It sounds as if things are moving forward for you so, hopefully, it won't be much longer before you are feeling better. Lucky you getting a new kindle.Christine0

Thanks Numpty, Sticky and applerose.
I was encouraged Sticky by your experience of omep. I now have the pills so can get started on those tomorrow instead of the others.
Today has been the best day stomach and nausea wise for weeks - no idea what's changed and, on past experience it won't last, but I'm just making sure I make the most of it while things are better than they were.
Numpty - Kindle is FAB thanks Still learning about what it does and how to do it but I am enjoying finding out!
Thanks again.

How's it going with the omep and tramadol, Tilly? Dare I hope a bit better? If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks so much peeps for keeping this thread going and for thinking of me. I really do appreciate it. Sorry for delayed reply.
I've had a better few days - yay. Have started on the Omep rather than the Lanzo and no probs there. Not started the Tramadol yet - still using the Oromorph.
Have now had abdo ultrasound and because it was done by a doc rather than a technician, she was able to tell me what she saw whilst she was doing the scan which was really good. I don't have gallstones, my kidneys, pancreas and spleen look fine but my liver is not in great shape ("fatty deposits" - yuck - throughout apparently). But I'm told that is not normal, but very common and unlikely to be causing the pain etc. So now waiting to see if consultant wants to do CT scan of whole abdominal area to see if anything shows there. So although no further forward in one sense, at least I know what it isn't which I guess is a good thing.
Thanks again for all your support lovely peeps.
Really hope you are all able to enjoy Christmas doing whatever you do (in our case, very little which is my idea of heaven )
