Will pop back later on. B has just informed me that he didn't manage to catch the Spi-- in the house bathroom, last night............Clarence, Florence, where are you
Aidan I think it might have been one of the trainees who is finding the work harder than he expected. C and F will get it sorted. Many thanks for the luxury cake, me tum's better, just my anxiety levels have hit the roof. What doesn't help is that Chris is just as ill as I am, and he looks after me so well. But I can't do a darn thing for him. It really upsets me. g045.gif It's not my doctor's suggestion to reduce. But while I wasn't feeling too good I thought I'd give it a try. It didn't work. a010.gif

Toni, I think I know how Charlie is feeling. I hope she soon finds a new love. Sometimes though, it's unimaginable. t4591

    Vegan Strawberry Jelly (no gelatin)

    FOR HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY JUICE
    2 cups Organic fresh Strawberries
    1.5 cup Water
    2 tablespoon Sugar
    FOR JELLY
    1/4 cup Sugar
    1 teaspoon Agar-Agar powder
    1/2 teaspoon Strawberry extract
    US Customary - Metric
    Instructions
TO MAKE STRAWBERRY JUICE - Wash strawberries and trim the top off.
    Fresh Strawberries
Combine strawberry, water, and 2 tablespoon sugar in a bowl.

Over medium heat, bring this mixture to a boil. Turn the heat down and continue to simmer for 40-50 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

Strawberries will lose its color during boiling.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean bowl. Use a spoon to press down on the strawberries to release all the juices.

The juice, in the end, should be clear. Strain again, if you see some pulp in the juice. This should yield about 1 cup of strawberry juice.

Assemble other ingredients - sugar and agar-agar powder.
    How to make Vegan Jello
Combine sugar, strawberry juice ( prepared earlier in the recipe), water and agar-agar in a pan. Whisk until completely dissolved.
    How to make Vegan Jello
Bring this mixture to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes on medium-low flame. Boil it to the point where you dip a spoon into it while cooking and it coats the spoon. Over boiling may result in rubber-like texture.Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry extract. This will mask the smell of agar-agar and add a depth of flavor.Tip - Many homemade jellies appear cloudy and hazy because of the particles left behind in the juice. You can correct this by filtering the liquid through a fine strainer. All the small/tiny particles will be collected in the strainer and you will end up with a crystal clear jelly.
Step by step homemade vegan jelly
Allow it to cool for few minutes. Keep stirring as agar-agar will start to set. Pour in glasses. Before setting, make sure that jelly has no bubbles on top because it will set with bubbles. Smoothen the top with a spoon and refrigerate.
    How to make Vegan Jello
Refrigerate until set. The color of jelly will depend on the color of the strawberries.

Enjoy chilled!! Or you can set the jelly in fancy molds, and enjoy!

Hi to all - sunshine and some very dark, looming clouds lurking :? :? Pleasant though

Glad we were not alone in having a bit of a chilly do last night Toni.

I see you have enjoyed "some" of the hash brown fritata :? :?:lol:
I will cook some more, just in case :lol:

I do remember the ones with sherbet in the sweet ciggies - used to choke me   :lol: Sherbet was never a favourite, the flying saucers, oooh, they made your tabs laugh as we said in Nottm.

Glad you like the vase - don't let on, but I dusted round it today, was I was passing, with cloth in hand - ssshhh. It is still in one piece

Paul rescued Pom and her GD from the Heaven's opening. Glad she is ok t4591 t4591

Funny how our puskins can spell Gok with no trouble. Cats are very quick at recovering from icky spells - Pepe was an exception and usually had to visit the Ve**..........  he was never any different, from being born. Delicate tummy disposition.

Good that Sleek understands the laws of life and those who have passed. Rainbow bridge is only a whisper away t115006 t115006

Throwing litter far and wide, soon distracted Miss Sleek, who batted it off the walls and into the hall   :lol:

Watch out for the skateboard, we don't want any accidents. Mother has sent the motor spell over. Not quite sure what size motor it is having   But Tosca has been studying Newton's Third Law of Motion :o:o:o

    Jet_engine_numbered.svg

Glad Charley is doing ok. t4591

Hi Joan and Sue and the lovely doggies, who I get mixed up with their names   :lol:
Tosca is the only puskin we have left with us now, she is a Ragdoll, as was her Son, the late great Pepelongstockings t115006 t115006

Angina has settled again thank you, there is no rhyme nor reason as to when it can cause some pain. It settles with my GTN spray, which is good.

Hi Barbara, it is rare that we can get here before the afternoon. Joan and Toni are early doors.

I have cooked some more Frittata, left it under the cake cooler for you. Goodness knows who ate it all :lol::lol: :? :? Yes, it was Toni and I................

Oh yes, posing with the sweety cigs,:lol::lol:

Yep, once you start decorating, it is like a non stop process then, as all the other rooms look a bit tired. Not that they are. They can wait a bit. Kitchen is next.

Sorry that your friend has had to go back into rehab on a couple of occasions. Not quite sure how they can decide that he has had enough time and that's it. Mental health is not quite so straightforward as to have a time limit.

Too few places for the needs of the people, the same as it is nationwide. There is a big push for proactive mental health care at the moment, so I hope he does not have to wait too long.

And your neighbour is still fighting, via the Solicitor. No, nothing is straightforward.  :? :?

I did dust round the new vase, very carefully................

So you were chilly last night as well - you wait, another week and we will be melting

Hi Kath, thank you for sorting Clarence and Florence, to come by and check our nooks and crannies. Said spid-- has not been seen again (yet)............Maybe the trainee did shoo the unwelcome guest away.

Glad you tum is feeling a lot better, that is good. I can totally sympathise with you, when you say your anxiety levels are sky high.
I remember you saying that Chris has a similar problem. Has the GP been involved with this? I know that there are limits to how much can be controlled with medication and they are loathed to give out pills these days, but, if there is a need, then there is a duty of care to help the patient to the best of their abilities.

I make no bones about needing my diazepam, anti depressants, or sleeping pills. My Consultants insisted that I have them, they want me as calm as possible.

Counselling helped to a point, it really did.

Maybe a word to your DN, or ask to see your GP. Maybe a double appointment would not go amiss. Don't be upset, you both help each other in more ways than you realise t4591 t4591

So reducing the fentanyl didn't work, but, it was not a medical suggestion, so don't be downhearted mi duck. Needs must. t115006 t115006

Strawberry jelly sounds like a great idea for a face planting session. I see there are lots, laid out, next to the booth. I am off there right now.................

Hopefully we will hear from Carol, to find out how her adventures with family went. Well, I trust t4591

Hi to everyone else, in and about.

Time I was pottering a bit. Heading to pill time too. Now, what goes well with Jelly? Custard, perfect, we can get into even more mess :lol::lol:

    Morning everyone :)

I am going to a Beetle drive this afternoon! never been to one before looks like fun ;) At least it's purely luck too no skill involved.

Blimey Aidan! Magic sparkles being spread far and wide by Tosca she is feeling very pleasantly disposed isn't she? Love the moon!

Sleek used to have help from Pepe with the physics classes at Hogwarts, but Tosca is even better! I couldn't make head nor tail of the technical drawing  :? The new motor is fabulous and Sleek is all over the place on it scaring the rabbits  Apparently, as Mother is not keen, she's taking the skateboard over to Tommy's to give him a spin - he'll love it!!

I'll just grab a few stuffed mushrooms quick before Kath comes over and swipes them then! I see one or two fresh frittatas too...yum :)

I didn't like flying saucers either for that reason, but I did like flavoured sherbet. We used to call it kayly (sp) dib dabs were yum. Kari and me were always trying to make fizzy drinks out of the stuff!!

Paul rescued The Rev and Gdaughter, Pom was in her own car, but blimey it chucked it down!!

Well done for dusting near the new vase. I have used blu-tac too like Barbara. Works for a good while.

The crème caramel was lovely definitely a face plant, but you need the booth on and extra long cycle as it's rather sticky :?

Aww Kath I'm Chris wouldn't feel that you should look after him he clearly adores you and sure he knows he's cared for by you ((()))

Breathing problems have only increased my anxiety incase that's relevant?

The trainees aren't quite as good as Clarence and Florence well of course not, but they'll get better with practise. Actually we have a fly problem n the village :x

Vegan strawberry jelly thank you it was lovely :)

Barbara you were nearly in in the morning!

I am sorry to hear your friend isn't getting much help now. The problem is that alcohol can often be a work in process sorting out the underlying cause is the answer. Funding grrr :(

It was coldish last night too, but as Aidan said we'll soon be complaining it's too hot!!

It was the Rev Delphine Paul took home with her GD the rain was torrential. Like a storm, but not after any sort of hot spell

Oddly enough parents did used to tell us off for 'smoking' our sweet cigs - odd that! What did you used to call sherbet that you bought in packets the 0z?

Good thing your youngest didn't get married same for Charley it makes things more expensive to sort out.

Are you going to come off the Alendronic Acid soon then Joan? horrible stuff. ((()))

Thanks Charley is still doing well. She's on night duty tonight.

We are off to the wedding venue to try the wedding food tonight! t4591

    Love to everyone

Even though we are both exhausted and in pain, we braved the looooong walk to the Co-op. The birds were busy in the shrubbery outside the community centre (where we sit to rest) so lovely, but we were glad to get back to our hovel.

Joan, how long have you been taking A Acid? Have you had a DEXA scan lately, if so is there an improvement in your bone strength?

Toni, we used to call sherbet Kali too. The flying saucers always made me cough. My favourite sweets were my gran's Radiance Toffees. Much nicer than the pretend ****. Thank you for your lovely comments about me and Chris. t4591

Aidan, yummy yummy those Potato and wild rice, stuffed mushrooms. Toni saved me a few. Thank you. Yes, I remember saying 'me tabs are laughing' I found the extra frittatas. :D
I'm back on my proper dose of Fentanyl, so feeling ok now.

    Vegan breakfast quesadilla

    Ingredients
    olive oil
    1/2 onion , diced
1 red bell pepper , diced
1 green bell pepper , diced
1 block extra firm tofu , pressed & crumbled into small bite-sized pieces
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon sea salt , more to taste
1-2 cups vegan cheese shreds , more if preferred
    3-4 10-inch tortillas

    Instructions
Heat 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, red bell pepper, green bell pepper. Sprinkle with salt. Sauté for 5-6 minutes, until veggies are tender. Remove from pan and set aside.
Wipe out the same pan and return to stove on medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil & stir in turmeric, garlic powder & cumin, combine well. Now add crumbled tofu and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until heated through and lightly browned. Taste for seasoning and add more as needed.
Heat a separate large non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. When heated, place one tortilla in the pan and heat for 30 seconds. Flip the tortilla and prepare to assemble. Add 1/4 cup cheese (or more) to half of the tortilla. Now add a layer of tofu eggs on top, then a layer of onions & peppers, and top with another 1/4 cup (or more) of cheese. Don't overfill. Fold over to close.
Lightly press down tortilla with the spatula. Cook for about 1 minute and flip. Cook other side for 1 1/2 minutes, or until cheese is melted & tortilla is lightly browned. Lightly press with spatula again. Be careful not to burn. Remove from pan. Place in oven on low heat to keep warm. Repeat process for remaining tortillas. Cut in half to serve.

Afternoon to all - just started to rain t111055 t111055

A beetle drive, not been to one of those in about 45 years   we had them occasionally in the Church Hall :) Hope you win Toni :)

Mother was certainly bestowing sparkles to the whole world, she said that the world needz itt t115006 and she is not wrong. :? :? I love the animation too t4591

Tosca is quite up on quantum physics and the origins of interstellar gases   WHO KNEW they taught that at Hogwarts, I think it was an "option" in her final year.

Sleek and Tommy will love whizzing about on her rocket pack skateboard - Mother was watching on the crystal ball, feeling quite queasy :lol::lol:

I did a few trays of Mushrooms, as they are a firm favourite in the cafe :)

Kayli Kali, yep, we called it the same thing, dib dabs, with a liquorice stick in them :lol:

We used to empty them into a glass then pour Coke on top, it was quite an eruption :lol::lol: much to Mothers horror at the mess

Paul did do more than his good deed, rescuing the Rector and GD. I think we are in for a deluge today and tomorrow - mind you, the reservoirs are dropping to super low levels so it is much needed.

I mixed the jelly and the creme caramel together, then face planted, so I was in the booth for quite a while

I am with you on the breathing issues, they do add to anxiety levels.

B has removed the wandering and illusive spi---, it was hiding behind his door stop   :? :?

A fly problem, in the village, have they been muck spreading, like they have round here, ooooh it makes your eyes water if the wind is in the wrong direction :o:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Glad Charley is doing well, back on nights tonight, a whole different world.

Ohh Ooo, off to the wedding venue to try out the food, I think we should all come with you, under the cloak, just to make sure everything is gorgeous :) t4591 t4591

Hi Joan and Sue - Ragdoll puskins are lovely, Mother is one of the oldest to have lived, over 19 years of age and still shrieking :lol:
Coffee and cakes were very nice, at the T rooms, thank you. (((()))) t4591

Hi Kath, that was a supreme effort to go on the walk to your benches, listening to the birds - we have some very talkative sparrows in our hawthorn hedges, then they all fall out with each other :lol::lol:

I am certain you are not in a hovel mi duck, it is always nice to be home.
I am glad you are feeling a lot better now, that is good to hear. :D:D

I knew you would be liking the mushrooms and you found the extra frittata's :)

Thank you for the quesadilla, they look wonderful t4591 t4591

Hi to Barbara, hope you are all ok - it is probably raining with you, seeing as we are not a million miles apart t111055 t111055

Looking forward to hearing about Caro's adventures :)

Well, I had better move, one of the neighbours wants to come and nosy at the changes we have made in the lounge - hope she hurries up or we will be napping :animal_busy: :animal_busy: :lol:

Will call back later. Love and Sparkles to everyone in and about t4591 t115006 t115006 XXXXX Aidan

    Evening all
We have had a fantastic time away with the family this weekend. We were back home yesterday around 3pm but the internet was playing up last night. The Christening went well on Sunday. Mr T took over 100 photos on his ipad of the event he is having trouble putting them on to as disc at the moment that we can send to granddaughter. I cannot show you any pictures as yet because my laptop is playing silly beggers with me tonight. I cannot remember how to get the pictures to post. those of you who are on face book may have seen a couple as I have changed my profile picture to one of me and our Graycie, and my cover photo to one of all grand children and partners and all great grandchildren. and as soon as I can make this laptop behave I will post some on here. I know. know Aidan Barbara and Toni have seen the fb ones as they have commented on them.
Clarence and Florence enjoyed their vacation Kath at the gates they did get a bit confused when they followed us to Canterbury on
Saturday Clarence was heard saying well I can't see any berries Found the hours in the kitchen Aidan think I need some more.
I hear the trainee Spid catchers were not as good as Florence and Clarence they are now back home and after thee holidays are ready to sort things out. hope you are all as well as can be

Well it is pottering time again I will be in again some more updates on the weekend and hopefully some pictures

    Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Hi to all - it is very t111055 t111055 t111055  won't need to water the garden for a day or so :? :?

Hi Barbara - I guessed you would be having the same weather - we need it though, the reservoir at Bolton is in dire need, almost empty.

We certainly are specialists in the testing of foods, we have diploma's and lots of certificates to prove it :lol: I have a degree in scone eating :lol:

I will join you with the mushrooms etc, I will use some veggie bacon, sounds delicious, is Mr B cooking ? Will there be chips too :D:D

There were only two people in the T room when we arrived  :? was it something we said   It soon filled up though, but we had our fav table, next to the cake counter :D:D I like to keep an eye on them all t4591

Beatrice has been fine, since I rang KwikFit and booked us in for this morning    They are going to do a leak test again. I swear that technology has a mind all of its own :? :? :?

We don't mind going, it is a while since we went over to Skipton, see our friends in Nero's and have more coffee and snacks. Pop in Boyes and B&M while we are there.

So you liked the sparkling moon - here's another one for you :)

    giphy.gif

I was super careful when I was dusting around the giant vase :? :?
We could all do with an SOS button I think :?

Hope you have had a nice time with Niamh and her Daddy :) Any more hoovering to be done :lol:

Hi Carol - welcome back from your little holiday. Glad you had a lovely time t4591
Straight back to the internet playing up
I had forgotten that Mr T was chief photographer for the Christening - at least the photo's are safe on his iPad, despite the difficulty in uploading them to a disc (google will have a solution).

Now your laptop is messing about - see, I said that technology had it's own mind
The pictures on FB are lovely, a few of us have seen them. Don't worry, if you want, I can upload the one on FB to show everyone on here :) Always glad to help.

Florence and Clarence are back in the fold too, having been to the Gates and not finding any Berries :lol::lol: You are welcome to the spare hours, I will send some more - we all need about 5 more hours in a day, that should be about right.

Good that you are both back home, safe and sound :) t4591

Hi Toni, how was your evening? Sleek was saying to Mother, that Mummy had been tays tying ickle bitts of fude :lol: I hope everything was up to par and delicious. We would gladly have come along to assist, especially with the sweet dishes :)

Mother and Sleek cast a sleepy spell at siesta time, so they could watch re runs of SYTTD with David Emanuel, their absolute Hero :)

Time I was moving my bones around, they are grouching. Pompholyx has suddenly started again, from nowhere    so I am slathering dermovate at every opportunity - bloomin things, they are big ones this time

Hi to everyone in and about.

I'll have some country spuds ta Aidan :) ta v muchly :D

Not some country air - yes indeed much spreading in abundance  That'll be the flies, but hopefully Clarence and Florence will sort them out :?

I didn't win the Beetle drive, but was certainly up there at the top of the leaderboard and won some gardening gloves in the raffle too :D

Loved the new moon and seeing Silver for the first time in forever!! The girls are going to take Tommy to meet him soon now he can behave in public  Not on the new skateboard though   Mother will have her eye on him of course. She is delaying passing on her quantum physics knowledge to him for a while. French lessons will do for now!

Won't be today though because they are totally into watching old David SYTTD recordings and Sleek has the sweets packed. MrsD will be joining them I believe.

I have been awake since 3.30 am and up since 4.30....sometimes you know you're flogging a dead horse  Luckily those tiny cream horns (with added rhoddas) will keep me going

A mixture of eating posh food late and not being able to take amitrip due to testing wines  Guess what? I know this will interest you! The rosé we chose was from DURAS!!! small world eh? Its was lovely. The veggie menu will also be vegan and would appeal to you having an MA in all things cullinary

Always best to get the table nearest the cake so you can peruse at your leisure  I suspect the tyre warning light is just Beatrice wanting a ride out to Skipton....

    Carol welcome home t69044

I am so glad you have had such a lovely time the pictures on FB are lovely you must be so proud of them all :)

I hope Mr T isn't getting toooo cross about his issues with his IPAD :?

We will all be glad to have Clarence and Florence back we have missed them. I have had a lot of flies so need their undercover staff to nip over discretely overnight

Barbara - the food was fabulous as I would expect at such a lovely venue. The service more than spot on if you can have that :?

That concoction on toast sounds totally YUM, but how on earth did you invent it???

Aww Niamh is staying overnight with her Daddy bless her t4591 . Does she sleep well?

Kath well done going for your walk it will have done you both good. That's how you spell Kali then :D None of us were keen of flying saucers then? I think I didn't like the sugar paper they were in either

Radiance toffees! Ooh lovely! Kari liked black jacks (not sure they are politically correct nowadays?) and rhubarb and custards.

Those vegan quesadillas sounds scrummy thanks :D

Joan I'm glad you're off the A Acid and hope it's done it's job for you :)

Thanks for the ((())) for Charley. How lovely one of Sue's carers planning her wedding too so exiting :)

Hooray, Carol is back. Must go and look at your photos on FB. I've treated F and C to some berries as they didn't find any. Strawbs, Rasps, Blues and Bils. But I think they prefer currants, probably because they look remarkably like flies. The trainees are all back in class for a heavy duty training session to prepare for Autumn. Their motto is like the scouts - Be Prepared. They also have a spanking new hooman disguise. e015.gif and so does Rosie. d050.gif

    Vegan Blueberry Pancakes

    ★★★★★

prep time: 5 MINUTES cook time: 20 MINUTES yield: 4 1X
    DESCRIPTION
VEGAN Blueberry Pancakes- this banana pancake recipe is easy to throw together and results in the BEST vegan pancakes ever!

    SCALE 1x2x3x
    INGREDIENTS
    1 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
    2 tablespoons of sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon of salt
    1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
    1 1/4 cup of non-dairy milk
1 tablespoon of coconut oil, melted
    1 banana, mashed
1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries, plus extra for topping
    Cooking spray for griddle
Pure maple syrup or agave for topping
    INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In a medium bowl, mix together the almond milk, coconut oil, and mashed banana.
Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Gently stir to combine.
Mix in the blueberries and mix.
Heat a griddle or skillet to medium heat. The trick with these pancakes is to cook them over a medium-low heat for a longer period of time. Mine took about 4-5 minutes on each side.
For large-ish pancakes, pour 1/2 cup of the batter onto the griddle. Once the bottom and sides have firmed up (about 2-3 minutes) flip the pancake. Cook for 4-5 minutes on the other side until a nice golden brown. Flip again and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the original side.
Once all done, top with blueberries and syrup and ENJOY!!

No blueberries were touched by no hoomans.

Afternoon to all - goodness, did someone put the heating on outside - it has gone very mild and humid all of a sudden   :? :?

Glad you enjoyed the country spuds Toni, very good for us :)

more spreading of the proverbial, was rather eye watering this morning :mrgreen: A sure welcome for the flies and all the seagulls that flock to the fields of poop   :? :?

Good that you were up on the Beetle Drive leader board and then won some gardening gloves, you can never have too many gloves :)

It was nice to see Silver, in rather a comical mood he was. Also the moon, rippling away :) Barbara will love it

Mother was speaking of a visit to the enchanted forest, all of them, off to see Silver and talk of magical things, that don't concern peeples t115006 t115006
Tommy is more than ready for a formal outing, to meet Silver, bless him he will be in awe and could faint, if he has any traits of Pepe long stockings :lol:

There has been much watching of SYTTD and a LOT of litter throwing

Yep, I used to be just the same, until they decided I had to sleep, albeit with a chemical kosh   As you say, eating lots of yummy things and having a tot or two of wine, then no amytrip...........all adds up to a sleepless night

We know Duras, t4591 t4591 how cools IS that, for the Rose to come from there, tote's amaze balls as they say in Essex :lol::lol:

Veggie / vegan of course. Thank you for echoing my culinary expertise  :lol::lol:

We arrived at KwikFit, with the alarm light coming on, about a mile from Skipton, (we said, I bet the tyre warning comes on) and so it did.
The valve was leaking again and the very edge of the allow was a teeny bit corroded, as can be expected over time. Anyway, an hour or more later, said wheel was ultra cleaned, sealed, new valve, no charge and off we went - touch wood, Bea is happy once more.

Naturally we went from there, into town and so to Nero's, for lots of coffee (maybe too much :? :? ) toasties and a rather nice cappucino cake (posted it on FB) :) It was lovely. Saw a friend who I used to work with, staff in Nero's always welcome us warmly. It was fairly quiet, with the weather being wet wet wet. Fine by us.
Then to B&M, then home. Mother has a new mustard fleece, for her bed in her Scandi lounge, she is most posh and knows it :lol: Two new mustard lampshades.........that was about it I think.

Oh, we went to Tesco too, so I could whizz about on a buggy, we were in and out in 10 mins flat.

Talking of sweets, I used to love raspberry ruffles and pear drops, both of them used to choke me, but it was worth it :lol::lol:

    Evening all

Thank you for your comments on the photos I have put on Face book I must admit I hear people say their kids don't visit them or they
never see their grand children. I do feel for them we are very lucky with our gang we do see them maybe not as often as we would like, and we do hear from them again perhaps not as often we should but we know they are there if they are needed. as likewise we are there for them when needed.
went to knitting yesterday and I could have cheerfully strangled my friend I was showing her the photo I put on fb of the grand kids and the littlies and she sad who is that pointing to my youngest GD so I told her who it was, and she said she needs to loose some weight. Now bearing in mind that this friend herself has put on loads of weight herself, she is bigger than me but insist she is not. Mr T saw her a few weeks ago as her passed her on the bus and remarked how big she had got and that he thought she was bigger than me. I was so :x :x :x

a Photo of me and said GD

Barbara yes it was quite a family gathering when I am able I will post a whole group photo taken outside the church of those at the christening. Mr T has 120 photos he has put on a memory stick for GD he posted it to her today. so None of his photos will be available to any one until she receives them. they are real beautiful photos. the ones I have so far have put on face book by others so I have loaded them onto my laptop.

Aidan glad Bea has been sorted out with no charge and is all happy again love the cappuccino cake looked really tasty.
ooh mother is being real posh in her little scandi lounge.:lol:
now pear drops I used to love those as a kid and still do now. Mr T i-pad is now behaving nicely as is my laptop as is the internet long may it last Memory stick with photos on as he could not record them on a disc has been sent to GD so when she has received them I can post some of his photos.
Glad F and C have had a treat I will have to buy them some currants for when Clarence visits for a treat so the trainees are on intensive training sounds as if they need it. loving the new hooman disguises too.

Joan Yes we had great weather really warm and sunny. and a great time and very busy.

Toni thank you for the welcome home its nice to be back. don't worry Clarence and Florence are on the way to sort the flies out. and any stray spid..s they will be wearing their new hooman disguises. yes I am proud of them all. No Mr T wasn't too bad he managed to put the photos on a memory stick they are now in the post to GD and of course we still have a copy of them all on his iPad

Hi to all - the house smells like a Balti House now   - having a veggie curry for supper was very tasty though - windows open wide today.

Mother is less than impressed, :? :? she rang Sleek and said that Daddy's had made her Scandi house all spycee :lol::lol:

Hi Barbara - Duras was not a million miles from where we lived in France, less than an hour away and a pleasant drive too t4591 t4591 Driving in France was never really a chore, empty roads for the main part, certainly off the main roads, you could go miles and not see another car.

Good choice of Rose wine I would say :)

Bea is happy again, for now. Let's hope they have finally sorted the problem. She was fine on the way home, will see how she is this morning.
Hope your car is sorted with minimum of fuss. Alarms can be a pain sometimes. I had a Nissan that would alarm as I was driving along

Glad you managed some cappucino cake. They are really nice, not had one before, a decent portion too. I tried to be polite and not shovel it in :? :lol: it didn't work :lol:

Another moon pic, yeah, why not eh :) t4591

    giphy.gif

Yes, Tosca has a mustard throw, to match the lampshades and cushions - she is too posh to speak now :animal_busy: :lol:

It has rained, the river is flowing again, you could not hop skip over the stones now

So Niamh has gone home, to return today, when GD picks her up. :)

Was it choir tonight - I hope you made it in time for some biccies :)

Hi Carol - sadly some families see very little of each other, people move on, move away, life takes different paths, all sorts of reasons. You love to keep in touch with your GC and GGC and see them as often as you can, which is lovely.

Oooh, your "friend" is treading on thin ice. Your GD looks just fine, she is very pretty and has no reason to worry at all. t4591 Unlike your friend, who was lucky not to be wearing her coffee  :lol::lol: how rude................

Who retired and made her Judge and Jury of how skinny everyone should be :? :? :? :x :x :x We will all give her a big angry look :D:D:D

    tumblr_p1begtkT1k1sowe88o1_400.gif

We can share some pear drops :) I will cough and need my inhalers

Good that the pictures are sorted, on a mem stick and en route to your GD's
i Pad and Laptop both behaving, the internet too, goodness, a triple whammy :lol:

Thank you for sharing the pictures, they are lovely t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Hi Toni, choir wan't mentioned, I assume that there was practice. Barbara was on her way, quick sticks, biscuits in hand :lol:

How is Whilemena, in full bloom now? Our little amethyst falls flowers are coming out, will take another picture today, if it isn't pouring down. t111055 t111055

Sleek is coming over, picking Mother up to go see the Nymphs and possibly gather some very thick mist, from Pendle. Lots of humidity to say the least :?

Are the judges for the BKV likely to appear at the week end? t69044 Hope there is an early warning system ready :D:D

Well, time I was pottering again.

Off to the GC this morning, pick Dad up en route. Some shopping for the week end and gather some more pills from the surgery.  Big order will go in for next week :?

Morning! I'll just take a couple of those crumpets thanks Aidan :)

Our pusskins are not keen on spices I heard all about it and Sleek has seen Tosca's mustard throw very nice indeed. Yes early doors collecting mists......fishy lattes with the nymphs  Sleek had another look at the rainbow droplet t115006 She loves seeing it t4591

Yes Duras is lovely Paul and I stayed in the big posh hotel once and had a 7 (yes 7!) course meal with another couple. In the end the owners sent us all off to bed

    The wine was divine!

Barbara did get to choir ok bless her just in time for cake! I wonder if our choir mistress has any idea why our singing improves after the break :?

Glad to hear Beatrice is feeling better again for now fingers crossed. Always nice to go to Nero's and see an old friend lovely :)

    I love the angry birds!!

Will try to get you a Wilhelmina pic later.....

BKV judges can come any day from tomorrow so on best behaviour!! The gardening gloves will get plenty of use!

Tommy will very likely faint he is a lot like Pepelongstockings and has already been on catazon to find some clothes for the event! He doesn't have much pocket money, but saves it up :animal_busy:

Enjoy the GC hope Dad is ok. Our repeats are going in for next week too.

Carol that GD I had spotted in the original pic (like this one though of the two of you :) ) and thought what a pretty girl she is!! Your friend is very very rude and probably only said it as she knows she's put weight on

    s035.gif

Lovely to see you with GS and his two and those little ones they are adorable :)

PROUD of them all is what you are and definitely should be t4591 Lovely to know you are there for each other.

Well done Mr T getting pics printed and off to them :) Some of the flies have already gone!! I see a couple of webs so am avoiding them as I assume Clarence and Florence have it all in hand.

So the concoction was off the net Barbara....can we make it veggie though yes we can!

The wine is from a Bastide with a fabulous Château near his old place. I might have a pic....

Did you enjoy your cherry and almond cake at choir?

I just bet Niamh adores sleeping with her Daddy such a shame they have to grow up!

Kath what about that disguise for Rosie!! People would pick her up and cuddle her!!

Training and update sessions for everyone and new disguises that's good. We have had some help here with our fly problem  shudder!

What is this delectable delight you have for us?

pancakes lovely and vegan to and one of our 5 a day thrown in! Thank you :)

Joan and Sue I hope you have a good day out and lunch too with NO washing up!!! :D:D:D

So Barbara enjoyed the blubbery :?: pancakes. Not too rubbery I hope Barbara. :D

Toni, I think Rosie deliberately picked her new hooman desguise because of the CUTE factor. She is a bit of a minx, so she might have her eye on one of the trainees. I haven't seen them all, but she often mentions one called Sid or as she puts it, "Sid SIGH". So Sid the Spid had better watch out. You know what lady spids do to their men.

Carol, smashing photos. All your girls are exactly the right size, and so beautiful.

Aidan, thank you for the moon and the Cheese and Apple Crumpets . I'm joining in with the angry look. s010.gif

Sue I bet Pepper loves Saturdays too.

Vegan Mixed Vegetable and Almond Crumble
    Ingredients
75 g plain or wholemeal flour or a mixture
    1 tsp dried oregano
    30 g dairy-free spread chilled
350 g tomato and chilli sauce sub with tomato sauce and 1/2 tsp chilli powder
350 g frozen grilled vegetable mix
    115 g baby spinach
    10 g whole almonds chopped
    Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Put the flour and oregano in a bowl and dot in the spread with a knife. Using floured hands work the spread into the flour to give a crumbly consistency.

Tip the tomato and chilli sauce and frozen grilled vegetable mix into a saucepan and cook gently for about 5 minutes until heated through. Stir in 4 tbsp water and the spinach and cook for a couple of minutes, stirring until the spinach has wilted.
Tip into a shallow baking dish and spoon the crumble mixture on top. Sprinkle with the almonds and bake for 30 minutes until golden. Delicious served with dressed salad leaves.

Afternoon to all - rather warm and humid, but thankfully a breeze

Opened the curtains this morning, thought, that is an ambulance ramp - next door, paramedics there, Mandy with severe chest pain. Other neighbours on the far side were there and the crew were ready to get M into the Ambulance, she didn't see me as her eyes were shut due to the pain :? :? :?
Son came back from work, he came round and said M wants you - so off i toddle, they had to put the ramp down for me, to get in. I stopped with her for a little while, with her inhaling entonox. I knew the symptoms were the same as some years back and told one of the paramedics - the fear in her eyes and behaviour was exactly the same.:cry:

Second ambulance came, as they had the morphine supplies. She didn't want me to go, bless her. I said they will be looking after you and I am in the way now, you need to have the pain relief asap and get to the Cardiac Unit ASAP.

They went. Son followed on, he text me after an hour or so, confirmed, another heart attack and she is in the angio suite having cardiac cath and stents most likely. Have not heard any more since...................... t4591 t115006 t115006 Thoughts and prayers for Mandy, please and thank you t4591 t4591

    Bless you Kath - t4591 t4591 t4591

Mandy is ok, she has had two stents put in and they said her heart is beating better now, than it has in a long time. Goodness, so glad she is ok and in the right place.
Wonder if the Cardiologist that I saw the other week, did the stenting, he is very proactive.

We will go up and see her over the week end, she has to stay in 3 - 5 days. t2507
