Crispy baked oatmeal, mmm, thank you Aidan. I've saved some for my snack later. :D Right now I'm having some of your sponge and clotted cream.

This is perhaps best saved for summer, unless you have a particularly mild day.

    Tuna Panzanella with rocket
    INGREDIENTS
150g Ciabatta bread, chopped into bite size pieces
    250g Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1 Shallot, halved peeled and finely sliced
1 Yellow Pepper, halved, de-seeded and sliced into thin strips
    1/2 a Cucumber, thinly sliced
    160g tin of Tuna, drained
    60g Rocket
    35g freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
1 small handful Fresh Basil Leaves, roughly chopped
4 tbs Olive Oil and a little extra for drizzling
    1/2 a Lemon
    Salt and pepper

    METHOD

Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees.

Take your chopped ciabatta and spread in a single layer on a baking tray. Sprinkle evenly with grated parmesan cheese, a grind of black pepper and a drizzle of oil. Place on the top shelf of your oven for 10 mins or until the cheese is melted and the bread pieces are golden.

Meanwhile, take a large bowl and add your halved cherry tomatoes, sliced shallot, yellow pepper strips, and sliced cucumber. Add half of the olive oil season with salt and pepper and mix through.

Flake the tuna over the top of your vegetables followed by the rocket and the remaining olive oil.

When your bread is ready, remove from the oven and mix through your salad. Finish with a squeeze of lemon and scattering of basil.

    Enjoy!

We were at the benches today, in spite of really bad ouchies. choc ices at the ready. But it was quite mild with no wind or rain. Unlike tomorrow, so we will stay home. t111055 t110007

Joan, that macaroni cheese with tomatoes sounds really yummy. I might be able to persuade Chris to give it a try.

    Evening everyone

Late on today I am exhausted! In a good way I got Charley to the Drs the only way to get her an apt was to drive (for 8am!) there and wait until it opened, which is about ½ an hour away. She has been prescribed a Ventolin inhaler and an apt to follow for spirometry. Her peak flow – 300 at 23! Improves to 500 after 2 puffs of the Ventolin which she was prescribed (and forgot about) after a recent chest infection. Her third this year. Something is definitely wrong :( .

Then I helped her with her decorating!! I love love love glossing!! My wrists didn’t but I did so will be back to do a little more tomorrow  :?

I hope everyone is well and sorry I am too tired to post properly am going to have a super-early night after my super-early start :?

Joan I tried out your Gran’s tip on our mac ‘n’ cheese this evening and it was pronounced a success  :D

Kath thanks for the recipe – without tuna it could be veggie too!

Well done going for your walk – wise to go today if tomorrow is going to be yuk.

Barbara your niece must be very proud of her boy. :) Excellent trade.

Less telly means people made more of what is available outside less inside. Much better for us. :D

I do feel better today but still going to bed now.

Hope all is well with our Aidan today ((()))

Yes Tommy is going to be introduced to Hogwarts this winter, but they are not to let him out of their sights you can imagine the mischief he will be planning! Sleek and Mother and Mrs D are pleased, but doing a rota to keep an eye on him. They also want to have some fun themselves.

Sleek has a list of spells she wants to learn (some a bit unlikely bless), Mother and Mrs D looking forward to the social aspect and Tommy well who knows!! :?

Sleek is loving the light the new wand affords them it does indeed sound very powerful

Gigantic earth quaking Daddy sneezes say no more!! Still have moles though!!

I promise to be being very careful with my lungs, but think I am on the mend now thanks. Sleek still plans obs tonight.

    Hope all is well

    Love to everyone

Thanks Joan yes. You have to be assertive sometimes with Charley working nights she's not usually awake to sit on the phone every morning form 8am trying to get an appointment.

Morning to everyone else :) Going to do a little more painting at Charley's if she wants my help also help Lucy with her coursework. Just make sure she's understanding it and is on the right track.

Joan, actually it wasn't windy at all on the benches yesterday. But it would have been if we'd gone today, and very wet. t110007 t111055

Toni, absolutely. Today is a stinker. Glad you got Charley to the doctors. I got the recipe yesterday from the Osteoporosis Society website. Today I'm looking at the Heart Foundation, and I've chosen a vegetarian Breakfast.

    Eggs florentine on muffins
    Category: Breakfast | Serves: 2

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cooking time: 15 minutes

    INGREDIENTS
    2 tablespoons reduced-calorie mayonnaise (choose a dairy-free version if catering for a dairy-free diet)

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, or to taste

1-2 tsp chopped fresh parsley or chives

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    100g (3 1/2oz) baby spinach leaves, rinsed

    4 eggs

2 English muffins (white or wholemeal)

Combine mayonnaise, mustard, herbs and black pepper in a small dish.
Put rinsed spinach in a saucepan; cover and cook for about 3 minutes or until tender. Drain well, squeeze out water; keep warm.
Meanwhile, cook eggs to your liking in an egg poacher (according to instructions).
Split muffins in half; toast. Top each muffin half with some spinach and an egg; season with black pepper. Spoon flavoured mayonnaise alongside; serve immediately.
    Variations
4 uncut crumpets (2 per serving) can be substituted for the muffins.
Try using a quarter-teaspoon of grated lemon zest instead of mustard.
    eggs florentine on china plate

Aidan, Chris also does earthquake sneezes. Even our next door neighbour complains, which is a bit of a cheek really. She sets her washig mahine running at 3am every morning. You can't help sneezing, you CAN alter the time of day you wash. d015.gif

Right, let me try again. I am not going to try and catch up with everything from yesterday - or I might be here till Doomsday  :lol:

Joan and Sue I remember you were asking about our time here in the park home, we have been here for just under 10 years and it is the best move we have made, until we win the lottery that is :lol:

Toni was at the Drs with Charley, who's peak flow was down a TAD !! but better with the ventolin. Hope they sort out the spirometry tests asap and get things sorted.

I did leave lots of magic squares to wrap round your paintbrush, to help with any ouchies, after the gloss painting.

Pus cats are over the moon about their door to Hogwarts, it is a great honour and had to be granted by the "elders" of the ministry of magic  Mother has given Tommy some of her "looks" and he is behaving himself, so far.................

Kath, I know you had bad ouches yesterday and I sent lots of ((())) to help, along with some magic squares too t115006 t115006
The Tuna was lovely and I can see that the eggs florentine are perfect, thank you, seeing as my breakfast, vanished into the ether.

It was super windy yesterday t110007 and has been raining on and off for most of today t111055 , a proper grey day. Typical November day.

So we need to gather Chris Bill and Paul, all together, for one ALMIGHTY SNEEZE that could easily register on the richter scale as a serious earth tremor   :lol:
Running the washer, at 3am, no, not when you have immediate neighbours, that is not cricket. Sneezes are not really stoppable.

Hope you ouches are less today t4591 t115006

Hi Barbara, don't worry, I was here, honest, twice. Everything went west which was my error, then the post last night, has vanished.
I was pleased to hear about your Godson taking up the building trade, always a great skill to have. Also enjoyed the time with your Niece, but the food was not good when you were out. Huh, that's not on. We have standards, after all :D:D:D The Harvester, have heard of them, but not been

Hope Niamh is improving, Gdad picking her up from school, bless. I hope there is cake in the tin - imagine, if we ran out

I will away and put some more on the side in the kitchen, for us all.

I will write more later, must potter a while now. Love to everyone and sparkles too t4591 t115006

    Evening you lovely peeples
Where do I start Sunday was a great day daughter and I left home around 10.15am to travel into central London for dinner and then on to her award ceremony. we had problems getting there and what should have taken just under an hour at the most. took one and a half hours due to transport problem and diversions, so it was a very quick lunch so that we had at least something to eat before the onward short bus ride to the venue. I was a very Proud mummy when we actually found out what the award was for it was a rather large a heavy shield for leadership that she keeps for a year, and she also has smaller glass trophy that she keeps. unfortunately I am unable to show any photos, due to St John protocol.  Flu jabs were duly had yesterday evening and I also had the shingles one so I was doubly stabbek’d with a needle one in each arm.

Aidan The wearing of the teeth is getting better the ulcers are not so painful now I have had the dentures in each day up until yesterday when I was brushing my own teeth and I stupidly managed to brush over my gum where the tooth was taken out and there is a little ulcer on the gum quite near it ouch ouch ouch so could not wear them yesterday but they went back in today and have been ok. still having a little problem eating but its getting easier.

Joan the mouth is getting better hope your heating is behaving itself when does Sue get her dentures.?

Toni hope your cold is improving and Lucy doesn't get one re knitted scarf is now finished so I have started on the other and knitting is always with me at the moment when I'm out so if i go into coffee shop for a coffee I sit there knitting at the same time. I enjoyed the award ceremony very much and was very Proud of Becky the citation read before she was given The award was brilliant. flu jabs had by us both I also had the shingles one too.
Mr T had his shingles one last year.

Kath I have some mouth ulcer gel which seems to be working at the moment hopefully it keeps working

Barbara Yes I was one proud mum at the award ceremony. the teeth are not too bad the top one are ok its the bottom ones seem a bit loose think I might have to contact the dentist. how long did it take you for yours to feel better.

    Time for a potter again

lots of love and sparkles for you all t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

    Hi there everyone :)

Kath I love the eggs Florentine recipe!! My Paul loves eggs benedict I think so I'm sure these will go down a treat :)

Wasn't it a dreadful day? Today looks better if chillier methinks.

nip down here if you're running out of laves we still have plenty for the next week or so t120005 t120006

Do you think your neighbour still thinks she's using 'economy7' by washing at 3am?

Hi Barbara how sweet is Niamh loving seeing her beloved Grandad at the school gate :) t4591

Your niece deserves to be extra proud as she had her son so young. She's done a great job :D

Charley certainly had a better night sleep after using her inhaler on Tuesday night hope it's the same today. Today we are ALL going to help her! Lucy me and Auntie Kari!!

Oh dear Aidan I wonder what happened to your post :? I hope Sharon can solve the mystery :? :?

I loved my plum pudding and added a generous dollop (or 3) of rhoddas to it thank you. The vat load is in the fridge.

I don't think we really ought to tickle those 3's hooters at the same time  what if we caused a tsunami???!!!

Tommy does adore Mother; Mrs D despairs of him, but for some reason one of mother's looks is all that's needed :? . Sleek reckons they should only take him to Hogwarts if Tosca is with them.

I need some more magic squares for my paintbrush and Auntie Kari's too. Charley acidentallly popped the brushes into the white spirit jar...there was a fizz then a phfut! g070.gif

I was horrified how low Charley's peak flow was! According to her GF she wheezes in her sleep too so yes spirometry ASAP I hope.

Sweet chilli mushrooms poached egg?!! Lovely posh breakie thanks Aidan :)

Hope your hair cut goes ok and if you are returning the compliment you manage without shaky hands!!

Sleek LOVES Mother's cloak! She had seen photos of Mother in it, but said it was so soft in real-life :) They aren't taking Tommy today they all want some peace  He doesn't know so all good. Sometimes they want to learn things for them selves not keep an eye on him.

His antics have already been brought to the attention of Mr Potter

A quick 'Good morning' to Joan :) I hope all is well with you all? How is the heating? Cold is still improving thanks(())

Carol that's fair enough if it's St John's rules not to show us the trophies. Still I am very pleased for you all and well done for her reading her citation out in front of everyone t4591

Doubly jabbed? which side did you sleep on? :?

Hope you can still knit. One scarf done then? On to the next one :) Well done :)

Toni, My neighbour probably hasn't even heard of Economy7. She has mental health problems. Panic attacks and Agorophobia - although she wanders all over the estate. She even has her wheelie bin fetched and brought back! But she doesn't sleep well, and as she changes her clothes 3 times a day and has a bath at least three times a day, using clean towels every time, she has so much washing to do. [sigh]. :?: :?: Shut up Kathleen, you probably annoy her as much as she annoys you.

Carol, I'm glad your gel relieves your mouth sores. t4591

We have a small group of trees right next to our front gate, plus shrubs in our garden, so plenty of leaves here Toni, thank you sweetie. :D

Afternoon to all, a breezy and grey day again here, some rain, even though none is forecast until tomorrow :?

Hi Carol, so glad you enjoyed your Daughters award ceremony, despite the prolonged travel time. Very proud Mum indeed. A shield to mark her leadership skills, to be the custodian of for a year and a personal award to keep forever t4591 t4591

Shame about the "protocol" for pictures etc. But, rules is rules I guess.

Flu and shingles jabs, attacked on both sides. They are late getting some of these flu injections out, for those over the tender age of 65.

Glad you are getting used to the new teeth, ouch indeed, brushing over the sore area

Hi Joan and Sue - that is good news, new thermostats on all the radiators, mmmm, time frame, this year, next year :? :? :? as soon as possible would be very good. t4591
You were soaked through and your buggy took a long time to dry out, hope you didn't get too cold t111055
Some warming hugs (((()))) for both and the doggies too.

Hi there Toni, I see you are going on mass, to Charley's, to help with the painting.
Glad she had a better night after her inhalers t4591 t115006 may it continue. At least modern paint does not smell like it used to. Gloss used to nearly knock you out, windows flung open, flies coming in and sticking to it, taking days to dry

Sharon will have a look see, or ask the technical people who know about, well, technical things. Maybe it was just lost in the ether for some unknown reason.

I think if there was a 3 way sneeze, there could be damage to buildings, but I am sure the moles would fly out of the ground  :lol::lol:

I think the puskins are in agreement that Tommy can go, when Mother is going, to Hogwarts. He seems to be well behaved with her around, those withering looks are of the strongest variety. :? :? t115006

Mother is asleep at the moment, so not sure if they went this morning - I will find out at Siesta time, when the shrieking starts   :? :?

Duly noted that extra magic squares are needed, Silver is bringing them along asap t115006 t115006

I bet you were worried at Charley's peak flow. Glad the ventolin worked quickly.

Just little old me, having a hair cut today, B's is ok, he is not a moaning ninny when it grows 2 millimetres :lol: still got my alopecia patch  :? :? Only another 4 weeks to wait for my PIP decision, maybe sooner, who knows............

Ah, so they did go to Hogwarts, on their own. Mother will be full of new learnings and speaking LOUDLY about old friends who reside in the great halls, Pepe's statue will be visited too no doubt. t4591 t4591

So Harry has already been made aware of young Tommy's slightly wayward actions

Hi Kath Oh dear, your poor neighbour and your good selves too. Difficult when someone has problems that run deep. Mind, if you have agoraphobia then you are not likely to wander about outside, certainly not on your own :? :? :? Very strange.

Three lots of clean towels a day, I can sympathise with one and the hand towels. Tea towels and dishcloths are changed umpteen times I must admit.
Economy 7, did that not vanish along with Noah's Ark? Or do we still have it :?: :?:

Glad you have lots of leaves to jump into, we will have to squirrel some away, to dive into, over winter.

Thank you for the ratatouille - very yummy. Perfect for supper.

Hi to Barbara, hope you and yours are ok. Likewise for all our other cafe and forum friends.

I had best be making a move, it is already dark

Will call back later t4591 t115006 love and sparkles XXX Aidan

straight into the booth!!! taptaptaptapTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP. SPLAT!!!

    Right wash on button pressed.

Is the alopecia improving at all? What does B say? At least I hope it isn't worsening? Won't be too long until you hear about your PIP - maybe it will go into the bank before then anyway :?

Yes en masse to Charley's today and hopefully again tomorrow. Thanks for the extra magic squares t115006 Blimey my hands wrists fingers  Still almost done now :)

I'm afraid Mr Potter was warned about Tommy and not by any of our three. His reputation has gone ahead of him

They did indeed go this morning just the girls. They showed Mrs Darcey Pepe's statue. Shed a tear or two then went in for some lessons to take their minds off it.

It is getting dark early isn't it? The new wand is very helpful apparently these darker days.

It's choir practise today hope Barbara remembers.

The sisters may join us and cover for my coughing.

Kath I am pleased you still have enough leaves t120006 t120006 t120006

The ratatouille looks yum ta :D

How awful for your neighbour. She sounds very confused. She must be so anxious having so many baths blimey I don't envy you. Good job for her that she has you two as neighbours.

Right better get on feeding Lucy and me early so I have time to get ready for choir!

    Love

    Evening all

Think Mr T has given me his cold I have a sore throat tonight his cold started on Tuesday evening hopefully it will not get to bad. mouth ulcers getting better. eldest granddaughter has at last had the plaster taken off her arm after 9 weeks. it seems it took ages to heal.

Joan So Sue has her impressions taken in January its different for partial dentures they can put those in straight away. I still have some of my own teeth.

Toni My Daughter didn't actually read the citation herself it was read by one of the regional staff. but she dose have a copy of it which she is going to photocopy for me to keep. yes I can still knit I usually sleep on my back or on my left side had no trouble with either arm after the jabs really neither of them were sore so I was alright.

Kath oven baked Ratatouille how yummy.

Aidan It certainly was ouch when I brushed over the gap I called myself some very rude names believe me it really hurt ulcers are a lot better and eating is getting better I still have problems with the bottom ones and I will probably give the dentist a call about them. the top ones are fine put them in and they stay put with a little fixative. but I am getting used to them. yes rules are rules as you say but still don't help when you would love to show people the pictures. Oh wow that blancmange was delicious.

Barbara yes my daughter was proud to receive the trophy and the largest, but she was also shocked as she knew it was an award for leadership but not which one it was. so I think she was a bit awestruck too. teeth are settling down still having a little problem with lower set so a visit to the dentist may be needed.

well time for me to potter or else I will set chair shaped.

    Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Hi to all - it is a wee bit chilly this evening. Might have to tamper with the buttons on the thermostat :)

Thoughts and prayers are with the people who lost their lives in the mass shooting in California, their families and friends. Yet another horrific event t4591 t4591

Now, who was first in the booth, with the blancmange, need I ask. I could hear the tootsies tapping away Toni :lol: Just too good to resist really.

The alopecia is still the same, no re-growth at the moment, but it has stopped in the one place.
I hope it is not a lengthy wait for my decision, it is creasing me. I am ready for battle, if needs be :? :?

You are welcome to the extra sparkles, you will need them by tomorrow, I can betcha. t115006 t115006

So Tommy's reputation of being a little tinker, had already winged its way to Hogwarts, no surprise I guess, with all the wizards and magic, they can see what is happening, before it happens :?

Mother did speak of the trip through the "gate" this morning and the mark of respect they paid to Pepe t115006 t115006

They went into the mixing of potions class, for advanced blending. Some of the ingredients were rather creepy, from Mothers description   :? :?

Mother loves her new wand and enjoys illuminating the bedroom like Super Trouper   :lol:

I did see Sister Euphemia fiddling with her Wimple, :? :?:lol: so obviously on the way to choir practice. I am sure Barbara was on her way too. They will cover for any coughs and sniffles.

Hi Barbara, I thought you would be on the way to choir, Sister Euphemia was calling for you, from the shed :lol:

Yes, hair all trimmed down to number 2. Feels much better. Alopecia affects all ages, as your GD friend knows all too well. It can recover, just as soon as it starts, or, it can last forever. Some of the wigs are so good, you would never know. I have seen the ones that you wear all the time, you can go swimming etc without worrying.
They do cost a lot of ££ though.

Blancmange and plum sponge, I cannot see any reason on earth as to why not :)

I hope that they let me know one way or another, asap from PIP. The last text I received was on the 1st Nov, saying it could be up to 6 weeks :?

I hope your eyes are feeling a bit better today t4591 t115006

Hi Carol That's kind of Mr T, to share his cold, NOT. t2507 Hope it is short lived and you feel better very soon. It is that time of year again.

It can take a long time for some fractures to knit together. I am sure you GD feels a lot better with the cast taken off. It will feel very strange, with itchy flaky skin too.

So there were rude name calling in the bathroom when you brushed over your sore mouth. No one heard, honest  :lol: As long as things are improving. From B's experience, the bottom denture always seems to be the one that will move more readily than the top, simply because of the plate holding things in place.

Small dots of fixative usually sort things out and they will need relining every so often, (not for a long while yet) But as the gums change shape slightly.

It would be nice to see your Daughters proud award photo's, but, rules are strict, which I guess is fair enough. We know you were all over the moon t4591 t4591

Glad you liked the blancmange, good old fashioned soul food, ideal with the plum duff, as my mother used to call it.

Quiet evening here, nothing overly exciting. Pottering, as one does. Off to Blackburn this morning, B has appt at the opticians.

Nero's or a n other coffee house, will feature as part of the ventures, I am sure. :)

Right, I had best move again. Lots of love and sparkles to everyone in and about t4591 t115006 t115006 Take care XXXX Aidan

Crepes for my breakfast :) Thanks :DAidan

It was a good job the Sisters arrived on time for choir practise Barbara was a little late. Mind you she sang well thanks to her trip to the shed first....she looses all her inhibitions

Oh yes California :( So so upset I can't even talk about it God Bless them all and their families and friends. t4591

So it's not worsening the alopecia that is something. The teenage cancer trust bought all of the kids (whatever gender) and real hair wig costing up to £2000 a throw you know. Made such a difference to the kids to have hair. The NHS ones were to old fashioned and actually far too big for Lucy.

((())) regarding PIP result. Please don't let it be too long now.

Advanced blending yes that's what they need now our two they are well able as of course is Mrs D who I popped in to see yesterday. Apparently Tommy is a great favourite of the local children playing on the windowsill for them showing off!!

Tosca mentioned their visit to Pepe's statue? Bless her Sleek did too she was a tad tearful (and said Mother was too). She is working on a spell to dispel sadness for a while she knows it can't be done permanently as we must grieve for those we lose.

I hope the optician's isn't to expensive a job for B and that you enjoy your cuppa while you are out :)

Carol I am so very sorry about the cold! You have had far too many this year! ((()))

Glad to hear your GD's arm is finally healed I bet she's happy about that :)

Nice to have a copy of the citation to keep you sound like me keeping that sort of thing. I read my Brother's eulogy to my Mum the other day you could have heard me bawling for yours!

Good that your jabs have left you free to sleep on your side and that you can and are still knitting :D

Barbara Charley and I are honestly being careful with the paint fumes I promise. Mind you I will get the low fume next time like it or not.

We have masks and all doors/windows shut. Pusskin safely upstairs.

You made it to choir for the break and biccies!

I hope your eyes feel a bit better today ((()))

A quick hello to Joan and Sue it's Suesday isn't it? If you are out today I hope you have a good day.

    Love to everyone

Hi everyone, Tesco is due any minute, so can't stop. Will just leave this recipe TaTa. t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591 t4591

    Whole mung dahl
Category: Main meal | Serves: 8
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 25-35 minutes

    INGREDIENTS 225g/8oz whole mung

    600ml/20fl oz water

    1 small onion, roughly chopped

    1 medium tomato

    2 green chillies

    1 teaspoon ginger, crushed

    1/2 teaspoon garlic, crushed

    3 whole cloves

    1 teaspoon cumin seeds

    2 x 2.5cm/1in cinnamon sticks

    1 teaspoon garam masala

    1 teaspoon coriander cumin powder

    1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

    1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

    1 teaspoon lime juice

1 tablespoon coriander stalks and leaves, chopped

Wash the mung then put them in the pressure cooker with 600ml/ 20fl oz water. Liquidise the onion, tomato, green chillies, ginger and garlic and add the liquidised mixture to the mung. Dry roast the cloves, cumin seeds and cinnamon sticks, and grind to a fine powder with a pestle and mortar. Add this powder, with the rest of the spices, to the mung and cook on a medium heat. When the whistle blows, lower the heat and cook for a further 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how well cooked you like the dhal. Stir in the lime juice and chopped coriander just before serving.

    Afternoon to all............:)

Best laid plans, all changed, the problem that B had with his vision yesterday, seems to have cleared, so the appt at the opticians was cancelled.
Showing some symptoms of shingles, but no blisters at the moment. Just the pinging type pain on the scalp.
Rang surgery, they now have a morning surgery on a Saturday (a new thing) so appt made for tomorrow am. Best get it checked out, sooner the better.

You are welcome to the crepes Toni and everyone :) they looked too good to miss.

I didn't realises that Sister Inviolata was there at choir too. I think Barbara was having trouble finding her way out of the shed  :lol: hence her being a tad late

California and now another attack from a knife man in Melbourne. You just never know where such things can happen, puts me off going out sometimes, especially to larger towns.

No my alopecia is just the one area. Good to hear that the teenage cancer trust paid for all the hair pieces for the youngsters. They are very costly, but there is a huge difference from the standard NHS ones.

keeping calm as possible, re PIP :? :? Me, calm, yeah, right Aidan.

The puskins enjoyed their advanced blending, Mother has brought a little bottle of "potion" home with her, which is now under her bed of many blankets - quite what is does, I am not sure, but it does "glow" with magic t115006 t115006
It might be part of the anti sadness spell, which they used after spending some quiet time with Pepe's statue.:cry: It only last a short while, as you say. Happiness is not a permanent state of mind.

So Tommy likes to show off to the Children, he is a rogue, bless im. t4591 :lol:

We went to the GC instead, had brunch with Dad. Scrambled eggs on toast for Bill and Bill (senior) I had fried egg and two hash browns in a muffin - yummy. Then a scone, well, I don't like to be rude to the chef who bakes them. It was not too busy at all, loads of free tables :o

Popped in the vets for some more kitten biscuits to keep Mother happy, she loves her sweets.

Sainsb, then collected shipping order of prescriptions   have yet to put them away.

Definitely take care with the paint, even though they are low odour now, less volatile compounds or something like that. ((())) and t115006 t115006 for any ouches...........

Hi there Sue and Joan. Hope you don't get soaked again today, while you are out at the shops.
Any news on the thermostats being fitted, the weather seems to be cooling off again and we don't want either of you feeling chilly.

Hi Kath, I hope you Tesco order arrived safely and is all put away. I was surprised to read that Tesco Direct has stopped now.

Thank you for the whole mung dahl, sounds interesting and tasty.

    Hugs for any ouchies ((()))

Hi to Barbara, will GDad be picking Niamh up from school today? Time for tea at Nans :) maybe a bit of light dusting and vacuuming t4591

Hi to Carol, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Mig, DD, SW, Toady, Christine and all.

Time I was moving, I am setting rapidly.

Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 I will pop back later - now, something sweet, to follow the veggie dahl dish. XXX Aidan

    Evening all

Been a bit of a chilly day today here and some rain while Mr T and myself were having our usual dinner out, but it stopped before we had finished so we didn't get wet but the rain is teeming down.

Aidan Mr T is very generous with his cold germs but I don't think I will be thanking him for being so generous :lol: but he did give me some throat lozenges he brought when we were in Paris when he had a very sore throat so I suppose that is something I suppose. :? it seems to be all in the nose at the moment. hopefully that is where it stays. as far as the photos are concerned I don't understand St John I would think it was good publicity for the organisation but they don't seem to think so. this has been much more imposed since I left in in the last six years since I left St John. So glad B's vision has cleared up. and doctors tomorrow to check for Shingles hopefully it turns out not to be. yes rude name calling indeed good job I was only calling myself rude names trouble is my toothbrush is one of those electric ones so it hurt a bit more.  but all is okay now.

Toni Mr T has had a lot more colds than me this year but I must admit I have had more than I usually do. Yes I think GD is quite glad to have had the plaster off her arm. yes I am like you I do save things like in one off my cloths drawers is a little piece of writing she copied when she was about 4 years old (she is now 44) it took her so long to do it I couldn't part with it. I also have a Christmas tree decoration amongst me tree decorations that my nearly 27 year old GD made when she was just 5 at school for me it is now very tatty but I cannot bring myself to throw it away. the jabs have been no problem at all.

Joan Hi Sue my impressions were being taken during my treatment on other teeth, as they are only partial dentures I still have some of my own teeth. Only one badly broken tooth needed to come out the others were to fill the up gaps of in my teeth lost over the years so mine were ready on my last appointment and that was the day I had the broken one taken out. So I don't really know how long it takes for them to be ready if you have had all teeth removed my 4 appointments were over a six week period. As for advice I have mine for had for 8 days now and the difficult things have been eating and speaking with a slight lisp but every day gets better. I think just persevere with them

need to potter now as I have been sitting for too long
