Evening every one
After losing my post yesterday I will try again glad I made you smile with my pictures of Graycie she is a real little monkey. She copies everything her sister dose. and gets up to her own mischief too. trouble is she dose it all with such a sweet smile that you cannot stay mad at her for long.
Today has been a bit chilly and very overcast still it is suppose to brighten up by the weekend. Mr T is really grumpy this evening i have just asked him something and was shouted at well that's ok i will just ignore him until he behaves   men. well its our fortnightly church meal tomorrow evening so see if travel is better this time still at the earlier time.
Barbara Happy Birthday glad you have had a lovely day.
your right about the look to me it say look at me i'm so clever but still sweet enough to eat.
Toni hi yes Graycie is very sweet too sweet she is a little monkey believe me. yes they do have a lot of toys between them.
Joan We all think Graycie looks like her dad.
Kate Graycie certainly is mischievous and very adventurous too.
Aidan do we have baby Hippos yet. Believe me Graycie is into everything and more she is really very mischievous and adventurous.
Its that time now to potter so love and sparkles to everyone t115006 t4591 t115006 t4591Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all, it is chilly, heating on low and heading for a frost. B has been out and wrapped the wisteria's up, to keep them from being caught, like they were last year.
I am glad you have had a lovely Birthday Barbara Too much chocolate, no, not possible
I think it is definitely time to rest a bit now Toni. I knew, Sleek keeps us informed on the activities of Mum and other Peeples. Wheaties, patches and anti inflams were all much needed. I hope things are easier today t115006
Pinkies out at the Ladies lunch sounds quite gentile and far more restful. No slurping T says me, who throws it down himself, in full view of the whole t room.
The village must be completely in bloom now. t69044
Ah, Mrs Darcey is coming here, that's why I heard a Scottish meow earlier, when they were all on the phone together. We have earplugs, I might just go into the bedroom and hide  I will have to be on duty, to keep the litter from flying everywhere, there will be much dashing too and fro, during breaks and Sleek and Mrs Darcey will be trying on all the Tiara's  I think Pepe will sit there and say "yes dear", on more than one occasion
Apparently Sleek has ordered this one, from catazon prime
Very fetching he thinks, Sleek will shriek when it arrives today. Her ickle house will be needing an extension.
Yes, his Lordship does rosebud lips, slow blinks, winks, etc. Talk of him and he is now shouting in the kitchen...............
We have baby hippo's, they are all well, mothers and babies.......
I hope Barbara was not too tipsy on the Cider. The cake is lovely, it was very tempting to face plant in it.
You are very welcome to the cake and the card Barbara. I had to stop Toni from face planting in the cake......just in time.
I can see frost on the roof next door :? :? hopefully the bubble wrap will keep it away from our wisteria's.
So some nurses didn't clean the tray they were using for the IV's. That is not my idea of a sterile work area, tut tut. See Matron after work.
Good idea to have a week of ab's orally. Just to be sure. Some actimel would not go amiss, after all the ab's, just to get some healthy bugs back into the system.
I hope you had a lovely time at the GC with Mr B and your Niece.
Hi Carol You did make us smile with the pictures of Graycie. You need 4 pairs of arms and eyes everywhere when they are at the "exploring" stage.
So Mr T is in a mood. Some anti grumps sparkles on their way t115006 He may be covered in glitter, just to warn you
Men, they are a funny breed
I hope your journey to the Church meal is less frantic. t115006
As you will see, we have baby hippo's, they are cute, but Mum's are looking after them well, with the Vets looking on, to make sure all is ok.
Well, I had better have another potter. Pepe is staring at me from the kitchen door, waiting for MORE food.
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all.
Take lots of care, love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 XX Aidan

Lovely morning although there has been a frost overnight hope village plants are ok :?
Thank you for the breakfast Aidan I am all ready now for the ladies lunch for the hospice later on. Pom's husband is taking myself and another lady as Pom will be already there due to taking the table centrepieces
I think I might put something nice on don't you think? No tiaras for me though. OMG Sleek will be thrilled when she sees the new Tiara from Catazon Pepe knows her so well doesn't he? Yes Dear, Yes Dear!
You heard Mrs D's Scottish Meow? she is a Devon Rex so you'll hear her and she might want a ride on your shoulder!
I have been down to the Hippo enclosure and peeped (thank you for the pic!) they are so sweet!! Adorable I kept well back (safety first) as the mums are not as friendly as our shy but gentle Manatees.
Carol that is exactly what little sisters do! they copy big ones (I was one!) and get away with it too
Being girls there has to be a house FULL of toys takes me back to when mine were small.
Keep your head down until MR T sorts his mood out  men!
I hope the journey to the meal goes a bit better this time fingers crossed.
Barbara I am glad you had a lovely day. Much deserved There is no such thing as too much chocolate is there?!!
I had my slice of cake with a cup of tea (practising for the ladies lunch - obviously it would be inappropriate to face splat today :?
I am not impressed at the lack of hygiene  That never happened when Lucy was in
Morning to you Joan I hope all is well with you all and you have some sunshine. Are you going to watch the Royal Wedding?
Love to everyone

Toni you enjoy your tea with the ladies..ladies that lunch is it.. I made sure I wiped the tray down before the nurse came just in case..
Aiden I love the tiara..and the baby hippos.. oh bless I must go and see them..
And thankyou for the breakfast pastry's..everytime the nurses came I was thinking now Aiden would be imaculising (SP) all the equipment...now you mention actimel I have got my yogurt maker here so picked up some sachets yesterday...not sure if we had a frost or not..but my sweet peas look ok..
Its Niamhs day today..we made it Thursday because the little girl next door..I saw little she is 10 loves to play with Niamh so if its nice they can have a picnic in the garden

Good (I think) afternoon all.
Barbara, I'm glad your day was good.
Chris was busy in the front garden this morning, as it was brown bin day today. He just has the back to do now.
I love Sleek's new tiara. I've never heard a Scottish miaow. But I love all things Scottish, so I would like to. And those baby Hippos are too gorgeous for words.
I hope Tosca had some of the Sardines yesterday. Well, all the puss cats really. Today's is definitely for humans only. Beetroot feta grain salad. Enjoy."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all, all plants were ok and the wisteria were happy to be covered. It was very frosty tcold
I hope you have a lovely time at the Hospice Ladies T and cakes "do" with Pom's Hubby taking you........../Definitely put something floaty and summery
I have heard some shrieking, so I gather Pepe has shown Sleek her new Tiara    He knows her very well, yus my dear (remember that phrase? Arthur Mullard was it)?
Yes, we heard Mrs Darcey, oh, my Lilac Siamese's mother was a Devon Rex, he had one very curly hair on his back  they are lovely.
My Black Siamese, was more than happy to sit on my neck and shoulders while I was busy with the housework, he was so funny.
The baby hippo's are doing well, suckling and looking cute, their Mums are keeping a close guard on them and we can only see through the one way very thick perspex windows.
Sleek will be over later, while we are having a nap, they are going up to Pendle for some purple heather, Sleek wants some for Mrs Darcey's wedding outfit.
Hi Joan, yes, you are quite right, there is always someone older and we are only numbers, days, weeks.............who made a year, a year? :? :? :?:
It is going to be a lot warmer over the week end and into next week. 20 degrees, I can just about cope with that I think. We will see :? hope you Sue and the doggies are ok.
I don't think we will be watching all the ballyhoo on Saturday for "the wedding". A look at the dress, see what tiara's and jewels are on show, let them all get on with it, we will have tennis to watch. Sleek, Pepe and Mrs Darcey will be hogging the big screen.
I am with you on the Royals Barbara, I think the Queen is a credit to the Monarchy, the longest serving Monarch in history. Wow, that is some achievement. She will be looking very colourful I am sure.
Glad your sweet peas are ok, it is going to be cold again tonight, likely down to freezing for us, up here in the woods
I would be immaculising any surfaces that are involved in medical intervention. I think my slight :? obsession with cleaning, stems from the years of being told that everything had to be spotless and I mean spotless. We used to scrub and scrub with all sorts of chemicals, but we didn't have MRSA or Norovirus bugs on the wards. Sisters word was law and she would check up on everything, it was the norm.
Yes, the yoghurt maker is fine, they are all live cultures, so that is the main thing, to get some good bugs back, after the AB's have wiped a lot of them out. One thing always causes another
That's lovely, if Niamh and your neighbours little girl can have a picnic in the garden, they will love it and you will have to have a picnic with them too
Eye Clinic next Wed, keep reminding me, I will forget, Toni will remember and get the cloak ready. Neuro are deff stalling, for some reason.
Hi Kath, Chris has been busy, out in the garden, B was out there yesterday and I did a little pottering and feeding plants, until my back said "STOP".
How are your ouchies, I detect there are some lurking, so I will send some extra woven magic squares over, with one of the possums. t115006 t115006
We love all things Scottish too, I always feel drawn to move there, but I don't think we will, we are very settled here and not far from Skipton, where mums and dad are at rest.
Tosca says a big thank you for the Sardines, she loves them with a passion. t4591
The Betroot Feta Grain Salad looks gorgeous, I am in there already. Thank you kindly.
The Hippo's are adoreable, all cute, they would like a cuddle, but I am sure Mummy Hippo's would be none too keen.
We seem to have been quite busy. Dad had a fall in his front room and smashed the glass shelf on his TV stand. Remarkably he bounces very well, no cuts, no bruises, no idea what he was doing   Anyway, all the glass is cleared, the unit has been taken out by B and we got him a new one from Argos, a wooden one in black, that fits perfectly. He is lucky the top shelf didn't go and the tv come landing on top of him.
Everywhere clean and tidy and he is fine with it. He tends to shuffle his feet a lot, so that is always an added risk to falling or stumbling. I watered some of his garden pots too.
Right, I am running out of hours. I will make a move and go potter, before T and biscuits.
Love to all, Kerrin, Christine, Carol, Mig, Toady, DD, Elizabeth et al.
I will catch up later. Let me go find something to go with the lovely salad from Kath. Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t115006 XX Aidan

evening all
Just got back around 15 mins ago from our church meal had a reasonably nice meal. Had a bit of a diversion with the buses coming home due to water works being done on the road until next Wednesday. heard today our Lillie has her first wobbly tooth and is driving mummy up the wall because she keeps making it wobble with her tongue typical six year old it's been quite nice weather wise today. hopefully it settles soon as we go on holiday in 3 weeks time.
Aidan yes mums with more than 1 child need multiple hands and eyes definitely i know i did with my two when small there was only 2 years 8 months between them.
Mr T's mood improved during today but it is what I expected as we were out tonight. so perhaps the anti grump sparkles worked. so baby hippos have made their appearance at last don't think I will be too quick in cuddling any hippos though. we have Actimel everyday.
Toni yes when Mr t is like that i just go quite and let him get on with it cannot be bothered with it.  Journey to meal wasn't too bad only a slight diversion on the way back know what you mean about girls and a house of toys my too had loads. I am a big sister and found littles sisters annoying mind you there is nearly seven years between me and my sister.
Joan Kids grow up too quickly these days.
Barbara my GD did do child care courses with school and also has a younger brother and sister so is quite used to kids so she dose well by august she will have 3 under 7.
so its now time for a potter then bed.
Love to you all t4591 t4591 t4591Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all, another chilly night here, not quite as cold as Wednesday, so hopefully no frost :?
Did I hear the choir singing? I am sure Barbara was seen coming out of the shed, sideways
I hope you are not in too much discomfort Toni, having had a more restful and dainty day, with pinkies and the like at the luncheon.
Sleek said that Mummy was very smart, when she went to see a lot of peeples.
Her beloved went with her up to Pendle, had a nice fly round and gathered some lovely heather, for Mrs Darcey. They popped into the ravine (which is getting very dry), to see the Nymphs, they had to go inside, as it was turning chilly.
A new run of magic squares are nearly finished. It is a hive of activity, all in the secret world of woodlands and magic.
Hi Carol good to hear that the journey to the Church meal was not quite as fraught as last time.
Mr T is back on speaking terms, glad that the sparkles are working. I will send another shower of them, just to make sure. t115006
Lilllie has a wobbly tooth and is driving Mummy up the wall, sounds like the tooth will soon be out and the tooth fairy will be calling.
Three children under 7, gosh, she will have her work cut out. Good job she did some child care courses, I am sure they have come in very handy.
The hippo's are lovely, keeping very close to their Mums. Best not be cuddling. Much safer with the manatee's, they are super friendly and equally as gorgeous.
Three weeks until your holiday? Are you going to Margate, or further afield? Aren't I nosey, apologies.
B has been busy, deconstructing a lot of jewellery, that he made when he was starting out, practising etc. Sorting out more bracelets, two for £5..........he said if I was interested in any, they were £5  the cheek of it,
His stash of beads is enormous. Like a treasure trove. All sparkles, so I am often rooting and being told off
Pepe enjoyed a long gliding session on the ironing board, after I had finished pressing. He let me trim all his back claws   knock me down with a feather.......he was all soft and mushy, having his board to play on. I did a couple of his front claws too, then he decided that was a step too far
Caught up with the tennis, from Rome, nearly over, the weeks fly by.
Novak and Raffa are the favourites.
Off to the GC this morning, for our usual delights. Then gather some supplies for the week end.
Time I was pottering. Love and Sparkles to all, in out and around about. t4591 t115006 XXX Aidan

Good Morning everyone another sunny one and should be perfect for the royal wedding tomorrow.
Aidan thank you for the lovely breakfast I had some cake too yesterday even though I shouldn't have been able to fit it in! Pepe and Sleek have been back to the ravine!! They have had the nymphs run up a lovely neckerchief for Mrs D with the heather they collected! I'm sure she will love it tomorrow.
Sleek adores her new Tiara, but has do many she will bring the cat-trunk full of them and wear them in turn...Pepe will indeed be Yes Dear-ing Arthur Mullard I think you are right.
The cats will be hogging the big telly you and B relegated to the bedroom to watch the tennis
Oh dear poor Dad  that could have ended badly what can you do really except what you are doing? Wooden is safer by far than glass.
The meal was fabulous - in the raffle and the centrepiece raffle we raised £7 and a half thousand!! There were 43 tables of 9 ladies and I won our tables
It was choir last night yes. I am missing my neighbours who have family visiting I got told off for talking too
As if!!!
Barbara the cloak is aired ready for your eye examination never fear we will all be with you. I suspect Neuro see no rush now it's not a neuro issue. Still it ought to be done so you can forget it. If you haven't heard by Weds the eye guys might add some pressure maybe to them?
Ah Niamh will love her picnic with the (big-ish)) little girl from next door!
I missed you at choir last night......did you get 'held up' in the shed?
Carol well done for ignoring Mr T when he is been childish. Glad the meal was ok and the bus journey a bit of a novelty
I bet Lillie is keen to loose a tooth like her friends
I remember Charley's first wobbly tooth. The teacher told me it was due to come out any second I said...Me? I have to deal with it Scary!! 20 teeth later I am a dab hand!!
I had a sister and then 3 girls myself. My brother was nearly 7 years younger than me and he's still a pain
Joan and Sue will not have to watch the Royal wedding then because you will be with your friend Have a nice shop today both!
Kath Chris did a lot in the garden yesterday then? Always best to fill that bin if you can
I had my salad for my evening meal after my HUGE lunch out.
Daisy tried some sardines, but Tosca adores them so she had the most
Must get on else I won't have time for my walk!
Love to everyone

Afternoon to one and all.
A nice, bright, warm day here. Not too hot.
I seem to have lost my mojo and run out of hours in the afternoon. Been pottering in the garden doing the watering, while B has been busy re staining the spindles / sides of the decking steps. Look all smart again.
Toni had a lovely luncheon and there was so much money raised for the Hospice, that is just wonderful to hear.
Told off in choir practice, for talking, oh my, naughty
Barbara is still waiting to hear something that makes sense from the neuro department. they want more info and blood results..........
Who was it coming out of the shed sideways on I wonder ? If you were busy with your friend next door.

Morning everyone.
Been a bit of a laying low week for me. For the first time is ages, didn’t have to go anywhere with the kids so have been trying to catch up with the admin mountain.
Pain levels seem to be up this week, no idea why. Headache, sore ears, fingers, neck, tongue. Adding to the list daily! And hubby has a hernia with at least a 6 month wait for the op so it’s tow old crocs in this house!
Happy Saturday everyone. Enjoy the Royal wedding, football, tennis or whatever you might be doing.

How very delightful the super-posh tea set and tiny cakes Aidan thank you
Not sure what she brought over already, but Sleek has been to yours with her basket full again
She is so exited!! It's very sweet to watch really this is her first Royal Wedding she wasn't born for William and Kate's. Apparently MRs D will be popping in here en route and will be recce-ing places she and her Mummy can live soon
I hope you are ok this morning yourself and manage a siesta today. Chattering to neighbours is just fine methinks no harm in that.
Kerrin I hope it's not your jaw playing up? Mine has done in the past and then got stuck slightly open and my tongue REALLY hurt. If in doubt you can always speak to the pharmacist/even 111 - of course you know that anyway
I am pleased at least you have had time to catch up on paperwork and hope Mr K is coping ok with his hernia bless him ((()))
Are your two going to Pepe's to watch the Wedding today?
A quick woo-ooo! to Joan I hope all is well with you all and you enjoy the wedding today if you are watching it.

Oh the SHRIEKING has been something to behold   Miss Sleek fainted when she saw Meghan and that gorgeous dress and utterly FABULOUS tiara, that belonged to Queen Mary. The diamonds were as big as buttons   Pepe and Mrs Darcey revived her with essence of pilchard.
We all enjoyed the service, it was traditional, but with lots of interesting modern takes. Stand by Me is a great song. Lovely to see the Queen's personal Chaplain, what a charming lady.
The Cellist was amazing, had a true feeling and was totally at one with the music and the instrument, it make SO much difference.
The Preacher was very enthusiastic to say the least. I could see Camilla's hat twitching and some looks from Her Majesty :? :? But he was passionate about his words.
Sleek and Mrs Darcey have been on Catazon for a matching tiara, I did explain that it was pretty much priceless and belonged to the Royal Peeples, they are not available on the high street.
They have picked at least a 100 outfits that they liked, Amal Clooney looked stunning, Sleek definitely wants one of those.
I think our ears are still ringing and the neighbours are consoled that it was the puskins getting a wee bit excited, there was nothing to worry about.
Oh dear, you dropped your Kindle and broke it, oooops.
Dad enjoyed it all too. He came round for coffee and croissants.
Hi Kerrin, so you are catching up on lots of admin, of which there will be mountains I am sure.
Many hugs for the ouches and to hubby too, with his hernia. A 6 month wait, goodness, that is a long long time. If it gets painful and feels worse, present to A and E, then they will fast track (just a word from past work experiences).
I hope you enjoy watching the wedding and the tennis, it is all going on today. t4591 t115006
There were so many tuna sandwiches Toni, I think Sleek had been practising magic spells, the more they took out of the hamper, the more appeared. Pepe nearly ate too many and had to be winded, to settle him down
Mrs Darcey did tell us of her fly around Sleeks villages, looking at houses for your Sis.
All in all, we are exhausted and the puskins are all :animal_busy:
Hi Joan, hope you have enjoyed the day, watching the wedding. We did say we would not be watching, but, it captured us, all the posh frocks and jewels of the Royals and the A list celebs.
Wilco was always great to look round, we used to go to the one in Huddersfield when we lived there.
Dad seems ok after his tumble. He does bounce quite well, fortunately. No damage done, apart from the TV unit, which is now replaced.
Hi Kath, glad that your tummy is feeling better today. I was sending lots of good vibes to you, to help. t115006 Rice Crispies, toast and maltesers sounds yummy to me
Yes, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Thank you for the buffet Kath, looks lovely. I will graze later.
Just let me feed his highness..............
Right, he is fed and duly running about, still a bit over excited I think, by the Royal Peeples occasions.
Hi to Barbara, glad you enjoyed watching the wedding. You are right, the dress, the make up, everything, was just right. Nothing over fussy. Mind you, I could make a fuss of the Tiara, talk about diamonds, wow.
Oh was a bit testy then, oh dear, never mind, there was nothing else on tell him
Now you are all set to watch the football. Hope you win your bet. everything X for you.
We will be in siesta mode. I am taking an extra Tramadol, I need to sleep. I know, taking drugs is not the answer to everything, but, needs must.
Glad you liked the Egg Custard and the pastries and cups of Earl Grey T for breakfast.
Have you seen the Wedding cake, here is the tweet from the Daily Mail
Kensington Palace tweeted a snap of the non-traditional - and spectacularly pretty - bake, created by Californian Claire Ptak and made using 200 Amalfi lemons, 500 eggs, and 10 bottles of elderflower cordial made at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
500 Eggs, oh my days.................
A Californian lady, who has written cookbooks and started her little business in Hackney, selling homemade cakes on a market stall. Well done her.
Right, I must away, I am waning. Let me go find some suitable cakes to go with Toni's salad and Kath's buffet.
Love and sparkles to everyone, here and busy about. t4591 t115006 XX Aidan
Some individual wedding cakes, for us all.

A warm late evening / early morning to all. Looks like the sun will be shining for at least another 2 weeks, no rain at all
I think peace has been restored, Sleek has gone back to her house, with all her Tiara's and wedding favours that Pepe had made. Mrs Darcey has been transported north of the border. I think Sleek had nearly lost her voice this afternoon, from very loud shrieking
They all watched until the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, drove off to Frogmore House, for the evening reception. Of course, Sleek wants to get in touch with Stella McCartney, for a new outfit  her pocket money may have to go up a notch
I think we will all rest well tonight. Pepe is too pooped to peep. Bless.
I think this will be a short ish post, my back is ouching and then some, so I will gather a couple of magic squares and plant them firmly in place t115006 t115006 that and another Tramadol should help.
I hope everyone has had a good day, with all manner of events to watch. Chelsea winning the Cup Final, Royal Weddings, Tennis..............
Hi to Kerrin, hope you are feeling less hurty, sending some more sparkles your way t115006
Hi to Toni, Carol, Christine, Elizabeth, Mig, DD, Toady, Charrisse, Barbara, Kath and all...........
Leaving abundant well wishes and sparkles

Obviously my presence made their big day!!
Sleek has had a wonderful time over at yours said it was nice to have Pepe's Daddies watching TV with them. I think it helped when she passed out. She was exhausted and slept all evening, but revived in time to spend a lot of time on catazon
Mrs D has spotted a few nice houses near to us and my sister's son and DIL so all being well......
I think the basket is still producing sandwiches, but they are fresh so no problem the lid is back on.
There were about 30 of us at the do and it was brilliant! too much food a little fizz and lots of chatter. The dress was lovely classic we all thought. We loved the cellist and were told that it is the instrument which sounds closest to the human voice.
The gospel choir was lovely and the American Chaplain 'American'.
Harry and Meghan looked at each other with lots of love in their eyes so we wish them a wonderful life together
After the wedding the party continued with a musical interlude followed by the FA cup...yawn!
Barbara yes told off for talking at choir practise
You sang so beautifully at the wedding but why did you let that lady mime to your voice???
Kath I have your belly ache now. I think I ate too much sadly
Glad yours is better now
Better get on
Love to everyone
