Afternoon to all. Right, who put the main heating on m0150 m0150  today was supposed to be cooler, with breeze. Actually 8 degrees hotter and flat calm.
Yes Barbara, I am melting.............. Windows open, fans on, cats flaked out.
Dearest mods, can we have some summery emoji's pretty please, for those of us who melt at the drop of a hat.
Hi Kerrin, way to go with the tennis, team Kerrin, wonderful results, two trophies, excellent, you must be very proud, if a tad burnt by the sun. Hugs for the ouchie hot spots.
Glad the headaches are more tollerable, let's hope a gradual increase in the mtx will be ok this time.
A work from home day on Monday, sounds like a good plan, with appointments etc.
Tomicat will be ok with the treats that Sleek and Pepe dropped off. They are all huff and puff, no calories, but filling all the same. One of Sleeks magic spells
Hi Joan We know to hold our noses at the other GC, it is done in one of those press button machines, so you get something masquerading as coffee
Today we were at our local and favourite GC, where the coffee is a million miles apart, made with the proper coffee machine, by our friend who knows just how to make perfectly strong and smooth coffee.
The scone with jam and cream was equally as good
Hope you are both enjoying the warm weather, you like it when it is warm, better for your ouchies.
Hi Kath, I have tried to avoid the sunshine  wrinkle phobic, never mind getting in a total lather. Just back from having my podiatry appointment. Boy it was hot when we got in the car, leather seats were BOILING. Better when the AC had been on a minute or two.
Don't worry, we cannot always have lots of news. I don't mind knees, so feel free Hugs for the ouchies.
Spring Onion Paratha, looks and sounds fabulous, I will take a couple, save them for later when it is a little cooler. Thank you.
Hi Carol, I think London has topped the records for the highest April day since 1949 28.7 degrees   Not quite that hot here, but that's fine, I am plenty warm enough
So you are off out, for the early bird menu with the Church group. Hope there is a lot more choice for you all. Enjoy
I know the feeling, verging on throwing the computer through the window. Mine does the same, just shuts down and vanishes. Sometimes, Google Chrome will remember your pages and keep your post, then others, it's all gone.
It was nice to go to our GC and have proper drinkies today. Everyone was sat out, so we had the whole of the inside to ourselves, suits me fine, undivided attention
We are all so different with the weather and how it affects us. The hotter it gets, the more pain I get.......most people are opposite and feel better when it is warmer.
There were hundreds of Unicorn's in the GC. Overpriced, but Silver said it was not his place to set a price on such things. He believes that sparkles and Unicorn magic, are always free. ( I would have bought one if they had not been silly ££)
I have just put the dryer on low, while the windows are all open. No way are they going on a hot dry..........
Hi to Barbara, who will be along shortly Choir practice tonight if I am not mistaken. Via the shed, of course.
Hope you are as ok as can be and your DIL is steady away. ((()))
Hi to Toni, How is MIL doing? Any decisions on treatment? Or are they going to leave well alone?
Sleek has been over this morning, they were out looking for mists, but they didn't find any today. I think the Nymphs have a stock of it for now though.
Is Bot out and about, doing the lawn? How is your neighbour who was in Hospital? I hope she can get to choir practice.
Hi to Lucy and Paul Charley, Tia and all.
Hi to Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Charrisse and all who are about. Enjoy the fine weather.
Love and Sparkles for now, will check back later XXX Aidan

Evening.
Phew it was hot today, even for a South African. Still hurting from burning yesterday, much more than I normally do. Also my neck is really giving me grief. Sigh. At least the headaches have calmed down a bit.
Yes my kiddies did well yesterday. I am a qualified tennis coach so do have an advantage although none of my kiddies do tennis out of school. Big comp next week, best we’ve done is 2nd although don’t think we’re good enough this year to win.
Kath, hope your knee is feeling a bit better.
Time to retire for the day, catch up with you tomorrow.

Just a quick hello to you all.
Barbara missed choir practise again  Mind you it has been hot m0150 PHEW!!!
Kerrin's head is not so sore - all good
Looks like they are not going to operate on MIL but if so how come they are keeping her in??
V odd :?
Glad Aidan got to the decent GC and hope he and Barbara do not melt.
Sleek has taken her meds well bless her. She is planning on Skyping Pepe later...they didn't find any mists today even though they went early.
All kiddies are well and happy
I wanted to try pumpkin pie so that ice cream will do instead Thanks!!
Carol - the cards came and they are lovely and would you believe the catalogue too on the same day?!!
You will be at target
Thanks to Kath for the spring onion paratha yum Of course I was out in the sun when I got a chance
Hi Joan all is well thank you. Busy in the village getting ready for Best kept village again ::)
Sorry to be brief

I am so sorry, I have written a long long post, the pc decided that there was no internet when I went to submit, therefore the whole thing went into the ether. I cannot talk about it, I am SO mad.
I WILL write again later, promise. I am stalled with this computer, it might be going out the window.

Oh dear Me Aidan!!!
Sleek was out super-early doors because there was MIST!!! lots of it and came back saying Pepe was quite worried last night as dady threw his laptop at the wall......
Luckily he is a quick-thinking pusskin (I know, I know he does give a different impression, but he can be quick thinking ) and he threw a cushioning spell around it and then levitated it back safely where it should be.
The mist they collected is of very high quality and will be taken to the nymphs later on together with some jars of herbs from Sleek's basket in her ickle house.
A quick hello to Joan who will be along shortly.
Kerrin if you happen by. Not only is Tomicat getting some low calorie (no calorie) treats to fill him up, but he has been enrolled on cat 'boot-camp'. Starting this afternoon
Love to everyone

We all run on little electrical impulses, so sharing our little sparks of energy, never goes amiss. XX
Will write more later, Pepe did save the computer, with his cushioning spell, in fact he saved quite a lot of things, pots, cups, etc etc. I was fuming I must say. Calmer now though.

Right, let's see how far I get this afternoon. B has had a good sort through on my all in one PC and stopped so many apps from running in the background, that you never need or use, they just feed information back to microsoft
I am trying to remember everything I wrote yesterday.
I know Toni's MIL was still in hospital. I had an inkling that they would not be choosing surgery as an option. Strange though, when they keep someone in. It is not as if there is a sudden change in the need for bed space.
I don't know what happened to Barbara, I do know that the catering jar of pickled eggs, has gone from the cafe and was found in the shed.
There was definitely singing, Sleek and Pepe heard it on the crystal ball.
Kerrin is hoping that the tournament will bring home the trophy, that would be wonderful. Glad the headaches are not as bad, gentle hugs for the ouchy sunburn. (SBC Arnica Gel is really good and well worth keeping in).
Barbara and I did melt yesterday, it was like mid summer, not Spring. Better today, bright, but not as hot, thank goodness.
I even managed to get all the ironing done this morning, without getting in a lather. Tumble dryer is on, but only on low. Windows open and a bit of a breeze (along with the flies)
Some dedustification of the lounge and bedrooms, immaculising of loo's and degermification of laundry When the sun shone in onto the glass tv shelves it was a sea of dust   I set B on a mission to dedustify asap.
I am deliberately walking away from the pc, leaving it on and then coming back, so far it has been on since 11am.............. :?
There was indeed, early mist, which is very highly prized, as it vanishes so quickly on warm days. Sleek and Pepe were off like a shot this morning, to gather as much as they could carry, in their large jars. The Nymphs are very happy and will make extra special woven magical squares, for our ouchy needs.
Pepe has told Sleek that Daddy seems to have calmed himself, after the computer "glitch". He did well to cast a spell of cushioning so fast. I am impressed.
He didn't say what herbs Sleek had brought with her, for the Nymphs, all keeping tight lipped about it.
So Tomicat is going to cattyboot camp, gosh, he will be as fit as a lop. He is liking the treats our duo are sending him, filling, but calorie free.
Oh, I found sugar free digestive biscuits in Sainsb yesterday, they are really nice. They are by Siro, a Spanish company, well worth looking out for, they dunk very nicely.
http://www.gruposiro.com/en/company/businesses/biscuits
Anyway, that's by the by. Thank you Toni for showing Silver in the mists, Pepe said he was with them, gathering mists with his wings, for extra strong sparkles and like you say, calming influences, for us all. If Barbara has eaten a lot of pickled eggs, then she will need all the calming magic
Hi Joan, thank you, I hope you have a good Suesday too. Out and about in the good weather, while you have the chance. Did you make it into town on your scooters today?
Hi there Barbara I know, lost posts, computer not behaving, I was nearly shouting rude words. :? :?
The delete key is the one with the straight arrow on, above the enter / return key. Next to the "home" key.
i remember, you had your middle GD staying with you, you were worried that things might be amiss, but didn't want to push her for information. I hope all is well ((()))
Don't you be worrying about Monday, (easy to say, than to do, I know), but we will be with you and make sure there is as little traffic as possible. I am like you, places I don't know, I am not happy with, but, we will all get through it, just fine. There will be so many hands to hold
Now, did you enjoy the pickled eggs, or was the jar nearly empty when you arrived at the shed, in which case, there is someone else with "cravings" :? :?
The singing was lovely by the way.
Have you heard from Neuro yet? Nothing worse than waiting for a phone call.
I am hoping the extra healing vibes have eased that sore knee Kath, bless, it is ouchy and then some. t115006 t115006
I am glad we didn't throw our computers out of the windows  they have a mind of their own I am certain.
Now, that Saag Aloo looks very tempting, I might break a sweat, but I am going to save some for later, to go with our jacket potatoes. Much appreciated.
Right, that has taken me up to pill time, just nicely. Dryer has finished, cats are both settled...........tennis is on, sun is out.
We have thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow evening
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin will be busy with the tennis tournament, Carol will have been to lunch and then to meet up with her friend.

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi to all, a cooler and quite pleasant evening.
All seems quiet here, puskins are fine, Pepe has been resting, he was rather tired after the frantic mist gathering early morning.
More mist is expected, around sunrise. He has been casting spells, one, to stop Daddy from throwing computers and the other to magic some delicate mist traps, that they can leave on Pendle. Sleek thinks that is a good idea, then they can go and empty the traps.
They seem rather large and there are a lot of sheep that wander the hills........... We will see how they work. :? :?
Silver has been out in the mist, looking majestic as usual
Pepe has decided to wake up, have a snack and do some carpet gliding and clicking. His snack must have been to his liking. Unlike the pilchards that Mother Tosca had earlier. He gave them a very wide berth, with a look of "what's THAT" on his face .
I hope everyone is as ok as possible, hugs and sparkles for Kath's poorly knee, Kerrin and her sunburn. I wonder how the tennis is going for her team.
Toni, I trust MIL is ok and comfortable - any news on discharge / plans / treatments :? How are the best kept village plans progressing?
Barbara Did the Neuro ring? I bloomin well hope so. How is your neighbour and her lovely children.
Carol I hope you had a nice lunch with Mr T and then coffee with your friend in the afternoon.
Christine I trust you are as ok as can be, how are your eyes at the moment? Any plans for more courses?
Hi to, to DD, Toady, Mig, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all our friends on the forum.
I had better move, I need a potter around. I will take a potter into the Sanctuary and see the manatees and the other lovelies.

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Lucy has been after that unicorn cereal Aidanlooks like Lucky stars with unicorns and rainbows. Will eb very sweet but gratifying
Glad to read much immaculisation, degermificating and dedustification done Perfect!
BKV plans are going well. I have helped with one or two benches and boards getting rid of algae and such-like. Pom and I did one bench together (her late Mum's) my side was FAR better!!! The sun is still out but it is far cooler so I intend to do a little clearing in 'our' area.
I must also wake up my geraniums! I am a little late  Fingers crossed.
I have also been working on my own scarecrow and must get on with it too
The cats went out super early again and the traps :? you guessed it!! Caught several sheep and one or two lambs (they magicked some lambs to skezier's before they get 'taken away' - say no more) the other they set free.
Luckily plenty of good quality mist caught and placed in large kilner jars bought by Sleek from catazon (prime). Seems Silver's magic has done the trick and it is so magical it sacred them!!
What is it being used for? I think it's maybe for Monday's hospital visit for Barbara?
MIL did not get home and is now waiting for a 'camera'
Glad to see the PC is ok and not playing up. Maybe it was B maybe it was Pepe who knows.....all I know is Pepe is still telling tales of his cushioning spell
Passion fruit and ginger pie - did you make 3 because I am running towards it.....SPLAT!!!
Those sparks of energy look rather powerful
Barbara you must be cross about not getting the call Bad enough when you are stressing about the route to get there with it being a new place

Waiting for B's Brother to arrive, not sure if SIL is coming or not, time will tell.
Computer had the same hiccup yesterday, but it didn't interfere with my posting. B is going to swap hard drives and put this one in another one - (he has a stash of computers in his bedroom cupboards ).

Sorry it's taken me a while to arrive, but I stopped after every post to eat some of the yummy food, especially the Unicorn cereal. We ate beneath the gazebo today, Popped into H & B for more CB oil and capsules for Chris, and Cod liver oil and Vitamin D tablets for me. A question for Matron. If I have my Adcal D3, Cod Liver Oil AND a Vit D tablet, is that too much Vitamin D for one day?
I see there are 2 of us at the hospital on Monday. I'm there at 8:30am, so will probably be able to scoot beneath the cape for Barbara.

Hi to all, I seem to be very late tonight. B is changing me over to one of the spare ones, from the stash that has been gathered over the years. I am fed up with this one (which is not old by any means), closing down and restarting of its own accord.
So, I will be brief, as B is busy away at his desk, sorting out my replacement............
I am glad I found the right cereals Toni, glad Lucy liked them
Here's the link where you can buy them from
https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Breakfast_Cereals/Kelloggs_Unicorn_Froot_Loops_375g.html
I saw some on Amazon, they were £27 a box, as they are limited edition by Kelloggs
I am sure your side of the bench was completely immaculised, no room for green benches in a BKV
The weather warning is still in force, but we have not had one drop of rain, nor a rumble of thunder   I guess some areas will miss the storms and others will get a deluge.
Pepe is a bit miffed that his broom has vanished. I said Hemione had to send it to Hogwarts for a service. Same with Sleeks. They did natter on the crystal ball though, still in awe of Silvers magical powers. I think you are right, there will be an awesome magical calming sparkle for hospital visits this coming week. t115006 t115006
I remember your scarecrow from last year, it was really good
I did make three pies, I always do, just in case
I would assume MIL is going to have a gastroscopy at some point soon. It is the least invasive, even though you have a tube into your stomach and beyond. They sedate you though and numb your throat. :?
Hi Joan, Dad is doing fair, forgetful, but he has us to keep him reminded and up to date with what is going on. He rings if there is anything he has forgotten or needs reminding of and we see him most days.
Thank you for asking. ((())) It can be trying and tiring at times, but we carry on.
Hi Barbara, don't worry, we will be there for as long as it takes on Monday, we can be in two places at once, so Kath will have hand holding too. We will bring tissues, for eyes that might water. Silver is coming with us, under the cloak, I had better ask Toni to add a Stable block in the cloak of many rooms
I have my static duster in the kitchen, I use it to whallop little flies that come in and also to dedustify things.
Glad to hear that your neighbour is doing ok. Serves her ex right, for being such a ........... hope he is happy in his pokey little flat.
So, you did eat the pickled eggs, they seem to have aided your singing. I will order some more, from the cash and carry Of course it was nothing to do with any cider, not one bit of it.
B is still on with changing me over to another computer...........I might vanish for a day
Good that your GD has been busy with the housework, bless her.
Hi Kath, that's fine, eating your way through the posts and ending up with Unicorn cereals. We will all have them on Monday morning to give us extra calming powers.
Nice to sit out under the gazebo, then to pick up some supplies at the health shop.
In answer to your question about Vitamin D. It is possible to take too much, but, if you are taking Adcal D3, which is 400 I Units, then cod liver oil, and a vitamin D tablet, you should be well with the maximum recommended dose which can range from 2000 I Units to 4000 I Units. One Cod liver oil, the Adcal and a vit D tablet should be fine.
Mushroom and spinach, don't mind if I do, thank you kindly. How is your knee, I will send some more healing vibes your way t115006 t115006

I am here on a different pc, still an all in one, one, but this is new to me and B has been setting it up since yesterday afternoon  bless. It is much faster, much better processor and should not shut itself down without asking, we will see how things progress
I thought Lucy might "need" a box or two of the unicorn cereals, we should all have a box in our cupboards. Maybe we could send for a container load from the USA.
Pepe was glad to see that his broom had reappeared in the closet (I have gone all American now lol )
They nipped out for a brief fly round this morning in their wet weather outfits, no storms, just gentle rain. We could see lightning in the distance last night, but nothing came of it. It was very warm, much better today.
I can see mists on top of Pendle, so the duo might well be off again while we are having a siesta.
Ah, Silver must have organised the stable in the cloak of many rooms. It is quite a trek to get round all the rooms in there now  Little cages for the Possums and Bush Babies, kitchen, lounge, bathrooms, rest rooms, holistic therapy room, meditation room for sending out sparkles and bright blessings, a medical scrutiny room, with zoom camera........wow, what a cloak.
We will be there from very early doors, sorting traffic, applying waves of calmness and well being, whilst assisting in two places at once. We are THE most clever of friends, with just a little magic t115006 t115006
Looking forward to seeing the scarecrow, who is taking shape, nice to hear
B and SIL arrived early afternoon and came round with Dad, then went back to his, as they were going to have a McD and watch the football with him, before heading home. They were both well, nice to see them.
The other newish all in one that I was using, B will reinstall everything to as new, then we will sell it, they are still fetching high prices on Ebay, so might as well eh.
I am glad that Pauls Mum is being super well looked after. Wishes do come true, for good care and lots of love I hope they do the camera asap.
Hi Joan, so you got some of the downpours last night and some lightning too. I guess some places were hit by a deluge, mainly North Wales I think. As long as everyone is ok, lightning can do so much damage, we tend to underestimate the power of Mother Nature.
Have had a nice at home day. B has been busy setting this computer up for me. Happy boy I am now. I have been pottering and washing / drying / degermifying etc.
Hi Kath, you are very welcome to the advice. One Adcal will be fine, along with the others, plus cheese My cardio said that half the nation is deficient in Vit D and should take supplements.
Popcorn and wonderful cake has appeared, ready for tomorrow. Is there a spare cake, so we can try some today. Toni said she has some clotted cream, so it would be rude not to use it :?
Some extra hugs and sparkles for your knee t115006 t115006
Barbara will be singing long and loud, (although the cloak is soundproof, which is a good job, when we are all in there, with animals and Unicorns too   )
Hi Barbara, so you had some rain too, kind of you to share it, across the valleys I don't mind, it is cooler than last night, I was starting to wilt.
So you are used to hunting down the Unicorn cereals, best let Toni know where you found them. I will keep an eye out too. Whoever gets them first, posts the picture - deal
I am happy away with the new one from the stash, (it isn't brand new). B has been so busy getting it all ready for me. I kept out of the way, with my cloth and degermifying applications
I have packed some unicorn treats as well, for tomorrow's appointments, baked some scones, whipped some cream, made some jam, cleaned the bathrooms, I think we are all ready for your visits. Tissues ready for running eyes.
right, I had better move myself again, after several potterings and no worries about this pc shutting down and doing its own thing.
Hi to Carol, I did see you going into the shed, carrying an arm full of hours. Hope you are all ok. Just writing out one of your cards, to post to Nephews wife, for her Birthday
Hi to Kerrin, I hope your little soldiers did you proud, with the tennis and all the other activities they are involved with, under your guidance. Time to recharge the batteries a bit, over the week end, before it all starts again :? Hope the headaches are improved and the ouchies not too painful.
Hi to Christine, Mig, Elizabeth, Toady, Charrisse, and all our forum friends.
Let me see what I can find for T time. I know Kath wants to save the lovely pear cake, for tomorrow.
Love, hugs and sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 t115006 XX Aidan
