Thank you all very much
We arrived home last night about 10pm in tie to watch the BB final on plus one. VERY disappointed that Helen won. Grrrr!!!
Lucy's new line (Hillary Hick) is settled in well and (hope no-one is squeamish) bleeding back beautifully Petunia purple picc didn't want to live with us so Lucy said
We will be nipping in to the hospital for bloods tomorrow in the day before chemo should start on Monday all being well.
In the mean-time eating shall commence!! You can't get so much as a piece of toast there
Infection seems to have subsided with the removal of Peter Picc (old one).
Nasty scary morning that was with her temp shooting up and sats shooting down. She had to have oxygen too, but all seems well ATM
Thank you all so much for posting your good wishes it helps I am convinced of it.
Thank you very much Stickywicket for keeping everyone in the loop
much appreciated
Off to start all our hospital washing

No peace for the wicked then
I'm so pleased, and relieved that Hilary Hick is proving a contented lodger. Long may she pull her weight and do her stuff.
Love to all. xxIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Stickywicket - Hillary Hick is very happy to live here I think - she went to our local pub last night and helped Lucy eat fish and chips
Lucy is getting pretty good with her new crutches the physio gave her (she is trying to help her mobilise without me ) I am very proud of her.

Frog, I think we're all very proud of her. Or at least proud to be associated with such a special young woman. She copes so well with all that life throws at her - and it has thrown far more than most will ever experience. She is a real star.
As is Hilary HickIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

So glad to hear you are home and I hope the bloods a OK today so that the chemo can go ahead tomorrow. Exam results on Thursday is it? I will be keeping my fingers crossed for her - but I think just sitting them was enough of an achievement. Sending positive thoughts your way. ((())) xxx0

I have some better news! Hilary Hick has settled in and appears to be working to help our girl. Lucy managed to add nearly a kilo to her weight over the weekend, and she coped yesterday with double chemo without nausea.
Je suis happy for Lucy and Frog! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
