    Hi Cris

Just wanted to echo what everyone is saying here - please ask to see a doctor today about your legs, this doesn't sound like something you can sort out yourself.

    Love, blue skies & sunshine

    Hi All,

    sorry i am so late.....

i did phone the doc..... no appointments today and couldn't even get a phone appointment till tomorrow......

it is the same as last time it reacted to the drip..... its getting better colour, goes down a fair bit with rest..... guess that would tell me a thing or too if i had even one brain cell (oh Legs where did it go... last seem the chicken had it and well.... )

have taken it a bit easy... it will pass ... Toni was it about 10 days last time d you remember?

oh the bed turner is arriving... in a gale and 6 foot of mud  but will it help...

oh i have the appointment for the back specialist on the 18th of Jan  its probably time for a gibbet cus the lumer has had just about enough and filed for the decree nisa ........................... i wish it would

    the neck as well......

i am some teasy today and can hardly see but here is the ultimate fear faced.... i talked to the c'wall blind association...... they are going to try and help with the deadlock over who is exactly is holding the file that says optic nerve..... the eye dept say its the brain and the brain dept say its the eyes.....

    as ever nothing is done....

right i shall drag my teasy useless crap broken body out into the a force 7 and scream at the fates... with venom!!!!!!!!

love and hugs and i promise to chuck away the box of horrible life shampoo and teasy flakes..... Cris xxxx

oh, oh, oh just spoken to Toni...... they are coming to see thwe lights :grin::grin: she said she was going to tell me another day... but.... she thought i needed it today  xx

I reckon you've found your brain cell and it's brother .....how do I know??????.....the proof was when you rang the docs for help and also the blind association. Well done, Cris, that must have taken a lot of courage as it's never easy asking for help.

I'm glad your legs are getting a better colour and the swelling gradually reducing. It might be a idea to rig up a bed on wheels with a motor to trundle out to the lodgers and employers and sort them out from your bed in a resting position!!!

    Take care flower x:-D Love,

oh I have this wonderful mental picture now - made even more hilarious as I have seen exactly where Cris lives  and how the employers and lodgers behave

Cris my friend I'm so very proud of you. I know I've been a nag lately, but I can see that we were both thinking on similar lines.

Well done my friend, and I'm so pleased that tomorrow you'll get something sorted at long last

hugs, a keep warm cuppa, and a tanker of 'electric behave' in case of another storm.

    hi Leg and Wonky,

you know it was difficult.... to actually face that fear of possible impaired vision for good.... as you know for now mine comes and goes a bit though each time it does a little more damage.....

i was when i went to OPD.... they had a stall and were selling raffle books etc..... i have always donated (kinda think its a good idea that i do  ) but this time i asked them for a leaflet.... she said is it for you... i actually said yes. we then talked about what is wrong and the lovely failing T!!! with its eye dept  good to know its not just me who doesn't get much there

they rang me on Friday and have sent some stuff... as good a their word t arrived today and it was so easy to read

mine i had to go up to the letter box in the front field (the bleakest pace for miles) in a force 6-7 and the Zulu's singing in the wries...... oh and the rain but they had sent some info and will ring to see if any of the things there would help me.....

the bed turner... not sure it ill help but its worth a go as i can no longer turn and this waking in the beached whale costume is so boring

you both sleep well and Legs.... have agreed to pay the chicken a hot mash in return for the brain cell so we might get it back yet  Cris xxx

he said to stay warm and rest them a bit while using them as well but raise them both at night and when sitting down, which i should try and do more than stand just now.

you all stay warm us its cold without he wind.... with it .... even the sheep wont come out their house today and they have big thick coats on

    hi DD

hope work went ok and your warm enough.... i tell you the 2 Davids are really dong 'life in the freezer... part 2' here just now.... my lot are auditoning for the parts of the polars and the penguins....

surps is def foveate for the part of a seal and Haz might have made the grade as a killer whale..... the sheep are the polars cus from behind they kind of look like them.... just think veggie meat eaters  thats my idea of a good world :lol:

me i am doing the frozen swamp monster and at least i am a bit less teasey

hope your not too bad after the fall... least here there are so many soft landings  ((((( ))))) and tea xx

    Hi Val,

so appreciate your font change... your a treasure you know!

hope she will join the site (its horrid to not be able to sleep for pain eh?!) and its good when you have a decent apartment but.....

the first time i saw the pain doc i didn't like her too much.... now she and i get on really well and have a good joke about the left over botox.....she says its hers

so maybe you and the rumo will get on better with a bit of time? as long as he is helping you its good..... i so hope it will help to keep the flares down a bit cus they are no joke.

the turner thing... its got a bit that goes under the mattress and then a bit that comes up the side of the bed. i think some are handles and some are kinda of frames. you then grab the rail and pull.....

it might help except i not sure i can reach it to pull in the first place.

thinking i might make some rails for the side of the bed..... they also might help cus in a half paralyzed state of oaching i almost fell out the other morning and cus its already raised up to hip height its a long y to fall... mind would land on Gimpy cus he tends to sleep beside the bed....

don't think he would after i landed on him though he does despite me putting my feet in his ear now and then looking for the slippers....

you get a good night and leaving you tea and a ((((( ))))) xx

its been a long day... the weather is horrid. people used to say we get it light in winter.... oh yeah....

there winds are normally high and the rain... well you know its a s bad in mud as it is snow for me to walk in.... moan, moan, moan.... its my homeland and i shouldn't put it down this much its just the rain has been relentless now for (Louise is really this long?!) 6 or 8 weeks now...... the gales are no joke in an open pace either...... wish Benjamin would hurry up and get the wall that don't move :lol: he would rather play at being a slipper

the lumber is so bad still... the neck isn't far behind it and well i think this is now ho it will stay till the next 'get worse' time..... i see the back OT on the 18th of Jan and actually have a letter with an appointment in that i left in the car..... assumed it was for that but its from T not B so i really will open it tomorrow.... it might be important and not what i assume i already know......

there is something pending after a horrid test yesterday but that would be too quick..... she dd say t would want to see me fairly soon with the results. hell they couldn't be this quick if they were on fire.... in mean its T not a good place

in fairness the staff are lovely and with the lack of moral its so much to their credit eh?!

hell here am i wondering off too....

tomorrow if the winds have dropped the hawthorn will be finished.....

oh the legs are a bit better today and i got more energy so there you go some good news....

thermals (Julie!) socks and the big heavy tog ones at that have really helped..... might even get the hunters on tomorrow

you all sleep well and leaving tea and hugs ans well as an assortment of better days, make you better, pain away and energy buckets. Cris xx

    Hi Cris,
Well done I am so proud of you for going to the stall and getting things started. I know it has been a big step for you but definitely the right one.
Brilliant that Toni is coming to see you and the lights will look fantastic as always. Great that your legs are beginning to get some colour back, I think last time it took a week or so before you really felt the difference?
I hope the OT home visit is due very soon. Hey you might even be offered the beginnings of a concrete base outside your door to make it easier to get in and out without the mud monster grabbing you!!

Love to Sid and co and I hope the birthday girl enjoyed her day.
    Hugs as always,

    Hi Cris,
Shout Happy Birthday from me !! Hey you will soon have a stroppy teenager there. x:lol:
Yikes five galloping horses coming straight at you, they make such a noise with their hoofs too. Yep there is a lot to be said about not realising the dangers we put ourselves in. Did you say they are leaving soon? You will miss them but at least you wont have to worry about the electric fencing for a while.
Well that is good news getting the ramp sorted, it is a start anyway. It sounds rough down your way, the winds have eased here but there is snow forecast before weekend. It sure is cold after the mild November. Burrr!

    hi I,

oh there is a normal gale just now but he gets bigger they say.... this bit got the red warning on it which ever way the dam goes  there is a lot to be said to live this high with nothing to protect you i a beautiful sunny day..... there are other things to say about this weather but they would all be deleted  #

you know i honestly have had this huge worry lifted cus she is now 12 and we have got past that horrible 11 years old thing the other 3 left behind them.....

my old girl was almost 12 but Wish.... she was the delicate flower and she wan;t the one i expected to get to this age! so glad and likely to become a sheep bore (if i haven't already) cus of it.....

they were a bit overzealous today  bearing in mind both Primmy and Flo think they can still bounce me (they have been too humanised  ) and the amount of hail and wet under their hooves but the only thing i could think of is I didn't have steel toe caps.... like the feet were the only bit going to get hurt if they slide :lol:

how you keeping my friend and is the pc any better? hugs and a bucket of tea with side dish of shhhhsh  xx

oh the lodgers owner das he would take them round Christmas.... or after..... the mud is so bad in the bits the congriget in .... this outside my windows cus they like looking in...... i will miss them but they do so much damage with their feet to the ground..... horses poach it and they rally do.....

Cris....Please say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to wish, bless her little woolly coat (normally you would say cotton socks)

Thankyou cris for all the advice you gave me on trying to keep this stump warm.

It really is difficult to do when wearing the leg as I cannot wear a sock underneath the liner, The liner is a gel one. But I will try the heat cream you mentioned And an adapted thermal sock when not wearing the leg.(ie in the evenings and now as i am not able to wear it)
It is so very Icy cold when the leg is removed x:roll:
I am also looking at long thermals and will adapt those too (well rich will, he is good with scissors)

Hope all the bad weather has now died down and you are able to tackle the hawthorn and put up your lights.
(hope you are wearing a protective suit and goggles)

to a lovely lady i send ((((((())))) and a large cuppa..

    Love Juliepf xx
