Thank you all so much for your continued support and apologies for not being on to reply for a few days. Things still not good at all re stomach.
To cut a long story short, I now have private gastroenterology appt on Saturday morning and hopefully endoscopy to follow fairly shortly thereafter. GP has advised that waiting times are long for NHS gastro appts so despite the eye-watering costs it's got to be worth it cos I can't carry on like this. In my mind, even if this investigation shows nothing untoward, it will at least tell the docs what it isn't - and hopefully be a step towards finding out what's causing the problems.

Hi Tilly, I'm so sorry your suffering so bad with your stomach, Even though your having to pay a cazy amount of money! Seeing a private doctor means you are seen quickly rather than suffering for a long time waiting for an appointment off a NHS Doctor. Hope you get some answers on Saturday.

i had upper one not lower but was not a long wait but i think it depends on if they think it cancer makes a big difference they have a two week dead line they have to keep so at least they do not think it this (())) good luck val
