    Thank you so much all for your continuing support and kind, wise words. And an extra special "thank you" to Val for taking the time to post when you are going through such a traumatic time.

    I have just finished "honing" my bullet point notes for tomorrow's appointment so I think I am as ready as I can be.

    May be gallstones - will have scan for that soon.

    I did wonder if it might be gallstones Tilly but thought the hospital would have ruled this out when you were sent in as an emergency? I have them and the pain sounded quite similar - it is really bad I know. But I think mine are now so huge now that I don't have any bother with them as they can't run around my body creating havoc anymore! I hope it is gallstones because your gallbladder is easy to remove but I find I'm fine if I stay away from fatty or rich foods. Good luck with the scan. Mat xx
