Evening and early Friday morning - a glorious day we have had, in fact I was boiled for the most part
Kerrin, sorry to hear that your mouth is hurting, it could be a "dry socket" which would need antibiotics, sometimes the socket gets an infection in it. Best pass on the Aspirin. Bongela or Anbesol might help the pain a little. Sending extra hugs ((()))
It is horrid having a sore mouth and not being able to eat what you like. You are not moaning at all, if it hurts, it hurts.
Glad your puskins have brought you lots of joy over the years. I know ours do too, drive us mad sometimes when they are all being terrors, but, we adore them and pamper them.
Ah, so it was miss Sleek licking the butter under the cloak was it Toni. I hope she didn't eat too much, or there could be a rush to the loo
Thank you once again for being under the cape. I hadn't even noticed my Cholesterol had dropped, obviously I need more scones to keep it balanced
He is the most amazing Cardio. He has indeed helped many a person up from the couch. I took some launching, that's for sure   I was his youngest patient when I had my first heart attack in 1994 when I was 33. He has looked after me ever since.
The angina is a bit unstable, which is part and parcel of my heart disease and damage, plus it comes on with exertion and stress too. At least I know I can juggle the pills a bit as needed.
Emmental, oh yes, very French. President butter and President cheese, fab u lous.
There are LDL and HDL as part of cholesterol studies. The LDL they call the bad ones and the HDL are the good ones.
I cannot watch the vet progammes and things like that, I end up bawling and taking ages to calm down. I know, I am a wuss. To think, I was going to be a vet. :?
Tenerife will be lovely, OH had a time share on Lanzarote, many years ago. Then France mid summer, oh boy, that will be HOT. I would have to live in the pool. It will be lovely if Charley can come along to Tenerife too.
Hi Joan, has the Dr said anything else apart from feeling thirsty. Did they do an abdominal x ray? I seem to recall they were going to do something like that. He said that was clear though?
I don't know the answer as to your stomach pain, something would have shown on the x rays if there was a problem. Having both in your blood can be an indicator of a problem, but he would have to confirm it and talk to you about it. Leaving extra hugs for you and Sue and the doggies too (((())))
Hi there Mig, good to see you and glad you are ok and doing well with the weight loss - it does pay to read the labels, they are be real eye openers sometimes. I have been there many times in the past and know what a difference it makes. Take lots of care.
Oh Elizabeth you are having a rotten time, you being poorly with bad colds and sickness and then Dan and Lucy being unwell too. It will be a worry for Lucy, after a break, plus getting over being ill as well. I am not surprised she is feeling anxious bless her. Sending lots of extra strength your way and extra hugs. (((())))
Maybe have another Birthday when you feel a bit better, just let me know and I will be there with a new cake
I hope the appeal regarding the ridiculous new transport arrangements goes in your favour, it always seems to be a fight against red tape and cost cutting.
I will send OH round to sort out the Medusa hair, :? Take lots and lots of care hun.
Hi Barbara - yes, Easter can be wintry, I remember snow at Easter time on more than one occasion in the past. It has been lovely the past couple of days.
Pills are a rock and a hard place really. I am up to nearly 60 a day, since my Tramadol increase. Hence the Cardio said you are on enough to floor a horse.  But, he said, you must take them, you need them, or you would not be able to function. That's ok, I will keep taking them........... :?
I will take the sanity of the forum and we can share the sanctuary with everyone else too. You and me both, I wonder what planet we are on ? :?
you must pop into a Costa and look for an emmental and mushroom toastie, you won't regret it (Oh and the lemon muffins are wonderful too)
Sorry that Niamh has been poorly, I hope she is better as soon as possible.
Stretching is good, says me who cannot, well, not without sounding like I am breaking into pieces.
Hi to everyone else, Carol, Christine and all. I think we need a bit of strength, so I will leave this for everyone
Take lots of care, Love to all XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hello Mig Elizabeth Barbara Aidan and anyone else I missed
Mig you are doing so well. do you feel any different.
Elizabeth sorry I missed your birthday I hope you had a good day. I hope you will all feel better soon.
Barbara you could not be lazy you don't have to be moving around to be busy your mind is working well and your hands. I hope Niamh
feels better to day.
Aidan thank you for answering I had a body ex-ray and he said there was nothing even the scan in my throat. I said I know it can be cancer he said we will talk about it. I have to go back next month
I said I will have had the op on my foot he said you will alright to come its on the 3'rd floor. I do drink water quick that could be the pain. ( sorry to go on) I hope you and your o/h are alright.

I think that last night's picture helped me a bit Aidan. I went to bed in a proper state with my back : after a rough night it's eased a lot
Hahaha!! Yes not enough scones leads to serious cholesterol lowering
Miss Sleek has just the right amount of butter - usually!!
33 is so young to have a heart attack, but it happens. Suggests you have a lot to thank your cardio for It's good there is a plan to help the angina. Your personality probably doesn't help being 'on the go' all the time so to speak.
France in the summer... :? yup, but there is a pool Tenerife is ideal just right perfect temp. Never too hot never too cold
Barbara poor Niamh :? weeks with a poorly throat? I bet the DR says it's a virus too bless her that is too long ((()))
Yes a holiday. I also hope Charley will come, but it would mean leaving her GF behind....we shall see eh? Lucy would love it I know.
You must have a costa toastie! they are lovely emmental and mushroom is my favourite
Oh Elizabeth you poor thing! What a rotten time you've had. I hope you all feel better soon.
Such a shame Lucy has been off so long and now has to brave going back in :? It won't be easy for her ((()))
Thank you Charley had a great day.
I am not so bad, yesterday ended up dreadful, but not so bad today thank you.
Medusa hair eh? Oh dear.....shall I look you out a paper bag? My sister used to do that with hers when it played up!!
Take care all of you ((()))
Mig I bet you are enjoying cooking even more now though? I do if I give myself time to think and plan and prepare instead of eating any old thing. You are doing so well with your weight loss.
Joan the Dr seems to have worried you a lot. All I can say is often cancer shows in blood tests and you have had some? Horrible not getting answers and frightening. If you have a good GP I honestly would get an appointment and we will all come with you under the cloak. Sending love and ((()))
Hope Kerrin's tooth is on the mend. Carol I hope you and Mr T are doing ok too.
Love

Afternoon to one and all - it is very dark here, after two lovely days, have the lights on already, black as your hat as they say.
Hi Joan, good that you have an appointment with the Dr in a months time, to discuss all matters relating to your blood results. Yes, there are areas that can be cause for concern, but it is important that he spends the time talking things through with you.
You have the op to think of now, the 27th I think you said. We will all be with you without a doubt.
The pain you get would cause you to drink quickly, yes. Joan, you never go on, or moan about anything. Lots of healing vibes coming your way.
Hi Toni, I do hope the love and light and strength helped everyone and sorry that your back was in a bad way, all my sympathies, I know how fragile they are and when we do more than we should, oh boy does it shout.
I do have my Cardio to thank for at least 5 cardiac catheterisations, I had another 2 in France. He calls me his angiogramme veteran. less of the veteran if you don't mind
No, you are spot on, my personality / anxiety does not allow me to stop, even when I do stop, I am still going, if that makes any sense at all. :? I can be wiped out with Fybro and go to rest and I am WIDE awake, fidgeting. No wonder I am on a shed load of pills, just to keep me relatively grounded.
The holidays will be lovely, as you say Tenerife and the other islands there seem to have a year round temp and there is usually a good breeze blowing off the ocean.
The pool will be welcome, I am sure, when vous etes en vacance.
I am glad Miss Sleek knows when to stop with the butter, I think Pepe would go through half the tub, but that would be a disaster.
He said Miss Sleek came over and they did some Zumba, then carpet gliding. Must have been overnight, when I was chemically coshed.
Tuna today, but only Mother wanted some, the other two are not bothered. Fine, don't eat it then.
Kerrin, I hope you have something sorted with regard your mouth pain, AB's per chance.
Carol, I hope you and Mr t are both ok, taking things one day at a time.
Mig, will be busy perusing the ingredients and rustling up some lovely meals
Elizabeth, I do hope you are all better very soon and that Lucy was ok going back to school. Extra hugs to all.
Christine hope you are ok and your eyes are not too sore.
Well, it must be time for afternoon T
I will put a few nibbles out for us all.
Lots of love XXXX Aidan

Evening everyone.
Tooth was a bit better today so back at school although hurting a bit now.
My basketball team were fantastic and are Lambeth champs. Will be playing at London Youth Games in July. Now just the netball team to double , pretty much the same players.
Fairly relaxed weekend planned apart from trial photo shoot on Sunday.
Hope you feel better soon Elizabeth.
Off to catch up.

Evening all trouble with electrics this morning so her came back and sorted it ..and put us a new light outside that turns on dim and brightens when someone approaches..
Oh Joan you never go on and you will get there with all of us under the cloak with you...the 3rd floor..but hopefully they have a lift..something I don't like ..has for water I have to keep drinking with these kidneys but you can drink to much..dont forget tea counts..and nice and warm on your tum..
Aiden blimey ..you are on lots of meds ..but has long as they keep you safe..I can only imagine how you dont like taking them.. hope they keep you the way you are such good humour..I am a great believer in it .I wounder were the pic was taken I would be there in a shot .. you were so young at 33..amd very lucky to have such a good cardio..I remember us being away at Easter in North Wales many years ago in a caravan..glorious weather then the 3rd day it started to snow..
Toni our eldest left her GF alone while in Cyrus..her sister was so glad to spend the time with her..she didn't let on but we could tell with all the selfies of them both..now you nurse that back ..I had a feeling you would overdo things..I call it not giving in but it works against us sometimes...
Kerrin Im glad to hear the tooth is a little better..and the netball team are doing so well..yes make sure you relax this weekend..recharge your batteries..
Niamh is still poorly ..her mum had it first a very infected throat and has had 3 lots of ABs..so I certainly don't want it..
Hope everyone has a good weekend..xxxxxxxLove

Aiden, glad the cardio appointment went well. So you're taking enough meds to flatten a horse? As long as they are doing you more good than harm. You sound like me. I wanted to be a vet but I know I would spend more time crying than fixing the poor animals.
Toni, I stopped on my way in from work the other day and pulled out some dried up crocosmia (which should have been cut down months ago) which was covering the crocuses. That's the extent of my gardening so far this year. You'll have a lovely time in Tenerefe. Hope Charlie does go with you. Have you been overdoing it again with your back? Sometimes not easy to avoid it when things need doing though. Hope it's eased.
Joan, I hope your tummy is feeling better now. It is worrying not knowing what is causing the problems. Hope they give you answers soon.
Mig, don't worry about popping in. I hope it's because you are busy enjoying life.
Elizabeth, sorry to hear you have all been ill. Not a pleasant way to spend your birthday. Hope you are feeling better now. I wouldn't worry too much about the housework. Just do essentials and get plenty of rest.
Barbara, I hope we don't get winter now. I rremember one Easter taking the kids away. We sat outside with them having a picnic one day. When we woke up the next morning, we were snowed in and had to get a farmer to pull our car up a hill with his tractor so we could get out. Hope Niamh is feeling better. Have you started your exercises. I keep thinking about it but that's not good enough, is it?
Kerrin, sorry you're still have toothache. I'd contact the dentist about it on Monday if it's no better. Well done you and your basketball team. That's wonderful.
All these appointments I have are getting me in a tizzle. I called in to the dentist yesterday to rearrange my check-up. What about the 22nd she said. It's the week after. I'll take that one I said. Got home and went to write it in my diary to find she'd given me the exact same one. :? Went this morning to have my 3 yearly boob squash. Glad that's over with but had a very sore neck this afternoon because of the way I had to stand like a ballerina with my head twisted round and back. Got a date to have my new windows put it - next Friday. So I think all I have to do now is rearrange my dental appointment and double check my eye scan and massage. :?Christine0 -
A very early good morning - just after the midnight hour.
Joan, of course it is the not knowing, in any scenario, especially with our health issues. When we have an answer, we kind of know what we are shouting at, being in the dark is not nice at all, but we are all here to help and be with you.
You take care and love to Sue too and extra fusses to the lovely doggies, hope the heating is going strong.
Kerrin I am glad you tooth is a bit better today, still a way to go, but getting there.
Excellent news about the basketball team, Lambeth Champs, way to go 8)
Let's hope the netball team gain the same status.
I hope you have a chilled out week end and the tooth continues to improve
Glad you electrics are back up and running Barbara, the outside light sounds good, we have ones front and back, but just normal outside lights, not sensor ones.
You can indeed drink too much water, I have nursed a couple of people who had water intoxication.
I am used to the meds now, I do get confused sometimes, start getting morning ones out, when it is night time pills. A good sense of humour is important, even when we feel pretty darned rotten. I try and find things that make me chuckle, people watching is a great thing.
I would be there with you at that afternoon T, we would do some serious damage to the cakes
I am cold now, OH is boiled, heating has come on so I am keeping quiet while I warm up.
Hope Niamh feels better soon, Mum's throat infection sounded a really nasty one and no, you don't want it all.
So you wanted to be a vet too Christine, we would have been no use at all, I was bad enough with nursing, bawling with relatives and patients alike.
Every little bit is a bit done in the garden, I like crocosmia. All our mini daffs are out now, looking very nice too. Other things are growing well, our mini cherry tree is bursting into blossom.
I have a feeling that we will get some unexpected snow, just a feeling in my bones. Mother nature has a habit of taking us by surprise. Glad the man was there with the tractor, to pull the car out.
No wonder you were in a tizz with the appointments, I hope they are sorted now. The boob squish is over with, no, it is not at all dignified or poised in any way shape or form. No wonder your neck hurts, I would never get my neck in that position.
Windows next Friday, then the eye appointment and the massage, then you are sorted for a little while.
Right, I had better move, it is getting very late / early. A little potter, before a cup of T.
Everyone take lots of care, XXXX Aidan

Awww Two ickle bunnies Aidan
Good job Sleek wasn't about else they wouldn't be sleeping nicely!
I was cold last night because the night before it was too hot and I switched the heating OFF  Silly me
There's a large mole-hill outside which I need to attend to before the bot gets banked!!
I found a whole load of those wee daffs in the veg patch???
I keep distracted too as regards pain where possible and keep moving too. Use it or loose it I think!
Christine good morning! Tia wanted to be a vet, but you needed 4 A*s at least at A level. All A*s at GSCE so she fell just short. She is doing animal behaviour and wants to do hydrotherapy and rehabilitation if she can.
My back is a little easier today so I am tempted to get outside again!! A little tidying is good. This year I want the pond finished nd a herb garden up and running
I know what you mean about appointments...Lucy has 4 different consultants and physio ATM and we need ideally to book dentist and DR apts, but just now I know I'd not cope!!
I hope your neck is easier today :?
Great the windows are booked though
Morning Barbara My MIL is not allowed to drink too much on dialysis. 1.5L I try to drink 2 if possible including coffees and teas.
I hope the electrics are all still ok? The lights sound a good idea. we have many outside lights here only one PIR. Odd as the previous owner was a retired Policeman.
Lucy would love time alone with Charley, but we shall see. Selfies all the way.
Someone has upset me on facebook. Someone I knew at work. We have a group chat and in theory meet up regularly(ish). She accused me of ignoring her Told me I had upset her Not at all intentionally life is just too busy. She has RA and took early retirement. I feel very much like deactivating my account
Gosh that throat sounds dreadful and now Niamh has it Bless her ((()))
Kerrin you must be a great coach I am so pleased I am also very pleased your tooth is finally settling down. BIG phew!!
Gosh thanks for the cakes I have had one of each
I hope you are feeling ok today Joan? Sending you some ((()))
Hoping Carol is ok not grieving too much keeping busy and that Elizabeth isn't too poorly. Sending a bucket of medusa hair de-activating gloop
Love

well let's get some cakes out for Barbara's GD Birthday, hope we are in time for the buffet
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Right, cakes sorted for GD Birthday, we aim to please.
Hi to everyone else too.
Thank you Joan, we are both doing ok, keep pottering around and doing washing and the fussing I can do. I am a champion potterer
You both take care and have as good a week end as possible, hope you manage to get out and about with your lovely doggies riding along too.
They were so cute, those bunnies. Good job they were high up, or Miss Sleek would have been low to the ground and wiggling ready to pounce.
Oh dear, we don't want Bott stranded on a mole hill, best flatten it :?
Daffies in the veggie patch, well, it will be a nice show of colour Maybe you can uproot them when they are over and move them to a more appropriate place.
I am sure the pond will be lovely when it is all sorted. This one looks quite nice
Hydrotherapy and rehab for animals would be a very rewarding job I am sure, for Tia. Good choice.
Now, steady away with that back Toni, glad to hear it is feeling a little easier, but careful, if you are out in the garden, says me, who does too much, we are peas in a pod.
4 different Consultants and physio and Dentist and Dr's, ok, you need a PA. :?
How ruse of the group you have on FB, being totally unpleasant. None of us can be everywhere at the drop of a hat, we all have things to do, appointments, family, life.........it is not a case of ignoring people, it is the way things are. Her look out, take no notice, you can always block them and then you won't see anything more about her, or her comments. I have quite a list of people that I thought were friends, who are now blocked.
Things are hard enough without such folks adding their two penneth worth.
Have another cake, I will put the kettle on and we will people watch for a while
Thought we should have some more, in case the Birthday ones all vanish
You have been steaming up the car Barbara, oh dear, mind you ours does if all four of us are in, it is usually on auto climate, but sometimes you have to override it and ramp up the AC. It is good though, as soon as it detects sunshine on the dashboard, it turns on the AC, for the front vents - wonderful and cool.
Glad that Niamh is feeling better
Enjoy the party.
Love and hugs to everyone else, Carol, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Elizabeth and all XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Right I am back and logged in this time....
Aiden thanks for the buffet food..our eldest son her dad did the buffet..and she ended up with two Birthday cakes...one from mum and one from us..you are right Aiden some people we just don't need in our lives..such a shame that they don't have the sense to see beyond what they want...
Toni thankyou..she got present and money so is happy..hope that back is behaving
I have just watched a program about a man that rescues kangaroos..he only has a metal shed he lives in..no toilet and no running water..but he said all I need are the Joeys..he lets the babys sleep with him to keep them warm and stop them pinning for mum..if I ever win the lottery ..would love to help him..right I will stop rambling... xxxxxxLove

Evening all
Have been busy with the knitting needles and trying to get a little cardi done for my little Graycie but it keeps going wrong so have spent a lot more time than usual with the knitting needles in my hands. Cannot believe she is 3 months old tomorrow already where does time go. And where the last 2 weeks have gone since we lost our poor Snowie I really don't know we are both coping ok with it and last week we had a very nice card saying sorry for our loss signed by all the staff from the kennels we used every time we were on holiday and in it was some forget me not seeds which I must remember to plant in June. My worst day is going to be tomorrow when mr Turbo is at church, as I am not going tomorrow because I am going out later in the day so want dinner early and it was on the sunday around midday when it all started with Snowie and I shall be in on my own for the first time since. but then again mr t will be suffering the same thing while I am out later. but i'm sure we will cope ok.
Oh my Aiden those cakes look so yummy so think will sit with one maybe more oops did I really say that   and a cuppa.
Toni i'm fine miss doggie lots but we are talking lots about him
and have lots of memories of him.
have a drs appt on Tuesday to see if I can have my water tablets everyday instead of every other day as I am suffering a lot with swollen stiff ankles on the days I do not take the tablet. so wish me luck.
hope everyone is as well as can be expected
will be back again soon :sun:Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Aiden, hope you managed to warm through before OH realised the heating was on. I hope your bones are wrong about the snow but there is time yet. Love the wittle wabbits.
Joan, hope you are having a good weekend and your heating is behaving itself.
Toni, oh yes, see to the mole hill. We don't want bot getting stuck. Is he on duty again? Just as well you knew they were daffodil bulbs. I read once about someone who thought they were onions. What a shame Tia didn't quite make it but I think hydrotherapy and rehabilitation will be a wonderful job. Wow, I can't believe that person said that about you. Surely she knows how busy you are.
Barbara, happy birthday to your GD. Oh to be 16 again. Two cakes? Lucky girl. Glad Niamh is feeling better now. How lovely looking after the joeys. It must be very rewarding for him.
Carol, the time does fly past doesn't it? Bet Graycie is getting more beautiful by the day. It is still very difficult for you after losing Snowie but be strong. You will be fine. (((hugs)))
Another appointment I forgot about. Came downstairs this morning dressed in just whatever I picked up, hair all over. Opened the curtains to see a man knock at the door. Opened it and it was the man to do the gas meter safety check. He told me that the man who comes every 6 months to take a reading could have done it as it only takes 2 minutes. Don't think he even touched the meter, just looked at it. He said it might be him who comes to read the meter next time it's due. Hope so. He was very good looking. I'm watching a web cam. A giraffe has been due to give birth for a few days now. Nothing happening though.Christine0 -
Evening to one and all. Raining here, misty too.
Fancy you GD ending up with two cakes Barbara, how wonderful, there can never be too much cake. Glad a good time was had and she is happy with her presents.
I am sure we have seen that programme before, he is out in the sticks I remember, in what is not much more than a shack, in the baking heat. (all those bugs, snakes and spiders :? ) He was doing a fantastic job, raising the little Joeys.
We only won a lucky did, so we cannot help this week, maybe next. Wouldn't it be lovely to just to send help to people who do such wonderful things. no names, no idea who from.
Hi Carol, Graycie is three months old already, goodness, where did that time go, it seems like a week.
I am sure you will sort out the knitting, don't let me at it, or it will be fit for nothing.
Two weeks since Snowie passed away. Bless. I am so glad you are talking a lot and sharing memories. How kind of the kennels to send a card to you, that's really lovely, some flower seeds too.
Try and keep nice and busy when you are at home, you will have things to prepare, put the tv on or the radio, fuss and potter away. My Aunt always said, when you are stressed or worried or upset, go scrub the kitchen floor  I think she meant keep occupied. Sending extra hugs to you both ((()))
Help yourself to as many cakes as you like, they are all calorie free, fat free, sugar free.
I hope the visit to the GP goes ok, so you can get some relief from your painful and swollen ankles. We will gather under the cloak and come along with you.
Hi Christine, yes, I warmed through thank you, today I have been blowing hot and cold, I was boiled when I went for a nap - I am getting worse with my body thermostat.
So, the gas man was rather charming and handsome, what a pleasant start to the day 8) plus he said he might be back soon to read the meter.
Has the giraffe given birth, must be a worrying time, hope all goes well.
I hope everyone else is ok, Toni, not doing too much, Pepe will ask Miss Sleek when they Skype in the night.
Joan, hope you are toasty warm with your heating working well
Elizabeth I am wishing those bugs away and that you feel better very soon, the same for Lucy and Dan.
Mig, I bet you are rustling up some tasty dishes.
Kerrin I hope you have managed to get some good rest and your tooth is feeling better.
I had better move and potter a little, tennis on from Indian Wells, love that tournament, it is near Palm Springs in California, were I stayed for a little while, wonderful place. Hot, but dry, so you don't notice the heat quite as much. I think it is 37 degrees this week, so pretty hot for playing tennis.
I remember when we arrived at the hotel, the lady said, there had been a mix up in the rooms and would we mind having a suite - er, no, not really we had a lounge, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, balcony overlooking the pool. Very nice too.
I am rambling too. Everyone take care, XXX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I did sleep tight thank Aidan Not sure why.
Maybe it was all the cake and people watching!! Could be that Charley's GF cooked my dinner for me!!
You are right some people take form us and we ought to block them. I saw, oddly enough, another ex-colleague last night when I went to pick Lucy up from her friend's house and told her. She said it was ridiculous and I should ignore her.
Diddicat threatened to go to her house and do her business in her garden
I will uproot the bulbs now I know they are there might be narcissus?? I have put a label there so I can find them
Charley helped me overseed the front lawn and it rained overnight so I am very happy
The graveyard is overflowing with crocuses
Christine Gosh yes imagine eating daffodil bulbs!! I am being careful and have just been watching to see what grows the last 8 months and will continue so I know what we've got here.
The bot is indeed back on duty, but rescued if there's a risk of frost and doing a great job too
Oh no! Imagine that man arriving like that when you aren't ready! I hate that. Sounds a waste of time anyway :?
Carol I think it's lovely that you and Mr Turbo are so 'there' for each other. I agree with Aidan keep BUSY and the time will pass. I don't think you'll forget the seeds what a thoughtful idea.
Graycie is 3 months today?!! I have to agree with you where does time go?
We'll be there with you on Tuesday under the cloak to make sure Dr helps your ankles.
Barbara my kids always got at least 2 cakes!! One from us of course and one from their Nan (on Dad's side)!!
I'm glad she had a great time and that Dad did the buffet!! Good on him he is a proper 'new man'
Aww...I hope you do win the lottery so you can help that man with the baby kangaroos. This is what happens to 'rescuers' they deprive themselves. Our Cris Skez is the same. I hope they get their reward in Heaven.
I hope all is well with Joan, Sue and the doggies. Joan will Sue post when you have your foot/ankle op?
Love to everyone

Hello Toni Aidan Barbara Carol Christine and anyone else I missed.
Toni yes thank you it's the not knowing that's worse. I hope all of you have a good weekend.
Aidan the only problem we have with the boiler is when we turn the thermostat down the boiler switches off. we have rain as well.
I hope you and your o/h and pussie's have a good day.
Barbara you are a kind helpful person don't be upset by people on fb that don't know you we do and you are lovely.
Carol you will sort things out talking it over. have a good day.
Christine people always knock at the door when you don't expect them. when I was young I put my dad's hair in curlers when he was a sleep there was a knock at the door he was not very happy.
Hello Toni yes sue will i'm only in for 1-2 days. I hope you have a good day.

Oh my goodness, is it Sunday already. I have been in every day, some times twice. But my mind keeps going blank. I don't know what to say to anyone. I just burble. :? So I'll just send everyone big, gentle hugs, then copy the cafe pets and go to sleep.

Morning all
hope you are all well just popped in for a cuppa while I await Mr Turbos phone call to say he is on the way home and I then I shall be off to put the dinner in so that it will be ready almost as soon as he is home been very busy this morning all dinner is prepared ready to go in oven I get the phone call from mr t rice pudding is cooked for afters it will just need reheating in microwave for a couple of minutes when needed have even made my self a snack tea to take out later as not sure if ill be able to get anything decent to eat where I am going later, and as I have already had a couple of meals out this week and don't want to sabotage my weight loss this week by eating burgers and chips and that sort of thing. so as soon as dinner is over I shall be on my way out to enjoy myself at Wimbledon Stadium for a stock car meeting.
Yes Applerose time dose fly by and yes she is a beautiful little lady
yes losing our furry friend has been and still is difficult but we will get there i'm sure. in fact I have been ok this morning because i have been busy but oh boy sitting here now even with the tv on it sure is a lot quieter and less fraught than this time 2 weeks ago. believe me.
Aiden yes the knitting will get sorted after i have sworn at it numerous times. and cakes were delicious.
Toni yes would appreciate peeps under the cloak on Tuesday wishing me good luck. and i am surprised my self how mr Turbo and i are managing to get through the loss of Snowie together with no cross words between us.
Yes Joan we will sort it out thank you.
well have just had the call from mr turbo to say he is on the way back so must be off and get the dinner turned on and cooking.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Afternoon to one and all - quite dull today, but warm enough to have the grill in the kitchen window, nice to get some air through.
Toni I am glad you slept well. I am sure cake, people watching and having dinner prepared for you was delightful.
People are all too willing to take an rarely give a thought past their own finger ends. We don't like such people and Pepe is in full agreement, he will accompany Miss Sleek to "visit" that person's garden. He can throw litter from one side of the room to the other, so any borders would be well turned over We will have to watch that they are not planning an adventure when they are skyping.
Ideal that it rained, after seeding, good timing. Daffy bulbs are very poisonous, goodness, mistaking them for shallots would be an easy mistake, but a very unpleasant one.
Lots of crocus in the graveyard, I bet it looks really pretty and peaceful. How is Rev Delhpine, hope she is recovering.
We only won a lucky did on the lottery, no one won the jackpot, so maybe next week. Someone wins eventually.
Hi Joan, we are all ok, I am pottering today, sorting washing drying and doing, well, done the ironing. There wasn't a lot and I didn't even get into a lather. Having the window open helped.
Does the boiler not come back on when you turn the thermostat up, or does it stay off ? I hope it is not messing about again. Grrrr
I bet your Dad looked a Bobby dazzler in his curlers, when someone came to the door.
Hi to Sue and the doggies too.
Hi Kath, don't worry, as long as we know you are ok and getting out and about. Sunday is a day of rest (did I say that ) ! I don't blame you for snoozing, all our three are fast asleep.
Hi Carol, I am glad that the morning went ok and you were busy away, I was thinking of you and sending lots of hugs to you both. Dinner sounds lovely and I might pop in for some rice pudding, I used to love my late Mum's rice pudding, she always put condensed milk in, mmmmmmmmmmmmm. I could never eat the skin on top though
I hope you have a good afternoon and well done for taking your own supply of munchies, burgers and chips are ok, but they are empty calories really.
I thought I heard some strong lanquage aimed at the knitting
Count me in, I will bring scones and a mini vacuum, so we don't leave a mess under the cloak.
I am sure it is a lot quieter than the trauma's of two weeks ago. Good that you are chatting away and no cross words, that's wonderful.
Right, some cakes for the afternoon
Is that enough? Maybe not
That's better. We don't want to run out. :?
Time for a cuppa me thinks, I will potter away.
Hi to everyone else, Christine, Mig, Elizabeth and all. Take care
