An update on Frogmorton.

I am so pleased to hear that Lucy has put some weight on - you must be relieved. It is a shame that the treatment has to make them so ill. I think Lucy is amazing. What a strong young woman she is.

Thanks Frogmella - it's a relief that Lucy is gaining weight albeit slowly. Tonight she requested smoked salmon pasta so I cooked it with cream - extra calories

Barbara - there is light definitely, in a matter of a month or so she will be on maintenance which is only IV chemo once a month, intrathecals 3 monthly and two chemo tablets at home. Her hair may even start to grow back too

Hello DD - Yes PSB has white polka dots on her! Not infectious I think maybe the Teenage cancer trust have extra money to spend thanks to Stephen Sutton.

Wow, a burger and salmon pasta. Fantastic. Lucy will start putting weight on quite well now I think. That is a long week but, as you say, well worth it. You wouldn't do any other. And Lucy took part in a meeting? I'm sure what she had to say will make a difference for everyone there. Spotty Bunny sounds cuddly. Have a good day tomorrow.

Not long now then till the maintenance chemo..it will be much easier on all of you..think I told you my Nephews sons hair grew back curly...and a few years on..its is not straight..but more important he is well... love to all of you (((()))xx

Forgot to add how pleased I am to hear maintenance is on the horizon Fantastic. Hope Lucy has had a Sunday lunch of similar proportions to yesterday - certainly plenty of cals in 'those' choccy puds - even the teeny ones! xx

We have a hiccup; this morning Lucy's temperature hit 38.7 so they are back at the hospital. She has begun anti-bios plus paracetamol and they are waiting for a bed. DD

A brief update: Lucy is now in a side-room due to the infection but, according to Frog, 'she is more like herself' which may indicate progress. They are hoping to be home at some point on Monday but we'll see, I think there's still a little way to go. DD
