fit on mine. Need to get a stair gate. Not so bad during the day but Tyg can now climb out of his cot.

I took all the bedding downstairs with me to wash through to freshen it, got my breakfast and came back to bed. Just listening to the forecaster saying we're in for another sunny day and realised I didn't actually switch the washing machine on.

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone.
