............the forum dwellers who responded to Sticky's post about me in December, much appreciated.

2017 is not going to be an easy year for me - I go into hospital on Wednesday, for surgery before starting chemotherapy, then after that a rather major op. A long process, but I have wonderful support from family, friends and medics, & I'm trying to stay positive.

I really hope to be back on the forum eventually, hopefully feeling better & stronger by then.

Take care all,

Tezz x

Tezz, you are a master / mistress of understatement. It's going to be a gruelling year for you. An operation - chemo - operation sandwich is a scary prospect indeed. But rest assured we will be with you all the way. The mental strength which enables you to write so dispassiomately about it will stand you im good stead. Please keep us updated and my very best wishes for your success. ((( )))

    Tezz

I am very sorry to read your news :( I am glad to hear you will be in so soon this stuff needs to be sorted out quickly.

As you probably know my 16 year-old was diagnosed with leukaemia and went through 2 and 1/2 years chemo in Jan 2014. When I read this post my stomach dropped :(

However I know that the guys on here will support you, as they did me while my daughter fought, and won, (as you will), the battle against this evil disease.

I will be thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way.

Can I also send my love to your family and some strength to you all

    Toni xxx((()))

I hope you have much support around you and meet with the best care in your treatment journey. Macmillan's Maggie centres are a wonderful source of support of all kinds if you have one near you.
Take good care and gentle hugs to you and your family, xxxx

Bruised, b******d but not unbowed. Op went OK, but can't have chemo till wound has healed, so let's hope the tumours don't get ahead.

Joints protesting badly, May be able to have steroids Monday - too soon after op until then.

    Ain't life exciting?

Please keep up your invaluable support & good wishes for me - they mean such a lot & I really need them.

    Oh Well-done Tezz.

I am sure the tumours will not get the chance to sneak ahead - the docs have their protocols designed to keep you as well as possible.

Any likelihood and I will bop them

Changing a stoma bag with sausage fingers is quite a challenge - let's say I'm glad I'm not being timed!

However, if I had on my teacher's hat, I would say " This pupil is making satisfactory progress."

    Tezz x

PS having christened my tumour Nellie, I now have Sidney the Stoma. The nurses seem to think this is hilarious, for some reason.
