    thanks Sticky mi dear
Hileena.. Not home yet hun. Luckily we run a caravan here in skeggy and it's empty right now otherwise it would be the sofa bed at mum's, that's not brilliant for me to be honest..
We have brought our two mattress toppers from our spare room at home with us lol. This bed at the caravan is wonderful now.. :D
Every joint that has ever bothered me is currently treating me as the enemy
Hands are swelling a little but the rest just hurts...
It's a good job I loves mi mamma n papa.. Lol
Fols, just seen your post hun. Thank you.. :D
We had a lovely tea of roasted duck and potatoes done with sea salt and black pepper. I'm ashamed to say I over cooked it
Not used to this oven. Lol
Watched some dog the bounty hunter, what a pollock, haha.. Goya love him he's that much of an ar$e.. Lol
Now in bed, tried to sleep already but the pain is too much yet. Hoping the patches (2x 25 fentanyl as I've run out of fifties) that I replaced this afternoon will kick in with the diclofenac I've just had. I didn't want to take more diazepam..
I will try sleep again soon though

You are cooking on top of everything else  Tony, you are a good guy but it is for occasions such as these that takeaways and ready meals were invented. You have a serious disease, mate. Start believing it.

OK lecture over. I hope you do all manage to get back home safe, sound and in relatively good working order. Your Dad will feel so much better, I'm sure you will and I'm starting to feel I will too  ((()))

    morning everyone.
I ended up resorting to a diazepam in the end, but at least I slept lol.
I'm just about coming around now..
Janet spoke to dad this morning, he had a rough night so dunno what's going to happen.. Will find out when we go at two today. Think they will keep him a but longer. To be honest I'd be happier if they did as he's not quite right.
I think we will be here till sunday now.
I couldn't leave mum having to travel that far each day to see him anyway.

Sticky, thanks hun.. I really wanted to do something nice for Janet so cooking tea was the idea, would have been much better if it hadn't burnt a little lol.
She does so much for me I just wanted to let her sit down while I made tea for a change. Probably picked a terrible time to do it eh? Lol
Apart from that though hun, I'm resting I promise.
Hope you're doing ok and that no wires were damaged during your fall
 Xx some YBH's for ya :D

    my dad rang earlier.
They've sent him for a ct scan. Something they were going to do tuesday but the surgeon insisted he didn't need it.. Wazzock
They said they're making sure there's nothing more sinister going on
We are off to see him soon. The results will be back later today.
I'm a tad more worried than I already was now..

I knew he wouldn't be home today....
    Will post later.

Oh Tony, I'm sorry it's not better news.
    At least they're being thorough.
I know it's hard under the circumstances, but try not to get too stressed, or over do it.
    Take care of you.

    thank you Mig.
Got basic results from scan. They said that nothing jumped out at them but have to wait till specialist checks it.
Dad was really out if it today, he's only on mild pain relief so it must be the infection.

I'm sorry he's still so bad, Tony, though at least the early news on the scan is good. I hope he'll have picked up a bit by tomorrow. (())

thanks Sticky, Colin & the gang..

I've had a call from my Aunty in Leeds.. My Grandma has been taken into hospital tonight. She's 92.. She has had an infection in her leg on and off for years since having a cancer removed.. It's back again plus she's got a pretty bad bed sore on her back.
I feel like I'm swimming against the bleeding tide right now..
I adore my grandma.. I'm worried sick now.

Aww Tony, It makes you wonder what else life can throw at you. You are well aware that this stress is not ideal for you but to tell you not to do it is very probably a waste of time.
What I will tell you is that you can really do nothing for your Dad or your Gran. You certainly can't be in two places at once.
Give yourself a good talking to Yorkshire Lad......you being worse doesn't help anyone. Just rest as much as possible and try to relax.
I know how worried you will be about your Dad. At least now he's had the scan and what needs to be done will be.
    I hope you had a reasonable night.....May
