Morning all..sorry I didnt get on yesterday so much going on...
Aiden what a lovely pic..Pepe is a stunning colour..and .not so daft... maybe you could get a job at the garden center meet and greet...
Christine..This is it, when they are expelled, some school has to take them..I think they need a places just for bullies let them do it to one another..our eldest GD was bullied because of her weight ...thats is why she wouldn't stay in college and went straight to working ..I do hope you can get your dad and sister together ..
Toni..we have a Co op near by I will have a look for the cordials ..think I have tried so many now..I am going round in circles... is Lucy walking any better on her hip...I was wondering if the pain had been sorted..
Carol its lovely to have you in the cafe ..we do like a good chat..hope things are feeling a little better...
Joan you and Sue were tiny..like Toni say you had a good mum..that looked after you both... hope you can keep warm ..has the pump not been fitted yet...
Our son went back to work yesterday..but he say he has kidney pain ..hopefully that will have gone today ..thanks for asking everyone...
Love to all ..and hope I haven't missed anyone...xxxxx
Will make a cuppa and see if George is still around...Love

Ah, I see Toni, the washing machine and dryer phase - bless diddicat. I am certain Pepe can teach diddi a whole raft of things to do, to make owners obey their every whim at any time of day. Planking, now, there's a thing, not sure I would balance very well on railings like they seem to do.................
Speaking of pus cats, all quiet now, after hair balls, mad litter tray running about, litter throwing competitions, umpteen meals for his Lordship, a little spitting and organising of who is sitting on which armchair................................then breathe.............
Dad was an amazing man, SO SO patient, as you would be, having to do all your learning flat on your back, year in, year out.
Dad is second one up, probably about 6 or 7. Everyone was put out into the fresh air, whatever the weather.
How antibiotics changed the world and finally helped him, after so many operations.
I guessed there might be an "epidemic", with George being around, lots of feeling dizzy and faint.
You will have a lot more light, 20 foot off the top, goodness, they were tall. One of our neighbours has some wayward conifers, that are just starting to spoil our view of the hills. I have primed next door, so she will have a word with them. - whenever they appear, must be away. We could have them chopped down and then deny all knowledge.......:)
Glad Lucy is walking better, that's good to hear. I trust Paul is fully recovered from his man flu.
Hi Joan, yes, all the pus cats are spoiled. You have a good week end too, out and about. Keep warm, I know you don't like it when the weather gets chilly.
Morning Carol, I often give myself a talking to. Glad you are feeling better about things. Make yourself comfortable, I will ask George to check that all is well. I will bring out the scones and fill up the cake tin.
A cheeky Spi--- has just raced across the new carpet - much to my horror. OH dispatched it outside. The carpets are darker than the last ones, so he was disguised. Mind you, I could see him rattling along.
Barbara, I forgot to ask about your Son, so glad he was ok after getting a belt from the boiler. I am always wary of electricity, I don't think my ticker would stand 240 volts. Good that his ECG was normal, as it can shake up your cardiac rhythm, which is no surprise.
I remember when I was nursing, an engineer was in one of the plant cupboards, he got a 400 volt shock and it threw him to the floor. He had to be put back into sinus rhythm pretty darned quick.
Hope you manage to get out and have cake, keep up the good work lol.
I had better get on with some pottering. I might have an early shower too. Tennis is on and the English Open Golf, so we are square eyed.
Hi Kath Mig Christine Elizabeth and all. Everyone take care XXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
See, we did it again Barbara, posting at the same time, lol.
I could do meet and greet at the garden center - as long as I kept an eye on the scone stocks. Mind you, I would be the size of a gable end and so high on coffee I would be on the ceiling, like Trish used to be on her steroids, bless her.
Good to hear that your Son has gone back to work, Kidney pain? was that after he had the shock from the boiler.
Bullies are just weak people who crave attention. Get them on their own and they are not as brave as they would like to think.
Right, onward and upward. XXXX later AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
In honour of Jean Alexander, I thought you might like a special menu:
Betty's hot pot
Hilda's Flying Duck Pate
Street Cars biscuit assortment
Fizz and Tyrone's Apple pie
Tracey Barlow's Floral Scones
Roy's Rolls Full English Breakfast
Gemma's Kebab special
Dev's Corner Shop Trifle
Meerkat Fish and Chip Medley

Oh Kath that is a very fitting tribute menu, I am sure Jean would love it.
A sad loss of a great actress. I used to watch Corrie, back when it was witty and very well written. Sadly most of those stars of the street are no longer with us and the programme has changed beyond recognition. Even Jean said she no longer watched it as everyone was bed hopping and plotting murders.
My Cousin has watched every episode since it first started. I gave up years ago.
Right, let me think.
It would have to be Hot Pot (Ken) after a side of Hilda's fying duck pate'
She loved that Muriel on the wall.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I'm not a soap fan at all and last time I ever watched C.street was when Tracey Barlow was born! but Hilda and Stan were the best.
Christine I hope your GS is okay now. Its difficult to know whether the bullies can be trusted to be friends but I'm sure he'll keep his distance. Its a shame he got into trouble and they didn't even get spoken too.
Remember last year when I got cross with the girl who left Lu alone in town, she and her friends had some issues with Lu's group so I was a bit concerned but she's been expelled (something to do with bringing a banned object into school) and gone elsewhere.
Aidan Pepe is gorgeous. Are her eyes blue?I hope you check the dryer before turning it on each time. We got our replacement dryer in September for the fire risk product and it cost us £19 so I can't understand why they don't just replace them all.
Battery is about to die...
To be continued....Never be bullied into silence.
Never allow yourself to be made a victim.
Accept no ones definition of your life
Define yourself........

hi all
Aidan i'm often giving myself a good talking too scones and cakes sound fine but must make sure I don't eat to many cos it wont do the waistline any good. and well with Dr George about the café is sounding most appealing this weekend
Barbara yes feeling so much better today after given myself a good talking too.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Carol, nice to see you in here. That reminds me of a Pink Panther cartoon where the pink panther went in to a washer-drier and came out looking like a fluffy puff ball. Hope you can find a bed. Even if you are feeling better, you might still need a check up. For some reason, they are usually full when George is here.
Aiden, your dad might have been ill but he was obviously very strong willed. Glad his diaries are safe and sound. I've seen photos of patients all in their beds outside. It was probably a good idea although maybe not in the cold. I'm sure your coffee is being poured just as you approach the door. They'll be expecting you. There are no beds left for me. Even the extra ones are full.
Joan, wow. You and Sue were tiny when you were born. Two very strong ladies.
Toni, aaw, cute little Diddycat. You conifers had 20 feet chopped off? Crikey. They must have been some size. I've watched the first episode of Victorian Slum set in London. It made me think that my great grandparents might have lived like that but I've no idea.
Barbara, there used to be a school not far from me where the naughty children went. It's not there any more. Hope your son coped ok at work. Is he seeing someone about the kidney pain?
Kath, I never watched Coronation Street but had heard of Hilda Ogden. The menu is a fitting tribute.
Elizabeth, I'm glad the girl who was bothering Lucy has been expelled. She won't need to worry about her any more.
I had decided last night that I would have a wander round town this morning and get back soon after lunch time. Didn't leave till 12 and didn't get home till 5.30pm. The bus I got was a talking bus and at last they've got the stops right. Last time I used that bus, they had moved the town hall 2 stops on.
One of the bus drivers was brilliant. Very friendly with everyone. When one woman asked for a ticket, he suggested a different one which worked out cheaper. Then he waited patiently while an older woman got back off the bus to pick up something she dropped. Next he pulled up at a stop and waited till the dad of 2 little boys on the bus caught up with the buggy and baby. He had not got on because there was a wheelchair so no room. The driver allowed him to get on and park in the aisle. He did have to get off and back on at every stop to allow other passengers on. I got a few more little bits and pieces but am not ready yet to do Xmas shopping.Christine0 -

afternoon all raining then sunny here..
Aiden dont you worry about not mentioning our don there is so much to remember..those cats have you were they want you... I do love to watch there antics..and how they jump on a chair has soon as someone gets up because its ready warmed... the picture of your dad is amazing..I have seen this on the TV getting them outside for fresh air...how good to have the pic..and actually know which one is your dad..unlike lots of pics I have..
Joan Im glad to hear the pump is fitted...in time for the cold weather..its should last a while now..and thankyou our son is fine...
Kath I do love the menus...I have watch it form the very beginning and have some old ones on dvd...how are you getting on with the fusion ..I hope its is helping..
Carol glad you are feeling better..talking to yourself is one of my favorite pastimes.. think George is going to be busy..
Elizabeth the girls being expelled is good news..whatever is going on these day is beyond me.... must say I do love Corrie and hope its carry's on forever..not has many laughs as there used to be though..
Christine..I remember a long long time ago a school like that for the expelled..but they knock it down..and now one school in particular gets these children..not good for the others..it doesn't take much to be courteous..he sounds to be such a nice driver..I never use to but for Christmas before December..but these day I start early and week by week it doesn't seem has much..our son they says he will see how it goes before going back to the GP..typical man..
A cuppa now I think..and a sugar free biccie...sorry Aiden...
Love to everyone....xxxxxxLove

Afternoon to one and all - hope you are having as good a week end as possible. Sun is shining, after a cold start, heating on - now I am boiled and the windows are open. It's that sort of in between time for warm and cold.
Christine, yes, dad was very strong willed indeed. They did push the beds outside even when it was cold, I am sure dad said he remembers snow on the grass. Imagine doing that now, elf and safety would have a fit.
Yes, they do see us at the garden center, takes me a while to potter in, during which time the coffee has been sorted. They wait to see what everyone else wants, as it usually varies.
I will see who is hogging the beds and find you some room. I think George has left for a while. He could not contain the outbreak of swoonitis. Hattie has come in to take over, oh, I see Dr Kildaire as well.
I saw the trailers for the Victorian Slum - how times change in a 100 years. Mind you, there are some areas that would be given the same title, minus Victoria.
The best laid plans eh, glad you had a good time in town and that the bus driver was so helpful. Do they know the town hall has up sticks and moved lol. Not all drivers are the same but I am sure they have to put up with some terrible behaviour at times.
No, we are not ready for doing any Christmas shopping. We are "doing" Christmas dinner for us and mum n dad. It will be coming from Marks and Sp----, all ready to pop in and cook. I don't do peeling veg, I end up with bits of finger missing,
Joan, the **** are certainly loved, although this morning they were running riot, mother was spitting, pepe was charging around after cookie, so she ended up spitting feathers at him. Oh the joys. They soon settled and have been asleep in the sunshine for ages. Pepe has just woken up and is rolling round the new carpet, dragging himself round in circles. Mad cat.
Glad the pump has been fixed and everything is up and running. We don't want you getting cold.
hope you have had a good week end, hi to Sue and to the lovely doggies.
Barbara - Sugar free biscuits, goodness. Whatever next lol. Talking of biscuits, we had a binge on the Belgian collection, after our lunch, I dare not check my blood sugars today. Still, I don't often have a free for all and my bloods are always excellent between 4 and 5 mmols. Shame on me for being a piggy.
You are right, I do forget who has said what, even with two pages open to read through. I blame the Tramodol.
We have all the pictures from mum and dad, well, most of them. Dad spent ages scanning them all into the computer, so we have them on disk, hard drive and up in the cloud storage, just to make sure they are safe. Some of the ones from when I was little, were charred and burnt from the house fire. Mum said they got me in the pram and launched me out of the French doors. Glad they did and no one was hurt. We have nearly all of his paintings too, he was a wonderful artist. A lot are safely away, but we have some out on the walls, to admire.
Wayward children is becoming an increasing problem, a lot of parents just don't seem to bother or care what their offspring are doing.
Hope your Son is feeling better, wait and see, that was always my Mothers motto, "We will see how it goes" - er, no, go to the Drs..............
OH has a pretty rotten cold at the moment, hoping I don't catch it - touch wood, I don't seem to get many colds, maybe being a nurse for all those years has given me some immunity to various bugs. I am keeping him medicated
Well, I have lifted the duster and polish out so I will make use of it - spit spot, tidy house, tidy mind as my Aunt said.
Hi to Mig Elizabeth Toni Carol and all. Everyone take lots of care. XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Good afternoon all thought i'd pop in for a cuppa and a chat as oh is snoring away on the sofa as usual with a desert dish still in his hands so not hopeful of any conversation there, mind you there never is really any day so I suppose its situation normal
mind you Aidan if doctor Kildares in the building that's absolutely fine by me, I used to love that programme and I talk to myself quite a lot as oh as you can see from the first line of the post either spends his time asleep on the sofa or watching rubbish on the tele. at the weekend on a weekday he spends virtually all day in our spare room on his laptop. then in the evening he is usually watching tv if not asleep and woe betide you if you disturb him he like a bear with a sore head  :roll:Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Men eh Carol  Present company excepted of course Aidan.
We're better company in here any day
Would be funny if his pudding bowl fell on him
All our food is 100% calorie-free!
I am glad you are going to join us lot in here. You can't feel down with us lot!!
Aidan they did push the beds outside. The Royal orthopaedic, where Lucy goes), have photos of kids outside bless them. Your Dad looked so sweet. Thank God for antibiotics.
What a nice Christmas you'll all have with M&S food YUM!!
Naughty pusskins fighting. Sure that's where hissy-fit comes from!!
I found a disemboweled corpse (vole/mouse difficult to be sure :? ) in the basement.
Nice Which one of them taught her that little trick then??
It's difficult to discipline kids these days well we certainly found it. We felt as though we were battling a generation of naff parents as well as our kids
I hope OH gets over his man flu ASAP.
I would love a Muriel - can we have one in the café?
Joan I am very pleased to hear your pump is fixed. Just in time it is definitely colder.
Barbara Daisycat says she likes our chairs because they smell of us (nice!!!)
YES! thank you Lucy is walking quite a bit better. I am so pleased She still walks wonky, but not as bad and she says the pain is WAY better too!
I hope your Son's kidney pain has eased now men eh?!
Kath is it 'Bettys' hot pot would be great for all meat eaters Ill have some of Ena's stout and the Apple pie please
I'll have some street car biccies too for with my cuppa. Very inventive of you!
Hi Elizabeth I know what you mean about bullies - can they ever really be trusted. Still if he can remember that they are bullies because they are unhappy and inadequate in some way....
I am glad to hear that girl who abandoned your Lu has been expelled. Chances are she deserved it.
They should have replaced all our dryers ASAP. I was scared because I knew the fire risk was inside the machine at the back where we couldn't clean the fluff out
Hope your battery has recovered now!
I lost Christine???
I hope all is well with you, but I can't find your post :?
Ah found you - the town hall MOVED?????!!!!
A talking bus? What a great idea and how useful for everyone.
I think the nice driver deserves a letter of praise to the company.
Conifers:
It's TRUE!!!
he light in the garden is great now
Love

ha ha Toni to be honest I don't think he'd even notice it. thank god its empty or else think rice pudding would be a bit messy what a laugh that would be glad the café food is calorie free means me slimming world syns would be nil all the better.
Barbara I think my dog snowie thinks that way too at the moment mr turbo is out on the room at the moment and he is sprawled the whole length of the 2 seater sofa his favourite place.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Joan, thank you. I have had plenty of rest this weekend. Hope your weekend has been a good one.
Barbara, it is a good idea to start getting a few things here and there so it's not a rush or a strain on the purse. My oldest GS got an expensive bike for his birthday with everyone putting to it and him saving up his paper round money. It cost more than expected so my son lent him some money so we might be still putting money to it for Xmas. For Xmas, he only wants a £150 jacket, a £100 pair of shoes and some £60 games. I don't think he understands money yet.
Aiden, outside in the snow? Brrrrrrrr! That's a bit too much fresh air. Don't blame you getting the Xmas dinner already prepared. My DIL does the same. I've got all my parents 'real' photos and scanned them to my computer, on disk but haven't got round to putting them on a cloud. Probably won't take too long once I get round to it. Glad you were all ok after the fire. How wonderful to have paintings too.
Carol, typical man settled down too much. I find myself talking to me as there is only me here. I can't remember Dr Kildare very well. If I'm right, he is rather dishy too isn't he?
Toni, a disembowelled something? Oh yuk. Oh yes, a Muriel would be lovely on the wall in the cafe. Sorry, I was hiding behind a chair. I'm here. I've sent a message to the bus company. I think they do get a lot of hassle and complaints. I like to let them know about the good things too. Those conifers still look very high.
Crikey haven't done much again today. I'm wearing a tag which monitors my movements for a week. It's for research in to breast cancer. They'll be thinking all I do is sleep and sit.Christine0 -
Hello Barbara Aidan Christine Toni Carol and anyone else I missed.
Barbara I hope you have a good week.
Aidan I see a lot of mothers with pushchairs saying to their children have these crisps for your dinner. I hope your o/h soon feels better. have a good day.

Toni I hope all of you have a good week. with not too many problems.

Hello Barbara, Joan,
Joan I have a very loveable soppy Staffie x Dalmation he is a total nutcase. but loves all the attention and fuss. he is one big softy we have had I'm 11 yrs now he came from Londons famous Battersea dogs home when he was a year old.
Aidan wow that's a bit chilly outside in the snow wouldn't of liked that.
Applerose yep I agree with you 100% sometimes I think I might as well talk to myself or the wall even sure i'd get more sense out of that. yep Dr Kildare was very dishy indeed.
Well I start another I hope things will improve although I don't suppose there will be much change from mr turbo even though I told him last night I still cared about him dispite him being a cranky old B****r he he he might be a bit subdued for a couple of days but it wont last Men why do we put up with them. men on this forum excluded of courseStay positive always👍xx0 -
How do you spell BLEUGH?
I used to love Dr Kildare. I remember when he made a recording of the theme tune. "Three stars will shine tonight....Dah de de dah dah."Sorry, I don't remember the rest. But then I can't sing anyway.
Oh Joan, that is so familiar. Crisps for dinner. I gave mine crisps, but as a snack after dinner.
Christine, I love the idea of a Muriel. I'd love one with all the various puss cats and doggies playing in Toni's garden. Lovely.
Aidan, are you free tomorrow? We could do with a spit and spot tomorrow. Lots of coffee and scones going.
Right, I hear Hilda singing. "da diddy dum de dum" How we'd love some old episodes of Corrie to watch."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

afternoon all..bloods this morning and a chest xray..I have been coughing for ever ..but pout it down to these sinuses..we shall see..
Kath Dr Kildare..I remember the nurses having his pic on the wall when I was in hospital..in the 60s...
Carol sorry I missed you yesterday..my OH goes off to bed then he doesn't get disturbed.. .maybe let the dog jump on his knee..oh we are awful... I do love staffies my niece has a white one she is adorable..
Toni so glad Lucy is walking a little better..hopefully her gait will come back..I think our son is still suffering..buts its a new job and he doesn't want to lose it..its a good job he had rubber soles on his shoes..
Aiden I did sugar free for a few years and lots quite a lot of weight..and thought the sugar was out of my system...little did I know... it must be like giving up drinking...
Joan hope you are both ok..I was thinking of you today I had a jacket potatoes with cheese and beans...
Christine..I blame our generation for giving our children what we didnt have, me and OH I mean not you.. ...they never struggled like we did so spend what they have..our eldest GD spend whats she makes but the middle one 15 can save and buy bargains..oh you had better move around..bet it feels strange being monitored..
Right move I must...there is lemon drizzle cake in the tin..not sugar free...
Love to everyone xxxxxxxLove

Afternoon to one and all, hope the day is as good as can be.
Carol, you can natter away in here, as much as you like, there is usually someone around and I am always up until the wee small hours. My Snore can best please himself, just needs to be careful of a bowl of hot custard on the lap
I quite agree, what are men like eh. As said, forum members are excluded from the list. We are a funny breed, I blame the moon.
You make yourself at home, coffee and cakes, as many as you like, no sins, we don't have sins, just more cake
I used to watch Dr Kildare as well, it was a good programme, back in the day. I am certain he will look after everyone very well, good bedside manner.
Glad you told the OH he was a b
but you still care. Maybe the penny will drop a little. Let's hope so. Good that Snowie took over the sofa, way to go
Ewwww, Toni, the remains of some garden creature. Diddicat is being naughty, depositing them in different places. It wasn't Pepe, he as been asleep, unless they communicate by telepathy (which I think cats do anyway). I will have words
Of course we can have a Muriel..............
You are right, we are battling a couple of generations of could not care a damn parents. Shame, simple manners have gone west. That's why it is nice to hear when our friends on here have met people who actually care, like the bus driver.
Those conifers are HUGE, they are still huge, even with the top 20 foot taken off. No wonder there is more light  It will be like Super Trooper stage lighting.
Glad Lucy is in less pain and walking is a bit easier.
Christine, good to hear that you have had plenty of rest over the week end. I think a lot of us had a bit of a kick back and tried to chill out a bit. I would spend more time at the computer, if it didn't hurt so damned much  I like just browsing, Ebay and Amazon, see what's trending.
Christmas will be expensive for you with the list from your GS lol
Good that you have the pictures scanned too. No, it doesn't take long to send them up to cloud storage or dropbox, they are both good, as a back up.
I like it cool, but I would not have liked being out in the snow.
I talk to myself as well, OH says did you say something and I will just say, don't worry I was talking to the cupboard or the pills, or the washing.........bless.
The tag must be like a fitbit or whatever they are called. Monitors steps or movements. It would have to monitor stumbles and grumbles too.
Joan, crisps for dinner, is not dinner. The amount of junk food is just so readily available these days. I don't remember having crisps at home, or many sweets. If we went out, you had an ice cream in the hot weather. I do remember Wimpy, that was a huge treat if you went there. Now there is a burger joint on every street corner.
Thank you I am sure OH will be ok, I am keeping him medicated. You all take care
Kath, I think that's how you spell bleugh, although not really sure.
oh a muriel with the pus cats and dogs would be lovely, along with the big hedge at Toni's.
Yes, I am free tomorrow, we have no plans to go out, if you need me to flick wildly with the duster, I will do. Scones will be very welcome. Are you having a "do".
Hope the bloods and x rays are ok Barbara, best to check, if you have been coughing for a fair while. There are a lot of people about, coughing and barking, more often these things are viral and self limiting, but it is worth a check up.
I never used to like sweet things, I never had sweets as a child, Mother used to give me a carrot to chew and I always helped with the dogs bone apparently, me at one end and Judy at the other. Plus I liked Bonio's and Shapes.
Now, I have to have a bit of something sweet, a few biscuits in an afternoon, or a scone in a morning if out. ( I will be sneaking some lemon drizzle, thank you).
I must move too, I am setting rapidly. Hi to everyone who I have missed, Elizabeth, Mig and all..........
Catch you later, take care all XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Oh Aidan!!! Tia used to love bonios too!!! What are you both like?? big bleugh!!!
Been down to the basement (which will be Lucy's room when she's had her shoulder done ), today there's been anuthar murrrda! Well two more actually she is a serial killer.
Cats do communicate telepathically I am convinced of it.
Anyone been watching X factor??? Do you like HoneyG?? diddicat is singing..." To the D to the I to the double D I, it's me! Diddi C!"
Thanks for the Muriel it's lovely
You're right about the garden sans trees!! need sunglasses now
Barbara I hope all tests come back ok or if not with something fixable. ((()))
It is a good job your son had rubber soles. the hospital were happy with him though?? If he's still struggling he needs to book a DRs apt maybe?
Thanks for the lemon drizzle having it with a cup of decaf tea. thanks
Kath you are right I would love some old corrie episodes to watch
Hilda's singing was so funny wasn't it? Big sigh
I think you spelled bleugh exactly right!
Carol two doggies then? I like in Staffordshire so lots of Staffies here and every single one I have met is adorable with their big wide smiles and silky backs
Absolutely present company excepted men can be really odd
no syns at all in here enjoy it ALL!
Joan no!! Not crisps for dinner? Disgusting mind you I remember it must have started when we were little there were one or two would bring crisps in and eat them at morning playtime for their 'breakfast'!!!
Thank you all seems well here. I hope the same with you and Sue and doggies
The conifers are still quite high, but the hide houses behind Christine and we had two more half bodies in the basement. Daisycat said that she is catching them and keeping the tails to sell to the ratchatcher for money towards Lucy's shoulder
Well-done complimenting the driver I hope he gets a pat on the back from he bosses.
I complimented felix (purina?) on their 'as good as it looks' chicken which Daisy eats. They sent me a thank you and a voucher! Nice surprise
Oooh 'on tag eh?' I had suspected..... I have a fitbit on and try to do 5,000 steps a day or at least 'move' every hour.
Right onwards and upwards!
Love to everyone
Toni xxx0 -
Oh I am so glad I am not alone in liking bonio's when a wee bit younger. Now, I still like Farl---- Rusks, or I did, they have probably changed them and taken out all the sugar etc.
Diddicat is indeed a serial pest controller. Never mind saving the tails for the rat catcher Miss Puskins. I know she wants to help, but that is a bit much I haven't seen the X factor (gave up watching a few series back, it was all too contrived and fake). I will have a look at the one you said, Honey G, they will be on You Tube already.
Glad you like the Muriel - I used to love Hilda's "singing", bless her.
I had a long run in with Prurina, over their felix pouches. I had loads of them that were overcooked and over processed. They sent lots of vouchers and many letters of apology after their investigations. Pepe was not happy. The vet said he wasn't to have them, as it had upset his tummy, on numerous occasions. It is nice to compliment companies though and I do like to write to the ones that exceed expectations.
I always send feedback about our Nero visits and other ones like Mark's and Tesco - never win the prizes though. Ho hum.
I forgot to ask about your Son Barbara, I hope he is feeling better, and if not Matron will be escorting him to the Surgery New job is good, but health is foremost, to carry out new job. I won't lecture, lol.
It is OH Birthday today, 21 again. lol. We won't be going anywhere as he is not feeling well at all. I will continue with the nursing duties.
MIL has not been feeling too good either, more pain, so Dr has given her stronger pain killers. We will see them on Wed, don't want her to get the cold, she has enough to contend with.
Right, I will away. Duffy and Charlie are on tonight, so we are in safe hands.
Everyone take care, XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Joan the bloods are mainly for my kidneys but they do the bone checking has well..and you are right about the owner of dogs...its is usually down to them that they are viscous....
Toni..Daisycat is enjoying herself...bet she cant quite believe it....Honey G I have a mutter about the talent they have let go..then when she is on I find myself singing along.. just wish she would write another song...
Talking of complimenting people..we have a new pub opened up..and we tried there food the other day..the young people were working so hard..and very courteous so I emailed them when we got home..it must make a change to them not getting complaints...

Ho Joan Barbara Toni Mig Christine Elizabeth Kath and all..............
Thank you Joan and Barbara, Birthdays and colds, oh dear, not good timing, but that cake will make things a lot better.
Keep yourself warm Joan, it has been pouring down here and is very windy, leaves blowing all over.
If you are out and about, keep wrapped up. Do the doggies wear coats too ?
Sorry if I was lecturing, I didn't mean to. Just have known people put things off so many times, not getting things checked out, Mum was a terror for doing it - until I made the appointment and we took her No getting out of it now Mother, get your coat. Either that or I will ask them to come to the house...........
Hope the bloods come back ok and the bone studies.
I think a free meal at the pub, for writing them a lovely email, it is the least they could do, well, a free cake, if nothing else. It does restore some faith in humanity when young people are polite and professional.
On the opposite side, I wrote to the CEO of Costa, about one of their coffee stores, that we go to occasionally. It was a tip, the chairs were stained, the tables were dirty, pots all over the place. We had to use my hand gel to clean the table, the tissues were black !!
Well, they wrote back and said that things would be put right........a while later, the whole place had been re fitted, new chairs, tables, plants etc, everything spick and span......... not a dirty cup in sight. Rightly so when you are serving the public, it needs to be clean as a new pin. I did write and thank them for the vast improvements.
Hope you had a nice time out with your Niece. Was cake involved? Don't let me down now Barbara.
We are staying put today, keeping warm and keeping OH medicated. We will go into town, (Skipton) tomorrow and pop into Nero's - I am getting serious cafe withdrawals at the moment and need large mugs of coffee and large pieces of cake. My nerves won't stand another day, lol
Right, better move - hope everyone else is ok, no more mini meeces in the basement Toni.
Everyone take care. Cake time
