    Morning Everyone :)

Lovely to see you back with us Karen :) If H is able to find a job I think it will really help her both now and the future. Think it's so hard for youngsters today to make their way.

Toni :D.... I'm really excited for you... Wow, the properties are lovely. What a great time you'll have looking around. I love France and the people too :)

Barbara, hope they fix your car soon - sounds like it's served you well.

Christine, hope you aren't as tired today and can enjoy the garden later. It's black as your hat here and so humid...but I shouldn't grumble.

MrO, I hope your d-i-l feels a little better with each day. How wonderful that she has both you and your wife to help with the twins :)

Unsure, do you have any ideas about the new decor? :)

Hi to Elizabeth, Coco, Mig, Rosie and all visitors to the cafe :)

Glad to see you back Karen!

How awful about H's school not wanting anything to do with her!!! How very dare they. What eve happened to compassion and understanding?

Toni my arm took ages to calm down. Its still slightly swollen-I look a bit like Popeye!

Yep I blame my Mum for my mass of fillings which are now falling out! And fizzy drinks from the Corona man. I know she only wanted to spoil us but luckily I stopped drinking fizzy years ago but more for weight reasons. It seemed like empty calories.

I'm wide awake today. I'm wondering if its my new painkillers co-dydramol?

    Hugs to all,

    Elizabeth

Barbara - I love them all too!!!

What will we do?! (think you and Karen and anyone else better pop in my pocket to help) We can drop MrO off at his family too :D

Elizabeth your poor arm! Hey you reminded me of something then - I delivered corona in the 5th year  was hard work too

Gordon Ramsay unsure? Have you 'contacts'??

Catie you can come along too to help us decide. You know they might not be as good in 'real life' :?

What a day we have had. I have been productive in the garden - watered veggies with nematodes (helped by step-daughter). Together we sort of aerated one of the composters too. A good day's work I think and all in this fabulous sun.

Can we really have rain tomorrow???

    Sigh....

Hi all, sadly I have been at the funeral of my late fathers youngest sister who passed away last week, she was the last of his siblings it's a very strange feeling that one side has now died out but there are so many cousins that we carry on in a way.we had to drive to the east coast with my sister and her husband so it's been a long day as the funeral was early.
Hope you are all enjoying this weather. Mig

If it hasn't got a pool I am sure we can all dig one

Mig I am so sorry you had a sad time :( It is so sad, but the family has carried on of course it has and new branches grow too.

Oh a refurb. I'll help with my roller. Gordon Ramsey? Good idea Unsure

Hope your daughter's exam went ok Karen.

Toni, big sigh of relief when all the exams are done. Tubes for bees? I wouldn't mind doing that. Do you know what type of tubes to use? Wow, the houses look fabulous. yes, we will all have to come along for a house warming party. You have been busy in the garden. Where did you get your nematodes from? Do they not disappear?

Barbara, hope your GD did get something to eat. My son has been a head teacher at a couple of schools and he and other staff members have bought a meal sometimes for pupils who hadn't brought anything and had no money with them. Yes, the bees are having a terrible time at the moment. I have tried to put as many bee flowers as possible in the garden and I've left a few things like brambles so they can get to the flowers. Thanks Barbara, I had planned on spending the afternoon in the garden but it was very hot so didn't do much. Hope you can get your car sorted. Happy new handbag.

Thank you Catie. I was ok at work this morning but had to force myself out in to the garden to pull out some ivy but had to give up because it was so hot. When I sat down, I couldn't get back up. I felt totally worn out.

Elizabeth, hope your arm is better soon and that the wide awake feeling keeps going (well except at bedtime  )

So sorry for your loss Mig. It must seen rather strange to think of one side of the family not being there any more but, as you say, there are still cousins to carry on. ((hug))

    Good Morning to All

My sincere condolences Mig for your sad loss.

Lots of visitors to the cafe and lots of chat - having a bit of a job to keep up :)

Toni, some great properties and I'm sure they won't disappoint when you visit.

Just a flying visit really as we are off to Oz tomorrow. Our youngest son and his wife are emigrating and MrsO is fretting already. The only solution was to go with them for a few weeks so she could see that it will be ok

My very best wishes to you all and I will call in to the cafe on my return :)

    Hi Everyone :)

Mig - my sincere condolences too. So sorry to hear about your Aunt.

MrO, taking MrsO to Oz to see where your son will be living etc is such a good idea and I'm sure will help so much :) What an adventure for your son and his wife, and what a lovely destination for a wonderful holiday :). Hope everything goes well for you all.

With all this talk of France and Australia, I'm beginning to get the travel bug :).
So far we haven't arranged to do anything - how boring is that lol

Unsure.... Gordon Ramsay :o ... I bet his advice would be interesting :) How about Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen ? He would liven things up a bit :)

My daughter forgot her lunch yesterday too Barbara! Lucky enough we live near enough for OH to drop it in later.

We don't appear to have had the sunshine everyone else has had. It has been hot though.

I'm still awake. Usually I feel awful all day and deep sleep for hours. I don't mind if I don't sleep at night Applerose as I have so many books to catch up on.

Morning Catie hope you are well.

Hi Unsure - thanks for filling Christine in on bee tubes - I am no expert, but Mellman is - he has loads!

Christine :) The nematodes I use come from a site called 'Greeng*rdener' They do loads of organic stuff fertilizers etc. It's where I get my ladybirds from :D Really!

Love to anyone I missed and apologies too
