Toni, I didn't know you could get windows demisted. I thought you had to renew the whole pane. My frames need replacing too so I'll need the whole lot. I feel sorry for your bot working hard in all that mist. Hope Lucy enjoyed getting her nails done. Enjoy your takeaway.

Joan, hope you and Sue and the dogs are having a good weekend.

Barbara, it is good to see the sun even if it isn't warm. How lovely to hear that Niamh has a good memory and is polite. That's down to her parents and grandparents.

Carol, I think it is only right that people are vetted before they are allowed to have animals. Too many evil people get them. Hope you enjoyed meeting up with your friend.

Kath, those mug cakes look yummy. I've only ever made one. Hope you are feeling better after your infusions.

Just been to open the back door to find out which one of my neighbours is having a very noisy party. It isn't any of them. it's the fair in the High Street. It's a mile away but sounds as if it's just outside my house. I can hear a man shouting asking if everyone wants the rides to go faster and the music.

A late hello to one and all.
I am trying to read back and getting in a right muddle.
Diddicat had fat neck syndrome, oh yes, I know that well. My last Siameses had walkies harnesses - well they loved a walk, but trying to get them on, they used to fall over, loose their legs, necks vanished - like come on boys, if you want to go walkies, then we are putting these on.
Glad she is fully attired now. Lucy having her nails done, very nice, curry night, even nicer, meetings in the shed, it's all going on in that village. I see you were too warm as well, going all French on me, lol. Give me the phone and I can argue with the EDF or France Telecom till the cows come home. 8)

I never used to mind working over Christmas, we used to have such a laugh on the wards, making the patients time as happy as it could be, with us all dressed up in tinsel and baubles. Even the odd sherry, but don't tell anyone. Oh and hundreds of chocolates.

Christine, I can hear you singing from here. Hope Frozen is enjoyed by one and all. Not seen it, maybe not my cup of T. I have heard the song and it kind of gets in your head. I am sure we will all be singing it, ensemble'

Barbara I am certain you enjoy your times our. I know I do. Without OH and our car, I would be pretty much stuck, we are up in the woods, ok there are others around, but in general it would be pretty quiet. I cherish the times we go out and about, not far I know, but even more so with mum being so ill, every day is special.
I am sure all will be ok tomorrow. One lot of family have arrived at mums, they are all ok and mum sounded fine this evening. BIL wife and two kiddies arrive tomorrow, kiddies, they are both at senior school now. They are not stopping over, just coming for the meal and a natter and to see Mum and Dad.
Good to hear of Niahm's positive report. 2 up from 1, not sure what that means either ?

Kath those cake cups look wonderful, we need them, in large quantities. There should be just about enough chocolate, maybe a sprinkling more.

Joan I hope you are both ok and the doggies. Do they take a lot of grooming, I know our cats do and even then Pepe has knots that have to be attacked with the clippers (that is a performance and a half, believe me).

Carol hope you had a good time with your friend and you will have to sneak when OH is not on the laptop, me, cut the wires, no, not me love :)
We were vetted when we had our last siamese boys, it was like the third degree, but they knew we were cat people from the outset. I wanted them ALL.

Off to the fair and tell them to be quiet. How rude, disturbing the peace. Mind, better a mile away than on the high street.........

Right I had better move, the dryer has finished so I can fold some pus cat bedding. Take the mountain of fluff out of the filter. Enough to stuff a cushion I bet. They are all asleep, as if butter would not melt.

Hi to anyone I have missed. Everyone take care. Dr Kildare is on with Matron over the week end. Capable hands.

    Dr Kildare is on?

You know what Aidan I think we ought to make cat cushions filled with cat fur!! Why not it is soft and fluffy :)

There was a cat video on youtube (no don't go on there it's a good time-waster!!!) with a cat who plays dead when his lead goes on!!

I have managed to adjust Diddicat's collar With the help of her daddy AKA Paul  It's Princess pink and reflective with her name and phone number on it :) Not her mobile our house phone you understand ;)

Did you agree it was trop chaud?? EDF  Don't get started with them whatever you do not good for your BP!

I am glad to hear Mum is ok and visitors are being sensible so far. I hope you have a lovely day.

Christmas can be one of the best days ever to 'work' in the caring profession. I have never regretted one day spent with people who I could help.

Sorry Christine they did remove the panes (inside ones) and replaced them, but it really was cheap. If you know anyone to help or can do it yourself(??!!) in the past we actually bought one from wickes and put it in!

The poor bot was 'grounded' this morning on top of a very large mole hill!!

    Bless him!

Where you live sounds great always lots going on there. I hope the Fair didn't go on too late though?

I think it's right that people are vetted too and I hope eventually no-one can get hold of an animal who isn't 'fit'!

Carol I reckon a nice builders would go down with one of those 'cup-cakes' don't you?

Evil people shouldn't be allowed animals of any sort, but it breaks my heart to think of them being ill-treated and made to fight/breed :(

Kath yes PLEASE!!! Sorry about Diddicat being starkers she is now fully attired and looking rather dapper :)

    Perhaps she was too hot!

I am not French, but my Mum was and my Dad was Hungarian.

Barbara Lucy had special nails done. A sort of metallic effect?? After her nails were done they brushed a powder into them. She has a photo maybe she'll let me copy it.

I hope that they mean Niamh is improving with her ASD. I'm sure they do - she sounds bright and good to hear well-mannered.

It would be nice to have a sunny week wouldn't it to get the gardens straight before winter arrives.

    th_20161021_175159.jpg

    th_20161020_112014_1.jpg

I hope this is the window seat I have been making :) As soon as she' sussed it I think Daisycat will be on it!! Couldn't have a window like that without a seat!

Joan I think in general colds last a week, but some can drag on can't they? I remember on which started from nowhere...no itchy throat....with a runny nose!!

I hope you all have a good weekend :)

    Love

Let it go, let it goooooooooo. Can't stop singing that now. It was a brilliant show. The dancers were amazing. My GD loved the first half but she was tired and got a bit fed up during the second half. On the way out, daddy bought her a Rapunzel doll. She jumped up and down and squeezed the doll. She loved it.

Aiden, I can just imagine you trying to groom Pepe. My daughter's dog stands for about 1 minute then squirms to get away and no way will he let anyone touch underneath. Dr Kildare this weekend. Think I need a check up. Hope mum is enjoying her visitors.

Toni, I think cat fur cushions would be lovely and squishy. Diddycat's collar sounds very pretty. Poor bot having to be rescued from the top of the molehill. The fair usually closes up between 10pm and 11pm depending on the weather and how many are there so not too bad. Oh yes, I'd love to see Lucy's nails. I could certainly do with more time for the garden. I'd love a window seat like that. When I was a teenager, I used to sit on my bedroom windowsill. Only problem was it was only about 4 inches wide.

Joan, that was a good idea your friend had to cut up the throw in to pieces. My dad seems happy enough although he says one thing and then the complete opposite in the next sentence so I think he's getting a bit more confused.

Last night of the fair. If I go down to the High Street first thing in the morning, there would be no sign of it at all. As soon as they are finished tonight, they will dismantle all the rides, pack them up and move out. We are their last stop before winter.

My daughter has decided not to come for the funeral. She feels it would be too much stress for the kids and for her husband and his dad as they are in quite a state still. They will come at mas though so it should be a better visit.

Oh dear, I can hear singing, let is snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
    :lol::lol:
Yes Toni, I agree, we could have one stall with cakes, (mind you, I would not be able to sell them, they are only to look at). The other stall can be cat fur cushions. Very soft, ( I think we are nearly caught up with the darlings bedding / throws / fleeces / pillows / not that they are spoiled rotten.

That is just what Jason used to do, play dead, lol...........so funny. Diddicats collar sounds wonderful. We have promised Tosca a real diamond one when we win the lottery - she is not holding her breath.

Yes I think I did agree, I was having one of my "moments" at the time. EDF - oh the phones calls I have had with them in the past. When we left our second house, a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere, we did our final reading and they sent a bill for 1500 Euros. I rang and I was off, I am paying a final bill for three months in the most diddy house, not the bl---- village. RELIRE (read it again). They did and it was 200 and change. Huh. You aint getting the better of me, I can speak your language, even more so when I am mad.

Fancy poor Bot, on top of a mole hill,:lol::lol: Bless him all over.
The window seat is just lovely, the view is a rural idyll. I have been spoiled with views of lovely Churches, with Dad being a Rector. I was always happy to wander around the Church grounds, day or night.
Lucy's nails sounds fab u lous, piccy please to all to see :) I think OH will be out in the garden tomorrow, seeing as the weather is set fair at the moment. Lots to tidy up, as you say, before winter.

Hi Joan, OH cold is much improved thank you. He has been well medicated. If Matron cannot afford some medical assistance from my extensive pharmacy, then no one can, lol.
I bet the doggies love a brush, all our cats do, well, they do to a point, then they let you know they have had enough, either biting the brush, or your hand

There you are Christine, still singing I hear. Glad you had an amazing time and a doll too for your GD. I guess it is a long time to sit. Any aches and pains will be looked after well by Dr Kildare.

I bet it has been extra noisy, being the last night of the fair. I used to love the waltzers, now, I would come off in bits.

I can understand your Daughters thinking, about the funeral and to keep to the plans for Christmas, as you say, it will be a better visit. (((((((())))))

Our day went well. the 7 of us went to the pub and met up with the other 4, who were stuck in traffic, but were not really late. We all ate at the same time ish.
The pub is called the lower buck, in waddington, worth looking up, the village is beautiful, less than a mile from us. Our village is always in competition with them for best kept village.
Mum was ok, super tired at any exertion, hardly ate enough to keep a mouse happy, but, she was determined to enjoy the family get together. We said, perhaps Mum and Dad would like to go home and have a nap and everyone else come round to us for an hour or two. So I was busy fussing in the kitchen, sorting drinks,Belgian biscuits.......everyone had a good natter and a catch up. Then I was about pooped and everyone ambled round to mum and dads - tomorrow they are all going back down south.

Oh, guess what, we have two mirrors in one of the kitchen cupboards, that oh used to use for hair dressing. Well, I dropped them both, I held my breath and said NO - neither of them so much as cracked. PHEW. He said, I leave the room for one minute and there is an almighty crash. lol. It's a shame.

Time to move, hi to mig, kath, elizabeth and all.................if the cats allow I think an extra half hour in bed. Serious toothache at the moment, I think one needs to come out asap.

Take lots of care XXXX Aidan

    Morning Aidan

I intend to make Diddicat into a diamond when she goes (in at least 20 years time!!!). I couldn't let her wear one even if I did win the lottery!!!

Tosca would most definitely suit one though and I think she would look after it too :)

Well done you beating EDF like that :) They did indeed relire!! that sounds a far more satisfactory bill. I am sure they try to con people who can't speak up for themselves.

I'm glad you like the window seat - I do too and like you Graveyards hold no fear for me. Churches are beautiful.

I am so glad everyone made the meal in time traffic permitting and think your idea about entertaining them all to give Mum and Dad a break was a really good one. Bless you I know you will have suffered too.

I am very relieved to hear that those mirrors didn't break  BIG phew!!! NOT so good news about the tooth :(

I promise to get a photo of the nails later.

Christine how sweet is your GD!! I think the shows are a bit long for wee ones, but that doll will be treasured :)

It's raining now so no chance of getting in the garden today :(
Poor Bot yes I think he was panicking a bit ;)

I was the same with my window - I wonder if the caused my back problems!!! It's a real sun-trap and we all love it. 4 of us can sit on it side by side or I can lie on in on my own (or maybe Daisycat!!!) :D

I tend to agree with your daughter the kids are a bit young for the funeral, it will cost a lot more and better that Christmas is about Christmas. I think their presence over the festive period will help comfort them,

Good that the Fair is done and dusted - peace is restored!

Hi Joan :) Glad you saw me in time! The throw idea is a good one - it keeps the hairs off furniture that matters - Daisycat likes wherever I have sat probably because it smells of me

I hope Barbara is ok...I am sure she is hopefully busy as well as Carol and Elizabeth and of course kath.

Right a quick clean up now

Afternoon to one and all - after a day of rest - hah, we have only just got in, lol.

Anyway, hi Toni, we can wander through the Church yards, mind, if it dark, I will be falling headlong over stones and kerbs, so if I vanish, I will sound my whistle.
We can turn them all into diamonds, which they are already of course. (apart from when they use the tray and run total riots).

Oh yes, some people tried it on big time in France. One was the Maries secretary, I asked her for an appointment, twice, in perfectly clear French and both times, she said je ne comprend pas.  In the end after I said it a third time, slowly and even more clearly, we got there, miserable minny. The mayor was lovely. She was the worst, everyone else, from day to day, were just so wonderful and kind.

Yes, I think Mum will have appreciated the fact that we entertained the troops for a while. Yes, it took its toll on me, but that's par for the course and we get on and keep going. We will ring later and pop out for a quiet coffee and cake in the morning, if she is up to it.

You and me both, with the mirrors, I only wanted to look in one, they both came out and went flying. :o  OH always says he is more worried if there is no noise from wherever I may wander. I usually leave a trail of destruction and clattering pots, etc etc........bless, not my fault I cannot feel much in my fingers.

The cafe is looking very neat and tidy, thanks for the dust busting. I will change the beds, hospital corners of course. Doogie Howser is on duty for a couple of days, with Hattie, to make sure all is as it should be.

Do I still hear Christine singing. I had to laugh in Tesco's today, there were loads of Frozen outfits and dolls and singing things.......I did think of you singing away.

Kath the menu is just fabulous. Sweet potato and dahl then sponge and custard, thank you kindly. Oh, pannetone, I think I might need to have that too, they are glorious, soaked in butter. :)

Me, pinch your post Barbara, nah, not me, it was Toni, lol.

oh yes, we all await pics of nails, Barbara and I are waiting, eyes peeled. :?
Let's hope you get to meet up with your Niece this coming week.
Yes, Mum was definitely tired out, we could tell, even before we all went out, I knew she was putting on a very brave face. Determination kept her going and I sat with her at the table, to make sure all was well - nurses have a scanning mechanism, built in. We know when things are "a bit iffy" even when the person says oh I am fine.
Men do have a different brain, I read somewhere about it, but, being a man, I have forgotten, lol :lol: I won't count myself in the general loop - 8) 8)
Hope you enjoyed your time with Niamh, watching video's, you tube is so funny, there are so many good things to watch, from full length films and shows to every clip imaginable.

We went out for a drive, lovely with all the trees turning golden colours. Of course we ended up at the Tesco Extra, they have a Costa ( I know, deserting the ship).
    20161023_124457_zpsculp92vk.jpg

I didn't eat both muffins, although I could have done, quite easily. Had a mushroom and emmental toasty as well, delicious.

Then we had a little potter around, bought another laptop - don't ask, we have more computers than PC world. Well, it was on special offer...........why not eh.
Then popped into what was the factory shop in town, it has a new name now - I forget. Got two pairs of trousers for £30, two pairs of joggers for £20 - trousers fit a treat, happy days. Comfy and easy care, that's what we like.

Right. the tramadol is kicking in for the relief of toothache, better move and have some biscuits.

Hi to everyone else, take lots of care XXXXXX Aidan

Aiden, it certainly pays to keep a close eye on anything we pay for. My son several times been asked to pay a lot more for fuel or tv. I'm glad Dr Kildare was here last night. I did indeed have aches and pains from sitting so long. Yes, I'm still singing. I went on the waltzers when in my 20s. The young lad spun the chair round fast and my head was stuck to the back with the force. I've had problems with my neck ever since. And never been on them again. Sounds as if you all had a wonderful time. Glad mum and dad made it, despite it being tiring. Hope you can get your tooth sorted out soon. Another laptop? Why not if it was on offer. I'm sure it will come in handy. And some bargain trousers.

Toni, my boss's house where I work is across the road from a church yard. It always seems so peaceful. A lot of people go wandering round reading all the old head stones.

Kath, I think I'll try the chicken stir fry with peanut sauce and as usual I can't decide which pudding so might have to try them all. I think we'll all be fighting over Toni's windowsill.

Barbara, my sil is on his way over to his dad's now. My daughter isn't coming now but they will all come just after Xmas. Things should have settled a bit by them. Watching on a video link is a good idea. I read a couple of the Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. I think they made some sense but don't tell the men that. Hope you're having a lovely time with Niamh.

Woke up this morning at 10am :o to brilliant sunshine so thought I might get out in to the garden. By the time I'd had breakfast, it was looking grey outside and has been raining. As it seems is now tradition here, it rained heavily last night so the fair wrapped up by 10 pm. Usually they pack everything away and there is no sign they have been here by first thing on Sunday morning but someone posted a picture at 9 am and they were still there. Very unusual. I made some tomato and veg soup for lunch. Must have had a bit too much as I've felt full all afternoon. Still do and it's tea time. :?

Those nails look lovely and very long and well manicured Lucy. Diddicat is positively glowing with her new collar.

n015.gif What has been happening on the window seat  :? It seems to be uber popular at the moment, an extension might be needed, or a rota...........

Glad that Dr Kildare managed to be of help Christine and hope the pains are easier.
I am not surprised you damaged your neck, they used to pick on people on the waltzers and if you were going nuts, they used to spin you even faster, it was like being glued to the back of the seat.

Yes, OH is busy away with the new laptop, at the side of his main PC, it is very good, neat, light, easy to carry about. Ideal. The trousers are just right. I bought one pair last week, they cost £60, I nearly choked when I saw the ticket. They are going back this week, they are very nice, but I would not be "comfy" in them, for any length of time.
Mum will see how she feels and may or may not come out to the garden center in the morning. Play it by ear. She will be super tired from all the family gatherings.

I will have to be looking at this Men are from Mars books -

Hope you SIL has safe travels and is ok, a difficult time indeed. ((((()))))
Pity you didn't get the chance to go out into the garden, we had a shower as well, out of the blue, literally. It is cold tonight and yes, the heating is on, much to the joy of the pus cats.

The soup sounds lovely, maybe eating all the puddings from Kath's menu, filled you up a wee bit, lol.

Right, time to potter. I am getting looks from Pepe - more food.

    all take care, XXXX Aidan

Familiar the grub might be, but welcome it is Kath :)

There was quite a queue outside the café this morning!! I've put my order in quick; the feta and the dhal pies for me :D

Left chocolate and the fruit bowl near the window seat today.

Barbara I bet you and Grandad loved having Niamh while her Daddy was at work. Gave her Mummy a break too :D

I think it's a fabulous Church too. I'm going to get a slate name made for the bottom of the garden the delivery men struggle with there being no numbers here and several including ours with 'Church' in the name. I can have a photo of it etched on too in Black and White :)

Poor you spending time in hospital at 17 over the festive period :( You could relate to Lucy alright then in hospital at the similar age to her.

Yes why not make is into diamonds?? I would rather be a diamond than under ground when I go. Not cheap though is it?

Aidan we had a costa yesterday too - naughty naughty!! I had the roasted veggie and halloumi cheese focaccia.

Another laptop?? It rather sounds as though your beloved is over his cold now!!!

I'm glad you like the nails you can have any colour underneath with the metallic effect powdered on :) I hadn't realised that you can see Diddi's collar so well - it's luminous so she's safe if she's ever out in the dark :)

Today I need to go to M&S to get a pressie for the girls' Grandad.

Their Dad caused upset yesterday the eejit by visiting his parents (remember he lives in Devon with his gf and two new daughters) seeing Charley (he's always favoured her) telling them all not to tell Lucy then telling her himself.

Charley got all the blame from Lucy so we spent hours settling her back down.

Two of my friends have a yorkie who was startled by the sound of a firework the night before last and has lost use of her back legs. She's had a steroid jab into it, metacam and doggie tramadol too bless her. You reminded me taking tramadol yourself!

She's their baby bought while one of them was on breast cancer treatment :( I hope she's ok :(

Christine we started off with rain and ended up with sunshine sorry I didn't mean to blow it your way. I have still got Cris Skezier's bellows you see

I will be hard for your daughter not to be with your sil, but she is doing the right thing for the children I think. I am thinking of him :(

Gosh you must have eaten loads Christine I hope your belly has recovered from the soup?

I reckon the Fair couldn't pack up while it was so wet maybe?

Love to Joan hope the doggies are ok.

Elizabeth, Carol and anyone else I missed ((()))

I couldn't sleep. After a pretty good day, I had quite a lot of pain but eventually dropped to sleep - then promptly fell of of bed. Yesterday most of my pain had gone, now today its back again. :? I'm dreading tonight. the physiotherapist/occupational therapist is coming to assess me tomorrow. I wish I'd spent another night on Toni's window seat (sorry there was a bit of a mess).

Joan, any of the puddings really, but I quite fancy the Maple-roasted marrow on cavolo nero salad.

Aidan, I was wondering what you'd been accused of pinching.

Toni, I love Lucy's nails. They look beautiful. Goodness me. What has been going on on the window seat? I see the girls' dad has been causing problems again. Why on earth would he not want to tell Lucy? Did he not want to see her? Hope the girls are ok with each other after that. I think it's time they banned fireworks. I enjoy watching them but they cause so many problems. Hope the little yorkie is ok. So it was you and Cris's bellows causing it to rain here. And I haven't got enough puff to blow i back again.

Aiden, Hope mum is feeling ok today and not too tired. That is a lot of money for trousers if you won't wear them. I would be taking them back too. Maybe it was Kath's puddings that filled me up. I did have a few of them.

Joan, you're right. A lot of people find themselves in pain and it can be traced back to something that happened when they were much younger.

Barbara, at least your window cleaner's chin will be warm. It is amazing how much sugar there is in ready made foods and it does make them tastier. I don't use sugar at all except once or twice a year when I like pancakes with sugar on. I bought some stevia (natural sweetener) about 4 weeks ago but have only used a teaspoonful once. Sounds as if Niamh wore you out. Maybe a good thing if you slept well.

Oh Kath, you poor thing falling off the bed. No wonder you are in more pain again. I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight and the physio can help you tomorrow.

I went to donate blood today but couldn't as my haemoglobin was 1 point below what it needed to be. I felt a bit disappointed as it would have been my 50th and also the receptionist told me that my blood was going to the neonatal unit. The nurse who was checking my blood looked at my notes and told me that my blood always goes to the neonatal unit. Apparently, I've got special clean antibodies. :D When I got home, there was a lovely postcard with a picture of lovely Australian birds on one side and on the other a message from my 5 year old GS. So although I was disappointed at not donating blood, I've had a big smile on my face. :D

    Evening all!

Joan friends are the family we choose ourselves :)

Lucy's nails should last for about 3 weeks until they've grown too much and look silly. Thank you she loves them.

Barbara he has always favoured Charley who tries to balance things, but I told him a thing or two when she was ill. Too little too late and imagine putting Charley in that position!! Hummph!

Lucy does lovely hairdos even with her sore shoulder and would have loved your hairpieces. :)

Sounds like you were really ill in your teens I wonder if that ill-health has any bearing on your kidneys now...??

Hahaha! Niamh is the best sleeping tablet then!!

Oh Kath :( I am sorry - imagine you falling out of bed! I hope you do sleep ok tonight - if you don't feel free to hop on the window seat I've added a couple of etxra cushions today ((()))

Sorry Christine it was me using Cris' bellows
the little Yorkie had surgery today bless her to remove a herniated disc (phew!) and some debris) We hope she can go home by the weekend fingers and paws crossed.

I honestly think there should be only organised firework displays and then only the week before and after Nov 5th too :(

I am sorry about your blood and thank you for donating it from the bottom of my heart. on behalf of everyone who needs it especially those with cancer and those neonatal babies.

That picture came on the right day :D

    Love to everyone!

Thank you Joan, I slept much better last night.

Christine, I'm glad you enjoyed the puds.

The Community Therapist came to assess me today. She weighed and measured me. I've shrunk from 5 foot 2 inches to 4 foot 11 inches. And I've lost 2 stone since the Osteoporosis diagnosis. :( .

A late evening to one and all. Quite where the days go I do not know............
Toni I hope the upset has subsided, that was a pretty mean trick to put it lightly. I am sure oil has been poured on troubled water. (((())))
Diddi is certainly reflective, with that collar, she can be seen from the space station. All our pus cats and doggies and pets are already little diamonds, apart from when they are creating havoc at 6 in them morning.
So we both went to Costa, great minds think alike. I think their toasties are just lovely.

Slate is a lovely stone to work and have your number put on, good idea, you might get more mail, lol. I bet the posty knows just about all there is to know in the village and who lives where........they are a mine of information. I am with you on the fireworks, organised displays and not weeks of them going off around and about. Poor little doggie going off its legs. Bless.

Thank you Joan, the toothache has subsided, I have been using sensodine and rubbing it into my gums as well, that seems to have helped, along with umpteen extra tramadol. Hope you are all ok.

Barbara, can you send your window cleaner round, ours has gone awol - he is a bit hit and miss - we will catch him in the village and I will screech out of the car window  :lol: Ours has a moustache and looks a bit like super Mario, lol.
Did I spell that right? I am not so sure.
The little hair bouffant sounds as if you were very on trend. The more lift the better.
We enjoyed the ride into Skipton, through all the wonderful autumn colours. Our acers are bald as badgers now, but the ones at the G center are still in full leaf. Fancy not being able to get a cuppa a the G Center - ours is becoming a winter wonderland as well. Breakfast with Santa through December. I will give Saturdays a miss for sure.

Mum seemed ok when we rang this evening. The District Nurse is coming on Thursday, so we want to be there. McMillan have asked them to be involved in her care.

Special bloods Christine, how fabulous. Antibodies are very good and yours sound to be A 1. How lovely to receive a card from your GS, bringing a smile into a difficult time. I did take the trousers back today, but the shop was closing and the lady (who we know) had cashed up and taken it to the bank - so we will have to go back on Friday, yes, it was a lot to pay for not being comfy.

Kath, you fell out of bed, oh dear, I hope you are ok. Nothing worse than not sleeping, pain keeping you awake. Sending lots of hugs.
What did I pinch, oh dear, I must be in trouble, did I take it from Toni's window seat.?
I read that the assessment team came and you have lost height and weight. We are all shrinking I think. We loose about half an inch in a day, just with gravity taking over, then we grow taller again at night. I think I am just growing wider  Loosing 2 stone is very good.

Who did I miss - sorry if I have, it is late and my little brain is mush at the moment.

I will leave hugs and well wishes and everyone take care. George and Dr Kildare are on tonight, double whammy............lol.
