    I had a text this morning, she has gone back to the hospital for an appointment. I won't be able to update you any further I'm afraid but hopefully our lovely will be able to look in soon.

    Tilly I am sorry I am late seeing this...you poor thing on top of everything, but Im glad to see you are home,and hopefully they have found out what was wrong, there is nothing worse than having to worry on top of everything else.I hope you feel better very soon.

    Thank you to DD for posting this for me and thanks to you all for your kind replies - and for taking the time to reply when you are all struggling so much yourselves.

    To cut a very long story short, I was discharged from hospital yesterday evening, still in pain, with no further idea of what the problem(s) might be and, apparently, no further help available bar the usual "go back to your GP" (as if that's going to do any good).

    So I am very down, pretty desperate and have no earthly idea where I go from here and I really don't know how much longer I can cope with this. I am embarassed to share this but, after an "incident" a week or so ago, I have asked my husband to take my morphine and codeine pills to work with him, leaving me only the bare minimum and to hide the big bottles or Oromorph, so I have only what I need for the day. That's how desperate things have been.

    Thanks again peeps for your messages. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them.

    Hi Tilly,

    It's completely understandable that you're feeling down and desperate after your experiences, and there's nothing in your post that should make you embarrassed. Please speak to your GP as soon as possible and let him/her know about everything that's been going on, not just the physical pain.

    bless you pain is so awfull i do hope the gp helps you hospital not doing its job that for sure any one would get very down we understand i have had couple of days rolling in pain and i know there is an end to it and get so down not to know the reason well there can be nothing worse so we are here when things get bad let us help you ((())) val

    Thank you so much one and all for your kind replies.

    I have plucked up courage today (how daft is it that courage is needed :roll:) to book a double appt with the GP for a final attempt at trying to get some help with what is going on. It's an evening appointment so my lovely husband will come with me for moral support which will make it easier. I say "final attempt" because this has been going on for so long and help just isn't forthcoming from anywhere. If nothing comes of it this time, I have no idea where to go from here. The appointment is next week so I have a bit of time to try to get a "plan" together.
