t115006 Just a short visit, I've been watching Reece and Reeann's wedding video on FBook. I tried to get a still from it, but I don't know how. Reeann looked stunning in a pink dress. It was lovely to hear their voices, and I shed a few tears. I don't know if they had a cake, so I chose a small one to share with you. Just Reece, Reeann and her small family present in the court house. t4591 t115006
I couldn't count the baby spid**rs as they are all bunched together, and so tiny. So possibly hundreds. :?

m0150 m0150 goodness me it is HOT AC on full blast.
I hope everyone who had thunder and lightning last night, is ok. We never so much as had a rumble. Being up ere in t'north I know Stanstead was closed for several hours due to thunderstorms   good, you would not have got me on a plane for love nor money.
Hi Joan, I hope you doggies don't mind thunder, not sure if you had any, but it looked to be down south and around your area.
Poor doggy has gone over t115006 rainbow bridge to meet all our loved ones and pets too.
Our neighbours came over, as we were outside, they had buried her in their garden
They were both so upset, but we had a good chat, then next door came back and we chatted some more. Lots of hugs and tears.
The lady vet was lovely, was very careful and unhurried.
Very sad, but, as you say, the right thing to do.
Hi Mig, lovely to see you, good that things are on an even keel with the rheumy, go back in 6 months
Knit and natter, lol, that is what we used to do on nights at City Hospital. Mind you, no sooner had you knit a row, then someones bell would ring.
Nice that there are so many things going on. I know around here, a lot of libraries are facing closure, due to all the online reading. I still prefer a book, but understand the convenience of a e book reader.
Tramping through graveyards, tracing family history, you have been busy.
Well done on 9 months of target weight, so pleased for you and many congratulations.
A cruise, lovely, bet you are looking forward to it. visiting places around the Med. Wonderful. Waking up to new ports of call. PLus all the yummy things to eat on board Cakes, mainly.
Golden wedding, mmm, cruise or party? ? Cruise
Take care and pop in soon, let us know how the holiday goes, we will need to see pictures t4591
Hi Toni, so you were in the midst of the storms, I saw pictures of some of the lightning over Birmingham, it was pretty awesome. We have come off lightly. No rain forecast here, until second week in June  Even though we still have a weather warning for storms today and tonight :? :?
You will have read that we have been chatting to our neighbours, she was heartbroken, bless, so was hubby, but we got them talking and I was talking about Rainbow bridge, which set me off. t115006 t115006
They will need to rest now and take some time. Lots more hugs will be needed as and when required.
Yes, it was lovely to hear Judy padding across the floor, happened so often. Never bothered me and I remember it as it was yesterday, I could only have been 6 or 7.
So Paul slept through the storms  best be safe and not go planting today, if there are any more rogue storms about. Safety first. Mind your back too...with the planting......Matron's request.
We slept through a Police helicopter hovering over our park home one night, it was around for about half an hour, all the neighbours were up having cups of T, due to the noise. Next door said it was only a few meters from the roof. But us, no, fast asleep
Yes, Pepe has eaten two good snacks and then ate most of the tuna that we put down for Mother. She had had some and was off in the bedrooms, screeching, as she does, when she has had a treat.
He seems reasonably ok, no "headaches", or sickness. I wonder if he was picking up vibes from the doggy, you just never know.
Sleek left some more magic squares, she said you can never have too many  I trod on two this morning and sent sparkles everywhere. t115006 t115006 Pepe was very pleased to see her and was grateful for her visiting him.
Silver will do all he can to protect your Sisters new house We like purrrfect.
Hi Barbara Very windy here too, sunshine, hot, in fact I was in a lather with the tumbler on and the potatoes steaming to have cold with supper........mayo and black pepper.......of course.
The wisteria look lovely in Sleeks and Toni's village, we didn't hang about though, with storms lurking :?
See Toni, it is not just Matron worrying about your back.
I think we have escaped the storms in our neck of the woods, with an hour between us, we get similar weather I think.
B has been out in the garden, painting the decking side panels, on the ramp. It looks SO much better with the cable, instead of spindles. Just the handrails to replace now, with metal if we can.
We have looked after our upset neighbours and they are so grateful that everyone has rallied round and offered their hugs and support. That's how it should be. I am all old fashioned in that respect. Look after one another as best you can. Even from afar, we do that on here.
Niamh is on her way, enjoy
Hi Kath, that's lovely for you to see the wedding video on FB, I am sure you did shed a few tears, we all would without a doubt t4591 t115006
Thank you for the little cake, in celebration of Reece and Reeanne's wedding. t4591 t4591
Did you say hundreds of baby tarantu--s, oh my, :? do we have homes for them? Sorry, no, I cannot foster spid--s
Right my dears I am moving, I have sat and I have set, like stone. So I must potter a little. cup of T, with the lovely cake and then a nap, all being well.
Love and sparkles to everyone. Catch you later XX Aidan t4591 t115006XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Aw sad very sad Aidan, but your neighbour's doggie is now well and running free at rainbow bridge t115006 and will be there to meet them when it's their time ((()))
Time is what they need now. Oh gosh I don't envy them when they try to sleep tonight and wake up having 'forgotten' for a few seconds
Ok enough!!
Sleek was more than happy to visit her beloved, but remains alert incase he has a headache. She said he did know about the doggie and was very upset about it all remembering Cookie. He is a sensitive soul she says....
Good news is Pom (who was cuddling her doggie at 3am when the storms were overhead) called planting off as there were more storms due.
The sky rumbled about 3.30 for an hour before rain plopped down the size of old 2d coins!!! WOW!!!
All over with now, but t had become unbearably hot before. Thank goodness for A/C eh?
How lovely treading on two squares Sleek loves them too in fact I had to have words the other night as she was lying n our bed tapping them keeping us awake
The Wisteria that you and Barbara dropped off looks amazing!! If we don't win this year...... :?
Might need photos of the cable instead of balustrade???
Kath I hope that Reece and Reeann had a wonderful wedding and am very happy to share some cake with you in fact I won't even face plant!!
I always shed a tear at weddings and hope they will be very happy together.
How many sp****s?
Barbara thanks for the wisteria it looks amazing I'm sure it will help us win.
No planting today Pom doesn't like thunder and we have just had another almighty storm with rumbling fo a good hour before the rain!!
I hope Niamh is entertaining you both
Love to everyone

Evening all
Well it's been one of those weekends where the hours disappear. so glad I'm retired and no longer have go to work. we had our second open morning of the month yesterday. And we now have a brand new banner we can hang on our church railings when we are open ohttps://www.dropbox.com/s/mdoz8k23x85cvl1/Open morning NRBC Banner.jpg?dl=0n the Saturdays see the picture
its brilliant it has taken lots of coaxing our church treasurer to pay for it. but got it at last. was kept awake by a nasty thunderstorm last night started around 11.15 pm as we were getting into bed and continued till about 2am constant flashes of lightening and claps of thunder. but I was still up at silly o clock this morning. still I had a good nap this afternoon after dinner. we are still having on and off internet and this morning no sky television programmes until I rebooted the box maybe last nights storm had something to do with that but internet I may have to ring up about that on Tuesday if it doesn't settle. will catch up with you all again soon
love and sparkles to all peeples and animal lovlies t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 t115006Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all, a very warm evening, no rain, some clouds bubbled up and I thought we might get a rumble of thunder, but no. All is still dry
I think our neighbours will be shattered, all the lights were out early, as they were up all night on Saturday and then all the upset and stress of Sunday. Bless, it will seem so strange in the morning. t115006 t115006
Sleek was right, Pepe did have a "headache" just at siesta time. But it was a one off and no showers were required  :? Bless. He was soon settled on the bed, enjoying having his tummy tickled and chirruping.
I don't think he has every got used to Cookie not being here to be honest. Neither of them will sleep on her fleece on the back of the sofa. It is a no go area. He is super sensitive and his tummy seems to be the week point. Now, who does that remind me of   :? :?
I am glad that Pom called off the planting, with thunderstorms rumbling away, we do not want you out digging holes around Sleeks village. Glad the wisteria arrived safely, it looks amazing.
I did send Silver over with another one, not sure where he has placed it.
Small enough for a seating area, but perfectly in bloom and I think I will "borrow it " after the judging If you don't win this time.............Pom will be having the vapours.
Thunder Spots of rain, I like them, they are huge, really go with a splat, bit like a face plant
We had the AC going up to siesta time, when I actually managed to sleep for a little while
I think it will be another hot day today. Lots of humidity too, it is like Florida.
I will take a pic of the new works on the ramp, when all is finished
Hi Carol, so you have had hours being borrowed and put in the shed. Goodness knows how we had full time jobs and fitted everything in and still had time to sit down.
I am loving the new banner, it is super smart and Mr T is there to show it off nicely. I would willingly come in and rest my feet.
The Church treasurers did right, to offer the money for it, I hope it works well for you and the Church.
I was looking at pictures of the storms over London, they were pretty spectacular, scary if you are out in them though. The power of nature is awe inspiring. Millions of volts, in a fraction of a second, over and over again. You were up until silly o clock, my normal time of night
Nice to have a nap in the daytime though, to catch up. That's where the hours vanished.
Hope you can get the internet sorted. I bet the storms didn't help with the satelite signal at all.
BIL and SIL are coming over today, bang on lunchtime  they might go up to the clubhouse with Dad, there is a new cafe and shop and everyone says it is very nice.
We need a couple of bits from the shops (in town). That will be enough for the day.
B has the trailing lobelia to plant out, he had had enough on Sunday, with all the painting of decking sides etc, in full sun.
I will no doubt have to water, again. We must get some water gel thingies to put in the soil.
Right, I will away and potter a little, my knee is like a football, does not like hot weather at all. I swell up
His Lordship is awake, so I will see what he is wanting. Nothing, he has spread out on the floor, he is too warm as well.
Enough Aidan, hush now. Love and sparkles to everyone in out and around about. t4591 t115006 Take care, XXXX Aidan
Cherry chocolate and almond bread (with butter of course)
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I have toasted my cherry and almond bread Aidan thank you
So Pepe did have a 'headache' then? I hoe he doesn't have any further ones:? I hope that is the end of his 'oddness' for a good while.
Sleek fetched the mist herself as she has the last couple of days, checked on the temporary wisterias (of course you should have the patio one after judging!!) and then on her 'Aunty and Mrs D's house' All safely protected and will give off a nasty whiff if anyone else views it now  Sleek and Pepe
By the heck did we have thunder in the end yesterday! from all directions the lightening came!! Still the air is way better here now so that's something Oddly enough the splats of rain do rather sound like a face planting in a cake
I hope BIL and SIL do take Dad to the clubhouse and you two can nip to the shops a little break will do you good although I expect they'll pop in to say hello?
Yes please a photo of the ramp's new balustrade when you have time.
((())) for your poor knee.
Carol the banner is fabulous I bet it cost a lot! I love it we have an A frame double side board here as we have a wall no railings and it does work.
We also had the thunder and again late afternoon through until about 8pm. Lightening coming form all directions!!
Our TV and internet have both being playing up we think due to the storms, but today is the last stormy day Paul said so hopefully....
A quick Woo-ooo! to Joan! How are you today I said it yesterday but I hope you haven't had any storms to frighten Sue :?
Love to everyone

Actually there were 396 spid***. We already have a house full and loads in the garden. They'll just have to be nomads.
Apologies, but I spelled Rheeann's name wrong. Got it right now. I've pinched some photos, so have shared one with you.. So no cake today. But I'm sure you won't mind just this once. Don't they look gorgeous. But then I'm biased. They live in Columbia, Missouri and are into Farmer's Markets, re-purposed and pre-loved items.

Afternoon all very hot here but suppose most people have it..but thankfully no thunder it poured down last night at teatime but that was it
Toni I have seen the floods in Birmingham.. its because of all the building on all the green fields there is nowhere for the rain to go anymore..hope your village is ok..and glad to hear that Pom put off the planting..its a bit warm for it..
Carol the banners looks brilliant....and cant be missed that is what you need..glad you managed a nap after dinner ..our GD face timed me and was terrified with the thunder and lighting over London..hopefully that is the last of it for a while
Kath what a lovely picture of your GS and new wife..and I love her dress..very kind of you to bring cake into the cafe...
Joan...glad you got to your cafe...dont suppose they let the doggies in ..the GC nearby has a dogie cafe with cake and doggy biscuits..hope you both have a good day..well all 4 of you
Aiden oh bless your neighbours..like you say when they got up this morning they would have been lost..its so nice of you to let them talk ..its all you can do for now..rainbow bridge will be so lovey and peaceful and all the animals and humans will get on with one another.. ..so you have a new cafe in the club house ...oh will you try it out..good to hear that your relatives are taking dad ..he will be able to report back now get some ice on that knee...and thankyou for the almond and chocolate bread..
I have just filled a form in to take to the scan on Thursday and it say if you answer yes to any of these questions please phone us to see if the scan can go ahead..well I answered yes to two..any metal in your body and any kidney disease...not a clue what they will do
Right will go and try to cool off..

Evening all
Well it has been a lovely day here today we went out this morning about 10.30 and went to Richmond which is a bus ride from where we live, and after a lunch by the riverside we walked a little further along by the river and fond a bench to sit on for the afternoon. we arrived home about 3.30pm after stopping for another coffee before making our way home. We did have a little rumble of thunder this afternoon when we got back home but didn't last long thank goodness. Thank you for all your comment about our banner we both rather like it too.
Barbara apparently the storm we had the other night was an electrical storm that's why the constant flashing.
Kath your photo is really lovely and wow 396n spid**s don't mind them but not that many i will answer everyone else tomorrow as my internet keeps going of so I need to post fast
love to allStay positive always👍xx0 -
It has been Sunday, I am sure of it, just that there is only 20 minutes left of it now  :? :? Where did it go
Anyway, more of "the day that Sunday vanished" later. How is everyone?
Toasting the cherry and almond bread sounds lovely, a good way to get more butter on, to melt all the way through mmmmm.
Pepe did have a "headache", but, so far, he has been ok since. Seems more vocal and has sent a picture for Miss Sleek, doing a very long Pepe longstockings impression
https://photos.app.goo.gl/3GaevSlM5DJsuAsG3
She might like to pop it into her ickle house, bless her.
He has been a bit maudling, but that is the weather, it has been so bloomin hot, even with the AC on full blast.
Sleek spoke with Pepe at siesta time, telling him about the mists and haze she has been gathering. There is a full moon by the looks, so the haze will be very powerful in the morning light.
Oh no one else can view Auntie's house, Sleek has put a spell of pong around it, to keep people at bay  Pepe said it really honks.
Another storm, oh I am jealous, I love a good storm. We have had wall to wall heat and sun, not a drop of rain, everything seems to be south of Manchester, into the Midlands and Kent, around London as well. Stroppy now, we want a storm.
We nipped out in the morning, then back, then lunch, BIL and SIL went up to the new cafe at the clubhouse and then came round to us, they said it was really nice, the food is lovey and their cakes are wonderful too but, the coffee is not of any quality, that't the only thing. I think we might have to sample their fayre. SIL bought a bracelet for a family members Birthday.
They stayed until 5pm, then it was T and try and sleep in the heat. The AC had been on max, but with a house full of people it soon has its work cut out to keep everything cool.
We did manage to have a nap though, albeit a little WARM.
Then we were up just after 8, then neighbours who lost their doggy, came to see us, thanked us for being there for them and ask various favours, computer things, looking for cruises for them to go on, make more jewellery, sort out phone and lots of hugs and told we had hearts of gold. So, supper that was planned, was scrapped and it was a cheese sandwich, with beetroot lovely. Oh and an ice cream.
And that was Sunday :?
Thank you for the knee hugs, I will keep some on ice, along with some more woven squares t115006
Hi Joan, thank you for the hugs too. You are very kind. Just one of those joints that grumble in the heat and tends to give way without warning.
So no thunder storms with you, so far, which is good. The cafe sounds lovely, everything to your liking.
Hi to Sue and the doggies too. I bet it has been hot for them.
How many spid--s Kath, 396 oh my days   talking of spide--, B has just had to remove one from my bathroom light fitting, it was running round and round inside :? :? It wasn't a big granddad one that you get in September, but that's not the point.......
The picture is lovely, I did see it on FB too, they look very happy together and sound as if they love their markets and recycling items of furniture etc. Very pretty dress too. t4591
They are in between St Louis and Kansas City. I wasn't a million miles away when I stopped in Indianapolis, with friends. Just looked at their weather, 33 degrees   but I guess they will have Ac throughout the house.
Don't worry about a cake, Silver made sure there were fresh scones in the tin.
So you had rain then Barbara, you did well, we are parched here. The river is all but rocks and a little water at the moment. You can walk across it easily. Well, able people could.
I think it has been the hottest day so far, goodness I was lathered, I had to sit right on top of the AC to gather myself. I think today is a little cooler and less of the dazzling sunshine.
Thank you, we do help a lot with our neighbours, oh the things that we have dealt with over the years. From life saving, to shoulders to cry on, technical problems...........the list is quite extensive. B said earlier, I know we don't give, in order to receive, but, it would be nice to get a BIG reward once in a while
Dad was impressed with the cafe, as were B and SIL. She said I would like the chips and they had scones, so that's me sorted.
Is it an MRI scan on Thursday? They always check on where you have any metal inside, due to the magnetic field it can cause metal to get warm, but they regulate the scanner to accommodate things like that.
Kidney disease, they ask, as they often use a contrast dye as an injection, it just shows up the image more clearly. It is not always essential and is usually given without any adverse reaction, it only stays in your system for 2-3 hours max.
Hope you can keep cool tonight.
Hi Carol. Lovely to have a sit by the river in Richmond. B knows it well, he grew up not far from there. Lunch and then coffee (of course) before home in time for T.
The banner is really good, it catches your eye for sure
I hope you can get the internet sorted today, when everyone should be back to work again. Glad your rumble of thunder didn't amount to the same kind of storm again. I remember them from the states, we had some spectacular ones.
We have had the tennis on all day and we are having to put the catch up on, as we seem to have missed it with all the peeples coming and going.
Right. Off to the GC this morning, need a chill out time and at least two coffee's and a scone, then vets, then shop, then home, then a notice on the door, closed, due to hot weather.
Hi to everyone who is about around and in and out. Lots of love and sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 I must away, Pepe is shouting me from the kitchen, bless. He must be feeling a bit better.

Morning all
The internet seems to have righted itself again this morning I just wish it would make up its mind and either stay on properly or go off completely so that it can be reported. very annoying when you are half way through something and you lose it if you don't keep saving it as you go.
Aidan wasn't easy to get treasurer to agree to banner but we managed it we both really like it so it was worth all the coaxing, Just hope it brings in more people to our open mornings. A who knows maybe more into the congregation on a Sunday as well.
yes the storms have not been very nice. especially the one we had on Saturday as we were in bed and the lightening lit up the whole bedroom we actually left our bedside lamps on so that we could not see the flashes as bad. Someone was saying in church on Sunday there was over 20 thousand flashes. good to hear that Pepe is feeling better now. sending some magic squares sparkles and hugs for your knee.
Toni I think the storms do have a lot to do with losing the internet. Yes the banner is good its waterproof as it is vinyl. It will only be on the railings outside when we have the church open. it was around £60 I think but well worth it if it encourages more people to come in.
Joan yes the banner is rather smart Mr T and myself are quite pleased with it. our walk by the river was gorgeous.
Kath i don't mind spid**s but not 396 of them all at once Noooo not at all. your photo of the wedding is beautiful as i said on facebook dress is really pretty.
Its rather cloudy here after yesterdays clear sky and sun but is not cold just a little fresher than yesterday.
I must away now as i must go out to the high street to do a few things before i meet Mr T for lunch

Raspberry and Frangipane filled croissants, delicious, thank you Aidan. We had a dairy ice cream on the benches at 7.30 this morning. It was the Co-op's equivalent of a Magnum. Cool and breezy, but quite pleasant (the weather, not the ice cream)
Oh no Carol, problems with tinterweb is NOT good. Maybe some of those spid**rs got into the system.
Joan, what a pity you can't take the doggies in the nicer cafe.
Barbara, yes my new granddaughter is very sweet, I'm sure they will be very happy. Her mum said it is rather hot there at the moment, but I don't know whether they have AC in their apartment. But I'm sure Bella (their dog) would be more comfy if it were cooler.
Right, pinkies out everyone, we have Cornish cream tea for later, with a sea view. m0150"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon all a lovely breeze today but still very warm..
Carol I am terrified of lightning..especially in the night when like you say it lights up the room..what a lovely day you had at Richmond..sitting by the river..nothing nicer ..I wish we were a bus ride away form one..mind you we have the river Douglas..but it cant be seen..unless you hand over the bridge..
Joan what a shame they dont let doggy's in your cafe ..but I know they get spoiled anyway so its your treat day
Kath you had an icecream on your bench..I do love being outside.. I do hope your GS and new wife have AC ...I need to get one..thankyou for the cream tea..
Aiden thanks for the info on the scan I knew about metal but handnt give it a thought to be honest..but not a clue what they meant with kidney disease..just hope they dont have to inject die...I had to laugh at the closed for the hot weather... its lovely to be appreciated..tell B to do extra lottery.. maybe you can comment on the coffee in the park cafe..they might just listen.. good chips and nice cake is nearly there.. yes we had a very heavy downpour, but its has gone nowhere...the lawn is getting parched..
Raspberry and Frangipane filled croissants thankyou will save it for later just had one of Kaths cream teas..

Hi to one and all, on a very moonlit night. A lovely pale yellow full moon, high over Pendle.
Another warm day, not as hot as Monday thank goodness. Nice breeze.
Hi Joan, we are good neighbours, everyone says we are never allowed to move from here  Sorry, if we win the lotto, we are moving, overnight to a castle, with a moat No, we don't mind helping and supporting at all.
I hope you are both ok and the doggies too. We did enjoy the garden centre, not over busy, most people wanted to sit outside, but I don't share my scone with wasps and flies, so indoors is just fine.
Hi Carol, so your internet has rid itself of the gremlins, which is good. Whenever ours went iffy, you could bet it would be perfect when you rang to tell sky that it was going offline
I really hope your new banner brings some more feet through the doors of the Church, both to your open mornings and to the services. Church attendances are dropping all the time, which is a shame. I remember my Dads was always full to bursting, but that is a long time back now.
I was reading about the storms over London and the midlands etc. I think there was a total of over 63000 lightning strikes   I can imagine it was pretty intense, more like the big storms in the US and Europe.
When thunder claps bang right over the top of you and the house rattles, that I don't like.
Next door, she hates storms and takes cover with lights on and TV loud.
Thank you for the knee hugs, I keep telling it off, for being such a pain   t4591 t115006
Pepe is a bit more back to his normal fussy self, he is sat looking at his supper with a look of "what, eat THAT"  Yes, because it costs a fortune from the vets, so eat it, please
Hope you enjoyed lunch with Mr T, what was your choice, nosey or what Aidan.......
Hi Kath, you are very welcome to the yummy breakfast croissants, they are VERY indulgent and one is never enough.
Ice cream on your benches, at any time, is perfect. A lovely time of day really, quiet, apart from the birdies singing. Cooler but not cold, how sublime.
Spid--s in the tinterweb, well, it would not surprise me
I hope your GS and new GD have AC in their apartment, it is rare to have a place that it not chilled. Expensive to run though I bet, when you are cooling a whole home.
Pinkies out, with a sea breeze, wonderful, I don't mind if I do take T and scones, thank you XX
We have just an tinterweb outage........wonder if there are storms a looming :? :? All is back up and working now. I saved my post, just in case, not being caught out again.
Hi Barbara, much better today, Monday I was wilting, but Tuesday has been more pleasant. Hope you are cooler too.
I didn't like thunderstorms when I was younger. Dad said it was only God moving his furniture around I had to put the lights on, so I could not see the flashes. Now, I am hanging out the windows looking for them. The cats are completely nonchalant about storms.
Hopefully you will not need a contrast dye injection, but, be prepared that they could well use one.......
Yes, closed until Autumn, is on the back door now it didn't work, the neighbours were round again in the evening, just to see if B had found out any info on cruises, for October time. He had, of course. We said they are better popping into the travel agents in town and you can give them your preferred dates, travel requests, kind of ship, formal one, or more relaxed.............I carried on throwing chips about, ready for our cheesy chip butties.
Extra entries into all the competitions I do online. I have done over 67000 entries, over the years - I won once, so it is time I won again
Glad to hear that your Son feels well enough to go back to work, good idea with the anti biting wipes, there are some nasty bugglies out there and some VERY big wasps.
Hi Toni, I saw Lucy's posts on FB, enjoy Sleek will be over to spend time with Pepe, who is, on the whole, a lot better in himself, given the fact that he is always a delicate puskin :? Did all the flowers end up planted accordingly?
Right, I had better do some more pottering, it is late or early in the morning.
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, DD, Toady, Toni, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all.

Excuse me while I clear the crumbs away from my peach and cream cheese pastry. Thank you Aidan. Absolutely pouring here, or as we say in Notts "chuckin it down mi duck" Starting to feel like a duck - a lame duck.
Barbara, I hope you didn't get cancelled.
Joan, could the doggies go out today, or is it too wet where you are too?
So Froggy is in France. Hope you're having a good time Toni.
Aidan, I remember my gran covering all the mirrors in the house when we had lightning. I wonder what that was all about? And there was me out on the roof watching it.

That was early doors, off to EM Airport Toni. Have a wonderful time, my best wishes to la belle france. I remember Bergerac airport when it was a couple of huts and not a lot else, with free parking for as long as you wanted.
Sleek was over very early, to tell Pepe that Mummy had gone to speak a foreign language She tried the left with a dry crust bit, but Pepe wasn't falling for that one again.
They went out to gather some thick haze, to keep the magic square production going.
It is SO close, I wish it would storm.
Hi Joan, I am keeping up with extra tramadol, (not extra to the maximum dose, I never take the 8 that I can take). Usually about 4 a day, but going up to 5-6 now. I try and leave something in reserve, for those really ouchy times.
Have you had good weather today? It is very overcast, the air is thick, like treacle and we have weather warnings out, with no rain forecast :? :?  the warming mentions South Wales.......which, as far as I can remember, is not Lancashire
Hi Barbara I wondered when there was no post from Toni, then saw the note on FB. After all the hard work, a holiday will do her good. We can keep an eye on the villages and tend to the wisteria's. Sleek will be keeping watch for sure.
It was pleasant this morning, but now it is overcast and has gone very heavy, I keep having a "moment"
So you can feel a win, in your bones, now my right palm has started itching and apparently you must not scratch it. I will keep doing the competitions in earnest. I will let you know as soon as............
I think the neighbours have gone to the travel agents today, B did pick out some nice cruise options, with prices from reasonable, to a Kings ransom.
I did manage to get most of the chips onto the baking tray, then let B sort out the putting into and out of the oven.
How did you get on with the hospital, I assume they will still go ahead with the scan, they are used to metal bits and bobs and the like.
No, I do not go to Church now, I just cannot sit on a pew, for more than about 10 minutes, so I would be up and pottering, for half the service :? :?
Yes, have an extra danish, Toni won't mind and there are plenty over in France
I have had a sweep round Kath, you obviously enjoyed the cream cheese and peach pastry Croissants make the most crumbs and flakes, they go everywhere.
so it's chuckin it down, is it me duck? I wish it would here. Ta mi duck, I remember it well. Lancashire is more luv or luvvie, not duck and ducky
After a lot of digging around, apparently covering the mirrors during a storm was to ward off the lightning. If the mirror was in view, it could attract the lightning and burn the house down. As we know, this is not the case.......Some used to cover the cutlery, open windows to let the thunder out, all sorts of things.
I would have been up there watching the storm with you
Puss pastry custard slices, they will do nicely thank you Kath. I might "borrow" Toni's, for later Just to look after it of course.
I have checked up on all the lovelies and all the babies, (apart from the baby spid--s, Kath is looking after them :? :? ). They are all doing well, eating and drinking and growing. I think I saw two Skunks  we will have to be nice to them and not startle them, or we will be super whiffy.
I had better have a little potter. I am getting very warm again. I wish it would just rain and be done with it.
Hi to everyone else, hope all are as ok as can be, in out and around about. Love and Sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening all
Joan did I miss you this morning..I am ok just the head scan tomorrow evening, then hopefully thats it for a while..have you got your results yet..if you have already said ..sorry I do miss things..
Kath it pored down here thank goodness the garden needed it ..but no thunder...yes i have got the go ahead for tomorrow..
Aiden they say its going to be 17 tonight here..I have my summer duvet on but miss the weight.. I have had a few moments lately..very close here now and dark...my mum did the same with the mirrors but never said why.. :? I certainly couldnt sit on a pew for long..suppose they are so uncomfy then they get your full attention so you have not had rain , blimey it will be dry...maybe tonight..got the all clear to go tomorrow I was half hoping they would say no  silly really...she did explain about the dye but said I wouldn't need any..phew....Toni should be settled now and relaxing hopefully, just what they needed.. yes the win is not far away..you let me know and the same here..
Spiders I had a very large one in my bedroom..and took a pic before I caught it in one of my T shirts and threw it through the window
Right t time love to everyone... t4591 t4591Love

Evening peeples
Hope you have all had a good day and been able to the things you wanted. I had a fantastic nights sleep last night and except for getting up a couple of times to go to the toilet I slept from 11.15pm to 7am. that is good for me.
Aidan Now I know my geography is not good but no don't really think South Wales is in Lancashire.
Yes the Internet Gremlins seem to have gone thank goodness. Our church also used to be full but not any longer so i do think there is and general decline in church attendances now. but lets hope the banner works for us. I hate the loud clap when they are overhead but I don't mind it otherwise. we used to live in a flat above our church hall and we always said we felt quite safe there because the building has a long lightening detector running down the church front wall. I am always arguing with my joints and yelling them off   I had eggs benedict for my Lunch with Mr T so Pepe is his normal fussy self is he.
Kath My Mum always used to cover the mirrors in a storm when there was lightening and she always used to turn the TV off too. wow custard slices i just couldn't resist. no internet is not good especially when it takes it into its head to cut off.
Barbara we only have a few coming regularly to our church and most of them are elderly. I don't mind the thunder or even the lightening if the lights are on. i will actually stand at the window and watch it. but not with the lights off don't like it at all then.
Joan Internet is working fine now we are not with BT we are with Sky. hope you Sue and the Doggies are well.
well it is now time to potter a bit before bed so night night to you all
love and sparkles t4591 t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 for everyone.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all - we had drizzle, hooray, finally, the ground is almost damp. I cannot say it actually "rained" as such. Nowhere near enough to wet the pots or grass.
They keep saying "weather warning" for us, we are now in the south west of England apparently :? :? We will get a storm one day or another...........I have three weather apps on my phone and every one is completely different
Glad you had some proper rain Barbara, I think you might have had our share too. I will share though, I can always throw water about with next doors hosepipe.
Summer DUVET, oh my, I would have to mopped with a damp flannel
Just the duvet cover for me, that is more than enough, my legs are out anyway as they have a mind of their own at night
I am sure pews were made so bolt upright, so you did pay attention to the Vicar. A lot of Churches have more casual and comfortable seating now, to step away from the Victorian sit up and beg pews.
I can imagine you would hope they said no, for today's scan. Don't worry, we will be there. Toni left the cloak of many rooms in our coat cupboard in the hall, all ready and aired. I have packed scones and put some more T bags in the kitchen area. It is late on in the day, so hopefully you will not be hanging about too much. We want you to be in, seen and out, back home, safe and sound.
Toni will be there anyway, as we can all be in at least two places at one time. She might bring some French patisserie with her.
Glad you don't need the dye, that's one less thing to worry about.
I am sure Toni P and Lucy will all be relaxing, I know they arrived safely at the airport in France. It is the one we used, we know it well. It used to be two huts, that was about it. Changed now though
I am all excited as to our win, I will message you the moment I am informed 8) 8)
A BIG spider, that is early in the season, goodness, hope that is not a sign of things to come   I am already on spider watch now and it is not even June :? :? Well done you, for catching it, don't send me the picture  :? :?
Hi Carol, that was a good sleep, you must have needed it. I normally sleep from about 3am until 8 or 9......
We have moved again, Lancashire is now in the south west of England apparently, according to the BBC weather..
I hope the banner works for your Church, I truly do. I know the C of E are doing all sorts of new things to attract new worshipers, including apps for Amazons Alexa. Just coming up to date with the modern technological way of thinking I guess.
You would have been ok with the lightning conductor outside.
So you shout at your joints too, that's ok then, I am not alone in my annoyance at their lack of movement and many ouchies.
Eggs Benedict, they are very popular, I often see people having them at the GC. One thing I have never tried, it is the one with hollandaise sauce?
Pepe is not eating tonight. He ate before siesta time, but is not for moving or eating at the moment. :?
I hope everyone else is as ok as possible. Christine, Elizabeth, DD, Mig, Toady, Toni, Charrisse and all.
Time for me to have another potter. My tramadol is kicking in and I am typing gibberish
Let me go find something nice for Breakfast. Everyone take lots of care, love and sparkles. t4591 t115006 XXX Aidan
