After reading on here and Facebook, I feel so forlorn and out of sorts. Dear Pepe. Dear Aidan and Bill. t4591 t115006
I've posted two of our favourite comfort foods, on the same dish - ice cream AND chips. I'm going to eat them together, but you can separate them if you wish.

Hello Barbara and Kath and Joan
Such a sad time isn't it? I haven't much cheery to say either :?
Just keep thinking about Aidan and B
Kath I have had chips then ice-cream separated! Comfort food helps a bit thanks

Afternoon to all, it has gone very dark here :? :? but it is still blinkin HOT. AC has been on since the get go today. Just started to rain, thunder spots.............
What a strange experience last night, Tosca was not anxious, but she was checking round and knowing that things were not quite right.
I did manage to sleep, I think Pepe and Cookie made sure of it.
Today has been a bit like being in treacle, everything seeming rather detached and surreal, if that makes sense.
We did go out and watered all the garden, had a little potter, but then got too hot so had to come in.
B went out again and cut the grass at the front, what is left of it, as it is parched now, like many lawns are.
I have been cleaning, as you rightly guessed Toni. If in doubt, immaculise. Now, if Dad would let me loose in his place, I would be in my element. That makes it sound to be a tip, it isn't at all, just not as immaculised as Matron would do.
Of course poor Miss Sleek will have to take a mini break, how strange that she slept on her own last night and we think that animals don't know what has happened, how wrong we can be.
Silver is very kind, he knows and sees across the bridge, even he does not know of all the wonders and secrets that are there, but he can see that all is well.
Bless, poor Lucy, extra hugs for all of you ((()))
Our lovely neighbour from next door, who is always buying B's jewellery, came round with her best friend, who we know well too.
She was bawling, I started, I knew I would as soon as I saw her. They stayed for quite a while, nattering and looking at all of B's new creations, squabbling over who wanted what now then ladies.
Lunch was nearly T time, but never mind. We are adults and can eat when we want after all.
The Drs kit was in the back of the wardrobe, Hermione is sending it over to Sleek, along with Pepe's broom, it will work for Sleek now, so she can choose. Tosca is up for a little jaunt, when Miss Sleek is ready. A gentle glide, for a stately lady of 88 years, in human age.
Thank you for all the hugs and love and sparkles t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006
Thank you too Joan and Sue, we did do the right thing, but your mind plays tricks on you and as humans we feel a pang of guilt, but, as you say, it was for him and his well being, that we made the right decision. t4591 t115006
I think Cookie was wanting him there Barbara, she knew more than we did and was jumping up and down, ready to chase hum, just like they used to.
I know, I keep having little "moments". He was a friend of the forum for sure.
We will keep busy, tomorrow we are back at the vets, to sort out and pay them, worth every single penny, so have such kind and loving staff.
Thank you for the love and hugs xx ((())) t4591 t115006
It is that kind of day Kath, where you are just kind of doing things, because you know you have to. We all support each other so well, it is tangible. Bless you. t4591 t115006
I have to choose my time to look at FB, or it sets me off good and proper.
Right, I will eat a mountain of chips with mayo, then I will shovel ice cream in like it is going out of fashion, thank you kindly, we need sugary things at such times and lots of comfort food.
I must potter some more, I am thinking of you all, sending you all our love and sparkles. I will write a little more later. Until then, take care and thank you again t4591 t4591 Aidan and BillXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Sleek has the Drs kit and the broomstick and has been sniffing them. She has put them in her ickle house so it's safe. The broomstick purred at her. She is going to speak to Tosca tonight on the crystal ball and will show her some of her and Pepe's haunts in a day or two.
She said Tosca is probably confused after Cookie going as well so recently.
I'm sure they both knocked you and B out so that you rested a little. Life will be like walking through treacle and surreal :? How could it be anything else when such a huge part of your lives is missing
It's really really hot here too though sunny still.
A/C is on and curtains shut over sunny windows.
Keep cleaning busy busy things can be cleaned more than once in emergencies such as this.
Dad's is clean enough I'm sure but you would find plenty to do.
Pepe was very much part of this forum Aidan an entertaining sweet funny part

Aiden busy is good ..and glad to hear your neighbours have been over and are keeping B busy...crying is such a good release, has I am sure you know..Cookie is definitely looking after Pepe , and enjoying showing him the ropes, and Silver keeps checking on them..you are very welcome to the hugs and love..here's some more to keep you both going...((())) xx

Ah, so the broomstick purred for Miss Sleek, makes a change from growling at me  The Drs kit is back to its normal state, so Sleek can use it for all medical assistance. They will be very safe in her ickle house and I am sure she has been sniffing.
Every time I read your posts Toni Barbara Kath Joan and all, I start having weepy moment I take a little break, clean the kitchen worktops, again, then come back...........
The crystal ball will translate Sleeks chirrups, into cat sign language, seeing as Mother Tosca is pretty much deaf as a post, bless her. They will discuss travelling on a broomstick and how Mother will be in a safety seat, just until she gets used to gliding around.
Tosca is chirruping quite a lot and taking looks around. Of course getting lots of fuss, chin rubs and tomorrow some clippering of lugs, that she seems to breed at a rate of knots.
It has been super hot here as well Toni, SO glad the AC has been on for most of the day. Then we had a big storm and over an hour of torrential rain, bouncing, running like a river down the roads. Everything had a very big watering, the grass will be very grateful, for some water, after its hair cut.
Oh yes, repeated cleaning is the order of the day, I am more than happy to immaculise the same thing over and over again, very therapeutic. My late Aunt always said, if you are upset, or stressed, scrub the floors. Well, I cannot do that any more, or I would need three strong men and a wheelbarrow to get me vertical
I would find so much to do at Dads, that is within Matron reach, reach, with the bleach
Pepe (poo pot) as he was known for many years, was indeed a very big part of our forum. He was a character for sure.
Thank you for the hugs, love and sparkles. t4591 t115006
I think we shared the same storms Barbara, lots of long rolling thunder and rain of Biblical proportions  I was saying to the neighbours across the way, we could have a storm today, five hours later, we did. As you say, the grass, plants and streams, will be super grateful.
It was nice to see our next door neighbour, she didn't want to come round on Saturday, she was so upset and knew we would be in bits.
Cookie will be introducing Pepe to all of our lovelies, Eric, my last two siamese, Jason and Shere Khan, there will be a big gathering.
I don't think we have ever bawled so much in 24 hours. It is a release - see, I am off again
Changing things quickly. I hope Carol and Mr T are having a good time in Whitby, I wonder if they had a storm, that would have been so atmospheric, with the Abbey as a backdrop
Kath, I know you were having your hair cut in the ice cream parlour under the gazebo I think that's right :? :? whist eating chips and strawberry ice cream.
I am going to have an extra couple of squares of chocolate tonight, out of the fridge, (cadbury's), the only one.
Dad came round for his coffee and croissant. We were in the garden, watering.........he whispered to me, "would you like me to buy you another cat, like pepe" BLESS HIM. No, we said no, a lovely kind thought Dad, but we would not want to go through this, years down the line. He understood our reasoning.
So, we are off to the Vets, to sort out. Then we need fuel, then we definitely need to go to the T room and drink lots of coffee and eat cakes. Shop, pay gas and electric on the park..........that will be the morning gone.
I had better move. I am setting rather quickly. A big Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Mig, Elizabeth, Toady, DD, Christine and all.
Sending Love and Light to everyone XXXX Aidan and Bill
Now, we must have breakfast
Baked Cheddar, Eggs and Crispy Potatoes
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Yes Aidan the Broomstick is purring for Sleek. She thinks it sounds like her beloved so is finding it comforting. Not so comforting for us on the end of our bed last night!!!
Your Aunt was one wise woman! Scrubbing (and gardening) is very therapeutic when it comes to needing to think and keep busy.
Very sweet of Dad to offer to buy you a Poo-pot kitten so kind, but now is absolutely not the time. I refused to have another after Eric Catona my heart was broken, but I did say if 'someone' happened along I would take him/her in. Of course a little furr-ball did who is our Daisycat AKA Miss Slimkins AKA Sleek did just that and here I am today with my life enriched for having her in it
The crystal ball must have helped a lot because she had a good and comforting chat with Tosca last night. She was muttering that she wasn't 'getting a minute' all this fuss over her!!!
Sleek will happen over maybe tomorrow evening to see her and show her the special 'comfort and safety' chair for the broomstick.
I meant to ask whether you or Barbara were able to feel the earthquake? Did the storm cool you down at all?
Thank you for the breakfast lovely!

Morning to you Barbara was the storm at ALL refreshing? I have turned Bessie-Bott off until it rains the grass isn't growing ATM.
Did you feel the earthquake?
Tosca had a chat to Sleek last night and is prepared to 'look at' the seat. She is after all a lady of mature years.
Love to Joan and Sue too and hugs to doggies

Baked Cheddar, Eggs and Crispy Potatoes - yummy, thank you Aidan. Had that for lunch, and for T there's runny fried egg sandwich. Definitely comfort food needed right now. t4591
District nurse rang this morning, she's coming to take my fasting blood test on Wednesday. Early-ish I hope. Would Matron mind explaining what "CTx, Vitamin D, U&E, Bone profile, GFR" means. Well I know some of it, this is part of my fasting test in preparation for my Zolendronate infusion on 28th June, after the scan on my knobbly knee - not related though. Thank you.
Joan, my foot and ankle don't actually hurt, they get itchy and also have a burning sensation in my heel! Very strange. :?
Aidan, bawling is the best way to deal with any sad event. But I know that among the tears, there will be much love and laughter when you remember Pepe's antics. m0150 t4591 t115006

A purring broomstick is just the thing Toni. Sleek will be so pleased she has her beloveds flying and Drs equipment in her ickle house
So Miss Sleek was on the bed last night, she must have been nattering to Tosca, as she was rather vocal at silly o clock this morning  Mother is quite happy to spend her time dozing, eating, then dozing and then shrieking  All the fuss is stopping her from getting her beauty sleep
I am going to disturb her again shortly, with the clippers.........  smiling crocodile time.
My late Aunt was very wise, she was lovely, a headmistress at a junior school all her working life, she was SO motherly. She had alzheimers in her later years bless her.
It was sweet of Dad to make us an offer to buy another ragdoll puskin, but no, we could not. Never say never, but neither of us could go through the last 4 months again, with Cookie and now Pepe. Miss Sleek came into your lives, which was meant to be and as you say, has enriched your lives and ours too t4591
This poem came to mind, when we were sorting out fleeces etc, from the armchairs
Beyond The Empty Chair
Look beyond the empty chair
To know a life well spent
Look beyond the solitude
To days of true content
Cherish in your broken heart
Each moment gladly shared
And feel the touch of memory
Beyond the empty chair
I just remembered there was a poem, about an empty chair.
Tosca said that there is a big chair coming over for her tomorrow morning  she had a "not quite sure" look, but I said Sleek was an excellent driver of the broom.
No, I read about the earthquake, but the earth did not move for us   it did cool a little after the deluge of rain and rumblings of thunder. It is a bit better today, less humid, still have the AC on though, I am not getting into a lather.
Thank you for the t4591 t4591 and t115006 t115006 glad you enjoyed the breakfast
Hi Joan, I can understand how some choose to get another pet, as soon as one has passed away. Different ways, help people to cope with the loss.
Thank you for the hugs, you are so kind, both of you. Love to the doggies too. t4591 t4591
So the earth didn't move for you either then Barbara
Everywhere dried up so quickly, with it being so warm, despite the torrential rains. We had only watered the garden in the late morning as well  It was very welcome. I think after today, it cools down for a week or so, to more pleasant temperatures. Hoorah.
As long as they are keeping a close watch for glaucoma, which is controlled with drops if required. Sadly the MD cannot be cured, but as you say, your vision is not so bad at the moment.
We have some fur, a teeny tiny bit, from Cookie and some from Pepe, we asked the vet to let us take a little, they are both in a tiny pixie pill box, too cute XX
We managed to hold it together at the vets, we met the vet outside, who was so kind with us and Pepe on Saturday, she gave us both a big hug and said she had just been thinking of us, she is just born to be a vet, a bit like nurses, you have either got it, or your haven't. She has it in spades.
The other ladies were on reception and one said, oh, I don't think we have any full boxes of food for Pepe...............bless, she hadn't realised. She was so upset, oh she said, we have seen him so often and all his antics with the food sachets.
We settled the bills, and made sure all the details for the cremation, etc were done.
Then it was the T rooms, for coffee's and scone, with cream, jam and butter, of course. B pinches most of my cream, to have on his T cake
Sainsb, then pay gas and electric, then home, several hundred £ later.
Thank you for the hugs and love, they are all adding up and helping a lot. t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006
Ooops, moderation on the pomegranate and jacket spuds. Don't worry, a little is ok.
Glad you enjoyed the breakfast Kath, it was so yummy
Matron will glady go through the blood tests for you, if you don't mind I will answer later, as I am running out of time at the moment.
You don't have plantar fasciitis do you? Just a thought, that can be painful on your heels
Oh we have had some times, with Pepe, over the years, he used to run off with the baguettes (whole ones) if we didn't put them out of the way, when we lived in France.
Fried egg butty, just delightful, don't mind if we do, thank you kindly.
Should we have cake as well - yes, why not.
I will away, love and hugs and sparkles to everyone, will catch up again later. XXX Aidan

I had a doughnut thanks Aidan vey nice!! I am the one who steals the cream as you know for my scones
The poem is lovely and so apt glad you remembered it.
Teared up today saw an advert for 'Yes to the Dress' Lucy said she will watch it with Sleek who is still hugging Pepe's broomstick. She's put the seat for Tosca on ready and is planning to be a super-safe driver for her. No antics trying to get her to faint like she used to with Pepe.
They are going to chat again tonight then Sleek is picking her up tomorrow afternoon (your nap-time) for the gentlest trip out. If you feel the gentlest touch on your faces it will be her. She has got some more magic squares Silver infused them with healing for you.
Silver got in touch with her today as did Hermione both offering comfort and reassurance. t115006
Yes never say never when it comes to another pusskin. Life will throw whatever it does at you. As you said Sleek has totally enriched our lives here she is adored as was her beloved and your beloved Pepe Longstockings. t4591
I'm glad you have done the vet's that's a biggie done

Evening all
Just a little update the journey went smoothly. Arrived at our accomodation to find we could not get in the doors have number codes to open them they had sent Mr T a email with the codes but because he does not have the internet on his phone he did not get them. Anyway managed to get in . After being told by someone else staying there that the office was just around the corner. We find we have a 1 ring induction hob thing a toaster and a microwave very 1saucepan and a small frying pan. So we can no way cook a main meal we have to have it out during the day . And just do snack things for tea yesterday was a horrendous day we have been out to shops in the morning on the way back Mr T gets a phone call on his mobile, when he he answers it he has a voice mail message. Say his freedom pass wallet and senior rail card had been found and could he call the number that had been left in the message. We tried that and couldn't . Get through Anyway cutting a long story short after a wasted afternoon and a miserable evening with a very moody Mr T. And me not feeling great because I have a few mouth ulcers. We go to bed early. Long story short again with various bit of detective work on the part of us both both pass and owner were reunited at around 11.30am this morning. And after using some stuff for mouth ulcers my mouth is a lot better. So hopefully we can now enjoy the rest of our holiday. We are both happier now than we were this morning. Will update you more at another time as my battery on my tablet will soon run out so must post before it runs out .
Love to all.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all, it went very black again this evening, thought we were in for another storm, but it passed by.
Donuts, very important part of our comfort food experience. So you pinch the cream for your scone and Bill pinches mine for his croissants or T Cake. Cream thieving, it is a notifiable offence
I don't know why that poem came to mind, I just thought "the empty chair" I am sure that is a poem.
I have not written to David on Twitter this week, we watched Say yes TT Dress and curvy Brides, it will seem very odd, in fact everything seems slightly off kilter to be honest. Almost like jet lag, somewhat detached from things going on around you. But we will be ok. We each know what each other is going through and feeling. We have had so many years of loss, it kind of chips away at you.
Stop now Aidan. Tosca was chirruping and then shrieking, about her trip today, with Miss Sleek. She has seen the comfy safety chair over the crystal ball and has been checking out the broomstick very carefully. Sleek showed her inside her ickle house, with all the pictures of Pepe and her Tiara's etc. Tosca was enigmatic while looking around, taking it ALL in. I think she has her eyes on a Tiara............
No, Sleek would not do loop the loops with Mother Tosca. She is not one for fainting like her Son was, more to have a hissing Sid episode
I have trodden on quite a few magic squares, they do fizz and pop when you stand on them, like mini fireworks. The infusion is most welcome. I will await a gentle touch from her.
Hermione was most upset, as was Silver, but knowing how happy our loved ones are, is comforting.
It was not easy walking into the Vets, I can tell you, but, you bite your lips and take that step forward. We all do it, every day.
Yep, Pepe would bite into the end of a baguette and you would see the whole thing leaving the room oh and he loved the fresh quiche from the patisserie up the road from our first house.
Mother is not in the frame of mind for a little de lugging.......... like "try it and I will BITE YA" always tomorrow.
My Aunt was on my Dads side.
Thank you for the strength and hugs and love and sparkles, they are welcomed t4591 t115006
Hi Carol, a smooth journey, that's good, then not being able to get into the apartment, oh dear..............finally in and then finding out the kitchen facilities are not quite up to doing a Sunday roast, to say the least.
One ring, one pan, eeek. Then Mr T having to go hunt his rail card and freedom pass and you had ulcers in your mouth. This was not a good start to the week  :? :?
Things improved with a less sore mouth and re-united pass and card. Now, enjoy the rest of your holidays, bolt everything down, that could possibly go missing and off to the chip shop, quick as a flash. 8) 8) t115006
Now, Matron had to explain some tests for Kath, let me go remind myself which ones they were. I remember the U and E's, Urea and Electrolytes, to check on renal functions, sodium, potassium, urea levels, all show how well the kidneys are working.
CTx, I think that one is to measure for osteoporosis as far as I recall.
Vit D, if you have a problem with bone conditions, ie RA or osteoporosis etc, then that will affect the levels of Vtamin D and supplements can be given to bring the levels up to normal values.
Bone profile includes, ferritin levels, calcium, rheumatology profile
lastly the GFR is to measure your kidneys levels of functioning and how they are affected by any renal problems.
I think that's the basics of them Kath, I hope that helps
All the lovelies are doing just fine, the newbies are all settled in and Kath is happily away riding her Buffalo  steer clear of the Moose though, promise.
Right, I had better do some pottering. I was going to iron earlier, but lost the will, besides it was too warm. I need to do some dusting, with fans going, everywhere has a nice film of dust, which is not a good look.
Off to Skipton today, Dad lost his reading glasses, so it is back to Specsavers, for a replacement pair. A visit to Nero's will be in order and there will be cake, I can tell.
I need to stock up on my cleaning things and face creams (one has to try and remain wrinkle free, it doesn't work as well as it states on the products, believe me, I have tried them all)  But, we don't look too bad, for pushing towards 60.
Lots of love to everyone, in out and around about. Everyone take lots of care t4591 t115006 t4591 XXX Aidan

The Empty Chair by Robert Longley
Amidst the anger, pain and hate
In a lonely corridor I wait
To say hello or say goodbye
To friends I see now passing by
It’s not the same I’m just a blur
They only speak of me as her
I walk these halls both day and night
Though just a shadow out of sight
Time will pass and memories fade
You’ll soon be gone, but here I stayed
A memory of gentler times
Of lullabies and nursery rhymes
When graduation comes to pass
And before you say goodbye to class
Don’t forget I’m always there
So save for me an empty chair"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

How wonderful, Cream Donuts. Thank you Aidan, and thank you for the information I asked for. Just the ticket.
Walked (hobbled) to the benches this morning. I think there must have been a lot of dampness in the air, as we both had bad ouchies. But it didn't put us off our Magnums.
I'm imagining Pepe dragging a baguette around the house. It reminds me when Anita took my laundry home from hospital, and washed it for me. Marley (her Shih Tzu) snatched my socks off the basket and started to toss them around the house, growling and yelping as he went.
Carol, it sounds as though you had a slight problem, but soon overcame it. I hope the rest of your holiday goes more smoothly.
Toni, I hope the DN is early too.

I can just imagine Pepe with the baguette..bless not sharing it.. the lady vet sounds so nice..and giving you both an hug..it does make a difference when they care like that..now for food think I spotted eclairs and fried egg sandwich that will do nicely thanks to Aiden and Kath
Its the funeral of our neighbour across the rd this Friday..I went to see his wife she has lost so much weight ..so I took her new potatoes in butter that we cooked I know she likes them...

Afternoon to all, a slightly cooler and more cloudy day, warm, but not to the point of having "moments"
Hi Joan, don't we just wear out, we are amazing, but we do have design flaws, joints, spines, etc etc, that need MOT's and replacement parts.
Yes, we do love our pets, dearly we do. Mother Tosca is having lots of fuss and attention. I am sure you doggies are much loved and fussed over with lots of cuddles xx Thank you for the hugs, love to both and the woof woofs
Thank you for the lovely poem Kath, the Empty Chair. I think there is a song about the empty chair too.
You are welcome to the blood test info, I hope I got it right, I am a long time retired, but I do keep my ears to the ground as to what is going on in the NHS. t4591 I hope the DN comes early, for your fasting bloods tomorrow.
Anti ouch hugs to you both ((())) I was almost at a stop when we got to Tesco, our last stop before leaving Skipton. It was only a determined push, that got me the short way round, usually down the middle of the aisles. I could not even be bothered to get the key for the buggy, get in it, hand in my crutches..............let's just get the bits we need and get out.
A magnum would keep me going too, despite the damp weather giving trouble. Chocolate is very therapeutic, it's the law.
One of my two siamese boys, from years ago, used to empty the sock drawer if you left it ajar, they would be everywhere, in the food dishes, the water dishes, up and downstairs......he was a terror. Siamese like to suck wool He used to throw them around too.
Thank you for the cake, I think a bundt is like a savarin ring cake, are they Danish, they might be. Anyway, I am going to face plant and see how wonderful it tastes.
Dad enjoyed his trip to Skipton, picked up his new replacement glasses, we paid for them, for Fathers Day. Nero's was nice and quiet, the staff were hugging us, as they knew about Pepe and Cookie, from FB. B was getting upset, writing to his SIL when she asked what was wrong with Pepe. He said you can read it too, I said no, I will be bawling too, now, deep breaths...........more coffee please !!
Lots of coffee, we didn't fancy toasties, so B had two croissants with butter and clotted cream, I had a scone, with all the trimmings and then a danish swirl. It is national cake day, well, it is in this house Had a nice sit down and chatted to the staff. They look after us very well. Told us we must go over to see them more often. We were always in there, when Mum n Dad were with us, but, the draw to go to Skipton has faded, since they passed away.
We will make the effort and go over every couple of weeks.
Home now and some fussing done, de-dustification, washing in an dryer going..........Always best to keep pottering when thinking and always have perfect cloths to hand to ensure totally clean results
Now, should I have a go at some of Mothers lugs...... ...........before her spin on the broom later. Sleek will be here at siesta time, to take Tosca out on a trial broomstick ride.
I will go see what humour she is in............content, or smiling crocodile
Best move, I need my pills, asap. Hi to Toni, Barbara, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, DD, Toady, Elizabeth, Carol and all...............
I will be back later. Love and sparkles, XXX Aidan t4591 t115006XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening everyone I have been over to my sister’s house to be today with my bro all is going really well (it’s empty ) so she should be in VERY soon!
I loved the cornflake casserole Aidan it was really nice!
Sleek picked Tosca up (she’s calling her ‘Mother’ and she doesn’t seem to mind) at siesta time and took her for the gentlest of spins out just over your ‘estate’. Hermione made it extra steady so I think the only thing she felt was the breeze in her fur. She will take her further once she’s used to it. She told Sleek something about getting hassled all the time now - she likes lugs in her fur or something like that??
Lucy watched some yes to the dress recorded with Miss Slimkins too which she enjoyed, but she had Pepe’s Drs kit on her lap all the time. t4591
Charley’s cat likes paired socks too. They are so funny aren’t they cats. How many wonderful times and memories have they given us? Take a look at the story of Art the *art and the chicken I posted to Kath below….
How lovely are the Nero’s staff? Heart breaking but so kind and caring. You really MUST go over a little more often. Glad Dad has his new specs treated by you and B.
Still very much thinking of you and B hope he is busy beading and you cleaning. (((()))) t4591 t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 t115006
Hi Barbara. Sleek took Tosca a ride in a special seat so she didn’t need to hold on and Hermione made sure she didn’t fall or slip at all
I think she will go again. Sleek is speaking to her every night now as well as the other cats so she’s coping ok.
As far as the diet goes you can only do your best can’t you?
Your poor neighbour – will you attend the funeral? I hope she eats the spuds :?
Kath I loved the bundt it was lovely - no idea what it was but I’ll have it again!
Our old cat Art (the *art) once stole an enormous cooked chicken piece and flew out of the cat flap with it in his mouth and the cat-flap went with him!!
I think magnums are what a person with ouchies requires. Apart from magic squares of course.
The empty chair poem is lovely thanks for posting it.
Hi Joan hope you are ok I agree animals give us unconditional love and calm the blood pressure too.
Love to everyone!
Hello to Carol if she pops by and Kerrin too xxxx
The sky is an amazing colour tonight very very orangy pink m01500 -
Hi to all - a much more pleasant temperature here. Weather warning in place from tonight, into Thursday, very strong winds and lots of rain.
ooooh, oooh, can I come and help immaculise your Sis's new home, pretty please Toni......... So glad it it going through ok and is empty and ready to run t115006 t115006 I will ask Silver to shower some magical sparkles, so, expect glitter.
I wasn't too sure about the cornflake / hash brown bake, but, it was very nice indeed, made a pleasant change
Mother, (as we always address her), seemed to enjoy her little outing, over the woods, down over the river (what's left of it), into town and up to the castle. Not flying too high. She felt very safe in her special chair and harness.
I guessed there might be a conversation about being fussed over and she has seen the clippers on the side :? :? for those lugs.
Glad Lucy and Sleek enjoyed SYTTDress, bless, keeping Pepe's Drs bag with her.
Cats must have an affinity with socks - not quite sure why. Oh my, Art the -art running off with the chicken and taking the cat flap with him
We will go over to Skipton a bit more, it was very nice to see the staff, who were so sorry to hear about Pepe. They are all on FB, so they saw my post.
Dad is very happy with his specs, which is good. He had no idea that Fathers Day was coming up.
Thank you for the continued thoughts love and sparkles. I have been immaculising away, for quite a while, until my back said ENOUGH already
Barbara, I nearly missed you there, we posted at the same time, as we so often do.............
No, the earth didn't tremble here either :? A renal diet, oh - it is always the things that we like, that are on the wrong list
I like pomegranate juice, not that we have it very often. I used to eat the juicy pips with a pin when I was young.
I could hug the vet until the pips squeak, she is so lovely, very tiny, but knows her job well and knows how to look after owners, as well as animals. As you say, it makes a huge difference.
Yes, there are eclairs, egg butties, bundt cake, the whole shebang. None of them are on the "not to eat" list.
The poor lady who lost her Husband, kind of you to take her something that she likes to eat. Will you go to the funeral?
Must potter a minute, will be back
Did you watch Jane McDonald Barbara, she went to a lovely animal rescue sanctuary in New Zealand, we need Wombats, they are adorable and very friendly.
B is busy away making new creations, it keeps his mind occupied and he finds it very therapeutic. I would be the opposite, all the beads would be out of the window
The super vets are doing their rounds, checking all the animals. Even the giant spid--s have a health check
Time for me to move, I am semi chair shaped, despite frequent potterings. An at home day for today.
Hope your holiday is going more smoothly Carol.
Hi to Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Toady DD, Elizabeth and all.
Everyone take lots of care, love and sparkles t4591 t115006
Lemon Poppyseed Crepes, with fresh Lemon Curd
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning Aidan l am loving the crepes Mmmm….mmmmmmmm!
How many lovely people are there in our lives when you think about it? People in Neros caring about Pepe as well as of course lovely vetenaries
Yes Tosca enjoyed her gentle ride Sleek was so careful with 'Mother' why ever she's never ventured out before I don't know :? The plan is to build her up gently as Sleek thinks she and Mrs Darcey (another elderly lady) will get on very well when she is down here which should be soon.
Curtains have been measured for now by myself and thanks to Silver I think all is going through without a hitch so far. I will most DEFINITELY appreciate help with cleaning it is a bit smelly
Sleek is coping well with her loss with the aid of the Drs kit and Pepe's broomstick which purrs just like he did. Lucy is more than happy to watch SYTTD with her anytime!
I am glad to hear B is distracting himself with his beads and hope you are recovered enough to continue your cleaning/immaculising today.
We used to eat out pomegranate seeds with pins to not allowed now I suspect - H&S
Ongoing t4591 t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 t115006 and ((())) to you both XXX
