Oooh breakfast in Santorini - Greece will be lovely thank you Aidan!
Home in time for clear up and any household immaculasation necessary
Thank you for your praise of our scarecrow display we are most proud all of us.
I bet the next village will copy our communal display this year. They already have planters everywhere full of winter flowers. What a waste when judging for BKV doesn't start till May
Our accumulated rubbish will be ready for you and Barbara biodegradable only of course
No frosts this morning according to Sleek so she and Tosca just went a ride out and about ending up at the Nymphs café for a catteinated tuna latte. No more spell mishaps today
Carol well done for saying you'll be paying for your own coffees far the best policy. Done now and quite true too.
Oh I can't wait to see the little jacket! July will soon be here won't it?
My lap-top has to stay plugged in too so I'm no better than you for getting mine fixed  . I have moved the table so the wire is not a trip hazard.
I hope your tooth doesn't trouble you and t115006 for Mr T's back ((()))
I hope Joan spent a comfortable night in her own bed last night Sue t69044 and that you are both warm enough.
Love to everyone

m0150 I thought Santorini would be just perfect in Spring Time - not too hot.............
I hope all are as well as can be on another sunny day m0150 Started off cooler, but warming up very quickly. :? :?
Yes Toni, back from Greece in time for some fussing and pottering, bedding etc...........mothers "facilities" all immaculised - she is very particular - very
So the next village is festooned with winter flowers, that will all have to come out.............  Different evergreens would be better at this time, alongside some daffy's and tulips................If you want Barbara and I can dig them all up
The biodegradable trash is up in the trees and on the rooftops - Sleek thought it was hill hairy louse  she pronounced it so well, bless her
Mother Glitter Sparkles t115006 said they had a little wander at the trig point on Pendle, then sat on the new stone seats, they are out of the wind, so ideal on a sunny morning. t4591 t4591 The latte was more catteine than tuna, so not as whiffy  :? :?
She is resting now :animal_busy: building up her strength for a 4pm shriek. Tell a fib, she is 15 minutes early..............
Hi Joan, lovely to see you back home. That is good, with the dressings only needing to be on two days.
Out and about with Sue and the lovely doggies, you are a star, truly t115006 t115006
You are more than welcome to the well wishes and abundant sparkles and hugs (((())) t4591
Hi Kath, I will have to look on YouTube for the girl from Nottm. Sounds very good, as you are glued to the tv
Tutti frutti cake looks wonderful, thank you kindly, I will just pop round to Toni's for some clotted cream
Hope any ouches are minimal - extra ((())) just in case, always best to have some hugs in reserve...............
Hi to Barbara - hope you and yours are all ok, some extra ((())) and t4591 for all.
Hi to Carol and Mig, Christine, Kerrin, DD, SW, Toady, Elizabeth and all
I will pootle away and sort out my pills. Mother is shouting so loudly, as if she is being lynched

Evening all it was so warm today but the temp has just started to drop rather rapid..
Aiden sticky toffee cake was lovey and so was the breakfast from Santorini we will be under the cloak on Monday morning..ooh thats tomorrow already.. so you got rid of the fleas when in France..I remember when we were young the council came to fumigate an house nearby because of fleas..nasty things..we had cockroaches in our first house from a factory at the back..ooh I am shivering..I hate the things and they would appear at night..  thankyou for the extra sparkles..xx
Toni they are brilliant pics of the scarecrows..I showed the snapchat pic to Niamh and said what do you think they are ..scarecrows she said ,I said how do you know, because its wrote across the middle I didnt see that bit..I was good at making a penny for the guy..so who knows
Carol I bet the little jumpers is so lovely cant wait to see a pic..when you think July will soon be here.. glad you put your friend straight..much better than dwelling on things..
Joan you have done so well you have done but knowing you Im not surprised and you are very welcome to the support now dont overdo things ...and Love to Sue(())xx
Kath thankyou we can never have enough cake..
we have just been to see BIL..plenty of wheelchairs has its quite a way..he looks so tired but thats not a bad thing, and not in pain ..Christie's gave him some radiotherapy and sent him back to the hospital he was in and have changed his meds..

Hi to all -
It certainly was warm Barbara, come T time I was in a lather
Cooler now, but the heating has not clicked in yet.
I see you have a slice of all the cakes , rightly so, enjoy them
Drs, yes, this morning, Monday is upon us already. We should all fit in the lift  Just............
Thank you in advance of being under the cloak.
I remember cockroaches in some of the old hospitals that I worked in, old Victorian buildings. They used to come out at night and scuttle along the corridors   I quite agree, they are horrid things - shudder............. :? :?
Very welcome to the extra sparkles t115006 t115006 we all need them from time to time
The scarecrows are really good in Toni's village, they always put on a good display. The next village to us has a scarecrow festival and a lot of the villages in the Dales, do the same thing.
We used to take a penny for the Guy, round the village, in a wheelbarrow
So your BIL is back in the same hospital again. I didn't realise that he was going for assessment and some palliative treatment, before returning to the ward. Looking sleepy tired is not a bad thing at all, he is not in pain and seems comfortable. t4591 t4591
Hi to Toni - how was the day out at Goodwood, did Lucy and Paul have a good time?
I hope you have had a bit more of a rested day, after Scarecrowing and then village clean up.
Sleek was over at siesta time, they did a little more levitating, difficult to watch my tv when it is floating around the room   :? :? t115006 They thought it was hill hairy us
The weather seems to be set fair so there will be trips out I would guess, Lytham, Southport, to see the red squirrels, Blackpool, to walk round the top of the tower, on the glass floor    (never in a months of Sundays). instant vertigo. Mother said "the Tilt" in Chicago is far more fun (Google it, then hold on to your seats)
Hi to everyone else in and about. Off to the GC after my Drs visit. Will need a coffee and a cake
Time I was moving again. I seem to have been daydreaming for a while :? :?
Leaving lots of love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 Take lots of care XXXXX Aidan
Mushroom Bagels - on your marks, Kath
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Ooooh! mushroom bagels! Thanks Aidan lovely just what I need
The cloak is smelling lovely all fresh ready for your trip to the Drs this morning. We might join you for cake and a cuppa afterwards. I have popped some rhoddas in the cloak's fridge incase needed (always needed!).
I have a tickle in my throat so will pop on a mask don't want to give anything to you all
Sleek's latest word seems to be 'hill hairy us' everything is 'hill hairy us' did she get it from Mother or was it one of the nymphs who said it originally? They love the new seats on Pendle sheltered yes Sleek puts a rug on Mother's knees bless her. She is very caring of Tosca.
I am very pleased to say I have never seen a cockroach and hope I never do  shudder shudder :?
Lucy and Paul had a lovely time at Goodwood Lucy has walked her legs off! It was the members meet you know!!! Hehehe!
Not going on the tilt ever!!!
I am glad to see all the biodegradable rubbish is in the next village I agree winter bedding this late in the season  waste of money for sure! We have plenty of foliage and our daffs are still going strong too
Barbara Niamh is clever reading that word it's not a common word is it? Did she like them?
I am very glad to hear BIL has had some treatment and hope he is much more comfortable now ((())) t115006 t115006
Well I'd better get on need a hairwash with my shower this morning before the cloak collects us all. I think I have half the village muck in it

Hi to all - just a quick hi, to let you know of the Drs appointment.
Thank you for being under the cloak t4591 t4591 sorry that you all had to wait SO long........................................50 minutes after my due time, I went in    There was a very clean fresh smell of cloak - many thanks Toni
He was pleased to see me and we had a natter, as you do. (me thinking all the time, B will be getting agitated waiting for me)
My blood results had just come through, cholesterol down a fair bit Renals at 97%. Liver functions ok. He was very pleased, sugar levels, HBalC the one that looks back over three months of your blood cells life, all perfectly fine, so Diabetes is controlled with pills and I need to eat MORE cake obviously
He is going to make an appointment and inject my knee, as it is So painful now, waking me up most nights, which takes some doing with the chemical cosh I take. :? :?
Referring me to Beardwood (private hosp) to a Cardiologist from the Blackburn Hospital team, who he recommends, it is too far to trek nearly to Bradford and I was not overly keen with the one I saw last year, he was nowhere near a replacement to the one who retired
As GP said, I need a Cardio to keep an eye on me, twice a year, make sure my heart is doing what it should be and take into account my other health problems. IE good bedside manner.
The message about GTN spray was computer generated, after all that performance    :? :? he said, ignore it
So, an hour and more later, I was out the door..........................
Home to pick Dad up then to the GC for lunch.
I will reply to everyone, later on. Best get organised, we were not in until 3pm.

Nice Dr. I am glad you should see a cardio who is nice and with everything else you have going on 2xs annually is a good idea. We were all very impressed with your results Sleek said Tosca said daddy 2 got an A*!!!
Kath those buns look seriously yum
Are Quokkas endangered? If they are maybe we could help out?????
Yes we are waiting for Paul to watch BGT with us
Hi Joan we just want to win Best kept village again orat least for the next village NOT to win!! You are doing so well, but take care now t4591

Evening all..had a busy day so late and I am in bed on my phone
Aiden thankyou for the mushrooms bagel, it was very nice..I am so pleased your results were good..so no need to worry about the sprays..gosh these comps have a mind of there own ...and he is sending you to see a new consultant..I hope he is has nice as your other.. you did wait a while but we had cake so all was fine..
Apparently they gave our BIL the radiotherapy and different meds at Christie's..and he did seem more relaxed..I remember well how Christie's were with mum dad and my brother..cant fault them.they say he can come home this week ..do you think they have more powers to give stronger meds I do wonder.. and they are supplying an hospital bed for him..glad you got a coffee after all that waiting ..and thankyou again for the sparkles...
Toni was I snoring..i think it was the heat under the cloak...yes Aiden and I worked hard putting all the rubbish in the trees in the next village. He held the ladder and up I went.. like you say they will have to put summer plants in soon...glad that Paul and Lycy had a good day..tired but happy...I would say..
Kath I like the cake tutti fruiti was it..I might give that a go..if Niamh dosnt est all the sweets..have you got new neighbours yet...
Joan..good for you getting out and about..and you will be healing every day..is the nurse coming at all..(())
Right better go I am falling asleep.

Finally, a little time to write..............
Another lovely day, more pleasant with a nice breeze m0150 m0150
Glad you enjoyed the mushroom bagels Toni. They were yummy
The cloak was so fresh and clean, I am not surprised Barbara nodded off, the wait was getting to me as well. Another couple of minutes and I would have been away. :? :?
Wise to wear a mask, I always want to wear one when I go to the Drs, with all the germy things in the waiting rooms..................lurking................
Sleek picked up the hill hairy us from Mother, Mother speaking all posh it sounds just like that
This is the new resting area on top of Pendle, when it was being built not so long back. Provided welcome shelter too, as the weather on the hill can change in minutes. People have to be rescued on occasions, when thick cloud comes down.
Tosca was most grateful for the blanket, they said it was quite warm in the sunshine, as they nestled down on the stones. t4591 Sleek pampers Mother, bless her.
I hope you never see any cockroaches either, they are fast as lightning, with big feelers on their heads
ewwwww
Poor Lucy, has she got little legs now , having walked for England at Goodwood with Daddy. Glad they had a good time though t115006 t115006
I think your village is on to a winner, with the foliage and lots of daffs growing nicely. There is plenty of time for bedding plants, come May.
So you are not going on "the tilt" - I could not even go up there and watch, 1000 feet up.......................errrrrm, no, never, ever, not a hope.
I am glad all the bloods came back ok and was thrilled that my cholesterol was down to 4.1 my statins have been increased for about 6 months now, so they are obviously working. I have hyperlipidaemia (genetic, from Dads side). Means that diet etc has little effect on my cholesterol levels, I just produce too much in my little old liver.
The surgery rang later in the afternoon and I have my appointment for my knee jabs, steroid and local. My GP does it and wastes no time, like playing darts, bulls eye............  I cannot be doing with dithering with needles, just do it.
Mother was very pleased with Daddy 2's results and was on the phone to Sleek straight away.
We need Quokkas, they are adorable. Sometimes called the happiest animals on the planet - oh bless them, their habitat is under great threat.
It is illegal to snuggle, or smuggle them, nor can you keep them as pets, they are happy little ones, but have razor sharp claws, cannot be house trained and are mainly nocturnal. They are not afraid of humans though.
Hi Kath - I see you have been in the cake tin, the trail of crumbs gave it away It is officially the law, that you cannot have enough cake.
I thought you would like the mushroom bagels.
City Hospital, yes, cockroaches were there, also at St Francis, on the same grounds but no longer a hospital now. General Hospital I never worked there, but I do remember it well, also the ladies hospital on Peel Street. Gosh, I am going back in time now
Ta for the steamed buns, they look yummy. I won't try and pronounce their name :? :?
Did you look up the TILT, is that why you were a little shocked
Hi Joan and Sue - how are you feeling hun, hope you are mending well. You just get well very soon. You are doing great, out and about and I hope resting in between times. :animal_busy: t4591 t4591
I am ok, keep pottering along, smile and say everything is "fine", as we all do.
Glad you agree that we need more cake. t115006 t115006
Hi Barbara, resting in your boudoir whilst tapping on your phone, not easy, makes my eyes go squiffy..........then B reminds me to put my glasses on and that makes a huge difference   8) 8)
I know, stupid computer, making me worry about my GTN sprays - Dr said they have a mind of their own. :? :?
If the new Cardio he is referring me to, is half as nice as the one who retired, then that will be fine.
Christie's are really good at their job, they do provide excellent care and treatment. If your BIL is more relaxed and comfortable and is coming home this week, then that is a positive step, always best to be in your own home. t4591 t115006
With regard treatment, they can and do recommend different regimes of medicines. Good that they are sorting out a hospital bed (the community team did that with my Dad). I assume they will arrange follow up visits and care, when your BIL is home.
I didn't hear any snoring from under the cloak. Mind you, it is sound proof
We did a good job, putting all the rubbish up in the trees, well, you did, I just held the ladder, passing bags of trash We want Toni's village to win, sorry, Sleeks village...........
Hope you slept well :animal_busy:
Hi to Carol and to Mig, love and hugs to both t4591 ((()))
Hi to everyone else, in and about. Time I stopped waffling on and did some more pottering.

I will away, leaving lots of love and sparkles as I toddle off. t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Today we have Croatian Apple Cake
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Croatian apple cake Aidan thanks very much just my kind of breakkie! Can add liberal dollops of rhoddas to it
So Mother is the one speaking posh then?!! Well it's Sleek's latest word and honestly we are all doing it now it's catching! She's just back from this mornings trip out she decided it was too nippy for another morning on Pendle despite the lovely shelter (I will photograph our own shelter here almost the same!) so they just went a ride.
Over Sleek's village {get it right Aidan ) and the next one too. Mother looked down her nose on that one. Apparently their 'attempts' at floral displays are hill hairy us!
4.1 is excellent for your cholesterol I bet the Dr is pleased. I hope you like the new cardio too. A* pupil you were.
Now shhh….don't tell Barbara, but she did snore a bit. Just a bit it set Sleek and Tosca off shrieking with laughter. The soundproofing works doesn't it?!
Lucy's long legs are far shorter now after Goodwood! Paul has to insect ALL the cars there and try ALL the food  Lucy doesn't like chipotle sauce!!! Toooooo HOT!!!
We can help save the endangered Quokkas?? Yippee!! :animal_busy:
Morning Barbara Lucy and Paul had a lovely Daddy-daughter bonding time at Goodwood.
Of course (fingers crossed behind back   ) you didn't snore under the cloak it was warm though wasn't it?
BIL will be more comfortable in a hospital bed and the nurses can get to him easier too at home to help. Sounds as if Christies is an excellent hospital! t115006
Hi to Joan I hope you are still doing well with your recovery
Must get on lots to do today!
Love
Toni xx0 -
Aidan I was shocked at ALL of it! Although most of it went right over me ed (even with me at on). MMM, Croatian apple cake, think I'll plonk a choc ice on mine, thank you.
Joan, you're welcome, just make sure you rest well between the (gentle) exercises, and recover from the trauma.
QUOKKAS aw bless, they look so smily, yes we must have some to take care of. I'll order some extra padded gloves so we don't get accidently scratched.
Erm, sorry about the mess. I forgot nunu was away visiting.
Butternut Chestnut and Lentil cake
Ingredients
1 large butternut squash
3 tbsp sunflower oil
, plus extra for greasing
3 onions
, chopped
15g pack of sage
, 12 leaves reserved, rest finely chopped
2 sprigs rosemary
, leaves stripped and chopped, plus a few springs to serve
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp ground mace
2 tbsp ground chia seeds or linseeds (flaxseeds)
2 x 200g packs cooked chestnuts
2 x 400g cans brown lentils, rinsed and drained
200g wholemeal vegan breadcrumbs
3 tbsp rapeseed oil
Method
First, use a veg peeler to peel the butternut squash and heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Then using, a large, sharp knife cut a few 1cm thick ring-slices from the bulbous end, and a few small solid slices from the top end. Set aside the slices, and dice the rest into 1-2cm chunks. Toss the chunks with 1 tbsp of the sunflower oil on a baking parchment-lined tray and roast for 20-30 mins until tender and golden.
Meanwhile prepare the tin. It’s worth taking some time to do this, as it’ll be the top of your cake in the end – and the bit you want to look impressive! Line the base of a deep, round, 25cm tin with a sheet of baking parchment. Brush the new base and sides with some oil, then start to arrange the rings in the base. You want to get in as many as you can, overlapping a bit like the Olympic rings. Snuggle in as many flat as you can, then sit your overlapping ones on top, cutting out bits of the squash, so they’ll also sit flat too. Any leftover trimmings, put in a microwave-proof bowl with a splash of water, cover with cling film and microwave on High at 2 min intervals until tender – around 5-6 minutes.
In a separate pan, soften the onion in the last 2 tbsp of sunflower oil, over a very low heat so it doesn’t brown. Stir in the chopped sage, half the rosemary, and the garlic and mace, and cook for another few mins until fragrant. Mix the ground chia seeds or linseeds with 4 tbsp of water, and set aside with the cooling onions, until gluey.
Meanwhile, roughly chop half the chestnuts but keep them chunky. Put the other half in a food processor with half the lentils, the microwaved squash and one-third of the roasted squash. Pulse to a mashed mixture. Tip this into a large mixing bowl with the softened onions, breadcrumbs, ground seed mixture and 1 tsp salt. Mash everything together really well to thoroughly mix, then more gently stir in the chopped chestnuts, followed by the whole lentils, and finally the remaining roasted squash chunks. Carefully press this mixture around and over the squash rings in the prepared tin. Level off the top, making sure it is tightly packed, then cover with foil. The cake can now be chilled for up to 24 hours before continuing.
To bake, heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Put the cake (still foil covered), into the oven on a middle shelf and bake for 1 hr.
To serve, heat the rapeseed oil in a small frying pan and sizzle the reserved sage leaves with the remaining rosemary sprigs for a minute. Loosen around the sides of the cake with a round-bladed knife, then sit a serving plate inverted on top, and carefully flip the plate to turn out the cake. Spoon over the sizzled sage and rosemary leaves and herby oil, and serve at the table – for cutting into wedges in front of everyone.
Hope Barbara enjoys this recipe. Well, hope you all do."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all - a sunny day here m0150 m0150 quite warm with the tumble dryer going, window wide open though, to minimise melting "moments".
Rhoddda's will go very nicely with the Apple cake from Croatia Toni. I seem to be on a trip round the world, with goodies to eat.
Yes, Mother is speaking posh, hill hairy us...... although she is rather po faced at the moment, having had her nails clipped. She was straight on the phone to Sleek, so expect a drama   something about having all her nails completely removed
I think they enjoyed the ride out this morning, I assume it was quite early, as Mother was waking me up every ten minutes from some unearthly hour :? :? It would have been a chilly breeze up on Pendle, early doors.
She did enjoy riding over Sleeks villages, absolutely putting her nose up at the rival village - she wanted to dig up the winter plants and throw soyl all owver :? :?
I was pleasantly surprised at my cholesterol levels Cake, more cake
The soundproofing worked well, although the GP did look around, I said oh, the birds are noisy   :? :? guessing that there was a hoo hah under the cloak
Mother is casting a spell of extension, for Lucy's legs.............I did say, please be careful and get it right first time
Glad Paul and Lucy enjoyed some time out together, inspecting ALL the cars   chipottle sauce, I have seen it, but will give it a miss I think............. :?
The Quokkas are gorgeous and we must save them, I see Kath has some special gloves so we can give them a little cuddle and avoid any sharp claws.

I would love to go to the top of Pendle. The only way would be by helicopter, I will put it on my bucket list t115006
I had not heard of the lovely Quokkas, they are wonderful and need protecting, we really are destroying the planet and most things that were here, long before mankind.

I am sure the nurses will go round to your BIL, with regular checks. Fancy still not wanting A allowance, nor does he want to go into the Hospice. I can understand his hesitation about it to be honest, even though we know what amazing care you are given, with your own private rooms etc.
True, you can only do so much, we have said that a fair few times over the years..............
You are more than welcome to the extra sparkles t115006 t115006 a bit like cake, you can never have too many
Oh dear, naughty puskin,  garden birds are at ever increasing risk, they are quite unafraid of us hoomans and forget that there are cats about. Sad, as you have been feeding him all this time.
Hope you manage to rest up, after your shopping trip. They are exhausting, no one would believe us..........
Hi Joan and Sue - I read that Debenhams have gone into admin, another high street chain gone............

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi to all - it has turned chilly this evening  clear skies, might be a frost :? :?
I am being restrained and not eating all the chocolate praline torte :? :? Must share
Not a deal happening here, siesta, then supper, catching up with Portrait Artist. The ones we wanted to get through to the final, did do, so very pleased.
Have you been on the "TILT" yet Barbara, Toni wants to go, (said no one, EVER)
Will Niamh be coming round today. I know school is out for Easter, seems early for the holidays this time, usually a week before and a week after :? :?
I did hear people saying how late Easter was this year................
I hope you managed to get everything done Toni, on your busy day. Sleek said that Mummy had lots of thyngs to doo. That was after the fuss over Mothers nails being trimmed - I was going to take a couple of lugs out, but that might have been a bridge too far   :? :?
A note came down the chimney we don't have, from Hogwarts, there is an Easter celebration party on Easter Monday, just before term begins again.
All former pupils are invited - Sleek should have a letter, somewhere in her ickle house t115006 t115006
There will be the worlds most expensive Easter Egg on display, ££ five million pounds. With 1000 diamonds. t115006 Sleek will faint, we can guarantee that

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Kath yes please I would love o hold a little Quokka. By the way that recipe looks really tasty I think Kari will love it
Barbara poor bird I am sorry :x
Niamh can make a scarecrow! Just make a small one maybe? I have ideas for mine this year
I'm sure BIL will accept a nurse at home, but yes many many people fear hospices even though they are wonderful places.
Aidan yes please to the chocolate torte.....I know what will go with that!
I am NOT going on the tllt!! Have you forgotten the Budapest eye?!
Sleek tried to tell me that Tosca's 'cwaws' have been removed  Soon put her right there  I recommend avoiding the lugs for a day or two. Apparently Tosca has revenge planned
Lucy's legs are the correct size now although at one point......I was rather worried!
Oh yes Sleek has brought her invite to show me! she is going to the Easter celebration! Her invite was in her ickle house and she is hoping to win the egg in a raffle :? bless her that's because we are having a raffle here for an Easter egg
Maltese diamond date filled pastries for breakie! Thanks Aidan
I hope you and Dad enjoy the T rooms and he is ok today.
Joan no!!! Not Debenhams now too?! Just panicked then, but the bridal shoes are from John Lewis. How are you doing?
Love to everyone
Toni xx0 -
Don't know whether to start with the torte, or the date filled pastries - Oh well, here goes. A spoonful of that a bite of this, and start again. Definitely will stay away from the TILT. But I like the egg although I won't be able to eat it of course.
Creamy mushroom filo parcels
INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp vegan butter/olive oil
700g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
2 small onions, chopped
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
⅛ tsp ground cloves
½ tbsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp coconut cream
1 tsp dried parsley
½ tsp sage
½ tsp thyme
3 sheets of filo pastry - approximately 20’ x 10’
Chives
Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Add vegan butter/olive oil to a large pan over medium heat. When the oil/butter is hot, add the onions and sauté for about five minutes, then add the garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes more, ensuring that it doesn’t burn
Add the mushrooms to the pan, and cook for about 10 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft and most of the water has evaporated
Add the coconut cream, mustard, the seasonings, and salt and pepper to taste and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Allow the mixture to cool.
To prepare the pastry, brush olive oil all over one sheet of filo, and lay another sheet directly on top. Repeat for the third sheet, so that you have one piece of pastry with three layers.
Cut the pastry into quarters, and then divide the filling between each piece of pastry.
To assemble, take the edges of the pastry and form into a parcel shape, gently pressing at the top of the filling to hold in place
Secure each parcel by tying a couple of chives at the top.
Brush the outside of each parcel with olive oil and place on a baking tray
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200C, or until the pastry is golden.

Afternoon to all - was quite a nippy wind this morning, in town. Now we are wall to wall m0150 m0150
Would it be cream of some description that will go well with the cake Toni, maybe eh
No, I had not forgotten the Budapest Eye, but if Barbara wanted to go on the TILT   then I am sure we would go with her - as in NOT ON YOUR NELLY :? :? Stand in here then we will tilt you out, so you can look straight down 1000 feet to the ground
Mother has ordered some acrylic nails from catazon   Bless, I knew there would be a fuss. Revenge................I bet I am levitated again and left on the ceiling
Good job the spell worked correctly on Lucy's legs   Mother had said, "trust me, I am a wizard" so that was me told................
Ah, the Diamond Egg, not sure if it is a raffle prize, there may be a replica, I might suggest it to Hermione, just to appease............Anything that sparkles will be fine.
Those Maltese Date Pastries were lovely I had one - ish :? :?
It was nice and quiet in town, so plenty of tables in the T room. We got our fav, right next to the cake counter. Dad had chocolate brownie with ice cream, B a tea cake and I had a scone with all the trimmings, B pinched half my cream, but I did have plenty and then some.
Look forward to seeing your scarecrow at your house
Hi Kath, I would have alternate cakes and pastries, two spoons is fine, you go for it
You, Toni and me, far far away on terra firma, nowhere near the tilt. Just waiting to hear if Barbara wants to go on it, I cannot see it myself...........  :? :?
Oooh the egg, is gorgeous, imagine that sat on the mantle piece and worth 5 million.............well, it would not be on my mantle piece it would be at Sotherby's
Hope any ouchies are minimal and you have some good sunny weather t115006 t115006 m0150 m0150
mushroom filo parcels, perfect, thank you kindly
Hi to Barbara - I would guess that Niamh will be over today, to keep you all on your toes. She will want to make a scarecrow, maybe a baby one t115006 t115006
Hope you are enjoying the weather, getting quite warm here m0150 m0150 trying not to have any "moments" today.
