    Happy weekend to everyone.

Aidan, perhaps C & F could search for dad's missing troosers while they are hunting for stray spids. They would leave them in your eyeline without rvealing themselves. Thank mother for allowing me touch her glam bag. :D She will look the cat's whiskers all dolled up. Many thanks for the pancakes, delicious.

I could hardly stand this morning, me ribs and spine were howling like a pack of wolves. So I put my recliner up, lay back and rang me dad. I like to keep his memory active (and mine too) by talking about times past. He's a bit of a history buff, especially when it comes to family history. so will try and share some family pics with you.

The sad thing is, that out of all the people on the photos, I'm the only one still here.:cry:

Afternoon to all, overcast and quite chilly today - warmer as the week goes on, until I melt, over Easter Week End   :lol:

Yep, at least two of your five a day in those pancakes Toni. All the breakfasts I looked at for Palm Sunday, came up with pancakes :D

I hope the service went well, everyone had their palm cross to bring home and the Rev Delphine was skilled in her message to the congregation :):) t4591 The singing was wonderful, I could hear it on the crystal ball, while Mother was chatting to Sleek.

20 is ok, an ideal temperature for us all I think. Perfect for fussing around the village, your best kept village :D:D t115006

Oh yes, the minibus will be perfect to get us all to the Old Rectory - it is a totally beautiful spot, let me go find a picture of the views

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/puAKNL1posW7LGBk9

Family toddling off from the car park, with pendle in the distance and the "old Post Office" to the right. Mind you, when it is blowy cold, it is t110007 t110007 there. A small price to pay me thinks.

The troosers, not a clue, will just have to buy some more. They still have the labels on, so not hard to miss............he says :? :?

B is a bit achy, but not so bad. He popped round this morning, just to check that Dad was ok and he wasn't out in the garden, doing things, unsupervised............no, he was inside, could not get the tv to work. That was soon sorted.

Yep we are all getting more plump around the middle...........slightly   :? :? I agree, the portions are a bit OTT sometimes.

It is too soon for me to study pics of Pepe and Cookie. I can talk about them fine, but not study pictures.:cry: t115006 t115006 It tore me into pieces if the truth be known.

Glad you like Mothers outfit. She has given the wig to Sleek so she can bunny kick it, as puskins do. Mother is too wobbly on her back legs to do that any more, she used to love ragging things :lol:

No, nails can only be clear coat, at nursing homes and hospitals, which is right. Ward Sisters used to examine our nails "hands out"  Yes Sister.

telly paffy is only between two puskins, Sleek is right, it will make yer edd urt if you try three.  :lol:

Mother has just gone into the bedroom, shrieking her head off     oh, she is on the way back............

    Her blankies have been immaculised

We have had our hair cuts and look SO young now :? :?:lol:
I am still salon junior, I can tidy the clippers away and clean up the work tops.
I am thinking that after 20 years, I will always be the salon junior

Hi Joan and Sue. Dad is pleased that B is doing the garden, he knows he cannot do it himself, he is at risk of falls at the best of times.
It looks better already, a couple more days will have it done, hopefully this week.

The borrowers must have taken the troosers...........no idea where they are.

Hope you are having a pleasant Sunday ((()))

Happy week end to you too Kath :)

Clarence and Florence can certainly go in search of missing breeches - wherever they are I know not.

Mother is most pleased that you like her super glamorous handbag t115006 t115006

Sending hugs and sparkles t115006 t115006 ((())) to help ease those ribs and back. Howling is just about the right terminology
You did right, to sit back in your recliner, ring Dad and go over some family history.

Thank you for sharing the photo's, they are really good.

I know just what you mean, when looking back at old family photo's, you realise just how many people have sadly passed on.:cry:

Thank you for the veggie hash, just perfect. Will enjoy some of that later on :)

Hi to Barbara - hope you are all ok. Are you having a bit of a rest today, after a busy time with Niamh, skating, etc...........
Thoughts and prayers continue with your BIL in mind. t4591 t115006 t115006 and everyone else of course.

Hi to Carol and to Mig, everyone else too, in and about.

Thought you would like to see one of B's creations, it was on TV, on the wall of fame on Jewellery Maker - a suit of seed beading and a seed bead wrapped cabochon - the presenters went "wow". He is a clever lad.

Right, I need to potter, back is ouching a bit more than normal. Must be going around

Hi to all - hope everyone is as ok as can be t4591

Hi to Barbara - did I see you were having trouble with FB, someone getting into your account  :? :?
Glad you changed your passwords asap. A few people I know have had that happen to them......

We had our Ebay account hacked once, suddenly we were selling lots of plasma tv's at £3000 a pop.   Ebay were on it like a shot to resolve it. Thank goodness.

I hope you have had a more restful day. Thoughts and prayers remain with you all and extra comfort ones for your BIL t4591 t4591 t4591

Hi Toni - did you have a more restful afternoon, after the Palm Sunday service. Sleek was telling Mother how lowd the syngyng woz,
Sleek was over at siesta time, with Mrs Darcey. They managed to send me to sleep for a little while, so they could eat as many sweets as possible    :lol:
Mother held court and was reciting old spells from memory, while Sleek was scribing them, in short paw.

They plan to go up to Pendle first thing. Tonight is the last frost on the weather forecast, so best gather as much frosted dew as they can. Mother might be awake, if not, Sleek will be very careful not to wake her. t4591 :animal_busy:

One day this week, they are all going over to Kath's, to go through into the enchanted forest, it is a long time since they visited - me thinks Silver has requested their presence. t115006 t115006

    hpYLb6.jpg

I hope your ouchies are less today Kath. Sending some magic squares, they will be in your slippers and your recliner t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Hi to Carol - hope you are all ok. Let's hope the shower quotes are not too high

Hi to Mig, topping up the strength and love t4591 t115006

Hi to everyone else, in and about.

We are off to Skipton after lunch, Beatrice needs a new battery we think. She starts, but it seems to be getting more of a struggle, so, best get it checked out and changed as required. They do one, mid range, with a 3 year warranty, so we will go for that one. Plus, one of her Jimmy Choo's is squeaking again, more grit in the grease again

Well, time I was pottering, so I will leave lots of love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 Everyone take care. XXXXX Aidan

    Morning everyone!

Off to the hairdresser's today for my usual, but also to try my wedding 'do'! I see Aidan and B maybe Dad have had haircuts too an are looking 10 years maybe 20 younger. Of course you are only qualified to tidy up yet Aidan

B's suite looks fabulous he is so talented and well patient too. Like you I would drop half of them - you know what I'm like with crumbly food

The singing went well Aidan the Rev D was in the congregation while the stand-ins took the service...oh my! if it hadn't been sub-arctic we'd have all fallen asleep!! Afterwards we went to visit some friends up in Stoke :) Feet up after we got home though and a more restful night in front of the TV watching the Durrells.

Sleek said she and Tosca have been over to Pendle the frosts were "bew ti fal" she said because the wind had "blowd it all pretty!" Tosca slept through it all; Sleek levitated her into the side car, added an extra blankie and off they went!! The wig she gave to Tosca is a real favourite for bunny kicking!!

Of course it tore you up Aidan they are family no getting away from it. CLOSE family they are with us all the time and consistently love us :? t4591 t115006 t4591 t115006 (((())))

She is looking forward to going to Kath's to the enchanted garden to see Silver soooo exited!!

A trips to Skipton is always nice and Beatrice does need a new battery according to Sleek Mother said so and the squeeking wheels are hurting her delicat ears!.

Poor little Pusskin had been writing her notes (the short-paw ones) up from Mother's spells yesterday in her own spell-book. She was so tired she fell asleep with her face on the book!!

Blueberry Dutch pancake for breakie lovely thanks very much!

The light fruitcake went down well earlier with a cuppa and I took a slice to pop into Paul's buttie box I hope that's ok?

Kath your dear Dad was a looker in his day wasn't he? In fact a very good-looking family!

Good idea to exercise his memory whilst I hope distracting your own mind from the pain ((())) for you and some t115006

Hash looks nice I could eat that right now!

Ah Joan we've known each other a good while if you remember Eric cat and probably Daisycat's arrival (also known as Sleek!)

Barbara must be sick of jigsaws by now! I am sure all is well but send love incase.

Mig I am thinking of you and sending love and strength.

Right best get on - I have to get my hat down for the hairdressers!!

Hi to all - better late than not at all. I might not get to write my lengthy ditty, will see how we go...............................

Was a cold breeze today, but I see 20 plus on the horizon.

SO SAD to see the terrible fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral :cry:

I see you are looking at least 20 years younger now Toni, just like the rest of us :):) Very smart indeed, the wedding "do" looked fabulous Miss Sleek said. Mummy's hare woz verri luvly :?

Yep, still a salon junior, I am resigned to that fact now. I cannot be let loose with scissors (he says with great relief actually   :? :? )

B is a clever lad. He is so patient with all his creations. (there are times when the air can be tinged with blue)  :? :? if a needle breaks or he spots a missed seed bead, when he has finished something and has to deconstruct it all again. :? :? I just keep quiet and make a cup of T......................... :? :?

He is busy sorting out a veritable shop full of items, as family who are staying at the park home site over hill and dale, rang and said, shall we come to you today, then go to the GC for lunch   we were planning an at home sorting out day - all change :? :? kind of thrown me, but it will be ok.

Tosca said she was peeping and enjoyed looking at the frosts on Pendle. t4591 She pretended to be asleep, but she is very adept at being able to see through very tiny slits in her eyes.................most puskins are. Sleek looked after her SO well, tending to all her comfort, especially her wobbly legs. Bless her t4591

Not sure when the trip to the forest is, but Kath will spot them, vanishing through the gate t115006 t115006

Brunch at the T rooms, then shopping, then put shopping away, then Skipton. Beatrice has a new battery, guaranteed for 3 years, her squeaks have been sorted, they said if it happens again, they will change all the pads, as they are guaranteed for life. She lit up on the way there, CHECK TYRE PRESSURES   :? :?

He did worry us a bit, having checked the tyre pressures, which are all at 29psi, he said one, was up at 41psi    -
I said no one but KFit have done the tyres, or the pressures, that is like dangerously high, no idea on earth how, or who, could have done that, tyres don't inflate themselves - we have to go back next week for a re check. All very odd.

Apart from that rather strange and slightly worrying info, Beatrice is fine, at least she warns you when she knows there is something amiss with the tyres.

Bless, poor Sleek doing her homework and falling asleep on the spell book, it might have been the sleepy spell  :lol: :animal_busy:

So the service was a little protracted I am guessing   :? :? I would have had to leave, with screeching back. I wonder what Rev D thought............ :? :?

Help yourself to as much fruit cake as you like, Paul, Kari, Lucy, everyone is welcome to munch away.

Hi Joan and Sue, B wears reading glasses to do his seed beading and other jewellery making. I could not even see them with glasses on and they would ping everywhere

Still no troosers, it is a mystery. We will find them, somewhere...........

(((()))) to you both and pats for the doggies too. Take care out and about, some warmer weather on the way for you m0150 m0150

Hi Barbara - so you have had trouble with t'internet, as it does, goes squiffy, for no reason. Ours occasionally just goes offline, on a whim, then comes back on after a while.

Glad you enjoyed the pancakes and fruit cake :) We are spoilt really, which is nice.
Strange that you could not see the first picture, I will have to remind myself which one it was

Ah yes, the one of the Old Rectory T rooms, where we are going on Wednesday. If you Google, The Old Rectory, Tosside - you will get to see it, a gorgeous spot, about 30 mins from us.

Sleek is loving the wig, from Mothers outfit and is ragging it to pieces as we speak :lol:

You are indeed, reading things right. Dad has lost the troosers he bought when we went to Skipton the other week. Gone, nowhere in sight

Good that you have changed your password on FB, I guess we are all at risk of being hacked at any point. We had our talktalk account hacked, as did so many people, giving whoever it was, our name, address, email and phone number. Thank goodness our bank details were not stolen.

It was straight there and back, to Skipton, oh, via the drive through car wash at Morrison's, so Beatrice is all clean again.

Good that Niamh is good with jigsaws, as you say, Autism often makes a very bright mind :)

Hope the bloods went ok t4591 t4591

Hi to Kath - hope any ouchies are improving, sending lots of hugs and special sparkles t4591 t115006 to help as much as they can.

The same for your lovely self Mig and for Carol.

Has the man been to quote for a new shower yet Carol? I don't like quotations, I dread looking at them   :?

Right. I will stop writing my dissertation and have another potter about, sort the washing, fuss a bit more, I think we are pretty immaculised ready for visitors.

Leaving lots of love and sparkles to everyone, in and about. t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 Take care XXXXX Aidan

That looks a healthy breakfast Aidan thank you very much :)

The girls didn't go out this morning so maybe today is the day they are going to Kath's then to see Silver?

    No frost though..hmmm

There is a HAT to go with!

Notre Dame?! No!! Oh fire is so dangerous and destructive

I hope the GC will be lovely today with friends o the site. We can recover from changes in plans....after a time

Good to hear Beatrice is ok, but did Kfit make a mistake? We you shall see if the pressure is 'normal' when you retest...… I', peased her shoes are ok and there's a plan B if they start squeaking again. Sleek said Mother's impersonations of them squeaking hurt her ears!

AS for the service he Rev D would smile oh so patiently because she is so very kind and tactful.....but I'm sure you could see a her eyes trying not to laugh!

At least we had the 'good' organist!

    Barbara
you'll have to 'up' the number of pieces to keep Niamh interested in the puzzles! she's a bright one isn't she?

Annoying when you can't get online and you don't know why. If you're like me you let it go one day, but the next you start ringing!

Kath I hope you are ok not suffering too much sending some more ((())) t115006 t115006 t115006

Boiler man came yesterday morning. Job all done - or so we thought - ubtil 4am this morning when the boiler came on!! He must have changed some settings (naughty naughty). The clock was all wrong, and so was the temperature. So I was standing on the landing putting the clock settings right. I could hardly stand and was half asleep. :?

It was a wonderful march past through my secret gate. Pusskins galore, all in their finery with musicians and choirs.I really enjoyed it. Then of course all those youthful people with neatly coiffureed haistyles. I'm glad youenjoyed my smashing family pics.Aunty Kath was so beautiful until the day she passed. Cousins Linda and Jill are just as glamorous as their mum.

We managed to get to the Co-op this morning, in spite of the early call. An elderly gentleman was a few yards in front of us. He fell over. Thankfully a lsdy pulled up in a car to help him. We felt bad that we couldn't help him too but we wouldn't have been much help. g045.gifg045.gif

Afternoon to all - it seems to be our turn for the t'interweb to mess about, been sat waiting for it to come back online

Family have not long gone, back to Tosside. We met them at our GC for lunch, which was very nice :) t4591 t4591 Then they went to gather some groceries and came back to ours for a couple of hours.

And breathe............immaculised before and after, so happy now. Touch of angina, so having a sit down for a moment or two.

We are going over to Tosside tomorrow, to see the lovely lodge that they are staying in, then to the Rectory for lunch............then home.

It was a healthy breakfast Toni, thought we should have at least one a month  :lol::lol:

Yes, the girls have been to Kath's and then to the forest, to meet up with Silver and catch up on mystical matters of importance t115006 t115006 :D:D I think there was quite a gathering of puskins from all over.

Up do is VERY nice, Bill likes it very much too, with his hairdresser hat one :D:D t4591 t4591

I am still in shock over the terrific fire at the Notre Dame, so glad that the three rose windows are intact, as are some priceless and irreplaceable artifacts. Such a terrible shame.
Million and millions of ££ have been given already, by wealthy businessmen and other companies, more than enough to bring her back to glory. t4591 t4591

I think I am recovered from the change of plans for today. I did the extra immaculising, so felt more settled............... :? :?

Mother does a very good impression of Beatrice and her squeal. She could shatter glass that puskin.
We will see, when we go back next week, if pressures are normal. We might just tippex the dust caps, then see if any are moved, just a small line.................

Bless, Poor Rev D, having to remain composed and appreciative of the service. I think Dad would have been the same, professional to their finger tips.

A good organist is essential, I used to love playing for the services. I went at the right speed, some can drag it out and some just gallop away and you cannot breathe...................   :lol: You play to the choir's pace

Sleek is coming over at siesta time, they have a new sleepy spell that they want to try out on me   :? :? then they can discuss the magical matters, that Silver was talking of t115006 t115006 they are not for hoomans eeers

Hi Joan and Sue. Glad your heating was fixed, that was good. At least it is getting warmer over the next few days. Trousers, well, we had them in the coffee shop, but they say they have not been handed in, Dad has looked and we have looked, his park home is not that big, but, he can loose things in a heartbeat   :lol:

Hi Kath, so the boiler man messed up your timings of the heating etc and you had to try and sort it at 4 in the morning...............goodness. I would have been half asleep as well.

You did have a procession of puskins from all over, some from distant lands, it must have been an important meeting in the forest.

Don't we all look gorgeous with our hair do's t4591 t4591 you are kind :) Well, Toni has had the up do, we have just had cuts :)

Oh, bless, the poor man who fell over, it is horrible when you cannot do something to help. Thanks to the lady who stopped and assisted.
I hope he is ok. t115006

I remember seeing a lady knocked over by a big 4 X 4 in LIDL car park   I went over as quick as I could, screeching at the lady to stop reversing. :!: :!:
Within 20 seconds there were other people to help, three of the four of us who were helping, were nurses, how rare would that be, all in the same place at the same time

Glad you went to the CO Op, did you have an ice cream to calm your nerves...........

Yes, Beatrice is all fixed and shiny clean. We have had a spot of rain, literally a spot.
Strange how one tyre was over inflated. I am guessing the last time it was checked, the person doing it, read the gauge wrong.........

Yes, family today, at the GC, then tomorrow at the Rectory T rooms, I will take some pics.

Here is a pic of our Niece and Nephew (he is face down into his phone  ) Niece was about to face plant into her hot chocolate with cream galore.......... t4591

Hi to all - Trusting that everyone is as ok as possible. I won't eat all the Caramel Pies - will leave the booth on standby..................

Sleek said Mummy was having some rests after beeing bizzy with hoooman thyngs.

Still not a word on any of the magical mysteries imparted by Silver. Mother is keeping very tight lipped :? :?

I hope you have managed to rest up a little, Toni, it has been a busy time recently, with choir, services, scarecrows, hair do's, best kept village.............steady away now. We don't want added ouchies sneaking in.

Hi to everyone else :) t4591

Quiet evening here, watched the final of Portrait Artist of the Year.........such talent.

Siesta was a bit hit and miss, one of those when you doze for five minutes and think you have been asleep for at least an hour :?  Rested the bones at least.

Picking Dad up then off to Tosside to nose at the lodge B's Bro and family are staying in, his other Bro and SIL are coming over from Huddersfield, to join the luncheon at The Rectory. I think we have eaten out every lunch this week

Will do a bit of shopping when we get back to home town, then we can have a day in on Thursday and some catch up time.

Time to do some more pottering about, make B a cuppa, he is busy doing something with wire at the moment................ :? :? ever creative.

Leaving lots of love and sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 t115006 Take care, will catch up later, probably very late...............

Excuse me talking with my face buried in Californian Sweet Potato Hash. Thank you Aidan. Tosside? I've heard of Mosside and Teeside, but Tosside is a new one on me. Yes, it was an amazing sight as every pusscat in the world came through our gate. Mother and Miss Sleek very kindly guided those who didn't know the way. I was so proud and honoured as they all bowed and curtsied towards me. I bowed back to acknowledge them. h050.gif

I have mixed feelings about Notre Dame. I know it's a really old building and very revered. But I'm shocked at the huge sums of money being thrown at it, when there are so many going hungry or even losing their lives and nobody seems to notice. g020.gif

Barbara, so sorry to hear your BIL is so poorly. Sending ((((hugs)))) for the whole family.

Joan and Sue, I know. There was no need him altering any settings - unless we asked him.

As it is so much warmer, I thought we'd have some Key Lime Vegan ice cream.

Key lime vegan ice cream!! Yum thanks Kath!

My issue about Notre Dane is more that people are doing the usual snivelling book posts! Half of them have never been!

Agree 100% people need feeding first though!

Joan it's not our shower its Kath and Carol both of them! My back is okish today not great thank you how are you doing? Xxx

Hi to all - finally, after quite a long day.

We didn't get in till 4.30, which is late for us to be out. Great time, love love love the Rectory T Room and the lodge that BIL SIL and youngsters were in, was fab u lous t4591 t4591

I guessed you would be in the booth Toni, covered in caramel cream pie :lol:
Enjoy the hash, super crunchy and yummy. Nu nu is working well now, the latest model I see, extra quiet but very efficient at gathering our crumbs :)

Our Niece is gorgeous, natural blond long hair, she is as tall as me and only 14
Nephew is hard to capture, he is head down on the phone, playing games, scrapping with his Sister   or delving into any food that is available :lol: he can eat a restaurant out of house and home and not put an ounce on..........................doesn't that just make you SO cross :? :? :?
I put weight on, looking at the menu :lol::lol:

Funny, our tv pic did some squiggly bits, it must be the weather.

We did enjoy Tosside, it is such a cute place. Here is another pic of the Vicarage

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/oLrJ5EWZ4YKm4Sgd6

Does not really do it justice, just overlooking miles of open fields with Pendle in the distance.

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/yUAy3bX2ecBHvUbH9

You have to wait a while for the food, as it is all cooked to order, home made and amazing. Well worth the wait, even if our Nephew said he was fading away   :lol:

I did see Sleek, with Mother in the side car, whizzing over the moorland, to check up on our whereabouts.............:lol:

Oh no, not dragging along when playing the organ, you have to keep a certain pace and with a slight lilt, if that makes sense. 90% of hymns are to uplift, not drag down.

I think Rev's are born with being able to cope with adversity and to be tolerant. t115006

We are thinking that the tyre episode, was a mistake from the last but one visit, when they were quite pushed for time...........one of the lads mis read the guage. All is ok at the moment and Bea wafted us over to Tosside, with aplomb :)

President Macron did say 5 years to restore the Notre Dame, but specialists are saying it could take 15 years.

I am with you and Kath, with mixed feelings about preserving the history and status of the Notre Dame, but the money that has appeared from nowhere, to the tune of hundreds and hundreds of millions, from personal fortunes and company donations.
When you see the poverty and homelessness, that is part of all cities and large towns, then you do think, ouch, some of that money could be used to help those less fortunate, with charities having to plead for donations.

We all arrived at the T room and I was last, of course, plodding along. B said, mind the step on the patio area to Dad and I...........ok, we will..........dad was in front of me..............you can guess what happened, down went dad, totally missed the step that B had said to mind. Fortunately he kind of rolled down and missed all the cast iron patio furniture   he didn't go with a crack. Everyone who was sat out, came to help him up and I checked he was ok. :? :?
He was ok, a bit shaken, but ok thank goodness.

Enjoy the warm weather :) m0150 m0150 it is getting hot over the next few days, poof and it is summer....................Steady away with that back, those ouchies are little horrors ((()))

Hi Joan and Sue, we had so much coffee at the Vicarage, I was wired, almost on the ceiling :lol::lol: three large caffettieres between us

It will be nice to have a day at home today, try and catch up a bit, washing, drying, fussing.....watering the garden..........

Our river is drying up rapidly, we have had no rain for weeks.

There you are Kath, I didn't recognise you with Hash tatties on your face  :lol::lol::lol:

Tosside is a million miles from Mosside   as far apart as the moon and earth. You would love it. We will all get on the bus, Toni will drive.

Sleek and Mother have been full of the "gathering" at your place, to go into the enchanted forest. It was quite an occasion. Glad you enjoyed the procession. I didn't expect there to be so many puskins there. t115006 t115006

Thank you for the vegan key lime ice cream, perfect for the warmer days. I would guess there will be sitting on your benches in the sunshine, with an ice cream or two :) m0150 m0150

Just in case there are ouchies...........I know, they are always lurking, we live with that fact...........some magic squares are under your cushions t115006 t115006

Hi Barbara - your poor BIL, is it fair to move him when he is so poorly, difficult to know what is for the best. Many hugs for you all and special prayers for your BIL ((())) t4591 t4591
It would be better for family to visit, if his Son lives only 5 mins away and you are so close too..............the right thing will be done.

We had a lovely day with family. Our Niece is gorgeous, 14 going on 30 :lol:

We have certainly eaten out, gosh, I am pogged, like, no, no more cake, please...............which is something I rarely say
It is nice though, to have it all done for you. The Vicarage is the cheapest of all the places to eat, yet you think it would be quite expensive.

You are more than welcome to as many hugs and sparkles as we can muster t4591 t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 t115006

My brain would not compute with jigsaws now, I would throw it out the window, or force pieces to fit :lol::lol: Good for Niamh, doing the difficult bits, bless her.

There is a raft of money out there Barbara, squillions of £££. I know that people who have worked and made their fortune can do what they want with it and a lot do give a lot to charity, which goes unreported.
The press don't make things better, they plaster it all over, how much this person, or that person has given, then say they are trying to get a place in Heaven................. :o

The keto diet must be one that I have not done..................would I stick to it, errrrm, no, I doubt it :?

I hope you are ok Carol, busy time, sorting the shower quotes etc. Time and days running away from us again. t4591

Hi to everyone else, in and about - I guess I should be pottering a bit. I am pretty chair shaped already, from being out and about.........

    Morning!
Lovely breakfast Aidan thanks......it came a long way!

I hope Dad is ok today not too bruised bless him. Typical to fall just after you're warned to be careful

I don't mind waiting for good food at all especially if it's been cooked freshly:)

    I think you're right about Bea's shoes...human error.

Sleek is full of admiration for the Rectory and the family's lodgings. Apparently it would be just right for small cats. ...such as themselves, but they decided they would rather live with their own Mummy and respective Daddies.

Nephews can eat tons when they are young so could you I bet at that age! Hollow legs! Come late 20's and that all stops

Barbara you taught Niamh how to to the edges and she can just carry on? She's bright that's for sure.

The hospice is ideal for BIL. He will be really really well looked after and the family can recover too.

Morning Joan. Another nice day ahead I think. Enjoy your walk with the doggie!

    Hi all
just to fill you in re my lack of post lately was a very busy weekend as usual Mr T was unwell with lower abdomen pain Radiating into the groin area. so rang 111 ended up about 6 hrs later with a visit from a emergency on call dr at 1.20am Tuesday morning and by 3am we were in A&E at the hospital he was admitted to the ward at 8.am and was discharged around 5pm last night, after being diagnosed with severe constipation caused by taking co-codamol prescribed by dr 3 weeks ago for Arthritis in his spine. so I have virtually lived at the hospital for the past 2 days except for sleeping on Tuesday evening. I
will pop in later again but this was just to update you in case you thought I had been spirited away like the hours and days that we loose.:lol: on the up side the weather here was lovely yesterday and is due to be even warmer today.

Hi to all - it is getting warmer.................stand by your fans Barbara, we could melt, over the week end

The breakfast did come a very long way Toni, way up in the northern isles, beautiful place, I remember it so fondly.

Dad has a small graze to his knee, no other injuries, my deputy matron B went round this morning, to carry on doing some of the garden, but he wasn't there long, Dad would not leave him alone to get on with it   :? :? So he thought it best to leave it...... :? :?

No, I didn't notice the time passing really, chatting and drinking copious amounts of coffee. It was only our Nephew who was fading away due to lack of food :? :?:lol:

Bea's shoes seem to be ok, but we will go back to Skipton next week (after the Bank Hols :? :? ) to have them checked again. He did say come in and we will re check everything.
Skipton will be full to bursting from tomorrow onwards, until Tuesday. There will be thousands and thousands of people, we never went into town on a B Holiday, in all the years I lived there. It is just madness. Good for trade though.

Mother said the lodge was uber swish and very posssshh and the rectory would be perfect to explore all the nooks and crannies. But, they both want to be with their Mum's and Dads. They will only move when we move.

Nephew and Niece both have hollow legs, would rather keep them a week than a fortnight, as my Mother used to say :lol:

They are off climbing one of the peaks, over that neck of the woods. Rather them than me...............

We will see them briefly in the morning, on their way back to London. The traffic will be terrible on the motorways, so they want to get away as soon as.

Enjoy the fine weather, has bessie bot, been "sorted" with her tubes etc.........

Hi Joan and Sue - hope you are having lots of good weather, it is going to be very warm over the next few days - not my fav time of year when it is hot.

Dad was a bit shaken, but he was soon back to his normal self and no injuries, which is a blessing.

Oh dear Carol, you have both had quite a time. Sorry to hear of Mr T having "troubles" from his pain relief. :? :? It is always a potential problem with analgesia, some are affected more than others, but it is something to bear in mind.

Sending lots of hugs to you both - I was thinking that you had opened the shed door and been smothered in weeks and days  t115006 t115006 t115006

The weather is certainly warmer, the dryer is on here, with the windows open, but still boiling hot. I thought condenser ones didn't chuck out loads of heat. Wrong !

Look forward to your catch up, as and when you can, as long as we know you are ok and Mr T is improving............

Now then Kath, we don't want you feeling all strange and out of sorts t2507 t2507 you will be needing more anti ouchies and lots more hugs t115006 t115006 (((())))

A trip to the Rectory would be of great benefit :) We could sit out on the patio area, as long as we MIND the step. :? :?

Thank you for the shrimp casserole, I will have some of that with crusty buttered baguettes :)

I hope you feel a bit more "hooman" very soon.................((()))

Hi to Barbara, how are you all. Has your BIL moved to the hospice yet? They will give excellent care and attention. Thoughts and prayers are with him and you all. ((())) t4591 t115006 t115006

Last load of washing done here, just the drying. Beds done by the mystery housekeeper (B).:lol:
Plants all sprinkled with food granules, all pots watered well, it is so dry. River is vanishing by the day, you could tippy toe across it and not get too wet. I would be very wet, not being the worlds best at going on tippy toes  :lol::lol:

I will have another potter, put the last lot of drying in.

Scrap that, I will save the drying till later, when it is cooler.

Lots of love and sparkles to everyone. Will call back later on. t4591 t115006 t115006 XXXXAidan

Hi to Toni - I trust you have the same fine weather in Sleeks village :) Said puskin is coming over to see Mother this morning, they fancy an early morning trip, around and about, some mist gathering, which will be extra special due to the full moon, then a latte with the Nymphs, at their T room. t115006 t115006

Hi Carol, hope you are ok and Mr T is improved and feeling better in himself. t4591 t4591 You will both need a bit of a rest. hospital is no place to get quality sleep, that's for sure.

Hi to everyone else, in and about. Enjoy the fine weather, makes a change I guess, to have so much sunshine, on a Bank Holiday week end.

Off round to Dads, where family will pop in, before they head off asap, back home to London. The roads are going to be jam packed   I don't envy them, it can take up to 6 hours
It has been lovely to see them, t4591 they are not back up until October :cry:

Then I think we will take dad to the GC, hopefully most people will want to sit in the sunshine m0150 (not my cup of T, being wrinkle phobic):lol: so we will have room inside for coffee etc.

Time I was pottering again. Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t4591 take care XXXX Aidan
