Thank you all. I try to pop in when I feel up to it. Very sweet of you to continue sending me hugs Aiden. Slight improvement. :) Mainly in my back now.

    New glasses attached I hope.

Emily loves her job.. She's with the tinies, so has to check beneath her feet to make sure none of them are stuck to her shoes.

Hi to one and all, what a frosty start it was this morning, white over, until mid afternoon, where the sun doesn't get round to in winter. Best place is indoors. Nice and bright again, one minute shutting the sun out, now I am putting lights on.............that was a quick day. lol

Hi there Joan, I am very pleased to hear that your laptop is working, we don't like blue screens, having had many in the past. You think, now what have I done, where is OH to sort it............

We will be there for you on your scan day, is it an ultrasound, or CT scan Joan? Just keep us up to speed on the dates and Toni will be out with the cloak. Leaving hugs for you both and for the doggies too.
Mum and Dad popped in this morning for coffee and a croissant, with lots of butter, of course. They are ok, Mum is still game and going out and about every day. It is us that cannot keep the pace :lol: :?

Hi There Kath, I see you. Lovely pictures, thank you for sharing. Hugs are very important, all be it over the ether so to speak, but, they still get there. Slight improvement is good, extra special wishes for your back pain to ease. Yes, can see the new glasses, very nice.
    Glad Emily loves her job.

Well who is getting a new laptop, Barbara is :) how cool is that. You do right going with a reputable company like JL, you always have some recourse, if anything goes wrong, especially with the extended warranty. I bet you cannot wait, I am excited too :D They are usually quick with deliveries.
I take 400 Pregabalin, mg, that is, not capsules, :? The Rheumy wanted me on some HUGE dose, but as I said to the GP, I would rather leave something in reserve for as and when I need them. I presume that is 1000mg a day? Let's hope they can sort out your ENT problems, go for everything, anti viral, fungal and bacterial - that will sort it :)
Tosca only liked her babies for about 5 weeks, after that I was their surrogate mother, and cookie took over where tosca left off and nursed them, bless her.
She has never liked him, very rarely they will sit together, until she realises that he is a wee bit too close and she has to run off spitting............lol. He is not bothered one bit, he just looks at her as if to say "yes, what's your problem" 8) When he gets a mood on he will chase her, then there is world war three.
So your GD might be moving back north - that would be nice for you. As you say, the wages have a London weighting, but for good reason, everything costs so much more. I remember nursing posts carried a lot better wages, but the cost of living was through the roof.

Mince pies, no, I can live without them too, they give me heartburn. Christmas pudding is the work of the devil too, horrid black mass. Chocolate Yule log, that's more like it.

Hi to everyone else, Mig, Toni, Carol, Elizabeth and all. Warm hugs all round.
I will go put some more drying in, it is always like Wishy Washy's laundry here...........
Everyone take care, keep warm and stay safe. XXXX Aidan

charlie is still renting, no idea if she'll ever be able to buy as things stand. I sent her a cheque, all the younger children have had money put away and my oldest has her uni fees paid by me so It was Charlies turn. the oldest is also moving so she is getting her Christmas present early to help with the costs.

Glad you have sorted out a new computer Barbara. I always check reviews and cost is important too. then i feel I've made a good choice.
I see Joans laptop is working again. good luck with the throat scan Joan.

Hospital for me on Monday with the rheummy nurse. Hopefully they'll have all my post rituximab blood (which clearly have not worked) and can shed light. I wonder if I'll get to try something else instead-as long as its not an increase of mtx :cry:

Are your cats Mum and kitten then Aidan? My Daughter has a Mum cat and Son too. They 'rescued' her from its owner who didn't seem to be looking after them very well- you know, have to try not to upset the owner or sound too keen otherwise they suddenly want to keep them.

Well love to all, thank Matron for looking after me. I actually like Jim Dale to be my Doctor if that's okay!

Why are young men growing big bushy beards ? they put at least 10 years on them, shave em off and splash the old spice about.

If George is on duty tonight I feel a swoon coming on.

I don't like **** cats ,next door had one he used to snarl at me when I cleared him off my garden bench he thought it was his,he passed away a few months ago and they had him cremated he now sits in an urn in their conservatory.
Getting chilly keep warm all. Mig

Aiden, strange isn't it that animal prints in the snow look good but human ones don't. It is amazing that no two snow flakes are the same. I've never had a cat but they seem so interesting and funny. Talking of hatchimals, my youngest GD has decided she wants one. Yes £60. I've even seen them for £100. I had a look and I think you can teach them things like talking. Still a lot of money. All I know of pokemon is collecting them on a phone or cards to exchange. My daughter and my sister both say their husbands look them when they are trying to shop.

Joan, hope you are enjoying the weekend and it's not too cold. Glad your laptop is working again.

Toni, I suggested last year that I send money over for my daughter to buy the kids presents but she'd rather I chose them as she finds it hard getting what she needs to get as the kids are usually with her when she goes shopping. Her OH's parents always gave money and they didn't like that. I've wondered how people who are prone to seizures cope with the flashing lights. It must be difficult for them. I think I would soon get bored of pokemon too. Doesn't seem a lot to it.

Barbara, I am going to have to keep an eye on Elfie until she goes to keep an eye on my GD. I always check my receipt before I leave the shop but I bet a lot of people don't so don't realise they've been overcharged. It would be better if you had a closer bus stop and a footpath. Does the road get very busy? How exciting. A new laptop. Hope it arrives before Xmas.

Elizabeth, what a shame you missed out on cake. That wasn't fair steering you away from them just because he doesn't like them. My Little Pony has been around for a long time, hasn't it? My daughter had them when she was about 6 or 7 and she's 40 now. Hope it goes well on Monday and you get the answers and meds you want.

Kath, it's good to see you in the cafe but don't worry if you're not up to it. Glad there has been a slight improvement. Hope that continues. Your glasses look lovely and you suit them. Glad to hear that Emily is enjoying her job. The little ones must be the best to teach.

Mig, I don't like beards either, especially those big bushy ones. It doesn't matter how well groomed they are, they still look untidy and dirty.

Went in to town today to see the motor bike Santas. There were 200 of them all collecting for a local baby hospice. It's a great sight and they have been doing it for 10 years now. Hundreds of people lined up to see them. I met up with one of my sisters who I haven't seen for a while and happened to mention the Polar Express. She said there were 3 of them going and there was still 1 space left so I'm going with them. Yaaaay!

Evening to one and all -

Hi Mig, yes, George is on tonight, so swoon away

    george-clooney-as-dr-doug-ross.jpg

I have no idea why there is a trend for these bushy beards - are we going back to Neanderthal times? I don't like them one bit, but it seems the "thing" to do at the moment. We have noticed on the tennis this year, that a few of the top players are growing beards and not suiting them at all. Get me a razor and Matron will have them all shaved :o
Poor pus kins, sat in an urn in the conservatory. Not everyone likes cats, our neighbour is always wary of ours, after 8 years, she still says, "will they bite" - yes love, they will wrestle you to the floor and tear limb from limb :lol: They might purr, that's about all.

Hi Elizabeth - renting always seems such a loss of money with nothing to show at the end. Mind you, getting onto the property ladder is nigh on impossible at the moment. All the banks want big deposits, is it 25% or something ridiculous - young people don't tend to have umpteen thousand pounds lying around. You are very kind with them all, helping out. My Mum and Dad were the same with us.
I am sure they will all be very grateful.
We will be there on Monday, Toni will try and find the invisible cloak and gather us all underneath. I keep looking but I can never find it.
Let's hope they do shed light and that you don't need an increase in mtx, it is not the most user friendly medication, even though it has good effects, as well as bad.
Yes, Mother and Son Ragdolls and Cookie is the Siamese. She gets on with both of them, it is just Mother that loathes her Son. They are both on the back of the sofa at the moment, but Mother is keeping an eye, ever so slightly open, like a crocodile........if he gets too near, she will be up in the air.
Lovely that your Daughter rescued the puskins, so that they can be loved and well looked after.
I will thank Matron - Jim Dale was great, although Matron does not look amused in the slightest.
    1007-3.jpg

Hi Christine, cats are always amusing, way too curious, make a right mess with litter throwing, demand attention, drive you nuts, but we catty people just love them to bits.
So, your youngest GD would like a Hatchimal, I am not surprised, they are totally en vogue. I think they are like a modern day Furby, that talk and learn from what you say to them. I did have two Furby's, they were quite amusing.
I would not have the patience to hunt pokemon's when I am out. It is bad enough concentrating on where I am going, let alone watch the phone screen at the same time. Big disaster. lol
It must be difficult thinking what to buy and send to far away families - I can understand that money is nice, but kids love to open something, especially from a long way away. I would be the same. That doesn't help does it :? sorry.
Sounds like the motorbike Santa's are great fun and all in aid of a worthy charity. I can imagine it would be packed and hope they raised big sums, to help as many as possible.
Good to meet up with your Sister too and now you are going on the Polar Express. Toni will be very jealous, we best not mention it.

    polar-express-banner-image.png

Ok, it is time for me to have a potter. After grumbling about beards, I will go and have a shave.
Hi to those not in at the moment. Toni, Joan, Carol, hope you are all as ok as possible. fusses to miss slimkins diddicat. Pepe says he hasn't seen her for circuit training lately  :?
    Lots of love XXXX Aidan

Morning everyone sorry I was AWOL yesterday.

Took Lucy to see her friend in Bicester and started to clear downstairs where Lucy wants to be - I want the bed up incase of extra visitors at Christmas. Then I sent the evening trying to get on top of hip pain!! Silly me ::)

The bushy beard trend seemed to begin in 2014 when Lucy got ill Aidan. It does NOT suit them all and I think the older chaps are doing it to hide their jowls - lucky things!!

Elfie girl would probably help you she's bound to be able to lay her hands on some scissors!!

It's Tuesday for the hip doc for us so we'd better keep the cloak clean from Monday.. I have to try to get copies of shoulder scans though.....because I have got Lucy a 2nd opinion at Barbara's hospital on 12th December :):)

Don't worry I know exactly where the cloak is.

Did you mention the Polar Express....or did I imagine it?? :?

Diddicat is coming to circuit training today....yesterday I couldn't find her?? I wonder whether Lucy knows where she is??

    th_20161120_114141.jpg

So glad to hear it's you struggling to keep up with Mum :D

Christine Money is boring isn't it? Hatchimals sound great but wo!! Not cheap

I have a Pou on my phone I got him when Lucy was in hospital and I missed Daisycat. I also have another on my kindle. Silly me. I worry about them

    Does this

    th_20161127_084323.jpg

look familiar? On lounge carpet. :(

I bet the biker Santas made you well-up they would me. GOOD people come in all guises :)

Mig if a cat scares you just HISS really loudly. You are much bigger than them anyway.

Eric Catona is still in an urn, but I am going to open it and scatter him here - he would love it :)

Elizabeth - It was good to hear about your Charlie :) You an I have such great taste in names don't we? Of course we have to help our kids out these days as Aidan said it's really hard to save enough for a deposit.

I hope the rheumy nurse can hep you without increasing MTX. Didn't it give you that cough?? Gosh I am remembering an itchy rash too was that it? If it was they shouldn't increase it.

Jim Dale?! why not!!! :) I hope he looks after you well.

Not easy to 'help' someone out by taking animals when they are clearly not coping is it.

    Barbara woop-woo!!! a new lap-top :) I hope this one is lighter :)

All guaranteed for many years too :)

Did you see Lucy will be coming your way soon for a second opinion on her shoulder? :) I have you to thank for that as I wouldn't have known about them otherwise :D

Not had a mince pie yet. Lucy and I are going to make them. She always did before the leukaemia.

Kath I like the frames. Plain suits you we can see your face :) I am so very glad to hear you are hopefully on the mend ((()))

I am very pleased to hear how happy Emily is at work :) She will have the best Christmas ever!!

Joan Daisycat never caught moles at the old house. I think it's that we have hedges here maybe? It was only ever birds there. I won't ever forget the magpie!! It was HUGE!!

I m so glad the lap top is working :)

    Right onwards and upwards!!

    Love

Oh not George again. Sorry Barbara, but I find him a bit of a bore. I hope the teeny tinies have settled a bit soon, Emily keeps crying "I WANT ME MUM". But Emily is very mumsy, so she doesn't mind.

Elizabeth I don't know whether Ritux has done me any good. Although I feel slightly better on MTX day. I have my post Rituximab blood test soon too.

Mig, I have to admit that one of my grandsons has one of those beards plus sideburns. I don't like them either. Nor do I like those little top-knots either.

Slightly larger pic, for those who couldn't see the others. :D

Hi everyone hope you are all ok. Iv'e had one very few days in fact I have hardly had time to use my laptop still it has been a very productive few days.

Aidan the knitting needles have not been set on fire but all knitting is now done except for button bands on 2 cardigans and stitch together of same 2 cardis and assembling and border on pram blanket.
the walker fund as I call it now only needs about £34 to the needed amount for the better one the more expensive one, have not heard back from the council yet but still keeping fingers crossed, and if they do award me some compensation that will be a bonus.

Barbara enjoy your new laptop windows 10 is not bad to use.

well folks will pop back for a cuppa and some cakes as and when time allows
keep warm and well everyone xx
    Stay positive always👍xx

Aiden, I think the swooning disease keeps going round and round. Strange it's worse when George is around. Yes please Matron, get all the beards shaved. Much tidier. Thinking about your cats wrestling people to the ground reminded me of the time I panicked when I saw a tiny field mouse standing looking at me in my bedroom. I screamed and stood on the bed petrified it would swallow me whole. Good picture of the Polar Express. We are all going in jammas as you should.

Joan, there is a book and a film called The Polar Express. It is a train which goes round on Xmas Eve after the children have gone to bed and collects them to take them to the north pole to see Santa. There will be dancing waiters serving hot chocolate on the train and when we get to the north pole, Santa will get on and give a present to each child. Everyone has to wear pyjamas like the children on the film do.

Toni, it sounds as if you are doing too much but it's difficult when you have things to get done. Hope you are finding time to rest. I'm sure Elfie could find some scissors. I'm sure she has some hidden somewhere. We'll be careful with the cloak on Monday and keep it clean for Tuesday. Well done on getting the second opinion. No, I don't think anyone mentioned the Polar Express.  I had to magnify the picture to check that I was seeing it properly and yes, there is a cat's tail poking out from under the duvet. I remember a few years back having a puppy in the corner of my computer screen which I had to feed and groom. Yes, I recognise the trail on your carpet. I've got one like it on the small mat next to the back door. :x

Barbara, no you don't want to be feeling the slugs. The birds are enough. I remember you saying before that Niamh wanted train track. It must cover quite some space now but she obviously has fun with it. yes, make the most of your GD being with you. They grow up way too quickly.

Kath, it must be so difficult for the tiny children when their parents leave them. I'm sure Emily soon settles them though. Beards and topknots are very fashionable at the moment. Your glasses are a good shape for your face and suit you.

Carol, it seems you are about finished with your knitting. Well done. I used to enjoy knitting but haven't got the patience now. Shouldn't be too long till you get your walker. Still got my fingers crossed that the council will help.

Another busy day. Went in to another town today with my son, his wife and my youngest GD. We went to see Santa first. He knew that Ruby had just finished eating a sausage roll before she went in and that she enjoyed watching films on her sister's tablet and that she wanted a my little pony castle. I think that was mixture of my son telling him a few things when he booked it and the elf who was helping keeping his eyes on what the kids were doing while they were waiting. He then asked her to pull on some bells and when she did, a present came tumbling down the chimney. It was very good. My GS was supposed to come with us and show me what he wants but he'd stayed at a friend's house last night and decided to stay there today so still no idea what to get him.

Afternoon to one and all, a little warmer today, so we gave Miss M a polish and waged war on pine needles. I did the bits I could reach, so was nice to help.

Hi Joan - that is a long wait for your ultrasound scan, it is always the waiting that is the worst thing. I would be on the phone every week or so, to see if there are any cancellations - it often works in your favour, (bit of inside knowledge there :) )
Oh puskins make you itch, they make my BIL sneeze like mad, they had to go sooner than later, last time they were up, he was awash and I was there dosing out anti histamines.
The Polar Express is a wonderful animated film, well worth watching and very well done.
Leaving hugs and hi to Sue and pats for the doggies too. Keep warm.

So, someone, not a million miles, called Toni, over did things then, what are we like eh, there is no telling us either. Rolling of Eyes, we are all as bad I guess.
Now, if I try to hide my jowls and double chin, I will need a beard like old Father Time :lol: No amount of lotions and potions and firming this and that, seem to help - liposuction would be good.
I am very glad to hear that you have a second opinion coming up, with Lucy. Indeed, the cloak will be in full use this coming week. Will we all get in?
No, we didn't mention the Polar Express, you are dreaming :?
Pepe said they were doing circuit training while we were out cleaning Miss M. I am not convinced myself, as the place was just as we left it, with everyone fast asleep, just extra biscuits had been eaten. I love the photo, was diddicat helping make the beds? - Pepe was doing the same this morning, diving under the covers and chasing imaginary things.
It is me that's trying to keep up with Mum, but, keep up I will. We are off to a shopping outlet near Burnley today, they have wheelchairs, so I will be firmly wedged inside one of them (they are very tiny ones and no, my bum is not too big for them) :o:lol::lol:
What have you got on your phone - I think I read it wrong?
Oh is that a slug trail, on the CARPET. Oh my. Did you find it the culprit? We had one going up the back door, a white one.
I am sure Eric would be more than happy to be there, in the grounds. Bless.
While you are making mince pies, can you pop some treacle in pastry, that will be very nice, a little treacle tartlet. Thank you.
Diddicat caught a Magpie? Wow, they are big birds, we hear them clattering on the roof, hopping about. I bet there was a big mess. Way to go Miss Slimkins.

Hi Barbara - don't worry about confusing the pills, I guessed you meant the AB's, as that dose of pregabalin would floor us all.
I hope the text comes very early this week, to say the laptop is on the way. JL are very good. Exciting. We love technology, to the point of obsession some might say, we did have 10 computers, but have sold quite a few now - thinning down a bit, lol. OH gets them off Ebay, only cheap, to tinker with and get them going again, whenever possible. We have two main ones, that were not cheap, that we use most of the time. Tablets, laptops, phones, we are techno junkies, lol
I am sure you enjoyed the time with your GD, did she have a nice nap?
Now, no more swooning over George.

Hi Kath, I think we will have to get a new Dr, Barbara is all at sixes and sevens and that will never do. I think George can go on a training conference for a while.
That's a good shot of you and your new specs. Can see them more clearly, they look v nice.
Good that you are feeling a bit better, may it continue. I think a word with GS, or leave a razor laying around when you see him.

Good to see you Carol and glad you have had a productive few days. Glad the knitting is all but done, save stitching together. That walker fund is getting very close. It will be worth getting the better one.
Fingers crossed for some news from the Council. I think they have 28 days to respond to official complaints etc. Cakes will always be here, on demand, along with pots of T and coffee, night or day.

I was the same with the mice in France Christine, so you are not alone in heading for higher places. I was saying to Kath, that George is going away on conference for a while, the swooning is becoming an epidemic on the ward. I will have to see who is new on the rotas.
PJ's are a must for the polar express, it will be wonderful. Did we mention the P Express? No, I thought not.
Sounds like you had a great time, visiting Santa, presents falling down the chimney, wonderful - the children must love it. Time is marching and your GS is still not giving clues as to what he would like for Christmas.
Hope you can rest a little now, after your day out.

Well, I started this, just after lunch and now it is midnight. Quite where time goes..........only one way, forward, all too quickly.

All the neighbours went to the local for a Christmas "do" on Sat night. Not our scene at all, which people know and understand. I am pretty much a wet lettuce, of an evening. Tonight everyone was in bed very early, maybe catching up after a few too many, hic. I think we are the only ones up :?

I will post, before I press the wrong buttons. Everyone take lots of care - oh, who is on tonight.............

    a070.gif

    and

    a065.gif

    and quickly
    e010.gif

should be ok for him now....phew!!!

Well done for doing your part helping clean Miss m :) Spick and span :)

Yes overdid it indeed  Silly me  Today isn't much better.

The cloak ,because it renders us invisible, seems to be able to cover vast areas. I tested it on my car, Dudley Duane Juke until I realised Paul might reverse his van into it :?

Diddicat was getting into a freshly changed bed :) Nothing ike it she said. Apparently the biscuits were due to low blood sugar after 'all the exercise'........

No problem at all doing a treacle tartlet for you - or two ;)

    Christine
I think Girl-Elfie has some scissors now - a pair of Lucy's are AWOL

    Watch out those with beards!!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was really a polar express? :)

Mmmmm...I got a slug with no entry or exit trail though?? Daisycat likes freshly made beds and loves to 'help'!!!

What a clever Santa! that bell sounds a great idea too :)

Carol only £34 to go? Well that is great and even better all the knitting just needs bits and bobs doing and it'll be all done :)

Cakes and cuppas waiting for you :)

Kath :) Do you not like our George? That's good at least one person still conscious!

I imagine Emily loves those kids already :)

I had forgotten about those ludicrous 'top-knots' silly silly boys!

Barbara You love technology? really? :? it's all too much for me. Hurry up postie with Barbara's lap-top!

I don't know what the consultant will say he can do but the word optionS was mentioned so maybe there's hope even if it's only painkilling injection to help with her pain.

It was indeed Diddicat AKA 'Sleek' helping me

I hope you enjoyed having middle GD :) They grow up far too fast :(

Hi Joan hope all is well with you all and you are warm enough :) Lucy has hip Dr tomorrow and then second opinion shoulder doc up Barbara's way on 12th Dec :) Thank you for asking xx

Love to everyone Thinking of Elizabeth today.

Thanks for Jim Dale Aidan- I like someone who can make me laugh-I'm not a George Clooney type either Kath so we'll leave him to the others. Ah yes! thats a better photo of the specs, they look fine. Good luck with the ritux bloods.

Eric Catona would love your new house Toni but wait until the spring flowers are blooming. It does require payback if you want to get the house ready for Christmas. My Eldest D. isn't visiting this year  so no silly games and laughter to look forward too. I'll miss that.
Yes the mtx did give me a cough which hasn't been a problem lately although the Nurse mentioned I was still coughing today

Today was hospital day and I told the Nurse I was struggling but expect my bloods say otherwise and lo-and-behold they did! But she told me that it is week 16 that rituximab usually kicks in and you go through a bad patch beforehand. I'm on week 13 so if its true then I'll be raring to go in time for Christmas :D . She offered me a steroid but I declined as a steroid would mask any of the above if it happens. If not I'm back again after Christmas for another dose of rituximab or a new med.

I don't like beards either. The hipster look isn't it? O has grown one and he wonders why I never kiss him anymore....

Joan hopefully the blood test is all over now and you are safely home and in the warm.

Love to Barbara and Applerose. Good luck with the council Carol. Don't let them get away with it.

Good luck to Lucy with the hip Doc tomorrow. Hope its good news.

When we got back, I made a cup of coffee. Tracey was very pleased. after she left, I did a bit of cleaning, then used my mini bike. I enjoyed it, even though I ache a bit.

Elizabeth, thanks for the info about Rituximab. week16 for me is round about new year, so we'll see if it makes any difference.

Lovely to hear from you Elizabeth a chatty post even if you aren't great.

I thought it was the MTX cough - don't want that back do you?

So a few weeks to go then hopefully....?? I really hope so. You were probably wise to avoid the depot so you are sure any positive changes are the ritux.

Ah yes Eric would love the flowers he used to sit near me and guard me when I was gardening :(

Thank you let's hope Lucy's other hip isn't affected too fingers crossed.

I hope your kids are all well sorry eldest won't be with you at Christmas. Neither will my sister and she always sets us all off laughing.

Hi Barbara - I hope Joan's bloods went ok too.

Pusscat waits outside the loo?? How sweet :) I think they like our beds because they are comfy.

I would overheat with a heated blankie

When Daisycat was a kitten she would run around under the sheets and Paul would pretend to catch her!!
She lost he collar AGAIN today and it was her last AGAIN!! So 2 more purchased and tags

I hope you enjoyed the garden centre today and managed cake after your tapas :)

Kath please may I have wold rice salad and the veg curry then chocolate and cherry scones I will add some of Cornwall's finest clotted :)

I think Tracey sounds lovely and am so glad she helped you do so much. You are getting your confidence back :) I hope you aren't too achy. Well DONE :D

    Better get on

    Love

Aiden, did you enjoy your trip to the shopping outlet? Good idea to use a wheelchair so you don't get too tired with all the walking. My bil has a lot of computers but, apparently they are nearly all in the loft waiting to be repaired.Been there for some years my sister said. We will all miss George but he needs a rest.

Joan, I was expecting to be very tired today after being busy at the weekend but I wasn't too bad. Hope you had a good day and your blood tests went well.

Toni, well done getting the cafe spic and span again. Oh dear. I shall keep a look out for Lucy's scissors. They must be here somewhere. There's a trail of beard hair in the kitchen. Looks like Elfie has been busy. I usually find trails that don't lead to an entry. That's why I can't find where they are coming in. Options sound good. Hope one of them suits Lucy.

Barbara, I love getting in to a cold bed. Only takes me a few minutes till I'm too hot. I didn't know about the T*sc* site doing the picture download to try on glasses. I'll have a look for it. Hope you enjoyed your tapas.

Elizabeth, what a shame your daughter isn't visiting this year. Sometimes they have too much to do. I think sometimes when a cough goes on and on, we stop noticing it. Hope yours goes soon. Isn't that just typical, you are struggling but your bloods say different. Only 3 weeks to go and you should be feeling better.

Kath, it sounds as if you are getting on better with your walker and you've done some cleaning. Don't overdo it though. Mmmm, totellini primavera and chocolate pots for me today.

It was my GS's 13th birthday today so I went up for a tea party. Managed to have a word with him and my eldest GD about what they want for Xmas. I've told them to let me know makes and colours etc so I don't get the wrong things. The youngest had her blankie which was her cover when she was a baby. The corner has been sewn and resewn so many times, there's not much left. Her mum brought out the matching cot bumper to try to get her to use that instead. We eventually convinced her and she put her old one at the front door ready for Santa to pick up. Only a few minutes later, and she got upset and decided she wanted both.

Just a quick hello, well, early good morning. Pepe, is not too good a the moment, has been very distressed with constipation, so Matron has intervened with a mini enema, with success, but he is very off colour and needs time for fussing and nursing. I will write more asap. Love and hugs to everyone. Sorry I cannot stay around - the cafe looks very clean and the ward is impeccable. Dr in the House.
Take care XXXX Aidan Keep warm - thick frost here tonight. mind you, I am boiled, with pus cat "activities"

Aiden, sorry to hear that Pepe isn't feeling well. I'm sure he'll soon be right as rain with all the fussing.

Joan, I hope it's not too long till you get your results. I agree with you about bald men with beards. They look as if their heads are on upside-down. My nutrition exam? I passed it with 93%. T was worried I wouldn't do very well but I'm very happy with that. I've got a few more courses lined up now.

Barbara, you didn't have to wait too long for your laptop. It's good getting new things. Hope you are finding it easy to set up. I think it was -6 here last night. I didn't notice it till I opened the curtains and everything was white. I love having lots of small things to choose from rather than one big meal. I hope Nyv is brave enough to give Santa her dummy. It must be quite difficult for them.

Didn't get much in T*sc* today but my receipt said I'd saved 2p. I do like to save money. I've put together the pony castle I got for my GD to make sure it was ok. Not sure I can dismantle it again and I definitely won't be able to get it back in the box. Might need to find a big box for it.
