Well, hello everyone. I gather everyone is sloshed, fil-t-brim, and absolutely kna-c--d, like.
Well, news for you, so am I. Every bit of me hurts, burns. I think the chiropractioner is going to be a bit cross with me.
Have had a lovely cup of black coffee Previously I had to have one of those Red thing drinks to give me some energy.
It has all been worth it though, To have all my grandchildren around has been very emotional for me. We don't get together that often. It was noisy five boys to one girl. But boys just get on with it.
Now have the 28th to chill, and then 29th, we are out to dinner with some friends. Nice but it is a good 60 mile round trip at night.
Then we think about New Years Eve. What does everyone else do?

Hi Rehab
The hols were good thanks. Lots of playing in the snow :!: Thanks for the 'young' :!: :!:0 -
Now Jan, if you lay on the mattress instead of hubby you'd get comfy.
I'm not ready for bed either, fed up of the snoring
I'll have a large cuppa tea & a bucket of sleeping tablets to get me off.

Morning all. A bit late but have been facebooking since 7 a.m.
Piercing pains in my hips woke me up today. Left hip is the worse
Apart from bursitis flare up maybe, could be OA perhaps? Chiro did say I'd got it. My neck is bad too.
Shall have to get plenty of rest for New Year. Daft me has offered to baby sit for son and wife. OH will be mad at me because they live 30 mins away which is a long journey after they get back from their Club
Better have a coffee before I tell him.

HI all,
I see we are already craving the green stuff, so here's a huge bowl of green salad, and another of tomatoes ...... also some natural Yoghurt with dried fruit in, which I'll pop into the fridge.
I 'll have a quick coffee this morning I think before I send hubby out into the cold with littlelegs. I'm saving my energy for the shops
hope you all had a better night's sleep, and that today the pain is less.
see you later when I'm laden with shopping bags0 -
Hi Jan and Rehab.

I was going to have a quiet chill out day today after going to Tesco to change a Nintendon DS game which I had doubled up on.
Except when I got there found it was one I had bought on Amazon. Felt a bit stupid. OH had a fit when he realised how much they cost. Trouble is with kid's pressies, nothing is cheap. I am now left with a SIM ANIMALS Africa. game. After Tesco's we went over to sick DiL with some food left over and ended up having another Christmas Day. Lovely set out table. more pressies. DiL was all dressed up and later she managed to eat quite a bit after days of not managing to keep anything down. off to bed. Can't keep my eyes open. So tired. I keep falling asleep at the PC
See you in the morning

Hi luv
It was awful coming back from Woodford (do you know it?) There is a 1mile long dip in the road, and there is suppose to be a ghost at that point. You can see him crossing the road sometimes.
How are you doing with the car? My OH is very good with cars but not the modern things that need new sensers boxes whatever - which is why he is desperate the get the two Triumph 2000s on the road - now you have the dog to worry about too. Hope everything gets fixed before the New Year good luck Joy0 -
Hi Jan Lynn Joy Trisher Debs.

Afternoon, all - Jan, Joan, Joy and Debs.
I am gasping for a large builders now.
I think I have nearly completed the marathon that 2009 turned out to be. We had a lovely Christmas with my daughter and SIL, unfortunately since we got back I have been a teensy-weensy bit under the weather. Just one more shopping session (and handbag-buying session) to complete and we will dig ourselves in for the ***** snow that's been forecast.
I couldn't look another turkey in the face (or anywhere else, for that matter) and will stick to veggie soup and rolls for a while. Mmmmm maybe also the odd cream cake here and there, too.
Annie0 -
Hi Jan, Debs, Joan Annie and everyone I've missed(so((()))rry)
Glad that at least someone is looking at the car for you. that's a relief.
Turkey, there's loads you can do with turkey, esp curry or chinese stir fry it with any veggies you have. I made turkey pie once, just bung the turkey with any sausages and stuffing and popped all minced with the gravy under a layer of mashed spud. It was 'not bad' just filling.
Now, can you tell me, while I have a builders, why it is when I was all fit, not taking medication and full of vim, I never seem to get any invites to parties and dinner parties and ord parties. And now, feeling so sore and achy, so tired and drowsy from the meds, we are suddenly engulfed by invites to dinner party tonight (can't keep my eyes open) We were out all day yesterday, New Year's Eve etc. Roll on New Years Day, except my son will probably ring up and invite us over for Sunday Dinner. Keep the grand children company. Lovely I'm looking forward to it mind
Bye Girls and Boys (missed you out) sorry
Joy0 -

I hope there's enough buckets of energy defrosted and I could do with a can or two of merriment!
I will settle for a bedtime builders and a bit of shortbread, that should keep me going through the night.
Hope Cris gets her one-eyed monster sorted, but of course she's having the denerving done on Thursday, isn't she? She might not feel like posting immediately after that. All the best, Cris!

I can't sleep! First time for ages I've been like this, mind you, I've been sleeping for England over the weekend.
A large builders might do the trick. And a cornish pasty - are there any in the freezer? Let's see, yay, there's a lovely one here!
I shall sit quietly over there and hope I begin to feel sleepy........
