Morning all jsut about to do some online shopping. We are supposed to be moving 1 Son into the front bedroom and he ha chosen orange as the main colour! Well I have been looking for orange bits for boys but its usually flowers BUT this year Next have a great collection with rugs and stripes and boys bedding.

Yesterday was a better day :D:D:D and I even managed to read in the garden but had to have a sleep around tea time and came down to find usual mess in the kitchen.

Daughter is off to play with that aggressive boy today. His Mum will be there and she is under strict instruction to phone to come home if he loses his temper. I am not happy and will be on tenterhooks from 12-5.

Well OH seems to be at everyone's beck and call at the moment but took his family to Heathrow this morning (in my motability car which I'm not pleased about) so have 2 weeks peace. then i plan to take the family away to sussex and also have to fit in a canal trip at some point.

    Enjoy the weddings everyone,

    Elizabeth xxxx

How long before you can have the other hip done Barbara? ITs having to work harder now so you will notice the pain more. Enjoy your shower.

could do with a day trip somewhere nice. Must say I love Brighton but it is so crowded nowadays.

Morning...whoops one minute past noon. Afternoon all looks like another sunny day.

Well one of my big girls has got another job.Says she saw it advertised Sunday, interview Tuesday and job offer Thursday. It seems like she went for it because she plans to move to London!

Barbara see how well you recover before you make a decision but you could delay it for a few months.

Sorry have to rush as my boy wants the laptop so I'm going to attempt to hang out the washing (OH went out last night and needs the obligatory rest after a couple of pints and a chinese meal)

    Hi Everyone :)

Barbara yes curries do have that nack of helping you 'along' a bit don't they  It'll be lack of mobility coupled with extra pain meds doing that

Elizabeth congratulations to your daughter!!! Well done her London eh? Well I know she will keep in touch so nothing to worry about you must be proud of her :)

Hope OH is 'over' his overindulgence

Today is migs pie day Barbara are you ready to go over??

The storms are all gone for now (I hope) it's glorious here so far, but don't expect it to last :( ah well

I hope all café dwellers are ok and were just busy making the most of the sun yesterday before the storms.

Barbara, it's good to see you haven't lost your sense of humour :)

We've had storms here today and the internet has been on and off. Strange to think of the days when we didn't have computers :)

Karen, hope you feel better soon and hope everyone else is ok.

Goodness, what rain we had at the wedding on saturday - it reminded me of the day we wed lol. Someone said it's supposed to be lucky though. The happy couple hired a couple of red buses (all dressed up in ribbon) to take us from the church to the reception. Fortunatly it turned up on time :)

Good news about your daughter Elizabeth. Well done to her - it's so competitive I know.

    Better make tracks :)

Right cleared up the mess. I didn't see him sneaking jugs of water into the machine before dragging out the wet washing. Then as I was finishing up in the kitchen he came up and ran himself a bath but put cleaner in instead of bubbles. Luckily I could smell the bleach.

Still raining heavily on and off here but its so much cooler and love to see the flowers springing back to life.

Woke up in pain but once the tabs kicked in its been an enjoyable day and even had a little spurt of energy at one point.

Just going to have a hot choccy then up the wooden stairs.

    Hi Everyone :)

Barbara, I will second that - def no ironing this week :). I think it's the job I hate the most to be honest.

Elizabeth, good job you're on the ball. Bleach instead of bubbles - doesn't bear thinking about.

Toni, the groom is Italian and as his family seemed to equate London with red buses....that's what they got :) They were thrilled to jump onboard :). The bride is a daughter of one of my cousins and as she arrived half an hour too early :o , had to circle the block where the church was - 5 Times :).

The piano tuner has now finished, so had better find my cheque book. Have a good day everyone. Hope all who have been feeling poorly, are a little better today.

    Catie x
