    I have had treat night as well been to pub with one of my oldest friends and had a few drinks and a meal.......Oh well tomorrow is another day!

    Lets be honest we can't be good all the time, there must be a treat every so often. I put on a top today which I wore 3 weeks ago and I certainly felt a lot more comfortable it. :grin:

    Yep unfortunately life has to be lived and I dont want to be a party pooper Lol! I will be good now until monday ( I think) - and probably cry when I get weighed and haven't lost anything - I saw a lady on Local News last night who has lost 20 stone - yes 20 stone!!!!! took her 5 years through slimming world!

    Hi Everyone, Would like to join in as this is just up my street -
    Have been dieting - or as I prefer to say - been on a healthy eating programme - since April 2010 when I weighed 16st 2lb.
    The doctors continually berated me about losing the weight. Being Diabetic and also born Spina Bifida so having a somewhat weak spine and now with AS it took a while before I decided that it was the best thing to do. Now weigh 14st and am making 13st my first target and most prob a bit more after that.
    I am doing the VERY old WW combined with Calorie Counting and allow myself 1000 per day which is quite sufficient for me as I am quite sedentary. I weigh 90% of all my food to make sure that the count is as near as poss and TRY to keep the carbs as low as poss but not very successful at that....

    Hope I haven't sent you all off to sleep.... :lol:

    welcome to the club, you will be made more than welcome by everyone were a friendly bunch so just join in and any ideas or tips you have please share. you have done well so far and i hope you reach your first target soon, it is early days for a lot of us but were helping each other along, were all doing diferent diets also.

    make your self at home, you can catch some of us in the caffe also.

    no one runs for the hills here or judges so once again wellcome.

    hi welcome from me and well done on loosing what u have so far healthy eating is what we trying we do cheat a little but as most of us have a long way to go we have to have plan that can last a life time more exercise less sweets/chocolate ect we will get there so glad to have you with us val

    Hi Charrisse,

    Welcome to the diet club, I only joined 3 weeks this coming monday, and have lost 4 lb to date. Glad to have you on board, we all cheer each other on weigh in is on mondays and last of all, good luck although you are doing really well already.

    Was back up to 15.5 last w/e, now 15 and about 3/4 pounds, the swings and roundabouts eh!

    Must dash, babe has found some dust, eeeekkkkk!

    You have done really well, congratulations and welcome. I have been a bit naughty this week - i need to lose 2 stone but its slow work, so far since the club started I have lost 3lb. hope to see you around the site

    Thanks for the welcome everybody.
    I do have a particular theory that I have adopted on this journey - there are no such things as "naughty" days or "bad" foods or all those other things that are usually tagged onto being on a "diet"!
    I am on a "healthy eating" programme and anything I do is a "choice" that I make. If I have a blip then that is just being human - none of us are able to do things perfectly so there is no need to berate ourselves over a choice to eat that cream cake or choc biscuit. If we accept that we can then be more relaxed which is much better for losing weight and be in a much better frame of mind to get back to it a.s.a.p.

    (sermon over)...lol!

    I am away tomorrow till thursday so I hope you don't mind, I have weighed myself today. I have lost another 2 lb, so I pleased, hope you all get on ok tomorrow. We're up to OH's parents, who live in mablethorpe, so I will try and be good.

    Ah bless Val Its not that I haven't been trying - just temptation in the way - went to sis yesterday and we all ended up having fish and chips in garden with her grandkids in paddling pool! on the positive side refused Mc***** breakfast this morning whhen colleagues had one!

    As Val said you must not dread being weighed. You are allowed to have treats and you did resist the macci d, so don't be so hard on yourself.

    Lost another pound today so that puts me in the 13's - actually 13st 13lbs But hey! haven't been there in yonks!!

    Hi fellow dieters , well got weighed and I am still 2 pounds over what i had lost so i am on my way back down . My hands and feet are really swollen and i feel horrible .
    I had a call from the hospital friday, they asked me to go for another blood test because my white blood cell count was down ,the rash has gone now and the headaches gone to, seems i have had a bad alergic reaction to the sulfa med. So it is going to be 12th May before i see the rhumey nurse again . It seems to take a long time sorting all this out. So see you all next week , i had better of lost . ..............jilly

    just wondered how everyone is doing? ive had a couple of iffy days u know, women, that time and chocolate, oh well there is always tommorow, hope everyone else is doing better than me. good luck and have a good weekend.

    Don't worry. I remember what's it's like, the cravings are very strong. I am lucky that I am over mine now.

    As I said, even if you don't lose, that's ok.
