Would't that be lovelly to be able to wear nice summer clothes. I'm sure as you have been good that you would have lost some. Keep on at it as I am.

See you on Monday for the weigh in, fingers crossed.

    Hi Cath,

I'm with you on that one, I don't think It would look very nice for other people to see me in a swim suit. I'm just coming up for 52. Not a pretty site.

Maybe once I've lost 2 stone, and that's only a maybe.

Morning fellow dieters , I posted once but lost it . Has some of you know I had my 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday and had a lovely meal , had a shower 2 hours later and had a rash all over my body , in the night I had a bad head and sore throat and my lips swelled up. So this morning i rang the rhuemy nurse but they where busy , the receptionist told me to stop taking it but could'nt tell me anything else, so now i dont know what is going on .
Then I got weighed and would you believe it i have put 3 pounds on I cant believe it . I can only hope it is because i am swelled up , I do hope so .
I am so fedup , sorry for the rant .
I have read your posts and you are all doing well , well done , I will see you all next week when i hope I have sorted it out and lost some weight .............jillyxx

Hi Jilly - sorry that you have had this horrid rash and all the other stuff, Don't think it should be a receptionist telling you to stop meds though! Don't worry about the weight as you say its probably because you are swollen. The important thing is to get yourself right and meds sorted - you can sort the weight out later
    You take care

jilly. sounds like you have had an allergic reaction and your weight will go up as you swell and hold fluid, once the reaction settles back down it will go down again, have you seen anyone as you should be on antihystermines at least, especially with the rash and swelling, ring your drs and get seen hun, hope you get sorted soon xxx

    Hi Jilly,

As Coco and Cath have said it's the swelling, once you get to the docs and they get you sorted out that extra bit of weight will be gone plus more probably. Don't worry. You poor thing must be very uncomfortable for you.
Hope they get you sorted out soon, sending big hugs to you.

    Low cal fish stew.

Please note this dish is absolutely delicious. I added three small potatoes, all diced up and used crushed coriander rather than fresh. There's enough for three smaller appetites. I used three small fillets from a pack of 'value' white fish.

    8) It's a grin, honest!

I've done my usual, bran flakes for brekkie, yogurt, 2 small mousses for lunch with another bowl of bran flakes for tea. Really exciting stuff eh.
Just got to tired to think of something for myself.

Karen i have days like that, i have even been known to forget to eat some days then wonder why im starving late at night, at least your eating and thats what counts.

my friend did toast whilst i was at hers this morning and bribed me to eat a couple with a ton of marmite on it (she knows i luv marmite, could eat it on its own yum) then the kids needed feeding, the easiest is a jacket spud and let them do there own filling. simple. couldnt be bothered to mess about either

i hope you feel a bit beter soon xx

    Well Coco,

I've been naughty, had a chinese tonight. Not loads of it, my stomach doesn't like me overfilling it. Back to being really good tomorrow.
