Shortish post for me too Aidan. Ouchies. Just wanted to mention that the fantastic cellist is from NOTTINGHAM. :D

Sorry you have my tummy ache Toni. Try some gingered chicken. Enough for 2 of us. I like your photo with the Sussex newlyweds.

Afternoon to all, a warm, pleasant day, bit of a breeze, so am coping at the moment. m0150 m0150

Hi Joan, You are quite right, the number of drugs that we take, it is a wonder we are not in constant discomfort with our tummy's. I take up to 60 pills a day, they all have a knock on effect.
Dad seemed ok yesterday, I am glad he bounces well. He has no bruises or marks, thank goodness.

The wedding will have cost in the region of 30 million ££, as it is a state occasion, the country pays. But, the return in money from tourism and people visiting London, runs into billions and everyone loves to see the Royal Palaces.

You are very welcome Toni, the breakfast was super summery and refreshing. Almost healthy   Blessings too, spread far and wide, like the seeds from a Dandelion :)

How wonderful that the new Duke and Duchess came to see you on their wedding day, of course, it will have made their day without a doubt. Great Picture, love it.

It was lovely to have all the puskins over, Tomicat and Jericat came later in the day, having been on their brooms, watching things live, whilst hovering over Windsor Great Park.

Sleek was happy that we all watched it, good for peeples to share puskin time. I nearly fainted at the long hidden Tiara, the Queen, who was bequeathed it from her Great Great Grandmother Queen Mary, has had it under wraps for decades apparently. Solid platinum, in 11 sections, the centrepiece is detachable to become a brooch. I would safely say it is priceless.

Pepe nipped out this morning, to gather some "haze" for the nymphs, apart from that he has been resting and recuperating from the excitements of the wedding.

Mrs Darcey mentioned a few properties that would be suitable for her family. Watch this space eh, exciting...............

Pepe has reversed the spell on the picnic hamper, we had at least a 1000 sandwiches, he has sent them to the cats protection, seeing as they are full of tuna, salmon and trout.

Glad you had a lovely time, 30 is more than enough to cope with. A little something bubbly too. Very nice. We loved the service, the Bishop, was, as you say, quite enthused in his words. I think my Dad would have said, ok, very good and all praise for your vigour, but, knowing when to stop, is also a gift.

We saw about 10 minutes of the Cup Final, where Chelsea had the penalty, then we went to rest.

I thought it was Barbara singing, the Lady did well, to mime, but I think Barbara would have looked equally as graceful.

Oh dear, you have belly ache, all the festivities. Hugs for it to go. It must be doing the rounds. We have all had a bit of "trouble".

Good luck with the Kindle. It might be a lot cheaper, to buy a new one, from catazon.

Hi Barbara, it was warm last night, not unbearable and it cooled off by early morning.
We could ask to borrow the Tiara, each keeping it for 6 months of the year. I would look after it very well. I will write to the Queen.:lol:

Everything back to normal, after all the pomp and ceremony. It was good though, we can do state occasions very well indeed.

The dress would easily buy our bungalow, nearly two of them I bet.

I am glad Charles looked after Meghan's Mother, she grabbed his hand when it was time for them to sign the Register. She did look a little lonely but I am sure she was taken good care of.

The cake looked and sounded delicious, imagine cracking 500 eggs

Hope you managed to get everything you needed from the little GC. We will be going to our normal one tomorrow, everyone will be wanting to sit out, so we will have the inside to ourselves :)

Hi Kath, sorry you have some ouchies, let me send some sparkles to you right away

    magical_sparkles_by_ladyofnight.jpg

I thought I heard that the Cellist was from Nottingham, how cool is that :)

I will dive into the lovely gingered chicken, thank you kindly. XX

OK, I have better have another potter. I am getting hotter sitting here. I will watch some of the tennis final from Rome, I guess Rafa will win.

Love to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Carol, Mig, Elizabeth, DD, Toady and all

    Evening all

Been a bit busy the last couple of days. yesterday we had the first of this months open mornings at church next one next Saturday. Mr T had his I pad going in the little room (where we have teas and coffee on a Sunday morning before the service ,) with a notice on steps of church inviting people in to watch the Royal wedding had a couple of people in watching with us. we didn't closed up 45mins later than normal. good day though until I scalded my leg while doing the dinner in the evening clumsy me :lol: Mr T's sister ins in hospital at the moment as she had a fall and has broken her hip and had an operation yesterday to pin it they think she may have brittle bones. this is the third thing she has broken in the past couple of years both knees and now her hip. she is 88. Mr T will visit her tomorrow.

Aidan sorry to hear Dad has had a fall but glad he seems to be ok. I love egg custard tarts was always eating them as a kid.
i thought the wedding was lovely loved all the bridesmaids and page boys.

Toni Naughty you talking in choir .

well folks time has run away with me and it is now time for bed so i will say night night all

Hi to all, gosh, it is warm this evening..........verging on the melting side. How are you doing Barbara, I know we both wilt in the heat.....

I see you have been busy Carol, nice that people were invited into the Church, to watch the Royal Wedding. Glad you enjoyed the day, but then you scalded yourself. Oh dear, magic cooling squares on their way. We never need any more ouchies that we already have to cope with.
    I hope it didn't blister. t115006 t115006

I am banned from moving pans etc, have had too many ooops.

Mr T's Sister has fracture her hip, oh bless, pinned and plate done. It is quite likely that she has brittle bones. Three fractures in the last couple of years, we need to wrap her up in cotton wool. t115006 t115006 I hope she is ok and mends well. Is she normally quite active?

Dad seemed to be ok, he came of better than the glass tv stand. Just so lucky he was not cut or bruised :?

Egg custards are yum. My late Mum used to love them, she would eat half an individual one, then save the rest for later. She was all of 6 stone wet through........

The wedding was lovely. Charlotte has a look of Queen Victoria I think, maybe just me.

Had a potter in the garden and gave everything a really good watering. Our neighbour had counted our pots and said we had 41, I said you know more than us lol. They dry out so quickly. Wilma and Mini Wilma (our Wisteria's) are in leaf now, but no sign of flowers. I check every day or so.  One day. I keep feeding them and tending them.

B did some re potting and sorting / tidying. We need some more compost today, any excuse to go to the GC :D:lol:

Our neighbour over the way, sent a text at 5,30, have made you both a Sunday chicken dinner, will bring it over before you have a nap. That was a very nice surprise and supper was sorted. How kind is that. It was lovely. t4591

Pepe had a quick chat with Sleek, during siesta time. He is still recovering from the celebrations :animal_busy: No doubt they will be out early morning, gathering haze and mists. Miss Sleek was fairly quiet, I think she has strained her meow a bit. She has some catsils, to suck.

I hope everyone is as ok as possible, hugs and sparkles for those who have nasty ouchies t115006 t4591

As said, we are off to the GC, take Dad out, do a little shopping, don't like leaving the puskins long when it is so warm. I am sure I will leak coffee today..........

B is on doggy walking duties for the neighbours who brought the lovely dinners over.

Nest door will pop round too, jewellery to try one and test out. B needs a Mannequin, so we shout for next door to pop round

Right, I had better do a little pottering. I am already the shape of a chair :?

Everyone take lots of care, keep cool and enjoy the sunshine at the same time. I see there is a lot of rain in Scotland. We need some here please.

    Good Morning Everyone :)

Another fabulous day. That breakfast was lovely Aidan and will not make my belly ache worse at all neither did those lovely fool cakes yesterday afternoon -wow!! I splatted I mine

I have taken some time to study Meghan's dresses in detail and they really are very classy. Sleek isn't sure she would have anything so simple. Her Meow is back you'll be glad to know the catsils soon sorted it along with whispering. Her replica Tiara arrived this morning and she loves it :) She has been using her temporary opposable thumb to cut out pics of the day and they are o the wall in her ickle house....

The money raised by tourism from the wedding more than covers 'our' outgoings and gosh it was a lovely day! Totally worth it.

How lovely having your dinner cooked for you! Mind you I expect they appreciate B taking their Bow-wow walkies for them very much :)

We had borrowed the new Church chairs for the 'do' and Paul's empty an helped get the lot over and back in in no time last night. They are still immaculate not a mark on them and very comfy too.

My grass is desperate for some water I agree. Not to worry all will be well grass always comes back doesn't it?

B is so busy making his jewellery and needs a model! Woo-wooo! Get him m0150

Hi Joan - thank you we had a lovely time at the do very festive. I think Meghan was after my jump suit!!

Oh Carol poor Mr T's sister! I do hope she heals quickly it's not good being in hospital at her age is it?

I hope your scald is ok and not too sore ((()))

How lovely having company for the Royal wedding!

I know I must stop giggling at choir practise

Hi Barbara yes it was a jump suit I was wearing which is fine until you need a wee

I also felt desperately sad for Meghan's mum being on her own :( So unfair, but I hope some of Meghan's friend's were there somewhere to support her.

The American Preacher was very evangelical - just didn't have an off switch  The choir were wonderful.

Kath I can't eat gingered chicken being a veggie, but I think I will eat some ginger....maybe a cup of ginger tea might help?

I had no food until evening - it took that long for the pain to ease a bit, but it came back the second I ate. Today I will have to 'fast' longer and will only have soup then :(

Of course the cellist must have been from Nottingham being so amazing!

NB Did you all notice the 'do' was at my London Place? Hmm? Frogmore House. I let them use it

Aidan, thank you for the Meghan Markles sparkles. :D Feel MUCH better now. I enjoyed the egg custards too, my favourite tarts.

Made appointment with DN for a fasting blood test. They will ring me the day before. It's to prepare for my Zolendronic infusion on 28th. The same day as my knee scan. Have to be at Gateway C at 10am, have scan and possibly drain them, then get to Gateway E for infusion at 11.30. :? Might have to RUN.

Sat in the sun for half an hour (good for my bones) while Chris cleared the back garden this morning.

Hope you all like Brandy Snap. :D

    Evening everyone

Hope you enjoyed the Royal wedding. I did and the catkins can’t stop meowing about their broom party above Windsor.

Did a swim gala yesterday. Wasn’t my best times but some days I’m happy just to be taking part.

Mr hubby is battling with his hernia. Seems to be worst after being on his feet. He is going to try the doctor again tomorrow. it was the consultant at A and E that said the wait is so long. Even considering finding out how much it would cost to do it privately. Just feeling a bit fed up with the NHS. I’m going to have to phone up again for my follow up appointment as nothing has come through. Been over a year since I’ve seen the Rheumy, only get to see the nurse now.

Enough moaning. Have a good evening everyone.

Hi to all, after a VERY warm day here, m0150 m0150 with lots of hours going missing again

Hi Joan, I hope you are enjoying all this lovely weather, it has certainly been a hot Monday.
Pills, well, I asked a few times what I can do without and the Consultant said "none". ok then, I will carry on..............

Hi to Sue and the doggies, I bet they are warm with their long coats, a bit like our two puskins.

So you did a face plant in your cake, you must have immaculised very well Toni, as there was not a speck, in the cafe.:D

I hope your tummy ache is easing t115006 I wonder why we all seem to have similar problems, tends to go in fits and starts........

Pepe was glad to hear Miss Sleek shouting him early doors, so her meow is certainly back to normal.
The dresses that the Duchess wore, were perfectly made and fitted.
Sleek was wearing her "Slimkin bandeau tiara", when she came over to gather the haze in the morning. It was sparkling in the early morning light. It is a very good likeness, Pepe was most impressed. t4591

A collage of all the pictures will be lovely in her ickle house, Pepe will be over at some point soon, to have a look, I am sure they go far and wide when we are not around, a lot further than they let us know :? I have an inkling that Sleek has been through the cupboards and marked Pepes food as "toxic"  he has gone very fussy over it. :?

Tourism with reference to the Royal Family and the Palaces, Castles, etc etc, bring in billions every year. The wedding was totally worth it, no matter how many million. A Royal wedding is something Great Britain can do with aplomb.

It was lovely, the neighbours over the way, surprising us with a roast dinner. We enjoyed it very much and Pepe approved of the chicken.

B has been walkies with the doggie again today. She is going in to the vets again tomorrow, for x ray and removal of cyst in her ear. She is a stately lady, of good age, so they are obviously quite concerned. They know the vets are so good though, she has been so often over the past few weeks with a cough etc. They think it could be lung worm, so they are treating for that, as it can be suddenly fatal

It was only right to try out the chairs for your "do". One has to know if they were comfy and of course they would not have a mark on them, you would make sure of that :)

Grass does tend to look after itself really, we only have a small patch at the front, the verge really. I will give it a little water today, along with the 20 thousand pots

We enjoyed our visit to the GC, everyone was sat outside, so we had the whole place to ourselves indoors, perfect. Some more compost bought, then a nip round Sainsb and home. The AC has been on all afternoon and into the evening, which has made a huge difference. They are a blessing.

Neighbour came round and modelled for B's jewellery, to check on fit, etc. She dawdled, so that she could hog the AC for a while :lol:

Of course, Frogmore House, most kind of you to let the Royals use it for their evening soiree.:D

Hi Kath, glad you liked the sparkles and the tarts too. They seem to be a firm favourite, Mum's always made them, as I recall.

So more bloods prior to your infusion on the 28th. It that Bank Holiday Monday?
CT scan on the same day, is this all at the City Hospital? You will have to run, or get a buggy to whizz you from one gate to another. Sounds more like East Midlands Airport

We will be with you, rest assured. Toni will have the cloak ready

Glad you enjoyed your sit in the sunshine, while Chris was busy clearing the garden. I am the total opposite, I try and avoid the sun at all costs.

Brandy snap baskets, lovely, thank you kindly. I did not have time to pop in during the afternoon. Nice and crunchy, mmm

Hi Kerrin, glad you enjoyed the Royal wedding, so, the puskins had a party, above Windsor did they. Don't tell Sleek and I won't tell Pepe.

Well done on the swim gala, you are right, taking part is the main thing.

Poor Mr K, hernia's need sorting, we don't want it causing pains. So the Consultant said there was a hefty waiting time, that's not good.
Can your GP not refer you out of the area, to see if there are shorter waiting times at other hospitals. That happens here, they have a kind of central booking centre and you get a choice of where you can go. I guess it is all based on population numbers, we are thinner on the ground up ere in the hills of Lancashire :?

I think the average cost for a hernia op, privately, is between £1500 and £2500 ish.

It is time you had a follow up as well, it seems ages. Seeing the Rheumy Nurse is more the norm now, as consultants become fewer, sad but true. Give them a shout out and ask them if they have forgotten you.

Hi Barbara Oh dear, your Dr is having a fit with Neuro, rightly so too, messing you about.

I thought of you with it being so warm, have you had the AC on in the bedroom? I am so glad we had ours on, it was so warm in the afternoon, not a breath of wind.

I heard it rain, big thunder spots, for about 20 seconds, that was it  a rumble of thunder too.

We do have some of those gel crystals, but always forget to put them into the compost   I don't mind pottering, using next doors hosepipe. All our water is from a bore hole, so there is plenty deep underground.

Charles did look after Meghan's Mum, I felt for her, a bit lost in the occasion and scale of it all.

The NHS is fit to bursting, you are right, so many more nurses and Drs are needed.............

Hi Carol, I hope your scald is better, keeping the area clean and cool. Also your SIL, sending sparkles to you both t115006 t115006

Hi to everyone else, Christine, Mig, Elizabeth, Toady, DD, and all.

All the lovelies are fine and the babies are doing super well. Hippos are loving their pool, swimming with Mum, the manatees are just so cuddly, they don't mind us sitting with our feet in the water.
Blush has her little family all tucked up in the bamboo forest. finally the meerkats think that spring is here m0150 m0150

I had better do some more pottering. I am chair shaped already.

I made a boo boo this morning. We strolled to the benches, Co-op and back. Didn't bother to put socks on - forgetting my left foot is swollen - and the strap rubbed it badly. Now I have a sore! A very sore sore. After the Co-op, we sat on the benches and had an ice cream lolly each. At 7.45am.

Barbara, I wonder if the Archbishop could fit Miss Sleek and Pepe in this weekend? Sleek has enough Tiaras, and Pepe would look very dapper in one of his kilts. t4591

Joan, thank you. We could eat in The Atrium (hospital cafe).

Watched a very interesting program called 2Royal Wives At War" about the Queen mum and Wallace Simpson. Illuminating.

It's been an emotional day Barbara the children at Lucy's school had a minute silence at 11 to remember those lost last year very, very sad ((()))

Of course it was no trouble to loan the royal couple Frogmore - as Joan said i's our country retreat

Hope you had a nice time at the café.

Fingers crossed GP gets neuro sorted!

Kath imagine having a lolly at 7.45am!! I hope your foot isn't too sore now? I swear by blister plasters and often use them in a preventative way.

Sleek has mentioned the idea of marrying Pepe you know, to Lucy, but she is very worried as Pepe loves his Daddies and she loves her Mum Dad and sisters :?

Maybe they will have a wedding and stay in their own homes afterwards!!

Thank you for the Japanese floral deserts so pretty :)

the cloak will be ready for you on Monday (this one coming?)

Joan I have the Cloak aired ready is it for your results to your scan tomorrow???

Yes Frogmore is our country retreat

    Aidan
I loved the posh breakfast I am rather partial to avocado with eggs..

I went down this afternoon and spent a lovely hour with the manatees so calming.

No sign of Blush's babies although I know supervet is checking all babies regularly.

I use gel crystals like you when I remember. Baskets went up today with the help of Tia's BF.

Very kind of you to add a drop of water to your grass. I think Bessie Bot may need to be switched off if the dry spell continues :?

    Kerrin
if your poor husband is in pain I would not blame you at all seeing how much the op would be privately! Go for it if you can afford it.

Well done for taking part in the swimming gala :D

Must get on now I am shattered and my neck is SORE!!

    love to everyone

    Evening all.

Been a beautiful day here today. nice and warm tonight we have a slight breeze. Decide to go to the nearest Asda store yesterday and got a real bargain 3 short sleeve tops for £14 altogether. Unfortunately my weigh in this morning gave me a gain but only half a pound so not worried about that as that is over a 2 week period. my friend has been to the hospital today to get the result of a scan on her arm and they don't think she will need an operation they think it will mend ok. she still has to be careful and still has her arm in a sling. but she is feeling a lot better. My scald is going along ok too. not sore now but still a red mark there. Mr T visited his sister yesterday he said she was ok but very tired. but that's to be expected as she has had an op to pin and plate it and has probably had lots of medication for the pain but she was pleased to see him.

Aidan No the scald didn't blister so all is well that's what becomes of being clumsy.:lol: when our niece rang to say her mum had done her hip I laughing said you need to wrap her in bubble wrap which she found funny and agreed. I think brittle bones is very likely.

Joan the meal was very worth it i will definitely be making it again. without the scald next time though.:lol:

Toni we only had the one lady and her little girl in but yes it did make our open morning more interesting. Mr T's sister seemed to ok but very tired and obviously in some pain. hopefully she will be ok though, and I think Mr T is a bit happier now he has seen her. The scald is ok that you it is not sore at all now but is still a red mark on my leg. Now no giggling and chattering at the next choir session please.:lol: .

Barbara My leg is fine thank you i don't think there will be any infections as it is fading already and is not sore it did not blister thankfully. but the meal was really nice and it is something i will cook again but i will try not to scald myself next time.:lol: Hopefully SIL will heal quickly. that year from the Manchester bombing has gone so quickly i was in a shopping centre near us today and the public were invited to observe a minuites silence along with the centre and shops staff for those lost in the bombing and their families.

It is now time to potter folks before i get stuck in this armchair.

    Love and Sparkles for all. t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 m0150 m0150 m0150 m0150 m0150 m0150 m0150 m0150

Hi to all, another day, vanished in a flash  :? never mind eh.

Hi Joan, I do keep the pharmacy companies in business, without a doubt   I have just put my repeat in, for my monthly "big order". Will pick that up on Friday, well, B will go in and get the two big carrier bags

Hope the weather is good for you and Sue and the doggies, it has been nice today, a breeze, pleasantly warm.

It was hot last night Barbara, thankfully the AC had cooled the home down quite well, so we brought the mesh screen in, just as it was going dark.
I do remember now, you borrowed an AC from a friend. It helped though.
Argos sell them, £280 I think, or thereabouts.

I think we have rain due on Friday, cooler for a couple of days, then heating up to 25 by Monday onward. m0150 m0150

B went to see one of the neighbours who had ordered a suite of jewellery, to take on a cruise, they go on Saturday. She is over the moon with is and has bought a dress to match. Now he has to make the same suite, for a friend of ours. He is super busy, with those beads.........

Oh poor doggy, neighbour rang in floods of tears, they had organised an x ray and there is a large mass / tumour, in their doggies chest wall. Causing her to be short of breath etc. Inoperable and just palliative care.:cry:
We were in the garden when she came home so I was there, with lots of hugs and shoulders to cry on. Bless. Hubby was tearful too, when they brought the doggie back home. She was barking and seemed quite settled, enjoying lots of treats. Has water pills and pain killers.
So it has been an emotional support day, as I said, hugs are free and help a little.

I well remember the Manchester suicide bomber at the concert. I know they had a big gathering and shared so many memories of that terrible evening. I send every one of them t115006 I am so glad your middle GD didn't go.

There are so many good people, the bad always tends to overtake the good that people do.

As for Pepe and Sleek getting married, all is quiet on that front at the moment. I think Sleek would want a similar wedding to the Duke and Duchess   :lol:

Oh Kath, what are we going to do. Matron needs to pop round and make sure that everything is in place, before you venture out :D Anti ouch hugs for your sore foot. Sudocrem will help.

Ice cream is perfect at ANY time of day, if you want one, early doors, then that's just fine.

I am sure the Archbishop would be the ideal person to marry Pepe and Sleek.

I am sure the programme about the Queen Mum and Wallace Simpson was very interesting indeed. I might have to search for that on catch up.

Thank you for the lovely floral deserts, very nice indeed.

That would be a perfect wedding I guess Toni, with our puskins married, but living with their Mums and Daddies. I will suggest that to his highness, who is staring at me, at the kitchen door..........be right back................

Right, where was I. Oh yes, weddings. Pepe said it sounds like a great idea and he will discuss with Miss Sleek tomorrow, when they are up on Pendle, gathering mist and haze. Will there be a proposal? Sleek must not laugh, I have trimmed his ruff, it gets in the way when he is eating. B said, who's done that do you   :? Just a trim I said. Pepe is not overly pleased.

We are cloak duties for Joan, scan results, yes, we will be there, I see the cloak has been immaculised :)

How charming to have Frogmore as your retreat, 33 acres of grounds too. Very private.

You are welcome to the breakfast. Manatee's are very calming, they give out lots of calming vibes, which we all need a plenty.

I thought the super vets were doing their rounds. They will soon find the baby red panda's, Blush likes to keep them private, because they are SO CUTE we would all want to have them :)

So your baskets went up, snap, so did ours, all one of them :lol: on the decking outside the back door. We have the mouse plants and the black eyed Susan on there too.

B has been pottering in the garden, moving the garden box, to the other side (front door side), watering everything, then we washed Bette, she was ready for a bath.

I did the bits I could reach and B did the areas that were a no go. Next doors hosepipe is very useful indeed :)

Our rivers are getting really low, so dry, you can walk across our river in the village, well, I couldn't, but an able person could easily hop across the stones, we need some rains.

Magic squares are on their way for your neck. t115006

Hi Carol It has been a lovely day, quite pleasant.

Bargain with the new tops, we love a bargain. No worries about a incy wincy gain, you can soon keep on a level and you are amazing how you have kept the weight off, hats off to you :)

So glad your friend does not need an operation, just to keep going as she is doing, taking care and resting her shoulder so that it can heal.

Good that your scald is getting better, burns are so horrid. Good that it didn't blister.

I remember one thing, so vividly, from my early childhood, in Dads first Parish. He had to go to the family who had lost their little one, he had fallen into the coal fire in their house.:cry:

I bet your SIL was pleased to see Mr T, having a steady recovery, it will take time and lots of physio.

Off to the T room today, Dad has to go in the surgery for bloods, so we will go sup coffee while he is in there.
Then the vets, then Tesco, then home.

I had better make a move. Pepe is having a mad dash round.........

Hi to Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Toady, Elizabeth, DD, Charrisse and all.

Love and Sparkles to all. t4591 t115006

Barbara, we watched the program about the Manchester bomb. Absolutely horrific! All those children, and their families, whose lives were changed forever.

Toni, my appointments are both on Thursday 28th June. Would love to have you there under the cloak. :D

Aidan, my blister is’t too bad. I think with Matron’s healing touch (wear gloves before touching my manky foot though) it will soon be better. I put Germolene and a pad on it last night. A bandage pad, not my iPad. That would do me no good at all/

Hope all appointments go well (Aidan and Barbara). t115006 t4591 t115006

Afternoon to all, another lovely day here, nice breeze and lots of sunshine without being oppressive. t4591 t4591

I see the "winter" emoticons have gone, thank you mods, in advance of our summer time arrivals :)

Just a quick note, before T and siesta, I am jaded today. After all the emotional support of yesterday. It takes it out of you, more than you think, so I am going to send myself some sparkles t115006 t115006

Hi Joan There was I, sitting with Toni, in the cloak of many rooms, until Hermione said, "you have the wrong day",:lol: still, we had a natter and some scones, with clotted cream................

We will make sure of the 21st June, I will write it down (and then forget where I put the note):lol:

I am banned from the oven, from pans, tipping out boiling water, sharp knives..........  I have thrown things straight onto the floor, from the oven, oh the mess............and the stress.

We all keep the pharmaceutical companies going, with just our troops in the cafe  :?

The pharmacy (in house one) at the Drs, will be beavering away, filling up bags for us to collect on Friday

Enjoy the weather, I think there are thunderstorms next week and much hotter :? :? m0150

Right, back in the cloak Toni, we are off to Barbara's appointment, if we ask Hermione to teleport us, we will make it in time............phew, that was close. All the luck in the world and lots of t4591 t115006 for it to go well. We will be watching :D:D

Hi Kath, it was terrible, the suicide bomber in Manchester Arena. I know these people are brain washed and usually drugged too, but, to do this and change the course of so many lives, in one split second, is just horrific. The same with any terrorist, or lone gunman attack, like the schools in America. Thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered and continue to suffer due to such acts of terror.

Right, the 21st of June for Joan and the 28th of June for your good self, of course we will be there, just keep reminding me :) mind like a sieve here.

Personally, I am no fan of germoline Kath, :? :? it can cause contact dermatitis and other reactions, due to certain ingredients. Sudocrem is less likely to cause a reaction, just keep a close eye on it. Matron will always pop over and advise :) We want the best treatments for all our friends. t4591

No, don't apply to any i pads or other tablets :lol:

Thank you for the ice cream and wafers, I love wafers, I could eat them quite happily with cream (clotted), ice cream, etc etc.

Sleek and Pepe were up with the Larks and gathered a lot of haze from Pendle and brought it back to the Nymphs in the ravine. They are a bit concerned that their little brook has all but dried to nothing :? :? so Pepe and Sleek did a magic rain dance.........looked rather like Scottish Dancing :lol::lol:
If the Heavens open, I will let you know.

Ohh, Toni, we have three flowers starting on the baby wisteria and one on the bigger one, after 8 years, it has a flower bud :D:D:D:D:D will take pics tomorrow. Happy bunny. I fed them extra well today and will tend them daily. I did water the rest of the pots and garden, which made me very ouchy, but, it was lovely to see flowers coming.

Dad had his bloods done, no trouble. He made his way to T room, we had already finished our first coffee, then it was scone and T cakes and more coffee :)

Vets, Tesco, Sainsb, then home. Enough for one day.

Spoke with our neighbours who's doggy is poorly. She was a bit better today and the doggy had been for a little walk with her and seemed reasonably ok, barking at people :) Bless. More hugs and more support given.

Right, I had better move. I will catch up again later. More pain relief needed.

Love to everyone, hugs and sparkles t4591 t115006 XX Aidan
