    Hello all, another brief update: Lucy had a slightly better day yesterday and, the last I heard, was that Mr Frog had just left to fetch curry for everyone. I feel cautiously optimistic. DD

    A brief update from me as D D currently has no wifi.

    Lucy's op. to insert the new picc line will go ahead as planned tomorrow morning.

    Update

    Lucy is back on the ward, all done and dusted but this time with a Hickman line aka Hilary Hick.

    I am happy. And relieved :D

    My apologies, everyone, for a very belated update but I 've been out for several hours.

    I'm very pleased to report that Lucy was sitting up and eating around 5-6 pm so hopefully things are still going well.

    Good to hear :) I too hope all goes well from here.

    Hope Lucy feels well enough to watch the BB final (just cos it's nice to see things through & not miss out fun little normal 'continuity' things), hoping for the best for Christmas.. :wink:
