Has Joan and Sue finally got a working heating system? About time too.

Did the Sawley trail today. Lots of lovely birds singing. We sat on a bench close to the Community Hall. Quite a few trees nearby, lovely to sit there when it's warm.

Hello Kathleen Aidan Barbara and anyone else I missed.
Kathleen it's very relaxing walking and good exercise.
Aidan thank you for helping my legs swell around my one ankle because of pain when walking and standing I cannot walk very quick and my socks get tight. Sorry to go on I hope you had a good day,
Barbara you go careful in the snow. I'm writing this on my iPad.
thank you for all your help with the heating.

hi Kath, glad you had a lovely walk around the marina, I had forgotten how close it is to Ratcliffe on Soar and Gotham, my old home village. Lovely to hear the birds singing, they have been going mad here, it must be nearly Spring.

Joan, you never go on about how you feel or if you are in pain and discomfort but feel free to have a good rant if you want to  Have you tried those socks with no elastic in the tops, they are a real plus and don't dig in at all.

We will help all we can with your heating, all we would need is the man who is the boss and we would be after him, like a flash :)

Right, potter time, backside has gone to sleep and legs, I have no idea about them, I cannot feel them.

Morning everyone. Feeling very tired today. One day it would be nice to wake up refreshed and full of energy.

Cake tasting went well last night. Very yummy.

Joan, hope you feel more comfortable soon.

Your walks sound lovely. Something I should do more of. Have no excuse really as I live on the North Downs.

My bus stops approaches. Better jump off.

Morning Kerrin :) You will have better days, but working full-time with RA is hard, very hard. What level is your MTX at now?

Joan I am totally with Aidan - you hardly ever moan at all!! Is it the ankle on the foot they are going to operate on?

Aidan it IS the boss who doesn't want to pay out for another boiler!! Grrrr!!! I agree with you he wouldn't be happy to have put up with what Joan and Sue have :x

It is a small world them being right by your rellies :)

That loo brush sounds very swish, but will it not turn pink too???

Chapters of your book - not a bad idea

I have to go to the vets for more flea-drops for Diddicat - a necessary evil with a cat who goes outside.

WE love them so much though we wouldn't ever see them go without would we? :animal_busy:

I loved the 'night night' photo :)

    Barbara
    - I imagine the large (HUGE!) tescos don't do as well. They ought to put more in them so we'd stay longer. Hairdressers, nail bars decent scones...

How much snow did you get in the end? Such a good thing Lucy's op was done and dusted in half-decent weather!

Kath once you got back mobile there's been no stopping you!! The Sawley tail looks lovely :)

Better crack on Physio this afternoon and jobs to do first.

    Love

    Toni xxx

Ps hope Carol and Mr T are coping ok and Elizabeth :(

Aidan, Marina - Me!!!!! It's miles away. I wish I could get that far. :D Community centre is right next to our Co-op, park and primary school.

Joan, I'm sorry to hear you are in so much pain. You are incredibly brave, and you give no thought to your own problems but help all of us with ours.

A good afternoon to one and all. A variable weather day, rain, hail, sleet, even more hail, bright sunshine :? :sun: with me blowing hot and cold, as I do.

Oh Kerrin it would be great to wake up and feel refreshed and raring to go, but, it just doesn't seem to happen that way. I am sure so many of us feel just the same, irritating as it is.

I am glad that the cake tasting went well, mind you, what's not to like, I would have come along as an uninvited guest,

Steady away, jumping off the bus :o

I don't know if those fancy loo "brushes" go pink, I doubt it, but I am not buying one at silly prices.

Yes, miss sleek will need her drops, even in winter, those unwanted lodgers can be pesky. Fortunately ours don't need them and we are uber careful if we have to take them to the vets, but they always clean the exam table every time.

Pepe has had his ruffle trimmed, so he is a smart boy now, I have to do it, so it is not up to OH standards, but he won't sit still for Oh to do it, only having eyes for Daddy, bless. It might look a bit like the Council have cut it, so just to warn Miss Slimkins when they skype. We don't want her surprised

    tumblr_static_image.jpg

No, we would not let them go without, not one bit. Glad you liked the night photo, I think I will do one every night as long as I remember.

Def better scones in Tesco and Sainsbury's, some of them are like lead. Not a patch on the freshly baked ones at the GC

Hope the physio session went ok and progress continues :)

Of course Kath, you are a wee bit far from there for walking  hope you have managed to dodge the showers and had a potter.

Hi to everyone else, Carol, Mig, Elizabeth, Joan and all....................Take care, it must be time for afternoon T.

    Evening everyone.

After another busy day, sitting on the train trying not to fall asleep. 3 more stops.

I'm on 15mg of methotrexate now but don't feel like it's doing much apart from giving me headaches and fatigue.

I need more flea drops for the kitties too. Tommy is allergic to fleas so gotto keep him protected.

Decent scones are very important. Could do with one right now, as my lunch was a pie on the run at Waterloo station!

Cake has been decided on, now just waiting for a quote.

Hugs Joan, hope the pain improves.

Almost at my stop, still awake.......just. Now just the drive home.

Kerrin they can up your MTX definitely so maybe that will help a bit. I hope your next rheumy apt isn't too far off. It's rotten feeling shattered all the time ((()))

Some cats are allergic to fleas poor Tommy. I use Advantage
    .
Barbara We were lucky with the weather and guess what?!! Lucy can do 170 degrees in front!!! Yippee!!! She can do 110 sidewards. Next week she hits 6 weeks so can use resistance bands the physio said :)

It's the shed tonight, but I am only having soft drinks - Lucy at hairdresser for 10am tomorrow in Lichfield so I will be driving over there.

What a day you are having Aidan we have had sunshine now cloudy, but we had hail yesterday.

The picture was lovely a nice ending to the day :)

That Diddicat did look scared! I have warned Miss Slimkins that Pepe has had a 'trim' so she'll be ready - skyping I think due to adverse weather conditions

She is all de-flea'd. Well she never gets them as I treat her regularly.

A good vet will do their best I'm sure to keep the place pristine. I'm glad you are never troubled by the horrible things. They would bite me if she ever got them.

No scones are in the same league as the Gc!! Goodness perish the thought

Kath I agree with you Joan never complains and is in considerable pain.

I hope all is well with you. How is your daughter-in-law doing?

    No Joan today :?

    Still no Elizabeth :?

    Worrying.

Carol, so sorry to hear about Snowie. It is heartbreaking when we lose a lovey pet. I’ve had 2 dogs put to sleep. Both lost the use of their back legs and showed in their eyes that they were tired of living so I knew it was right. I hope you cold is easing.

Kath, don’t worry about coming in. As long as you are ok. Good for you not giving up. Sounds as if you had a good walk out listening to the birds singing.

Aiden, I was thinking that if calories drop out of broken biscuits, they must fall out of chocolate when you bite it. I feel more seasick on calm water than when the waves are huge. Once on a ferry, I stood right at the front when the waves were going right over the top and felt fine. With calm water, I had to lie down I was so dizzy.

Toni, the plumber who put my bathroom in said he would have put a corner toilet and corner sink in and a shower instead of the usual bath, sink and toilet. It would have meant more room in the bathroom but I wanted a bath. It sounds as if Lucy is doing brilliantly, just as we thought she would. I haven’t looked much on FB but I think I saw a post from Elizabeth so she’s probably busy.

Kerrin, sorry you are in pain. Hope you enjoyed the training course though and I’m sure the cake tasting was ermmm …… tasty. I sometimes wake up thinking I’ll jump out of bed and dash round doing things but when I open my eyes, no chance. Takes me a while to wake up properly then I get up and ready for work in slow motion.

Joan, at last you have the heating working although there is still more work to be done. Hope the blood test goes ok and they sort out your swollen legs. Hope it’s not painful.

Barbara, you’ve had snow. We had a little a few days ago but nothing much. I've been terrible lately craving sugar. I still had a few things left from Xmas but think that's the last. Just have to make sure I don't buy any more.

I had the salesman round from the company who replaced 2 windows a couple of years ago. He gave me a quote quite a bit less than the other one so I've said I'll go ahead with that. Still seems like a lot of money but I know I'll be happy once it's done. Got a letter which I thought was about an appointment at the eye hospital but I was just copied in to a letter the optician had sent to my GP. She has asked my GP to refer me. I thought she was doing that herself.

Evening to one and all - the weather is calmer now, although we are warned of snow. It's certainly changeable :?

You did have a fair bit of snow Barbara, god job it didn't last long, I know it looks lovely, but we are not designed for going out in snow and I cannot help but walk like a ninny
I think Pepe actually likes having his ruffle trimmed, it gets in his mouth when he is washing, when it grows too long. I just didn't want Miss Sleek to be shocked at his youthfulness :lol:

It was a nice selection and I would happily have face planted into the victoria sponge :) Sugar needs seem to be a winter thing, trouble is, it spreads to spring, summer and autumn   When it is cold, we need suet pudding like jam roly poly with custard - oh the ones at school were wonderful.

We have had an at home day, Mum n Dad came round and had their hair cut, (not by me). We are out today, as it is Dads Birthday (he dislikes them, so he will be extra grumpy :lol: ) We are going for brunch at the GC, so that will be nice and I will make sure I have room for a scone, no matter what.

Hi Kerrin, I would be no good on the train, I would forget where my stop was and end up in no mans land. You do well to stay awake, especially as you are not feeling good.
The dose of Mtx could certainly be increased, but it is always a compromise with effect and side effect. Hugs that you feel better as soon as possible.
more flea drops for the puskins, a lot of animals are allergic to the little blighters.
Help yourself to scones and cakes from the tea table. A pie, on the run, in the station, is not nice for you at all.
I hope the quote for the cake is not too eye watering, more mouth watering :)

Wow, Lucy is doing SO well with her shoulder mobility. Way to go Lucy and way to go Mum for assisting, of course. I remember resistance bands well, from the physio days.

Hope you had a good night in the shed, tee total of course.

Pepe said Miss sleek was forewarned, so not too shocked at his trimmed look. He said that Mum had been putting drops on her neck - He hated them, when we used them in France, they all did. Mind you, I hated the fleas more, horrid things :x

No, t's true, only the GC scones pass the full taste test and it is only right that we keep checking them, for consistently high standards :)

Joan, I hope you are ok, not too warm with this dodgy boiler saga.

Of course Christine, when you bite into chocolate, the calories fall out, just the same. So, nothing to worry about :?

It's funny that, with the calm water, I was the same on Lock Ness, it was like a millpond and I was most queasy. I have been across to the Outer Hebrides, in a force whatever gale, but that was when I was only a youngster and I thought it was great fun, while everyone was hanging on by their eyebrows :lol: It was rough.
we would be ok on a big cruise ship, I think. We could always find the hospital ward and lie down.

I hope Elizabeth is ok, glad you spotted her on FB, yes, she will be busy, as long as things are as ok as possible.

Good that you have made your choice about the windows and I am sure they will be lovely, when they are done. They are soon fitted.

See, it is a winter thing, sugar, we need sugar, to keep us warm.

I wonder if the Optician is not able to refer directly, hence asking the GP? I would have thought they could though.

I had me results from the clinic and I have background retinopathy. They say, nothing to worry about, just to keep up with appointments to check up on it.

Right, it is late and I must potter. I will wish everyone n night, take lots of care XXX Aidan

Morning everyone. Back on the train, with no heat so no ankle relief warming up this morning. And yes I have slept through my stop before and ended up in Sole Street. Yes that's the name of the sleepy town, google it and you will see why. Let's just say it was a long half hour waiting for the next train back.

Lucy is doing so well. Thumbs up to being able to start with the resistant bands.

The windows will be lovely once they are done. It was one of the first things I did when I bought my house.

My puskins hate anti flea stuff, so does my bank balance. But poor Tommy comes out in horrible sores if even one little blighter nestles in him.

Not sure when my next Rheumy appointment is. Waiting eagerly for the letter to drop through the post box. When I spoke to the nurse a few weeks back, she said it is fairly soon. Not sure I want more side effects from a higher dose. This has been a bad week for headaches (and other aches)

Parents eve tonight. Luckily I don't have a class although I need to speak to a few parents about gymnastics. Sleeping over in the big city as it finishes quite late.

Till later, have a good painfree day.

Kerrin you are very wise to sleep over tonight - you need all the sleep you can get.

Maybe rheumy will add something else like hydroxy or sulpha? They are a little easier (for some) regarding side-effects.

I buy advantage online now (except yesterday as Charley had my last one on Saturday and Daisycat was also due!) from an online site quite a bit cheaper than even Petsathome. Poor Tommy :(

Morning Aidan We have terrible wind again today (outside the house - not in!!) So it's a no-fly zone again. Expect a hairy keyboard today.

When I got back from the shed Miss Slimcea was full of it!! Never seen Pepe looking so handsome :) Yes I believe she did tittle-tattle on me about the essential flea drops  She said Pepe said she didn't have to have them anymore :?

Have you got snow? Don't forget we all wanted to see your ninny-walk. So long as you don't actually fall over of course.

Happy birthday to Dad even if he hates them!! I hope they have a good day and the GC spoil him :cake:

I know 170 degrees!! Amazing!! Less to the side, but actually I tested Tia and Charley and neither of them can do 180 anyway!!

Back ground retinopathy eh? Nothing to be done yet, but keep an eye?

I love the little owl! :)

Christine I am so glad to hear you saw a post on fbook from Elizabeth :) PHEW!!

Thank you Lucy is doing so well :) Hairdressers for her today.

I am glad the decision is made regarding windows. Cheaper is good and you already know the standard of his work :)

Annoying about the delay getting your eyes referred :?

Joan I hope all is well? Sending warming hugs ((()))

Toni I say it again Lucy is amazing..I have so much respect for some of our young people..she has good movement there and the bands will make things stronger..is she having extension in her hair..I would have loved them if they had been around when I was younger.. :D
Kerrin glad you will be sleeping over tonight..the journey must be so tiring..good luck with parents evening ...I suppose you have to be tactful with some ..maybe they will up your meds soon...next door had 4 cats one is no longer with us but 2 of them are allergic to the fleas..
Christine glad you have decided on the window firm ..now you can look forward to having the new windows..and that you have used them before is good ..I just cant leave the sugar alone since Christmas..and it will soon be Easter... :o
Aiden I am sure Pepe is prancing around showing off his new hair cut..and his youthfulness... I love it...so it was Dads Birthday ..happy Birthday or not so happy bless at least he got his hair cut.. :)

    Afternoon all

have not been on forum for a couple of days Mr Turbo and me are both ok we have talked a lot about our Snowie and our feelings on what happened on Sunday which is good as my first fears were that Mr T would bottle it all up as he has done with upset before and we would end up snapping at one another but thankfully that as not happened. :D we are on the lookout for a suitable frame in which we can put his collar and a photo in. obviously we are both still feeling the loss very much :( but we will get there. :)

over the last 2 evenings we have been sitting going through and watching some videos of past holidays and past events it has been quite a change.

its been quite cold here the last few days. I have found that olbus oil on a tissue has kept my nose fairly clear since Monday so have been able to sleep in bed since then.

Got quite a shock on Tuesday when I went to my slimming world weigh in and I had lost 2and a half pound this week. so that made me quite happy :D as that kept my in mar target zone.

well I think I had better get up and move to the kitchen to get our evening meal on.

cherrio all keep warm and snug love to all.

Joan it makes sense then if it's the same ankle doesn't it? Not long for your operation at least. As Barbara said lock Mr BIG in!!!!

Carol well done you 2 and a half LB!! Brilliant safe in the zone again now :)

Try hobbycraft for the frame - they do extra deep ones.

I am so glad Mr T is communicating about Dear Snowy ((()))

Kath I am so glad your DIL is doing well and has a new chap I can see you are pleased for her :)

Sending you some hugs too and thank you for ours :) ((()))

Barbara I think you'll agree Lucy looks good with her new hairdo. What a boost to her morale after all she's been through :)

Getting ready to go back to her own colour soon.

I too have so much pride in Lucy she has been amazing. :D

Yes you must go to ENT - the problem isn't sorted.

WE had to change GP when we moved here - it has been great - yes lots of ID these days. I am sure you won't regret such brave move.

Yes Toni I was really shocked about the 2 and a half pound because I wasn't all that careful on what I had on Sunday and wasn't even really good on Monday but well ok i'll accept it thank you very much scales.
I too am so happy mr turbo has spoken of his feelings it has helped us both a lot we will not get another dog. but are thinking that around September time we may look into having a cat. Thanks for the tip on the frame I will look into it will have to do it on line as we do not have a hobbycraft near up.

love your photos is it your daughter.

Aiden, you're probably right about sugar being a winter thing. We need it to turn to fat to keep us warm but yes, it is addictive so goes on and on. It's been a very long time since I had a suet jam roly poly. Probably when I was at school. Happy birthday to dad. Hope he does have a good day and not too grumpy. They tell us we have these things wrong with our eyes or other bits then say not to worry. They might be used to it, we're not.

Kerrin, it was rather chilly this morning. The wind here was quite nippy. I don't think I've quite fallen asleep on a bus before but I have got on the wrong one and gone round in circles. Sounds as if you could do without parents evening if you have a headache. Hope you get finished quickly.

Toni, I'm glad the wind was outside and not inside your house. Lovely pictures of Lucy. I like her hair. We are all proud of Lucy with how hard she has worked to get better.

Joan, your heating is on then it's off. Definitely need Mr Big to just bite the bullet and get the new boiler in. It's good that you are always on the go.

Barbara, good idea. We will all sit outside Joan's house and not let Mr Big out till he has ordered the new boiler. I'm worried that it will soon be Easter. I usually get an egg or a box of chocolates off my boss's mum. Then it will be too late to be super slim by summer. Ha ha, as if I would be any way. It will be so much better having your GP nearer. Mine is less than a 10 minute walk so easy to get to. Definitely go to your ENT appointment. As you say, if you cancel it, the problem will come back again.

Kath, how lovely for your DIL to have a new man in her life. Hope it works out for her.

Carol, it is good to talk about Snowie and remember all the good times you had. It will take some time to get used to him not being there. Don't rush it. Glad the Olbas oil has helped and you've had some decent sleep. Well done on the 2 1/2 lb loss.

My boss was furious today as there was some sort of problem with his business website, Turns out some links hadd been deleted. I heard him on the phone to his internet provider. When he came off, he was very happy as they'd fixed it and given him £50. He is half Italian and they do seem to go off it very quickly but it never lasts long. I was just getting ready to leave work shortly after lunch time when my boss's mum turned up to take me to her house. I had totally forgotten. Oops. She didn't want me to do much, just hoover upstairs and mop downstairs.

Good evening to one and all -

Hi Kerrin, I will have to look up Sole Street, it doesn't sound an inspirational place, I did and it doesn't :? I bet it was a long half hour waiting there.
No heat on the train, that's not good.
I remember the frontline was very expensive, for all three of ours.

I hope you Rheumy appointment comes through asap, it is a real trial with all the medication sometimes, hope you feel better very soon and they can sort out an ideal dose or try something different.

I hope the parents evening went ok and the night in the big city was restful, in a city that never sleeps that is.

Good advice to buy the de flea online, with all respect to the vets, they do charge a fair whack for things like advantage etc.

More wind Toni, oh dear  we have that too and it is too chilly to be out on a broomstick - miss sleek will be missing her flying.
Take no notice of His Lordship, telling porky pies to diddicat. Glad she liked his new hair do

No, no snow, no ninny walking,:lol:Ice-Safety-Tips-1030x303.png

Dad was not unduly grumpy on his Birthday, we enjoyed our brunch, he did have a grumble at a fried tomato, but that was all :?
Mums Brother and SIL are not coming up now, SIL has a cold and doesn't want to share it with us all, so re schedule for next week end.
OH Brother and SIL are still coming over on Saturday. It's all change, I cannot keep up

170' is very good, I don't think I would get anywhere near that, my shoulders are terrible rotating wise. Very impressed indeed.

Little owl was so cute :)

I was right Joan, you did get too warm. Oh dear, then it would not work again. I think a rant at the boss, you are in need of reliable and functional heating, end of. Toni will have to get the bus running.
We all do a lot less than we used to, with arthur being the pain that it is and we do react to temperature changes in a more heightened way - look at me with my hot flushes and then frozen cold.............
Take care both and hugs to the doggies too.

I see the sweet tooth is still there Barbara, lol. I know, there are Easter eggs piled to the ceiling in all the shops. Still cheaper to buy a bar of chocolate though.
Talking of sweet things - next door, the one who works for the bakery / pie company........well, he rang and said there was excess wholemeal buns, did we want some, yes please and thank you. He popped round when he got home, enough rolls to have a street party and more giant cookies than you can shake a stick at, so, looks like my blood sugar will be up, this week end.
He said they filled two skips with excess stock. :o

Even the food banks, wont come and take it, they want it delivered but the firm doesn't have spare drivers. It is all in good date, such a shame :?

I hope you are all ok with your new GP, I dread mine retiring, but I know he will sooner or later, as will my Cardiologist, who has looked after me for over 20 years. I don't have a photo ID, I had to give up my driving licence and my passport expired years ago, I am an impostor :? So close to you too, that's great. We are about a 5 min drive, so nothing really.
Good reviews from neighbours etc are very important when it comes to a new GP, it can be daunting for many, a lot of people on the forum have had really bu* deals with GP's who have as much bedside manner as an angry bear.

Finally you have you letter for ENT, about time too, yes, right to go, as you say, things will return, best to get it sorted, we will be with you under the cloak.

Thank you for the hugs Kath, you can never have too many, glad you Daughter has a new partner and is ok.

Hi Carol, good that you have both been talking and sharing memories and your thoughts, that is very positive. Nothing worse than keeping it all in, it just wears you down. I wonder of those deep frames would be good, like they use for decoupage etc.

I bet that was fun, going through old video's - I have a lot of photo's online that I look at, from holidays right from early childhood, dad was so organised, he scanned them all and put them onto discs, many moons ago.

Glad you have managed to sleep in bed, Olbas is very good, but it can make you eyes water  I must overdo it I think

Way to go, loosing over 2lb and keeping in target zone :)

See, Toni beat me to it, with the pic frame lol. Great minds think alike eh :)

Oh the new hairdo is very nice indeed Lucy 8) 8) Your pride is tangible and rightly so.

    Hi Christine
You are right, sending letters and things out, you have this or you have that, but no need to worry - yeah, right, of course we don't worry - much.
A bit like when they did my angiogrammes, the first 4 were femoral and I knew some of the staff who were assisting, they were chuckling about my open back gown, saying "we have seen it all before, just like you have" "yes, but you aint seen mine, so hush your giggling" !!

We are all ready to tackle the Big Boss at Joan's and Toni is right, lock the door when he is in 8) 8)

A box of choccies at Easter, yes, I bet my Aunt buys us both an egg with our names on them, she usually does. That reminds me, I must ring her, to arrange a meet up in Skipton.

Oh dear your Boss being in a rage, but glad it sorted and it was soon over with, plus a £50 credit.
Then forgetting that you had jobs at your Boss's Mum's house, good that it wasn't too much, enough though, when you didn't expect it.

Well, I had better move, I dare not look at how long this post it, it will be like a short novel.

Hugs and hi to those who are busy, Mig Elizabeth and all. I had better have another potter. Everyone take lots of care XXX Aidan

    Morning!

Yes Carol that's Lucy the youngest the one who is in remission from leukaemia and had the new shoulder 5 weeks ago :)

A cat is a sensible option - no need to walk him/her and easier to get cover for when you go away on your hols :)

I wonder whether the weight loss is due to grief? ((()))

Hi Christine Maybe it's a cultural thing the loudness with your boss - good job his Mum came over to fetch you!!!

I bet she really wants you for the company :)

and she'll give you chocolate soon for Easter? Diet saboteur!!

Our nearest Dr is about 40 minutes walk 5-10 by car, but they are good and the main man lives opposite us to the left.

Lucy has done well, but the other two have more than done their bit :)

I have fallen asleep on buses and trains luckily never in a car while I am driving

My seedlings are coming up I'm so exited!!

Morning Aidan thank you for our night night picture, very peaceful :D

That's bad for your neighbour all that excess stock  is it that people can't afford the food? Food banks really are very silly to have lost such lovely food! Ludicrous.

I hope you remember which family member is coming where and when after all the changes! Visitors are always welcome aren't they? So Dad didn't like his fried tomato then? Hahaha! Bless him :)

170 degrees is fabulous isn't it. Just got to build up muscle strength now. Don't we all??

Diddicat has done a recce outside and says pending a good weather report from Pepe (via the window) she will be over later :animal_busy:

I got the tip about buying flea stuff online from a friend and it's probably £5 a pack cheaper maybe more :)

No now... :( ....no ninny-walking.....a bit disappointing, but safer for you :)

Joan I know you'll be on in a bit :) I imagine your ankle swelling will stop a while after you've had that surgery. ((()))

    Love to everyone else

This is shocking news. "NHS 'overcharged' by drug makers' non-compete deal, says CMA" The regulator accused Actavis in December of raising the price for 10mg hydrocortisone tablets by 12,000% in eight years, from 70p to £88.

No wonder the NHS is up to its neck in debt!! :o  :?

Joan, we have rain here too, the poor Tesco delivery man got soaked.

Toni, Lucy looks wonderful in the photos. :D

Carol, how lovely, another puss cat in our little group.
    :animal_busy: :animal_busy: :animal_busy:

Just had a letter from a company that deliver NHS prescriptions through the post. Thanks, but no thanks. My pharmacist delivers mine for me.

    More ((((hugs)))) to everyone. xxxx
