Dad is doing really well and is managing to eat ok so that's a big relief..

I've just caught up again Tony.....I'm so pleased that things seem to be getting better for your Dad at least.
You expected payback and you've got it so now I can only hope it doesn't last too long for you.
I'm away from early Monday so lets hope when I come back you've been a good Yokshire lad and had plenty of rest.....without the stress you've had. Take care....May

Went to a bbq today but just sat indoors with mi feet up having bits brought to me. Was very anti social, in too much pain to really enjoy it.. :roll:
Never mind though.. A very wise friend once told me it will pass, all things do I'm sure she knows who she is lol..

BBQs eh? Yup I normally sit and have stuff brought to me too. Unfortunately, Mr SW tends to bring all the stuff he likes rather than the stuff I like. But it's OK as he then, kindly, eats it on my behalf :roll:

Yeay, so pleased to hear your Dad has picked up - great news and now back to focusing on making you feel good again. I hope things ease up soon and you can feel some respite from what must have been one hell of a time. As for lording it up at a BBQ and getting food brought to you...absolutely nothing wrong with being waited on hand and foot from time to time. You reap what you sow and I think you have sown quite a lot of effort recently. Take good care of yourself LVxx

Me and Janet sat in the back garden last night and had our own little bbq.. Very nice indeed
This flare up hit me quite bad today. I got up and took Janet to work this morning and had to come straight back to bed. Tried my utmost to wake around lunch time but the pain and exhaustion won :roll:

Spoke to Dad earlier.. They've removed the cannula in his neck and placed it in the back of his hand, the physio team are very happy with him, the stoma nurse is too.
We've been really worried about how breathless he's been, they're doing another ECG and have mentioned his potassium levels aren't great..
His surgeon is going to do another CT scan.. He's impressed with dad's progress..

I went to see my Grandma yesterday, we are very worried about her. She's not eating or drinking much. They did an MRI (FINALLY!) on the open sore in her back.. It has gone through to the bone.. She's on strong anti biotics but I know it's extremely difficult to get rid of once it's in the bone... I hope she's alright bless her.. She's ninety two but a real fighter..

Right, the elbows a1 screaming at me, so is my neck do thought typing for now. Thank you all..

I finally am going to go and have the ultra sound scans on hands n elbows tomorrow, canceled it twice whilst in skeggy. No sign of my next rheumy appointment yet. Might chase it up, want them to look at the shoulders and neck, they're not settling down at all.
I feel awful as I've not been here supporting my friends so I hope you all know I'm thinking of you lot..
Assume I'm there for pocket duties.

Hi all. Sat in waiting room for my ultra sound scan. Hands and elbows. Wish they'd do the spoilers and neck while I'm here, that's getting worse..
Dad is doing really well still. Surgeon very happy.
Grandma still not eating :roll: I'm very worried about her. Love her to bits.

They've placed another crazy next to him. This one likes grabbing poo and wiping it on the bed clothes

Mum is flapping over the soft diet that he's to have but I'm sure they'll adjust..

I think we need some better luck..
Saw mi Grandma this afternoon and she looked a little better. Managed to get her to have a few sips of her tea and eat a chocolate eclair, she loves them but it took some persuading.. She's no teeth but guns made from titanium.. Lol

Her hair needs cut, I told her that and she told me to shut up lol
