Just a quick visit to say hello, and have a coffee, while gazing out of the window.
    :deckchair:
I sometimes miss part of the recordings, as they make me so relaxed I nod off for a few minutes. Latest discoveries are some ancient American detectives. A bit corny, but fun. Added brain stimulation, is to try and guess who the killer is. I haven't got it right yet. :?

BTW, I actually saw Aiden swerve the bus! a065.gif

and two pair of wellies came flying out at me. c070.gif

They fit me and OH, so I've kept them. :D

Morning Miss, lol. It did remind me of school assembly.

Hope you are having a fair day and that Daisycat has forgiven you for putting drops on her neck.

Was it me that caused all the shoe avalanche? At least it was a black cat that crossed our path. I know my eyes are not what they used to be a015.gif

At least Kath can be another witness to the "incident". Sorry you got whacked by the wellies, but, a bonus that they fit  :?
Brain stimulation b072.gifis very good indeed. Just need to find mine, amidst the drugs

There are a lot of lovely pubs near Pendle, wonderful little villages, the Witches shop in Newchurch in Pendle. We often drive over the hill, well, I sit there like Lord Muck while OH drives :D 8)
view%20pendle_zpsehqwd58m.jpg View from the top, the Nick of Pendle.

Maybe not a bad thing that the physio is moving on to pastures new.

No, not out for lunch today. We did coffee and scones yesterday, had to make a dash, well, a more urgent hobble, as there was a bus trip just pulled in to the garden centre and there was no way I was letting tourists eat all the scones. r020.gif

Right it is time to potter and take pills, more of the darned things.
Everyone take lots of care, XXXX Aidan

Aiden, that way of washing dishes looks easier than doing them properly. The red bow suits you. How nice of puskins to share his supper with you. Will there be enough room on the bus for us all and all Toni's shoes? My boss's mum sometimes asks me to clean the chicken. I know she means the kitchen. My physio gave me a back exercise to do. I told it hurt. He said 'Good. It's supposed to.' Glad you got your scone yesterday before the tourists.

Joan, a recycled teenager? I like that. You certainly don't seem to let any problems get in your way.

Barbara, is Toni labelling her pants so they don't get lost in the move? I remember now you telling us there were no ponds near you. How strange the frogs keep coming. My boss's mum is lovely. She'd do anything to help anyone and doesn't like me to work too hard. Sometimes she says just to flick the duster round but not to bother cleaning properly. Hope you are managing your exercises. Not easy when it's so painful. Did you find any of Toni's shoes that fit?

Kath, your poor feet and legs. Can they not do something to ease it for you? Sounds as if you are really busy with reading and the radio. It was quite warm here yesterday but cold today. I see you've got the deck chairs out in the café garden. I'll give it a miss today with it raining but hopefully we'll get plenty of use out of them this summer.

Elizabeth, just enjoy your cuppa and get your feet up. Hope all is well with you.

Toni, what a shame all those posts went missing. I imagine some people would like to read back. Hope Barbara has managed to pair up all the shoes. I could do with new trousers. I'll have a rummage through your bags. Poor Daisycat but these things need to be done. I'm sure you won't stay upset for long.

Started on tidying another cupboard today, one in the spare room. I got it tidied but only through out a few little things but there is a little space in there now. Came downstairs to make a cuppa and suddenly felt I just wanted to lie down there and then and go to sleep. Managed to get to the sofa to sit down with my cuppa. Feel a bit better now but can't be bothered with anything else today. Ready meal for tea I guess. I'm watching Homes by the Sea. Charlie Luxon looks at luxurious houses around the world. Some of them are stunning with fantastic views. Aaaaaah, if only. :hammock:

Just noticed an 'upload attachment' button below this. Haven't seen it before so trying it out.
The other night when I went in to my bedroom, I noticed the plant in the corner was so big, I had to squeeze past to get to the window. This was what I saw when I woke up the next morning. Looked like it was trying to get in the bed.

Evening all - wasn't that from Z cars? Gosh, am I really that old.

Age aside, I hope everyone is as ok as can be.

Christine, it seems that everyone has the tidying bug at the moment. What with Toni moving, you sorting out your cupboards, we were turfing out clothes that have shrunk so much they will never be worn again :lol: Ready for the Air Ambulance collection, bagged and off to the clothing bin, thingy tomorrow.

I think Barbara has come out of the shoe pile now. There is plenty of room on the bus, don't worry - I won't be driving next time, I would rather be in the back, with the boxes and everyone else.

Your plant looks like it is going to get you, "little shop of horrors", feed me, feed me now, lol. Cleaning the chicken, I like it, what with that and dustments, it is a whole new language. Cheeky Physio, it's meant to hurt. Huh, that would wind me up.

Well, I have sat long enough for a while. I am already going chair shaped as I speak. Everyone take care. XXXXX Aidan

    Good morning everyone :)

I still vividly remember being hurt by a physio....that was years ago and it was supposed to be mmm...when they stick all those wee needles in....acupuncture. AGONY! She could see the muscle shriek! and hear me too!

Ok so you want to sit at the back do you now Aidan? I'm sure you can, but you know we can smell **** smoke don't you??? and as for those songs you tried to get us to sing when you were driving

Barbara has done a great job pairing up the remaining shoes she doesn't want :) Well done to Kath for catching some wellies that fit!

I have had to do something I didn't want to do :( woe is me! I have packed my tassimo!

Not too worried I shall make some posh coffee here instead until we move in.

New date for moving is June the 1st. I expect to hear more on Monday I bet someone isn't happy. We don't mind too much so long as it's not the 31st as we will be at the Royal Orthopaedic seeing the hip man for Lucy. I hope he can chase up the shoulder man for us if we haven't heard before, which I doubt

Christine I started to clear out the greenhouse ready for the move yesterday (until Tia phoned me t try to find something she's packed - kids!), I think you need one of my 'sticks' to support your plant - what is it?

By the way my 'chicken' is nearly empty now only 3 cupboards full of things I need between now and the move. I love your bosses Mum :)

I, for one, would have loved to have read the café's inception :( Ah well it was no-one's fault the forum crashed.

I will have a look at the attach link thingy. Not sure if it's worked, but if it did it was some of skezier's sheep :)

Kath I am sure I could fall asleep listening to audiobooks, but I make sure I am doing something when I do so. Ironing or clearing out the greenhouse.... :?

Barbara I found my Mum's old sewing machine, before I pass it on to my arty niece shall we get some of these clothes altered?

Right I must try to get 'something' done today it looks lovely out there ATM....maybe some more labelling? Or back in the greenhouse. I am listening to Inspector Chopra on audio and it goes well with clearing out the greenhouse.....

Hope Elizabeth is ok. She's been in the corner sleeping soundly only waking for coffee for days :?

Well, mammogram on Tuesday morning. Anyone available for pocket duties again please? I should have had it in January, but as I was unable, as I was bed ridden. So feeling a bit anxious. Transport and wheelchair booked. Then I want to try and make a rheumy appointment to get my vasculitis back under control.
    :sland-shark:

Emily had a new gas boiler, fitted apparently, by a gang of gorillas. thought you'd like to see where they put one of the pipes.

Afternoon to one and to all..................hope everyone is as ok as possible and enjoying Sunday.

You packed the coffee machine Toni, :o  NO, I would be on the ceiling already. A whiff of smoke never hurt anyone. I won't smoke on the bus, don't worry, although we might have to stop every mile or so :lol: Nothing wrong with Rugby songs at all, lol.

Phew, I read you can still make posh coffee, that's ok then, goodness, I nearly fell off my perch.

I tried to attach a photo and it said TOO BIG, so I gave up. Photobucket is ok. Spotted this rainbow out of the window last evening.20160521_204315_zpsbbviy1z3.jpg

Its not the best picture, but I didn't want to miss is. I love rainbows.

Hope the sorting is going well, sounds like you are well organised.

Everything crossed for the moving date. Also for Lucy's appointments. xx

The scone was lovely thank you Joan, after a mushroom and mozzarella panini. You can have Jam and clotted cream, but I just had butter and plenty of it, well, it's full of calcium :D Hope you are ok and enjoying the week end.

Barbara, you are right, it was Dixon of Dock Green, I remember now. Yes, we did beat the bus trip - the thoughts of them eating all the scones was enough to make me scuttle as best I could.

We had torrential rain yesterday as well, stair rods as Mum used to say. Hope you don't have any more dreams. Mind you, the weather is so up and down, blowing hot then cool, a bit like myself. 17 is warm enough any day.

I cannot believe they put the gas pipe there Kath. That is so dangerous. They need reporting to whoever, trading standards. Terrible.
Pocket duties organised, we have the tumble dryer man coming Tuesday, but I can be in two places at once. 8) No worries.

Hope you are ok Christine, Mig and all. No more plants attacking the bed.

Time for pills, big medicine round at this time of day, lol. Humans and cats. Everyone take care.

Aiden, hope you had your hands behind your back and were bending your knees as you said 'Evening all'. There was an article on tv the other day talking about driverless cars. I'm sure we can find a driverless bus too. I thought Little Shop of Horrors too when I woke up and opened my eyes. Rugby songs on the bus? Might have to put my fingers in my ears. Lovely rainbow. I can't usually capture the colours in a photo.

Toni, it won't be long before you unpack your tassimo again. Hope you managed to find what Tia wanted in your packing. You'll have to pop in here more often. Hope you get the right date for your move. You'll be busier than usual round that time. My plant already has a stick. I think as it's grown, it pulled the stick out of the soil. Or maybe it really was trying to escape. It's an umbrella tree. I had to resize my picture with Paint before it was accepted. I think photobucket will be easier.

Joan, my plant is fine. Doesn't need much water. Just wanted to go for a wander. It's got lots of new leaves opening. I really need to cut it back before it takes over my room.

Barbara, hope you're not having nightmares. I did wonder what was going on with the plant climbing on my bed. My boss is quite nice but very tight with his money and doesn't believe in giving things that aren't worked for or giving me a lift or anything like his mum would. Good idea to call in at the coffee shops while we're all on the bus.

Kath, I'll come along on Tuesday. I'm sure all will be well. Is Emily ok with that pipe? Will they move it? I like the attachment thingy but had to resize my picture first.

We had tornados here at lunchtime. Only mini ones but people had posted photos all over FB and it made the local news. I had just finished hanging my washing out as the sun was shining but it started raining straight away so I had to take it all in again. Missed the tornados though. The tadpoles are little fatties now but I can't see any legs yet.

Picture of a tadpole. Not very good as there was a lot of reflection of the iris leaves and some leaves in the water. The red/yellow thing is a brick (must have put that there to hold the pond liner down). The tadpole is in the shadow just to the left of middle. His tail is pointing up.

:o:o Noooooooooo, mig, we cannot steal Christine's tadpoles, even when they turn into little frogs. :splash: I am sure Toni had found a big toad. :D

I can see the tadpole clearly, it is v good. Nice and fat, won't be long now till they are jumping about Christine.

I don't think I could put my hands behind my back and bend my knees, not without falling over. A driverless bus seems quite a good idea. It will need a lot of cameras and sensors. Stopping at every coffee shop is more than acceptable, we will all be suitably wired by the time we get to Toni's

Glad the plant has been tamed and put back into place. A trim might be in order lol.

I saw the pictures of the mini tornadoes in the newspaper online. We had one a few years back, it was horrid, like being in a washing machine, ripping plants out of the garden. Freaky. :o It only lasted a short time, but that was more than enough. The windows were covered in leaves and soil etc.

Off to our fav tea room for lunch tomorrow, the one with the giant eclairs. Will see what they have on offer for desert. I will take pic so that we can all share.

Take care all, n nights XXXX Aidan

The downstairs loo is at it again!! Rang the housing association, but as we have another loo upstairs, they don't class it as urgent, so aren't coming out until June 21st. :o Told them we have problems on the stairs, but no go. I rang Severn Trent Water, but it would have cost over £100. Think I'd better stock up on nappies.

I don't know what Emily is doing about the gas pipe, bearing in mind she has two tall sons with big feet. Talking of which (whom?) Chester has sugar problems, which is why he keeps having dizzy spells. He has to be aware of what he's eating. OH was the same, as was his father before him. Emily is border line diabetic too. Well, at least they can't blame that one on me. :?

Thank you for volunteering for tomorrow. It should only take 10 mins, so don't worry if you can't make it.

Hi there Joan Barbara Kath Toni Christine Mig Elizabeth and all...........
What a lovely day, more than warm enough for me, nice breeze, just bordering on getting in a lather, but avoiding it at the moment.

Hope everyone is as ok as possible.

I would join you on a nice walk Barbara, but it might take a few days to get anywhere. Put it this way, they would not have to send out search and rescue, well, maybe they could, if we were tired :D

Not sure about sharing scones Barbara, bit of a tetchy subject  I might though, if they are enormous. Today's lunch was very nice and here is the selection of cakes that were on offer. I didn't have one - I know, I cannot believe it myself.

    20160523_112512_zpsalnj9jim.jpg

    20160523_112517_zpswwe2kiqf.jpg

I was so tempted by the pecan pie, but was full of tuna panini and chips. Plus coffee, well, one was coffee then the other one was done by a newbie, so it was like ditch water. Fortunately L, who we know well, snook it away and popped in another shot.

Kath that is terrible, of course it is urgent, any loo out of action is urgent, especially when the access to the other one is difficult. Grrrr. Surely that gas pipe cannot be safe, clipped or not. :o Sending some pics to Gas Safe would be a good start.

I am about to check my blood sugars, I take Metformin, I have it under control, despite cakes and scones, which don't seem to bother it at all. Obviously if I ate a shed load, then it would. Hope your sons keep theirs under control, it does make you dizzy when levels are a bit off. Talking of which I will go check mine now and do pills.

Joan I hope you are ok hun. Toni, have you vanished into a box and packed yourself up.... I did hear a noise from under the stairs, but I think it was Barbara putting horrid food in, for the "formula". Mig will be pleased.

Take care, lots of love XXXX Aidan

Naughty Mig is teasing us!! I loved the slightly evil smilie Mig!! :)

    o092.gif

    Christine
that tadpole is definitely visible and really cute :)

An umbrella plant of course!! I think you're right it's pulled it's stick out growing! I have some larger sticks for my runner beans???

Joan Let's hope the 1st doesn't come round too soon eh? I will be busy unpacking all those shoes won't I?

Naughty Daisycat!!! She escaped and didn't get to the vets! I think she's been so often recently that she heard the cat box and went a bit mad. Remade the apt for when Paul can help me.

Kath of course I will be in your pocket and Lucy will come too. All will be well I am sure of it ((()))

I am not impressed with that pipe at all :( I do like the pots though.

Aidan I love the rainbow :) tres pretty ;) I also love all the cakes...mmmmmm....yum!! I will have one of each - and a scone with jam first then half a tub of cornish clotted :)

Of course you can have a crafty **** on the bus....like the calorie free food in the café it does no harm there at all so I can have one too having not had one for years ;)

As for the rugby songs.....Barbara knew more verses than YOU!!!

Hello there Doofer (aka Numptynora!) it's lovely to see you in here for a cuppa :)

Barbara did your neighbour join you in the garden? is that the lady who split with her abusive partner? If so how is she doing?

Regarding the 6" heels - Lucy's not mine of course originally!!! Can you actually stand in them? She can (I hope not could) bless her and she's already about 5'6". She carried on growing when she had cancer.

Oh By the way - she has a new chap!! His name is Jake. I don't know much more, but he looks nice looking, drives is her age and uses one crutch. No idea why though. Let's hope she keeps this one eh?

    Love to everyone

Thank you for the endless supply of tea. I might have left a dusty patch and some cobwebs seeing as I've been asleep so long. Mig can have the cobwebs instead of the tadpole (I spotted it Christine).

I'm off to hossy tomorrow for the pre checks for rituximab and hoping I'll be able to stay awake long enough to chat and find out what I'm supposed to do as its all very confusing at the moment. Plus GP phoned to say I have abnormal cholesterol, that's a first for me. No cream cakes or pecan pie for me I'm afraid Aidan.

Not long until moving day Toni. The sorting is the hardest thing and nobody ever wants to throw anything away. I wonder what Daisycat will think of the new place. I hope she won't do a runner on the day like she did for the vets. Now why doesn't she realise vets can be good places? Its a bit like the dentist really.

christine remember the triffids! actually plants are a thing of beauty. I have an orchid which as lasted about 4 years now and a calla lilly which brighten up my k. You know I'm really tempted to get my k done but really should save for rainy days.

Hello Joan hope you are well.

Kath seems to be struggling. I hope your appointment went well.

    Barbara cheers for the PM's.

I've did a tiny bit of gardening but within half a hour of glorious sunshine it poured down.

Son mowed the lawn and Daughter washed the car (for pocket money) as both OH and I are getting old!

    I hope I haven't forgotten anyone...take care all
