A late evening, to one and to all.
Sorry this won't be a long post, we are both whacked and then some. SO much moving and sorting, ready for the fitters on wednesday. I could not leave everything to OH, so I have helped as much as I can and boy am I paying.
90% of carpets all up now, just one last area to do and all is ready. I decided that I would take staples out of the floor, that they fire in to hold the underlay steady.
I won't be offering again, let's put it that way.
It will be worth it as you say Toni. Not sure when Lucy has another appointment, being a big confused on Tramadol at present. :?
Mig, I used to love going to Goose Fair, it was always so packed. On the waltzers and other bone jangling rides, imagine going on one now, we would all fall to bits. It was all good fun, the louder you scream, the faster you go...............
Hi Barbara Joan Elizabeth Kath Christine and all. Apologies for not writing more. Another two days of mild chaos and we will be heading back to "normal".
Everyone take lots of care, leaving hugs, scones and George is back on the ward, for two nights. There, who says I never leave gifts, lol

Morning all..another sunny one
Aiden dont worry about posting now we kn ow you are busy..its hard work when you are in good health ..just you be careful and lots of rest and coffee in between it will son be over with and all nice and new..
Toni thinking of you both today have my candles and prayers coming your way...and sorry I didnt say about the young man..he has 3 stitches in his head..the hospital got our num out of his phone ..he lives a couple of miles away but I have known him a long time..he is fine now...
Joan hope you get those rads going I am sure they will..its the same here not much going on these days..I got all excited when our now Ald* opened .. hope you both get out and about...
Christine yes the young man is fine thanks just told Toni he has 3 stitches in his head..I am glad work will be a little easier for you young ones do make a mess..they are lucky to have you he will be nice and tidy for uni..bless..
Today hubby is suppose to be putting more of the sealant down on the drive..it takes your breath away so he has got some mask...
A cuppa and I will get moving...says me...
Love to everyone xxxxxxxLove

Barbara how nice of your hubby to take the boy home. It always pains me when I hear people are not close to their families but at least you are there for him.
Hope all goes well for Lucy and Toni today.
Fire on...gosh I'm still over heated and have the windows open. I have used those fire bricks and they are good but we also have a lot of wood drying in one of the sheds. I used to watch racing, we had our own Cosworth which used to go very fast.....but agree it can be cold, muddy and lot of waiting around.
I say perfume but I meant shower and soap which are infused with a glorious perfume and seem to last for ages. Unfortunately OH reacts badly to perfume and flowers.
Not long now Aidan before the carpets are all down and the house looks like new. I do hope you have recovered form all that moving and carrying now, you really must resist-coffee making is just as useful and important. I look forward to hearing from you when you are recovered!
Dan is at respite tonight, first time back since August and tomorrow they have 50th celebrations at his school so they are all dressing up from that era. We usually have a Chinese take way when he's not here. I'll save veg soup for tomorrow.
How are you Kath?
I hope you enjoy the fair Mig. I'm sure there will be lots of goodies to try and maybe you'll bring some to the cafe, preferably a game pie.
We finally got rid of our fish, gave them to a friend, because I really needed the space where the fish tank went. Unfortunately the cupboard I planned to buy got sidelined with all the uni sorting out and now I think its too late to get back in touch with the seller. It was just so perfect
That's sad about your Sister Christine (sorry I called you Christie before but its my ancient keyboard and it doesn't like N)- and Barbara too. I do like C******mas but not all the hype that goes with it and expectations are so high. I really just love to see the family all together.
I finally found a coat for my Son but they are so expensive. seeing as I didn't really get him much for his Birthday its not such a problem but I hope he's now stopped growing! Liz Earle will have to wait.
Joan its a different make of car. We kept the last one for 5 years and I intended to buy it if PIP was unsuccessful but I haven't yet been assessed. Not that I want to remind them...
Okay I must go and grab that sunshine as I don't think there'll be much more. Lucy at hospital tomorrow but she's seeming a lot better at the moment. And I have more blood tests as I was supposed to do a fasting one last week and started drinking juice in the night and then grabbed a spare sliver of toast and finally scooped up the remnants of my Sons cereal so had to cancel!
Take care all

Aiden, you've both been working so hard. Lots of rest once the carpets are down. Don't worry about posting. As long as we know you are ok (ish). Oh George is in tonight is he? I'm feeling very faint. Might need to have a rest in one of the beds.
Joan, I hope you get your radiators fixed. You'll be needing them soon.
Barbara, good to hear that the young man is ok. Just as well your OH could help him. Did your OH get the sealant on the drive today? I remember the awful smell when my son was putting sealant on my shed roof.
Elizabeth, my daughter is allergic to perfum in anything. She has to be so careful which soaps and washing powders she uses and can't wear perfume or deodorant. Hope you are having a restful evening and enjoy your takeaway. Hope Dan enjoys the respite and the celebrations. I don't mind too much what people call me. I realised it was a dodgy key or a slipped finger. I hope Lucy's appointment goes well and your blood tests.
Toni, is it tomorrow when Lucy sees Dr Tim? Hope it goes very well for her.
Well I came home today to find I had a new fence. I think I mentioned a while back that the people who own the house at the back of mine had put letters through all the doors of the properties their fence borders saying as it was broken, would we all pay something towards it. We all said no as there was nothing wrong with the fence that was there apart from a couple of panels down in one garden. So I'm guessing they've gone ahead as we all have new fences now.Christine0 -
Hello Barbara Elizabeth Christine and anyone else I missed.
Barbara we have to have a new pump. I hope you have a good day.
Elizabeth I hope Dan enjoys is night. and you.have a good day.
Christine we have had our rads on at night for a bit to warm the place. I hope you have a good day.

Morning everyone!
Sorry to be late on, but I have GOOD news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucy is still in remission
Christine you enjoy your side of the lovely new fence No way should any of you pay for it at all!! but I am very glad it's there
It was yesterday that she was seeing Dr I'm. It almost makes the shoulder ok? She's ok and we can sort the shoulder out somehow
I think you ought to get up now Matron George went off duty at 7!!
Morning Elizabeth. Thank you my Lucy got on ok now we will be thinking of your Lucy. Good that all is a bit better ATM, but still good she is seeing someone.
I cheated and used a fire stick Saturday night was very very cold here. My chair is furthest away from the fire don't worry!! It just looked so lovely My friend has a 'crackling candle' so she gets the sound and the flame to watch no overheating!
We have logs drying thanks to the last owners! I just thought those fire bricks are easier to lay. they are but not for so long - maybe also good
Shame your OH reacts badly to perfumes (and Christine's daughter) A lot make me feel queasy...since having the girls and all that morning sickness does he get nasty rashes?
Of course Cosworth! Nah.....racing is too cold, wet and just hard work for me!!
Anyway the girls and I get girlie nights in
I hope Dan's respite went ok and your Chinese takeaway was lovely. Enjoy your soup tonight
Shame you missed out on the sideboard there when the fish went, but probably you'll find something better.
Sadly Crystal (the fish) died, but she did spend her last day in peace and comfort.
Barbara we have another sunny one today too all that thinking of us has paid off, candles and prayers thank you ((()))
I am glad the lad was ok after his stitches. Like Elizabeth I do think it's sad to be estranged from family.
I hope the sealant is all done and wasn't too smelly :?
Thank you Joan for thinking of us Lucy is still well. Her bloods were perfect. Such a relief as I had had a couple of worries. You take care too
Today will be very hard for our Aidan I hope the fitters are good and quick so you can start getting back to normal. I bet it will look lovely and be totally worth it in about a weeks time!!
Sensible to have left George on duty for a couple of nights. I do wish he's stop doing major ops though in the bed next to me  old habits die hard eh?
Love to you all
Toni xxx
Joan I had our radiators on for an hour here and there too and we also had 2 that didn't want to work. easily sorted though0 -

Toni Its brilliant new about Lucy...less worrying for you ..lets get this shoulder sorted and then who knows what she will be up to..how is her hip doing does it feel less painful and stronger..I do hope so
Mig ..hows your chest doing..I know you were having physio for it..hope it feel easier for you
Kath good luck hope all is well..they do get you worrying
Joan glad the pump is done and you can both keep nice and warm
Christine you got a new fence..so glad you said no..especially has it didnt need doing....and yes one layer of sealant down..blimey we can hardly breath with it..
Elizabeth hope you got that Chinese..and had a relaxing night with Dan in respite.I hope Dan enjoys it then it can be a regular thing and something to look forward to..and a new coat...
The young mans family are in Birmingham but he isn't close to them, we keep an eye on him because he is on HIV meds ..he has done well on them for 6 years but this is worrying anyhow he has a brain scan next Friday..I take in all the waifs and strays..we have had a couple of homeless people here..but now we are getting on we worry about the danger side....
Tomorow is our flu jab and then my pain clinic..
Love to everyone xxxxxxLove

Thanks for asking Barbara I am a lot better in some ways the coughing has cleared up thanks to the antibiotics and no phlegm, the physio is deep breathing exercises followed by what they called huffing which is like fogging up a mirror and I see them again in december.
Our garden bin collection ends in a little over two weeks so we had part of today trying to do some clearing up ,hubby cut some shrubs back and I mowed the front lawn its not very big ,I did half the back and had to stop done too much, our daughter is going to finish it tomorrow should just need a quick trim then before bin collection finishes for the winter.Im sorry to mention this Aiden but there is a great big web between the shed and fence the ****** that lives in it must be the grandaddy of all ******.Mig0 -
Joan, have you got your new pump or are you waiting for it? At least your heating is working as it's getting colder.
Toni, you can be as late as you like if you're bringing such good news. YAAAAAAY. You can cope with whatever comes as long as you know Lucy is still in remission. Well done Lucy. Has George gone now? That's ok. I'm feeling much better now. A crackling candle? Not heard of them but they sound good. Poor Crystal but at least she was left in peace at the end.
Kath, wonder why your GP is coming to see you. Probably nothing to worry about although you probably will.
Barbara, I remember you mentioning taking in the homeless people. It is very good of you but sadly yes you do need to think about the dangers. Busy day for you tomorrow. I haven't booked my flu jab yet. Hoping they'll do it at the RA clinic which is due soon. Two appointments for the price of one.
Mig, good to hear that the coughing has cleared up. Hope the physio is helping. Our last garden waste collection was yesterday. I didn't get everything cut back in time.
Aiden, hope the carpet laying is going to plan and you are not doing too much.
It was my DIL's mum's birthday today (it was her dad's last week) so another tea party today. Almost finished clearing things out of one of the spare bedrooms to get it ready for when my daughter comes over. Just the other one to do now. It's too easy to use the rooms for storage when there's no-one else here.Christine0 -
Toni I am thrilled for Lucy and for you all. Totally fabulous.
I will read back, but at the moment, it is all I can do to even sit - one of those agony if I am sat, or stood. I need to float, that't it, a flotation tank. OH is totally pooped and I have done far more than I should. My Dr would not be happy. Ooops.
ALL the flooring is down, carpets are SO thick and bouncy, I have nearly fallen over a few times. Not used to bouncing along, lol. Vinyl flooring looks a treat, just like wood, in the hall and en suite. Bedroom is aso very plumptious.
Cats have been so good, through all the moving. It is as bad as moving house, I swear.
Sorry, I will leave Hattie and George in charge, if George keels over, Nurse Gladys will come in.
Love to all, take care, must go take more tramadol.

Morning all ..
Mig I am so glad the physio is helping you , I remember my brother saying he wish they had sent him sooner..same here with the garden we are trying to fill the bin... and yes there are spiders everywhere...
Aiden I love new bouncy carpets...glad its over with for you... strange you should mention a floating tank , I was watching them on the TV and thinking hee I would love to do that..but not sure about the end bit ..they would have to bring me down gently
Christine yes its a shame how things are now with the homeless..most are on drugs..we do have a girl in the next town, and always buy her something to eat but never give her money..you get the flu jab done with..another Tea party how lovely bet the little ones are getting all excited..
Right better go its our flu jab then pain clinic this afternoon..sorry I have already said this...
Love to all...xxxxxxLove
Barbara0 -
mig get that s****r in the cauldron ASAP!!!
Garden bin collection ending?? What?? I better check ours!!
Barbara safety first now can't be letting strangers in. You two are very kind indeed.
I always want to actually 'help' people myself. Yesterday Tia and I rescued a poorly wild rabbit before Diddicat caught her. RSPCA advised to take to vet and paid. She was blind because we caught her easily Tia and I.
Going to brave ringing the vet in a mo' to see if she is ok....I don't think she will be
Oh dear Aidan :? I agree carpet fitting is a nightmare, but sounds already worth it!!
Is the vinyl the new posh stuff? Karndean (something like that) I want the oak floorboard stuff for our hall.
I bet you can't do this:
on your new carpet. We spent a couple of hours in the waiting room at clinic trying to do it with another lad winning his leukaemia battle
It will be worth it after a few days rest.
Daisycat says
and you know what that look means!
Thank you Christine in fact thank you all we are VERY happy
I rather like the sound of the crackling candle too
You know, I think we all clutter up unused rooms so don't blame yourself and well-done for making so much progress.
Another tea-party how lovely
Let's hope the GP is coming for a good reason Kath. Hopefully the fact that it is Friday and not 'in an hour' is a good sign ((())) We will all be with you.
Right a photo to cheer you up:
Sorry about the reflection/dirty windows, but this is what I saw through the window yesterday!!!
Love to you all including
Joan and Elizabeth

Aiden, bet you are glad that's all done now. And it sounds as if you've both overdone it. I would say you should sit down now and rest but it seems you'll be in too much pain. Hope you recover quickly. My daughter went in a flotation tank a while back. She loved it.
Barbara, I think you do the right thing buying the girl something to eat. You never know what they'll do with the money. Hope it went well with the flu jab and pain clinic.
Toni, I hope the rabbit was ok in the end. I found one a couple of years ago about to cross a busy road. It let me pick it up so I assumed it was a pet. I took it to the vet who said it had myxomatosis. Daisycat is so beautiful. Love the cows. wish I could look out of my window and see them walking down the road.
Joan, I hope you don't have to wait too long for the heating pump.
Kath, it sounds as if you've been having fun going on a shopping spree. Glad things are normal-ish.
I've bought an advent calendar. I happened to see it when I was in B*yes so thought I'd get it in case they went. It's a Shopkins one for my youngest GD. I nearly got one for my middle GD but I won't see her till the middle of January.Christine0 -
Sorry everyone, but the poor little bunny did indeed have myxomatosis
They said that she would have had a horrendous death so I saved her from that at least. Not infectious to Daisycat so that's one good thing.
Yes Christine just like yours. They are too ill to care about us picking them up. Such a shame - Charley would have kept it for definite.
Advent calendars eh? I only stopped getting my kids them last Christmas  Good idea to get them early - would the cost be 'silly' to send to the middle GD??
Hi Barbara sounds as though pain clinic went ok....I hope the two adjustments make a difference to your pain levels.
I am very sorry you couldn't open the photos. Maybe today?? I hope so because the cows were great! and so TALL!!
Yes it was great to see the lad that's doing ok (but he does have hip pain :? so having an MRI) and we saw a lass who was very poorly with lymphoma got the all clear 2 years ago having another all clear check-up
Kath I am glad to hear the pressure cushions are comfy...probably very good that it's made you buy more. Hope they were a good price?
Fingers are crossed for doctors visit.
Joan I hope you are all well. Any news on your 'part' yet?
Aidan recovering a little I hope??
Love to everyone else0 -

pepper was barking in the garden yesterday I went to see he was playing with a dead rat pulling it a long I shouted he went in doors. I could not lift it. so I got a neighbour he put it in the bin.
pepper went in doors and jumped on sue's lap and kissed her.
